⏳ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

it depends on how inspired i am/how much free time i have. but in general i consider myself to be a slow writer😭 all the violence is 13k and i wrote it in five days which was kinda a personal record but a making ghosts chapter usually takes me?? a couple of weeks?? maybe a little less?? i’m not fast that’s for sure

Regulus Black x whimsical!reader (gender not specified)

Regulus knew he shouldn’t be surprised to find you out here – but his heart thumped in relief when he finally made out your form standing ankle deep in the Black Lake with your face pointed towards the stars above. 

Most people would begin to panic, finding their partner standing in a body of water in the middle of the night all alone. But this was just the kind of thing one learned to expect when dating you.

Expect the unexpected.

“You’re going to have to find a better hiding spot, my love.” He called out to you from the dry edge of the shore. You never spooked at the suddenness of his voice, proving you’d somehow sensed his presence prior to him alerting you of it. 

Though he couldn’t see your face, he could tell you were smiling.

“I wasn’t hiding, Regulus.” You said as if he were being particularly ridiculous. As if he hadn't just spent the better part of an hour looking around the castle for you.

He smiled all too adoringly at your back even though you couldn’t see him. “Could have fooled me.”

You turned at that, offering Regulus a kind smile. Regulus guesses you would be incapable of smiling any other way. “I hope I didn’t worry you terribly.” 

Regulus felt his heart squeeze at the sentiment. He’d likely worry about you for the rest of his life if he were to be quite honest. He’d be happy to do so, however.

“What are you up to, tonight?” He asked instead of answering you.

You turned your smile back towards the sky; Regulus mourned the loss of it. “Recharging.”

He hummed in acknowledgment as if what you just said made any sense at all to him. “Do you think you’ll be much longer?”

You chuckled at him and turned your entire body to face the shore instead. “You cannot rush this Regulus. Why don’t you join me?” You said, opening your arms widely.

Regulus hated to admit how inviting your embrace seemed to him, even at the expense of soaking his pant legs. He held strong, however. 

“I quite like the view from here, thank you.”

You let your arms fall to your sides, but your smile never wavered. 

“It’s very good for your inner vibrations, Regulus. The moon has been charging these waters all month. Tonight is the new moon, so you must recharge tonight, otherwise you’ll be waiting another month to try again.”

Regulus was sure you were trying your hardest to sound stern, but your voice only echoed across the waters like the gentle song of a siren calling him to his watery grave.

And who was he to deny that call?

“Oh, if you insist.” He spoke into the night, not at all begrudgingly removing his shoes and socks before rolling his pant legs up as far as they would go to join you in the lake.

The wattage of your smile rivaled that of the moon not currently present in the sky, acting as a beacon guiding Regulus towards you. 

You spun in your place to once again point your face to the sky while Regulus slotted himself in behind you and wrapped you in his arms, pushing his face into the crook of your neck. 

“You’re supposed to face the stars, Reggie.” You whispered to him.

Regulus hummed into your neck. “Who says I’m not?”

You chuckled, patting Regulus’ hands from their place on your stomach as you allowed him to rock you back and forth gently.

“You’re silly.” You admonished. 

The two of you stood in the water, swaying placidly as if you were being pushed ashore by the meager waves this Lake produced, enjoying the quiet and each other’s company.

“Doesn’t this feel wonderful, Regulus?”

People do not know how to read you. The decision most people would immediately jump on you take the time to consider and really weigh your options. People hate that about you bc they think you’re too good but it’s lowkey a subtle flex bc it shows you have options. People feel like you get too many chances or things come to easy for you and almost like it’s not fair like you always win. If it’s a situation where you always win people feel like you don’t even try. For example at school it can be a random drawing and your name can get called in an assembly or in the morning announcements and people know you didn’t even try and they put so much energy into hoping they’d get it. 😂

