I showed no favoritism towards Luci during my playthrough. I didn’t really opt for romance with the exception of Diavolo.

To me this shows that Lucifer is looking for someone who TRULY understands him to be his romantic partner. This is so so important that even though this happened so long ago in the past, it affects him to this day. He needs someone who understands how much he loves his family and the lengths he’s willing to go for them. Perhaps he never felt truly understood by anyone.

And now I feel more fond of Lucifer. Send help!
