I jest X3 who am i but someone that likes characters to crumble and then try and make sense of things <3

Mr.god complex Dream and paranoid,depressed,extremely tired single dad Fundy would never patch things over.

But thats the thing. Can Mr.God complex face the randomness and sheer vastness of the multiverse and realize he has no power and come out of the other end still having a god complex?

No.

No he cannot.

Coderdy is more familiar with the multiverse (he is a coder he can literally see the fabric of the universe X3) and his leading theory is like all Fundys they are sensible to the multiverse nonesense (glitches and what not) and (dsmp) Fundy linked with him and brought himself and yogi here to escape danger (the whatvering) but since in this universe there was no yogi, universe went “well dream + fundy = yogi” and thats why the pairs ended up switched.

All that knowledge. Fucking breaks dream. Knowing he could have simply be torn appart through a multiversal event. And he is only alive because his ex accidentally saved then he wasn’t even considered to be included in that accidental rescue.

Knowing everything he aspired to have control over doesn’t exist anymore. The places, the things, the people. Breaks him.

Knowing punz is gone. And not just him. But people he had hated so much. And also people he had forced himself to stop caring for. And people he wasn’t aware he would like to simply see again. Breaks him.

Seeing what actual power is, seeing Coderdy modify reality with ease when the extent of his powers was to revive people under specific conditions. Breaks him.

Seeing an alternate version of himself. Happy, care free, recognized and appreciated. Happier than he ever was in his persue. Breaks him.

And after so many world shattering events. It dawns on him. Fundy. His Fundy. His ex fiance is right there. And his son. Is right there. His son he only ever knew existed. Is right there and he is two years old and Dream had never even seen him. And that is all dream knows remains of his old life. That is the first realization that will set him of the path of active change.

Very selfishly mind you. The god complex, self centeredness and the *gestures to the whole cubito* that, is not vanishing just cause man had like 35 existential crisis.

And fundy being resentful, angry and so so so so betrayed is defitnely not going to help things.

If it were up to fundy he’d asked coderdy to just send him and yogi back again and leave Dream stranded there.

Thats not possible cause well there aren’t supposed to go outta your universe like this and if Dream stays, mh!Dre and him will implode. And Fundy recognizes mh!Dre is just an innocent party here that just has the misfortune of being an alternate version of his shitty ex -.-

Dsmp!fwt + yogi will have to go back. And that wouldn’t necessarily mean them fixing things but guess what. This is a crack au :3 i can go “and then!” So whatever happens happens X3.

An smp fucking exploding in a time (space?) anomaly isn’t normal. Fundy wouldn’t like to be captured as a multiverse sensitive person thank you. And Dream doesn’t want to answer for all the EVERYTHING that happened in dsmp.

So easy. Fundy will go to the people that fix things (Hermits) cause if he makes it to Vault Hunters he can keep low profile there while fixing stuff.

Dream doesn’t have anywhere to go (buddy burned all his bridges). That is not Fundy’s problem >.>.

Coderdy can’t send them to two seperate places less that causes more problems >.>

And if Dream passed through VH well that will cause problems for fundy so they are gonna have to figure out what they’ll do beforehand -.-

But they can’t stay here cause this is not their universe so Coderdy is like “oh hey just chill in a pocket dimension while you figure it out”

Dsmp!fwt says “what”

And coderdy shows them his one block skyblock pocket dimension where he has a house where they can stay and solve things without risking imploding.

Through multiversal shenanigans and plot contrivances. They’ll have to co-parent and co-habit and get their shit together

Meanwhile you have streamlined!fwt hanging out for like a week and deciding to start their own romcom lmao

Ok well now I'm thinking about a dsmp season 2 au where fwt fall in love and get engaged (this time it goes well) and they both support each other through their memories that still haunt them both and they work for the small community they met each other in with their friends and it's all calm and peaceful collecting resources, building, exploring, having fun until the past wounds on the server start festering and everyone starts having bad feelings about everyone and there's distrust growing between people and with the growing tension they don't mean to lash out specially on c!dream but it's all so weird and frustrating but c!fundy is there for him and defends him from what other people say to and about him...,,,, also could make it fwf endgame idk I just got hit with inspiration for the 16th day event <- maybe idk

I wrote a thing for the Masquerade Arc of the dnd con au!! This is while they’re all going out shopping so before the actual ball.

There’s not really warnings in this- just Quackity being mean at the beginning and some Cala/Fundy, as well as some Fundywastaken (they’re not together yet but the implication of Fundy being a bisexual mess is there HDJDJSK)

“What the hell do you mean you’re going to a ball!?” Quackity’s voice rang out from the stone of farspeech,

“What in the hell are you doing Fundy!? It’s been almost a year since we’ve told you to just kill Cala and then drag that fuckin’ prisoner back by any means necessary! And you’ve been doing what— going on ships, assisting THEM into dismantling that Construct Sam made, and just doing stupid shit!?”

Fundy winced as he heard his boss’s yelling, his ears folding back some as he was trying to talk,

“I— Q, listen I—“

“Don’t call me that.”

Fundy paused, and took a deep breath and swallowed his pride as he corrected himself,

“Sir, listen. I know you’ve wanted results… and I’m aware you’ve wanted Dream as soon as possible but trust me here- I’m doing this by any means necessary and I’ll.. I’ll lead them to you soon- I promise!”