Folks pay a lot attention to you bc you always seem so oblivious yet you’re so rational. You say the most intelligent things and overall you make people feel stupid because a lot of times people assume you’re slow or have dumb blonde energy when half the time you’re not even paying attention. But the other half of the time when you seem like you’re not paying attention you actually are you’re just very strategic. Life is like a game of chess for you and this can make others feel like you’re sneaky or have the intention to one up them by using information when it’s convenient for you. You give non chalant energy but not in a rude way in a calm at peace type of way. People leave you out because you make them realize they’re lowkey thirsty or pick Me’s since you don’t jump at every opportunity like they would, but you teach others about the vastness of life by being patient. Others see you as abundant and before you come into peoples lives even if you’re not close to them they see things as very black and white, this or that, left or right, but you being a multi faceted perspective energy to things. I’m getting mutable energy especially gemini, or heavy Jupiter energy or aspects to your Jupiter or 9th house.

People do love that you kind of don’t care about things BUT YOU DO😂 people really don’t understand you, but the crazy thing is with you it’s what you see is what you get but people swear that you’re hiding something or people may ask you what’s wrong a lot and you’re like nothing????? You’re a popular loner like people will try to leave you out just to tell you about it later and you’re like 😃 ohmygosh that’s so wonderful and they’re like BIH you should be jealous like… people really wanna make you the villain. The type of look you have is very girl or guy next door but effortlessly sexy. You actually do alot of self care and you’re intentional with getting dressed but you’re subtle. It’s just a I washed my face and brushed my hair type of thing. You could have a chiseled jawline or symmetrical face. I’m seeing Reggie’s fine self from riverdale. omg to start im not really a Regulus Blogger... i love him ofc but hes usually only in the background to my rosekiller. and i love all the regulus characterizations i read (more than my own sometimes tbh)

my controversial take is that my reggie is tall 😔..... he's small growing up but now he's the same height as James. who has a sort of furious, lustful conniption every time he wants to make a snide comment and remembers that The Baby Black is now a perfectly grown 20-something with unimpressed eyes and the world's unfairest aristocratic jawline

he and sirius both have that ethereal, feylike house-black thing going on, except sirius is prettier and more striking and softer and more girlish. like snow white. regulus looks every part the conventional pureblood heir: dark and austerely handsome and fine-boned and patrician. the thickest eyelashes.

undisputed leader of his friend group but not on purpose. reggie sees himself as this unappealing boring loser (the opposite of sirius) but he just has this? ineffable main-character thrall? once he's in your life you just want to die for him

what do you think about the characters in Double Exposure so far?

the characters themselves arent that bad,, but i definitely cant say i really care for any of them yet. as in i wouldnt be that upset at any of their deaths

at first i was NOT vibing right with Safi at all considering literally all of her jokes are straight up hit or miss, but the more we learn about her (or. learn that we have a lot to learn) the more i’ve grown interested and fond of her. she kinda gives Way Too Excited For 8 AM Teacher vibes.

Moses is kinda intriguing to me right now, but is also pretty much a nothing burger,, i can only assume (and hope) i’ll see more about him after chapter 1. so. he’s kinda silly, thats about it.

OH Loretta. i hate her so much, she’s so funny, i love her. i always love to hate a good bitchy girl character. oh my cod— ESPECIALLY when the look she gives Max if u try to call her bluff. im definitely hella excited to see more of her— especially since she clearly brought out the more bitchy side of Max. honestly so far i think these two’s dynamic is my favorite. she kinda feels like Max, Victoria, and Rachel all smushed together.

then theres Gwen,,, the game’s definitely setting us up to be suspicious of her. i dont have many thoughts about her though other than that. shes hot ? kinda endearing when shes not pissed at us. thats about it.

