Heath Burns Curupira AU/Redesign + Abbey

So basically, I’m not a fan of this trope of mixing up Hades with the Devil. In this version Heath is the son of Curupira.

Curupira is a forest demon from brazillian folklore. He has fire hair and feet turned the other way around. He is the protector of the forest which I thought went well with G3 Heath being an environmentalist.

This design is based on my personal interpretation of the legend and some creative freedoms here and there.

Okay the authors note was getting too long but more on how I view the toby and masky dynamic given how I write both characters in my hc/au!

Toby does still try to piss off masky, i think. Since hes just generally an ass and there isnt much else for him to do..

You see I'm still trying to figure out how I wanna write masky and hoodie, since I do wish to honor their roots from MH and mesh together the source with the creepypasta fandoms take.. still trying to hit a balance.. might save that for another post, though! But I do wish to incorporate tim and brian into this as their own thing in my hc I'm just not sure how... anyways summary of what I was gonna say, before I deleted it; masky and hoodie arent around 100% of the time, only really when they're needed or called for. Hoodie is around more, though

Toby, on the other hand is around as a proxy 100% of the time considering. You know he krilled his shitty dad and set his neighborhood on fire

Basically there aren't many opportunities for these two to interact but when he does toby is probably shoving masky, probably trying to snag his mask, ect ect basically doing anything to find a way to entertain and stimulate himself, and that just so happens to include fucking with his fellow proxies

Masky, at least in my writing, is fairly stoic... or at least he keeps his emotions hard to read and every now and then he can be a little unpredictable. Call it a byproduct of being mentally worn down by slenderman in order to work with him, or something

Holds little to no reaction to Toby's antics, actually the only time theres anything dished back to him is when he tries to make a grab for the mask

~GINTAMA SQUID GAME AU~ Chapter 1

Gintoki entered the room of the dojo like every morning, it was another day of spring, with the rays of the sun filtering through the branches of flowering sakura trees. The air is fresh and fragrant with flowers and wet earth, while the singing of birds fills the atmosphere.

"Good morning Sensei!"

All the kids shouted together. Shoyo, their Sensei, smiled softly and warmly to his students.

"Good morning kids, let's begin today's lesson, shall we?"

They all sitted in their chair and started writing down what Shoyo told them to.

Everyday was the usual for Gintoki; in the morning they had history and grammar lessons, and in the afternoon the training with his friends.

"Well, that's odd; seeing you helping with the house's chores."

He asks directly, making Shoyo silent for a second in surprise, then a little smile formed to his lips.

"Always so perceptive."

"If you tell me that it's some adults shits I'm gonna-"

"We're in debt."

Gin silenced for a second, then finds the courage to talk once again.

"So that's the problem? We always had problems with money anyways. It's not like it's new."

Shoyo chuckled; passing his hand to Gintoki's head.

"We'll find a shitty way to survive, we always did somehow, didn't we?"

Mr.god complex Dream and paranoid,depressed,extremely tired single dad Fundy would never patch things over.

But thats the thing. Can Mr.God complex face the randomness and sheer vastness of the multiverse and realize he has no power and come out of the other end still having a god complex?

No.

No he cannot.

Coderdy is more familiar with the multiverse (he is a coder he can literally see the fabric of the universe X3) and his leading theory is like all Fundys they are sensible to the multiverse nonesense (glitches and what not) and (dsmp) Fundy linked with him and brought himself and yogi here to escape danger (the whatvering) but since in this universe there was no yogi, universe went “well dream + fundy = yogi” and thats why the pairs ended up switched.

All that knowledge. Fucking breaks dream. Knowing he could have simply be torn appart through a multiversal event. And he is only alive because his ex accidentally saved then he wasn’t even considered to be included in that accidental rescue.

Knowing everything he aspired to have control over doesn’t exist anymore. The places, the things, the people. Breaks him.

Knowing punz is gone. And not just him. But people he had hated so much. And also people he had forced himself to stop caring for. And people he wasn’t aware he would like to simply see again. Breaks him.

Seeing what actual power is, seeing Coderdy modify reality with ease when the extent of his powers was to revive people under specific conditions. Breaks him.

Seeing an alternate version of himself. Happy, care free, recognized and appreciated. Happier than he ever was in his persue. Breaks him.

And after so many world shattering events. It dawns on him. Fundy. His Fundy. His ex fiance is right there. And his son. Is right there. His son he only ever knew existed. Is right there and he is two years old and Dream had never even seen him. And that is all dream knows remains of his old life. That is the first realization that will set him of the path of active change.

So he just forgave her. He always does. He can forgive basically anyone for anything. But here- he still doesn't know her. And she's spent Hunter's entire life being shitty to him too. And also- she escaped the coven and she left the fucking child soldier behind.

when i was coming up with name changes for the Murder Hornets AU there were multiple names that i debated on using before eventually settling on what they have now. so i thought hey. imma ramble and share the most interesting beta names or name origins keep reading cuz this shit's prolly long

Undying was the first name I picked for Uzi, it fits with her actual character and was one of the few good NightWing sounding names that started with a U. The only other good one was Umbra. Nightcrawler was in a super similar scenario. Turns out there aren't very many parasitic insects that start with N. There was genuinely only one other name on the list that started with N, and that was Nematode. If I'm gonna name N after a worm, I'm gonna give him a cool worm at least. I was originally going to name Junix after the jewel wasp until I remembered that there's already a canon HiveWing named Jewel. So I picked the next best thing and named her after one of the most effective predators, dragonflies. Toad and Dawn were the easiest characters to name. I couldve called them something like Tadpole and Denali, but giving them names that were so similar to their canon names was really funny to me. Vespa also had a really easy name. Why are there so many possible RainWing names that start with K. Kaffir is a type of lime, I could've gone with names like Konjac, Kudzu, or Kumbu. Something about Kaffir hooked me. Novaclaws was the most difficult character for me to name as of now. NightWings have a shitty naming system that makes them all sound like pretentious edgelords, and again, not many good names start with an N in WoF apparently.

in short, the MH characters either had easy names, one or two viable options, or way too many options