There was a pause, and then Quackity replied. His voice was cold and serious, the usual sway of his tone gone as he spoke,

“Right after this little ball, you are going to lead them here to the Capital Casino. No more waiting. No more stalling. You are taking them all there. And then I’ll figure out what to do with you since it’s shouldn’t have taken almost a fucking year to get this done. Do you understand?”

Fundy felt a lump in his throat and he tried to speak, his voice cracking as he heard Quackity again,

“Do. You. Understand?”

“…Yes sir.”

“Good boy.”

With that the stone of farspeech let out a soft click, leaving Fundy alone in the back of the fancy shop.

He took a deep breath, shaking his head and doing his best to ignore the feeling of dread as he went back inside. He was greeted with a plethora of suits, dresses and accessories that ranged from masks to hats and even some to do with hair.

He had to find his group.

He walked around for a moment until he heard the familiar voice of a very excitable halfling, followed by the deadpan and annoyed, raspy tone of a high elf and the amused tone of a tiefling.”

“Look look!! We should wear these and match!”

“I am not wearing that Cala.”

“Don’t be such a spoilsport Dream— I say wear it!! At least try it.”

“Gods you two are insufferable.”

Fundy quickened his pace as he soon saw the three in the mask section.

“Ah—! There you guys—“ he began but his voice got stuck in his throat as Cala turned around, staring up at him.

She was wearing a white masquerade lamb mask. It was cute, the ears poking out as he saw her jade green eyes look up at him so innocently.

He couldn’t stop the blush across his face and he stammered, trying to regain his composure before he looked towards Dream.

Dream wore a masquerade fox mask. It had the familiar orange and white pattern but on the ears and the forehead of the mask it had a red crown symbol on it. Dream tilted his head, watching his reaction as there was a tinge of his smirk on his scarred lips.

That made Fundy blush even darker and his tail frizz out.

“Fundy!!!” Cala called out and gave him a big hug, her arms wrapping around his waist, “were looking at masks first!! How does this look on me?” She had that bright smile, the scar that Sam gave her being mostly covered but it was still noticeable.

Fundy cleared his throat before he spoke, his voice cracking, “Y-you look great! That mask fits you perfectly.”

“Right!?” Spooky said with a big smile. Her tail swayed as she gestured towards Dream, “apparently his mask matches with it from what we’ve seen. Dontcthey both look great?”

Spooky smiled at Fundy but her eyes said it all as she stared at him,

I know what you are.

Fundy cleared his throat again, rolling his eyes as he glanced at the two of them. He was trying to calm himself down.

“Well- they do look pretty good. But.. I don’t really know if that mask suits Dream.”

Dream made a huff in annoyance as he took his mask off, “What do you mean?”

“Well—“ Fundy continued, soon gesturing towards his smiley mask that was hanging off his belt, “you have a mask, Dream. Or well.. you have one back ever since Mizu. You can just… wear that instead.”

Dream paused as she glanced down at his mask. Fundy could immediately sense he was conflicted by something before he sighed.

“…Not yet. I’m… waiting to put it on. Because I know once I put it on I won’t take it back off.”

“Will it stick on your face and lay eggs in you like those weird parasites?” Spooky asked curiously, half serious.

Dream just blinked in surprise before shaking his head fast,

“N… no??”

“Oh- damn.”

He lightly thwacked Spooky’s head and she pouted before he continued to speak, “It’s just.. a comfort thing. And it’s been so long since I wore it. And I know it’s not my mask, but it feels and looks like it… I just know when I put it on I won’t take it off for awhile, and I think we’re still trying to be discreet among the other kingdoms.”

Cala pouted a bit but nodded, “Yeah, true. But.. I think it’ll look nice on you when it’s back on.”

Dream rolled his eyes and then flicked Cala’s forehead, to which she giggled in response.

Fundy just stayed quiet as he watched the interaction. He felt… safe with them but he knew what he had to do after. They all trusted him, even Dream to an extent but.. he has to do his job. He has to—

“Hey. Hold still.” Dream called out as he went in front of Fundy with the Fox mask in hand.

Fundy tensed up, trying to pull away as he laughed nervously

“Haha Dream what the fuck are you—“

“I said hold still.”

The tone Dream used was low and commanding, and Fundy held still as that blush returned on his face.

He was trying not to glare at Spooky who was behind the other, who was just grinning ear to ear at the interaction.

With ease the high elf put the fox mask on Fundy, adjusting it and soon strapping it on firmly before he pulled away.

He stared and soon smirked, chuckling a bit in amusement.

“This one fits you better than me.”

Fundy blinked and looked towards Spooky, whose yellow eyes were sparkling in excitement and she nodded. “Oh it does!! It matches your whole thing too— your Fox vibe!”

He huffed and then looked down towards Cala who was still wearing the lamb mask. She looked up and there was this genuine smile as she flapped her hands.

“You look perfect Fundy!!!”

He was relieved that they couldn’t see the blush on his cheeks growing, but he felt his tail sway at her compliment.

“Ah… thanks Cala. I guess we match now…?”

Cala nodded and smiled, soon holding his hand as she bounced,

“Yeah!! We match and we can waltz together too and people will think we’re from a fairytale!!”

Fundy let out a flustered noise in response, nearly choking on his spit as he glanced towards Spooky and Dream who were just grinning like Cheshire cats.

He hated this.

But… he also liked it.