Amanda……………. 😒 she exists ig. no fr though, she’s literally fine. she feels more like a quirky best friend disney channel character than a real person. and then theres with the game SHOVING her and max together… idk! maybe ill warm up to her. i dont want to hate her but the game is very quickly pulling me down that route.

oh then the other guy max can flirt with for some godforsaken reason?? Vinh is his name i think. i dont trust him, and i dont think were supposed to. personally i think it feels ooc for max to openly flirt with him back— especially so quickly,, even if she’s doing it jokingly or smth. like girl you were just either talking about how you can never recognize when youre being flirted with or need to take time before flirting back with someone— AND even then. you’d think max would be more wary of overly charming who show an interest in her.

which brings me to Lucas. im guessing if anything happens with him he’s gonna be a red herring. maybe it’s just me, but i wouldn’t be surprised if were supposed to be reminded of jefferson when we see him,, at least he doesnt have any real interest in her though.

pretty sure Amanda and Vinh are the only two love interests? either way i honestly dont think it makes sense for Max to be seeking either of them out romantically. this may be the Aro in me, but chloe was a realistic “love interest” in the OG game because well. they were Max and Chloe. and besides that Max was already with her basically 24/7, and was obsessed with her. they made sense. they werent forced or obviously placed there just to be love interests— it was natural.

this brings me to Chloe… im happy she’s haunting the narrative rn,,, could be doing it a little harder imo—but other than that im. trying not to form any huge opinions on the Max and Chloe situation. when we (hopefully istg decknine) get the whole picture ill probably talk about this more. im just pretty conflicted.. and also wishing decknine just CHOSE one of the endings (bay WHO SAID THAT) instead of leaving it open to not piss anyone off.

oh uh then Reggie and Diamond,, i dont have any thoughts about them really except for being mildly intrigued by the amount of attention handed over to Diamond. im guessing she’ll have more plot relevance later,,, but Reggie will prob stay a very side character.

i thinkkk thats everyone? OH. Yasmin. not much about her. can appreciate how much she cares about Safi’s murder. but yeah nobody else comes to mind,,, and if i did miss somebody i guess that just goes to show how little i think of them.

so i guess overall my thoughts about the DE characters are “we’ll have to see what happens.”

So Dorcas, Reggie, and Remus all get together in the library and study. Sometimes they don’t even talk at all, but they love it because of the company. But they’ll also talk about some of the latest gossip at Hogwarts. It goes like this:

Reg: Remus, can you pass me that quill?

Remus: Oh yeah, here.

Dorcas: Did you know that one 1st year Ravenclaw burst his inkwell trying to get a quill out with his wand?

Remus: Amateur, he needs to practice his incantations.

Reg: I think he’s pathetic.

*all of them go back to studying and then every 10-15 minutes a small conversation strikes up*

Sirius, Marlene, and James all head out to the Quidditch practice field and just goof around. They will fly upside down on their brooms and watch as the others cry laughing. Something like this:

*Marlene riding her broom in a circle faster than the speed of light*

Sirius: MARLENE YOU LOOK LIKE A DONUT

*Marlene falls to the ground and gets up only to bang her head on a wall, much like a loony tunes character* James is on the grass dying of laughter, not even able to get up because that’s how hard he laughed.

So, Pandora and Pete head down to the lake and just talk about whatever’s on their mind. I could imagine a conversation almost like this:

Pete: Have you ever thought about why butter flies aren’t made of butter?

Panda: Yeah, I always thought that was sort of weird.

Panda would never make Pete feel foolish or stupid when he says something, but instead she actually adds her own thoughts and inputs to it.

Evan and Lily are both prefects and whenever they’re done with duty, they’ll go to the Marauders’ dorm room and sneak chocolate frogs out and eat them while talking to each other about the shenanigans they went through that day, something like this:

Lily: This 1st year hufflepuff was almost transfigured into a table!

Evan: No way, I think it was the 3rd year Slytherin that probably did that… you know, the one with a shining charm on his Slytherin patch?

Lily: He is so annoying, always talking about how many quidditch brooms he has at “daddy’s mansion.”

Evan laughs at her impression of the kid.

So yeah that’s how I think their conversation goes.

Next, we have Mary and Barty. Mary just does her makeup and Barty watches in awe as eyeliner perfectly laces her eyes. One day Mary notices him watching and asks him if he wants to wear it, Barty nods. Ever since then, Mary always does Barty’s eyeliner. He doesn’t wear is often, but when he does, it makes him feel powerful. She also is his kind of personal therapist? Here’s how it goes:

I also hate fourth season.

anyway. Here’s my theory on what they should have done. They should have killed off five. hear me out. Listen to my reasoning.

