I want this guy to start enacting french rural courtship tradition. Like putting a whole tree by someone's window in the night.

The tradition is mostly known as "l'arbre de mai" [may tree] but the trees can also just be called "Mais". You may know the german "Maibaum", but it's also a tradition in France, with variants depending on where you live. Basically, in the night of the first of may, young men will bring decorated trees (usually birch in germany and beech in france, but some trees can have additional meaning) to the window of unmarried girls from their village. This is done anonymously and the girls can try to figure out who did that. It's also linked to marriage.

In some region, instead of a small tree, all the young men bring a large tree to the village center and use the branches to make bouquet to leave on the window sill of girls.

There are many variants.

She...Just got unlucky with friends here, where her creativity wasnt really appreciated, especially on holidays ( i have a hc that Swap!Angela liked using all unconventional stuff she could find in her way of expressing herself, and that looked cool, but she was in the wrong place to show )^: ), yeah, girl got a very small group of friends, and even they arent that nice, her teachers treated her better smh- and after one b-day she got the nickname "Two bits". What a friendly nickname!

Bad parenting there(not physical tho), no one wants to have a daugher that didnt get only 2 points for perfect score on the test.. Of impolite and wont finish eating the dish your friends cooked, just cause "The way she cooks is gross, i think she sneezed on the fish".

...And her tutor said: "Why would you eat so much anyway, girl, you dont look like youll need the food for 2 years" , so the prev point kinda more complex. So girl kinda became a picky eater. We dont talk abt guilty midnight-snacking on "bad" food in childhood, girl was SO ashamed when her mom found out she ate some cheese

Thanks to the childhood Angela now have a weird qurk where she NEEDS to know the price of your gift in events, so bring the receipt too(unless its from da family. Marcus is a perfectionist and very picky, Ant is always asks before gifting, so she knows in advance, and Hazel is a small bean & all her presents at that age are important)

Toy companies don't want you to know this,but you can quite literally just buy some cheap but stretchy clear putty,and some 3$ nail pigment off of Amazon or resin pigment powder or makeup powder from the dollar store,mix it in and looks even better than the higher price putties on the market. I try to avoid queer discourse especially on pride month but I'll just give my two cents here so i guys know where I stand on this I guess. No I don't want further discussions, I'm tired.

I don't like the hostility towards afab people who identify as transfem. I understand where it comes from. I understand the resentment because afab transfems don't face a lot of the real life struggles and discrimination that amab transfems face. And at first the term "afab transfem" sounds like an oxymoron so it's easier to dismiss its validity.

But saying stuff like "AFAB TRANSFEM ISN'T REAL IT CAN'T EXIST!! YOU'RE INFILTRATING TRANS SPACES!!" is too broad of a statement to make to not hurt other marginalized groups and ironically enough only ends up being exclusionary.

The type of people I've seen claim the label afab transfems are usually systems, intersex people, multigender people, ftmtf... and they're not trying to erase what it means to be a Trans woman or invading Trans spaces. They're trying to find a label that fits their gender journey.

The argument especially starts becoming iffy when it basically reverts back to "Genital = Gender" which sounds like TERF rhetoric and I am NOT touching that with a 10ft pole.

IF there are cis women trying to infiltrate Trans spaces by pretending to be trans like yeah, fucking call them out. Get their asses. But they're not being afab transfems, they're being assholes.

Everyone's gender journey is different and weird and scary, especially if you end up identifying with a gender that doesn't fit the "norm" and in the end you don't know these people or what their gender journey is. There are a million reasons someone might not feel cis. These people should be welcomed, not harassed.

At the end of the day in the eyes of Transphobic legislators we all look the same to them and they all hate us equally. So infighting is just dumb and unnecessary. Especially when afab transfems are such a miniscule minority in the queer community they cannot feasibly pose any threat to other Trans people. It's their lives, not yours, if they're not harming anyone, let them be.

hm, ideally yes. but if you’re sharing it within a small community with credits i don’t really mind. i get anxious when my art leaves the target audience especially when i’m not in control of it so if you’re gonna use my art for ship wars, then is a very loud and clear no.
