Plz help, 2024 sucks and I love you all

Hey guys, I'm so so so tired.

I haven't actually been so active lately due to so much crap going on at home.

I've put up a goal and am begging for some help.

My apartment complex had their bi yearly inspections and we ended up failing due to over clutter. I have a family of 7 that we've squeezed to fit into a small three bedroom unit so of course, it's going to look cluttered ToT

We ended up having to rent a whole storage unit to be able to fully declutter or face being evicted. On top of that, they've also raised our rent here by $200.(We paid $960, now it's $1160) On top of THAT, our vehicle was totalled so now we are currently borrowing my father in law and having to figure out a new car situation too.

We're barely managing to scrap by, but with all of that going on, I'm not honestly not sure how we're going to manage for this Christmas season. (I know it shouldn't seem like a big deal, but I have 5 gremlins between 5-14 so for them, it's a big deal) The goal isn't all going for Xmas, there's also general needs and such for home in there too.

I will be so eternally grateful to any and all help received in this time of need. I know it comes off as whining and for that I'm sorry. I genuinely just needed to rant about it all too. Thank for taking your time to listen to this old momma beg(and scream and cry)

Hey guys. It’s been a while since I last posted. I was hoping to return with some positive updates, but I think this year hates me.

As some of you may know, I’m trying to find another job to feed my family, but it’s taking longer than expected.

Because of that, my living situation has worsened. We’ve started to run out of necessities, especially food. The house is getting empty and I’m terrified of where we’ll be by the end of the year.

I’m really sorry to ask, but if you could donate towards my goal, I will be forever grateful. It’ll help me support my family while I try and find work.

it's time for a new computer.

im raising money for a new computer because my current one is on its last foot and likes to 💥BLOW UP💥 even when im just watching youtube videos. This is hard for me, a chick who likes to fuck around with software, run intensive programs, would like to 3d model, amd maybe even play games that have a bigger screen real estate of 300px. just in general. my craputer is holding me back from the mayhem i am trying to create in the world of art.

starlet i'm sorry but you've blown up too many times. you're being replaced by a sexier, more capable computer woman.

also im trying to keep it upbeat BUT! this computer would mean a lot to me. i genuinely cant even run art programs or check my e-mail sometimes and i'd really like to play games or do streams with my friends again. starlet's busted in several ways and it'd take too much money to rule out all possible issues, i got her a new PSU for christmas (haven't installed yet, we'll see...? >3>) but she has motherboard, gpu, and cable connector issues, not to mention the parts are mostly from 2011-13 and mad slow. i live in a place with a bad power grid and i think a lot of parts got fried from constant black/brownouts and starlet was 2nd hand in the first place.

i'm disabled/no income/have mobility issues and my computer has failed to be sufficient for online healthcare tools, it's jeopardized my livelihood as an artist, and it's made me feel alone when i can't leave the house with chronic health issues. i'm sure you understand... NOW LET'S GET THAT GREEN WOMAN!

I didn’t want to type…all this again but- needless to say I’m not happy.

I just scheduled this (clickable; will take you to corresponding tumblr post) after all that happened tonight. I’m…running low on the energy I have…it’s 3:12 AM.

I’ve done an Adult(ing).

I’ve transferred my prescriptions to my new local pharmacy,

I’ve sent in the form for my current PCP to request my medical records from my previous PCP.

I’ve done dishes, showered and washed my hair.

This week I also scheduled my first plasma donation appointment closest to my new location. However, I’m going to have to save for the Uber rides to the center and then back home.

I did a lot today despite the rocky night. ^^ @a-captions-blog if anyone could share and/or drop a dollar to my kofi goal it would mean a lot.

Update: 13% closer to my goal!!!