Five can essentially time travel and find new alternatives reality’s. we all know that. So what if when five stormed out when he was still a child and blinked to the end of the world, he ruined everything. He cause all of these alternative realities bc he jumped in time. Which causes all the other events like the end of the world bc if he hadn’t left, Ben would have never died, viktor would never have seen his powers and the sparrow academy and the commission wouldn’t have existed. the whole Reggie is an alien doesn’t make sense at all, the whole marigold shit is stupid and hard to follow. but everything was fucked up, because of five jumping in time. They also could have tied that plot into the births of the children and so many more plot holes that would be left behind if u got rid of the marigold plot line. and if Jennifer was apart of season 4, she should have been another sibling, just like lila was. I also belive that if we killed off five, it would draw attention and give the show actual depth (which it’s had before but this would have tied it togther)

Everyone loves five. We know that. So if we killed him off��.it would fix all the holes in the plot, it would draw attention to the show, it would give us actual closure, and it would have felt authentic.

And with fives blinking, we saw how many of Verisions of him did the same thing. Which proves my point on how he fucked it all up. Bc every fix, he tried undo it

which made the timelines worse

And self heroism is what we would have wanted bc he always loved his family and would die for them and it makes sense for his character building

anyway, I think five should have died. Everyone should have lived and marigold and squid plot line never exsisted

It's so funny that Alex is an all day stressed person.

but imagine him and Willie living together, Alex waking up relaxed and chill, just to find out that Willie's all day very chill relaxed non challant personality, doesn't exist in the morning.

Alex is making coffee for them both and Willie sits down. First of all, he looks sick, eye bags, his face has marks from the scrambled duvet, his hair is frizzy and matted up, and he has the facial expression of someone that saw a dead cat in the road.

And then Willie looks at him, no good morning, only "why did you let me sleep with my hair loose? Look at this mess."

Alex :well you fell asleep when we were watching tv i didnt wanted to disturb you.

Willie: So why YOU didn't fixed it for me?

Alex has no answer to that.

Willie express the nexts thoughts, his coffee is making him nauseous, his eggs smell horrid, his juice maker is too loud and "No, Alex, I didn't brushed my teeth yet, what are you? A dental cop?"

Alex is just amused and staring while Willie is running his hands through his hair and staring an empty plate.

Luke, Reggie and Julie come in bc they have some band stuff and Luke looks Willie up "Jesus...alex how are you attracted to this?"

And Reggie "wow we really fell into the trap that willie was a hot godsend. Shame."

And like THEY NEVER saw Willie in the morning so they don't think Willie will be upset by their clownery.

and alex wants to stop it but he also wants to see what willie will do about it

Willie tell them to get out his face, as he is ignored and the boys start to look for breakfast.

Willie: didn't you heard me? I told you that get out.

Luke: chill man we just mess-

Willie: OUT! Now!

Reggie: dude that breath is foul, you kiss alex with that mouth?

Willie, gets up and slam the table: If you don't get out of my house right now, i will kill the both of you with this butter knife and throw both your bodies in that dumpster outside!!!

Luke and Reggie: okay... Alex, we will get donuts and meet you there.

Willie looks at Julie who is puttint herself eggs. "Do you have anything to add too?" "... I love your shirt." And points to the shirt that is definitely stained with dental cream and drool. "Thanks, its Alex's." He says unamused and sits down.

Alex is staring and Willie catches him. "thanks for defending me, by the way." And alex "I want to marry you." "Then you should've gotten ME some donuts."

but alex is just always happy to have a demon boyfriend in the morning.

But he learns too, for example, Willie hates coffee and juice is not an everyday choice, willie WANTS pancakes and bacon and donuts but pancakes, bacon and eggs or anything that has too much carbs make him feel heavy and stuffed, and fruit just and juice are too acid for the morning.

ideal breakfast for willie in the morning that won't get him to complain? Tea and oatmeal with smashed banana and honey. Or guacamole if they have it.

