maybe i'm too optimistic, but i think that what happened yesterday at the oval office is ultimately a good thing. trump and vance embarrassed themselves even further and ukraine didn't sign a deal that would have them in usa's pocket for centuries. trump and his posse now lack something every good populist should have: consistency. one day he's calling zelensky a dictator, the next he calls him a hero. even the most brainless trumpie will have questions about what this orange asshole actually thinks. trump is singlehandedly destroying the american empire and it's credibility on the global scale. europe finally has a fire lit under their ass and got their shit together, openly standing up to trump and stepping up to help ukraine. everything seems very scary right now, but honestly i think that the usa will only get weaker and the eu will only get stronger

I expected something like this to happen, but still it pissed me off SO MUCH. I can't even put it into words. I don't really have any hope for peace in the near future. It's obvious that trump's going to push us to accept peace on russian conditions. And of course russia would insist on conditions that would make it easy for them to come and conquer us in the future. Or trump's going to make it look like we are the ones who don't want peace (he did it today) even though we just want to make sure that we won't be attacked again. Peace without guarantees means more war in the future. And next time it might be much worse.

I use AI in medicine to write patient notes (so I can focus on the person, not the computer screen), write appeal letters fighting with insurance companies, and to create interactive patient scenarios for students (really cool what you can do when you learn how to write prompts).

so basically, your AI letters are fighting with insurance companies' AI most likely 😂 isn't it dystopian? it's so obvious when you're talking to a machine and that no one on the other side of the screen reads what you're actually saying, they just look for certain key words they have a script for. not a fan of it, if i'm being honest.

you're using generative AI for all three things, right?you know, taking notes manually has its pros. and i wonder how much time you spend writing prompts and correcting/adjusting what AI gives you (if it's generative AI you can avoid in your work, that is).