Willie never gets better in the morning, Alex learned that he doesn't care how "healthy" it is, Willie doesn't brush his teeth in the morning. If he forgets to braid his hair before sleeping (which he does. A lot. Sleeps watching TV or drawing a lot.) Alex will either braid for him, or in the morning, Alex will get Willie through breakfast and sit him on the bathroom with a comb and some water, and gently get the knots out. Which usually gives Willie tingles and quiet time so he's more chipper after it. One time willie kissed him after it and said "sorry I am being a dick to you after I wake up." And Alex "please never stop being a dick to me in the morning."

And like when people finally learn to not talk to Willie in the morning, they think Alex mastered how to deal with him but.some mornings willie come in and Alex "i made your breakfast" and willie will go "i dont want it." And start preparing toast and bacon. And alex will look at him like "you know u dont like eating those at this hour, right?" And willie "i WANT to eat it, you can't tell me what to do!" And whoever is there thinks "wow alex is being a super sweet boyfriend and willie is being really moody" and when willie gets his breakfast ready he sits, stares and looks down.

Alex: you don't want it.

Willie: shut up.

Alex: well these look really good, so what about you gimme these, and you can have my yogurt with cereals. It has those dried minced fruit.

Willie: ... Is it creamy?

Alex: no.

Willie: ...fine.

Willi plops into Alex's lap and reach his made breakfast to Alex. And eats "alex's breakfast"

It basically means alex has double breakfast sometimes.

Okay so you know the fae probably Went Hard on stuff like the summer and the winter solstice. Even though time moved differently over there.

So when the boys are back in the human realm, there's a bit of an adjustment. For one, LA doesn't have seasons the way the fairy realm did. And Reggie and Luke came from places in the US where winter was a thing, so they're kind of adjusting too. Though Luke is pretty fine with it, since he wears a beanie and no sleeves no matter what.

Willie and Reggie kind of miss the snow. I think Willie didn't care much for snow until Caleb stole Luke, who taught him the Joys Of Snowball Fights and Snow Men and Sledding.

Snowball fights were very much only a 'Caleb and the other fae are Out Hunting' thing after the first time a snowball went wide and hit one of the fae it was Not A Fun Time For Luke And Willie for several months.

So yeah, the boys are lamenting how they miss snow and sledding. Making sand-men on the beach is just not the same. Throwing sand at each other is Bad actually.

But, they get the bright idea, they could totally make a sled out of two skateboards and some cardboard, right?

Ray has a Very Bad Day after that. At least there were no broken bones this time but Reggie's on crutches for a week (it should have been more, but well, the boys aren't fully human yet) and Willie is Grounded from Skateboarding for just as long. Ray didn't even take his skateboard away, he just used the 'I'm not mad just disappointed' voice and explained it was unfair if Willie could skate when Reggie couldn't even walk

First time Reggie tried to walk through a wall with his crutches (what? his hands were full and doors are hard to open like that!) he went through fine... the crutches did not.

The boys do embrace other parts of the season, though.

Alex and Reggie really like baking. It's soothing, the steps are all laid out, everything smells nice, and there's food at the end. Julie and Ray and Carlos supervise the first few times just to make sure they understand the oven, but after that, they have free reign.

Reggie is the one who discovers the TikTok Baking Twink and starts trying more out there recipes. Some of which, Alex put his foot down to say no. He already lived through the horrific things that did with aspics and pineapple once, thank you. He has no need to relive it.

Luke of course is obsessed with modern Christmas music. Because he hasn't heard it seventeen billion times before, he really loves 'All I want For Christmas Is You' and he sings it to Julie once, really sincerely. Julie is utterly charmed.

He doesn't get why Flynn laughs at them.

When they try to explain Santa to Willie, he just nods sagely. Ah yes, he says, like the fae. You leave him offerings, he decides if you are a good person or a bad person, and rewards or punishes you as he sees fit. And he uses magic.

They are all very creeped out about Santa after that.

Willie does love the idea of gifts, though. Being raised by fairies, he has a very warped relationship with them, but when they explain that you get people you care about gifts for Christmas, he is all on board. Especially when Flynn introduces him to Sparkly Wrapping Paper.

(Yes, Ray has a conversation with Willie that if he wants things from stores, he must use money to buy them and not ask his crow friends to steal it.)

When Willie starts leaving them gifts, it's at random, in the weirdest places. But the right person always discovers them.

It starts normal enough, with some Fun Socks for Alex. Julie gets some sparkly glitter pens. Flynn gets some really weird soda she's never heard of before that has the same effect as seven sodas.

Luke and Reggie get rocks he found that look like a guitar pick and a dog, respectively. They are just as touched and excited as the others, though.

Carlos gets a videogame. It's a game that isn't supposed to be out until next year. Ray is starting to get a headache but Willie earnestly tells him it's not from a store.

Ray gets sweets he loves and misses from Puerto Rico. He has never mentioned these in front of Willie or any of the kids. He knows for certain they're not available in the states. He is scared to ask.

The gifts only get weirder but just as heartfelt from there. Food appears while Julie is studying that she didn't even realise she was craving. Sheet music for long-forgotten songs Luke only remembers snippets of.

Dogs appear whenever Reggie is sad, and once he's cheered up, they happily trot off to wherever they came from. Ray keeps checking the local facebook pages but nobody seems to notice their missing dogs.

Ray is almost relieved when Christmas comes around because hopefully it will stop the ever-increasingly-weird gifts.

He sits through the kids opening their stockings first. His new 'foster kids' are very easy to buy for, because there's so much they've never had and they appreciate just about everything. And yes maybe he did get them all little puzzles in the hopes of distracting them long enough that he can have a quiet afternoon.

Thankfully, the gifts on Christmas seem pretty normal. He maybe gets a little teary-eyed at the World's Best Dad mug the kids all got him together. And everything was bought in stores with money, just like Willie promised Ray.

how are the marauders like in your drs?? were there any specific things about them u didn't expect ?? more storytimes about how you spent time with them please :)

they initially were exactly how i expected them to be, like in those scenarios you might find here or on tiktok, me reading those was probably the reason they acted that way (my subconscious took that and put it in my dr). but of course, once i passed more time with them personally, i found more depth and different aspects of them just like any other person.

for example, there’s james, yea i expected him to be energetic and never stopping himself from cheering people up and be the fun part of the party but then i got to know that he has adhd so there���s more reason to his “never being able to stop moving” (i mean moving in any way, not only through physical movements) so he struggles in class and we have to study together so that he can stay at the class’ pace. he doesn’t look like he struggles but we (his closest friends) all know that he’s having some trouble with it, he doesn’t talk about it much because he doesn’t want to use it as an excuse or get others’ pity;

then there’s sirius, i already talked about him in another post about how he acts with me and reggie, but i can say that he struggle with self identity. i’m not sure how i can explain it but this can alterate his confidence a lot, even though he seems to be the most confident and even arrogant (at times) person in our group. but anyway he’s very gentle with us brothers, and he LOVES physical contact, he really needs it to show his affection, because he’s not always good at showing it with words;

then peter, he’s the most sane in the group tbh, but he’s very insecure, i didn’t expect him to be so self conscious and aware, he suffers from severe social anxiety and he gets physically sick when in those certain situations, he trembles and his voice shakes. but he’s the best listener there, he never interrupts and lets you open up, he just owns that energy that makes you want to talk and share what’s on your mind;

finally, remus, he’s very complex. he’s not sweet or soft at all contrary to what people present him in those scenarios, he seems very chill and laid back but he lowkey has some anger issues, especially with strangers or people outside the marauders, but even with us he’s very straightforward and lets us know if we get on his nerves. i have this thing going on with him, and i can’t get myself to ask him out or talk about our close up moments because he never shows big emotions, even less with expressions or words, but overall he’s a good friend.

i wanted to talk mostly about their difficulties without telling too much, just to let you know that they’re real and have real human emotions lol (remus is a literal robot though /jk).

luther hates to admit it at first, but he sees himself in her. he sees the blind loyalty, the belief that reginald loved them. he knows nikole realises it too late. he finds himself going to her for advice and wanting to be around her more, for she understands him.

diego holds silent respect for her. it first manifests as resentment in the same way it does for the rest of the siblings, but once diego opens up its clear that he truly cares for his siblings, nikole included.

allison absolutely treasures her. they were close growing up and allison feels true pain when she becomes aware of all that's happened to nikole. that's her baby sister, which allison views her as even though they're the exact same age.

klaus would be wary of her at first, the same way he is with luther. he doesn't know where to stand on her loyalty to reginald, but once they get to know eachother on a proper level, outside the academy and its toxicity, they become good friends.

five views nikole as one of the more competent siblings, entrusting her with knowledge that he knows she will keep. he pities her in a way, he wishes that she could see past those rose tinted glasses and realise reginald isn't the good father that she believes he is.

ben didn't know nikole as well as the other siblings. he was quiet and didn't interact much with her whilst he was alive. i think the interactions they do have are very special to the both of them, feeling safe in the others company. perhaps a subtle but potent understanding of the fact that both of their powers could be viewed as monstrous.

viktor admired nikole for what she was, often feeling envy of the way her and the other siblings were treated. after reggie dies, i see them bonding over having energy based powers and becoming friends and a cool duo.

reginald believed nikole to be fascinating. if he could choose, he'd pick her or luther as his favourite. he valued her loyalty and her devotion, believing it to be a powerful asset for when the day he dies finally comes.

the press view nikole as somewhat of an unknown. she would've been a favoured superhero for children, especially young girls, at the time for her power and personality. beyond that, they know nothing which sprouts an innate curiosity.

it's kinda symbolic how in the most peaceful scene we've seen with max, she still hears chloe's voice from likely the worst day of her life. like a symbol for how her trauma will never be fully gone, she's just living around it.

okay um tryna lock back in now, i've got a couple notes:

so overall, this game was VERY if-y. it had some good moments, but the storyline was super unstable and it felt like they didn't really know what they were doing while writing it.

I liked the concept of a multi-versal murder mystery, but once they drifted away from that and started spiralling into the weird Super-Safi storyline it got kinda confusing to follow along

I truly think they had a really great idea with this game, but the weak plot-twists and boring storyline absolutely bombed it. (I guess you could say that the only murderer in this "murder mystery" was the game's plot killing itself)

I also think it had a really lovely messege about overcoming trauma, and I liked how they treated Max's PTSD with the storm (plus her heartbreak from Chloe was actually well handled, which was a huge concern for me when I heard abt it). I think her Dark Room trauma was treated kinda weird bc of the time vortex thing but honestly that was more of a plot-clarity issue over a conceptual problem.

At the beginning, I was HEAVILY judging the music. Maybe my tastes have changed in the past month or sum but now the music isn't that bad (I still HATE the intro song tho) and I actually like the new vibe this game brought to the LiS world. It was def different from the OG LiS game but I feel like thats a good thing since a huge portion of this game is proving that Max isn't that same teenager anymore. She's changed, the world around her changed, and so her new game is a reflection of that.

Also, the cat content... I LOVED customizing the cat, but I thought the add-on was gonna be more obvious and didn't even realize that I had missed the actual content until I went into the trophies menu after playing lmfao😭😭

I have like a million more comments abt this game but I feel like I got all my major stuff out already so I'm gonna stop rambling lol. I still have my pricefield rant/analysis i'm working on and I'll probably make some small comments while I platinum the game but this is it for my live-blogs !! Thank you to my hundreds of adoring fans for sharing these out to world and to the actual 3 people who interacted and decided to try and deciper my insanity ! 🫶
