What was the biggest disappointment about the chapter in your opinion?

There was a lot of things- things I called from day one and said I would be disappointed with if they did. The list from most disappointing to least. Beware of spoilers:

-Ollie being the prototype: stupid stupid stupid stupid i hate it its such a blatant rip off of the mimic i hate it so fucking much no wonder chapter 4 was buggy to all hell when mob entertainment is stealing all its ideas from steal wool -The Doctor being the first ever straight up EVIL character in Poppy playtime, and yet somehow, the most disappointing. He had no reason to do the things he did- he was just bitter towards Ludwig for removing him from a program for his own good and was an asshole who tried to sabotage his whole company after his death, and continued to do so even when he was turned into a giant super computer. Despite all his boasting about the omni-hand giving him /god mode i feel like mommy long legs did a better job at rigging things against us while the doctor barely makes an attempt. Its like he doesn't even want to live anymore. Hell I'm not even convinced half of what we do to him was necessary- he didn't need the meaty bits to continue talking- so why did he have them anyways? STUPID. STUPID. STUPID. I'm going to shove him into a Tamagotchi. -The omni hand is a copout. why the FUCK does it have a set number of charges- what if an administrator got stuck in a room with no charges left. DUMB. dumb. so dumb. -Poppy getting mad at us for killing doey as if we wanted to, as if we werent all tricked, thats always broken my immersion in games- when characters get mad at you for the plot. It's like- I WOULDNT HAVE CHOSEN TO DO IT MYSELF!!! -It would have been EASY to get Doey back to his senses, because the tape to do so was literally like 3 rooms from where we killed him- and the doctor had given us choices before. so why didn't we get choices to save Doey here? -One of the tapes shows a reflection of our character, revealing that we are infact 100% human- unless there's a toy stuffed into that hazmat suit we got on. -Mob entertainment has a habit of giving us cutouts for characters with absolutely no screentime and it pisses me off. The nightmare critters were obviously a money grab because of the success of the smiling critters, there wasn't a single section that included them that I didn't think could have easily been replaced with the Smiling critters. YET THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE US CUTOUTS. I continue to hate the nightmare critters.

THE ONLY GOOD THING that came from this chapter is that people will stop yelling at me about Dogday being Dr. White because they share the same voice actor- because its been officially debunked that Poppy isn't Stella Graybur even though they share a voice actor. Voice actor connections have no sway in which humans end up in which toys in lore, and MAN does that make me feel so vindicated.

You and Katsuki were both known for being hot headed and stubborn, for lack of a better word, cunts. Neither of you actually asked the other to date, but by the end of the year, everyone considered Class 1-As explosive enemies a couple. Besides, for people who apparently hated each other, you always found a way to constantly be together or talking, even if it was arguing.

I'm going to tell you a story . I once knew someone called Tim. When I met him he had already spent most of his life in drug addiction treatment centres, psych wards and prisons until he later ended up in a forensic psych ward. After he did LSD he 'never came down from his bad trip' and got diagnosed w schizophrenia. This diagnosis +the addict - diagnosis justified so many fucking human rights violations - it got him locked up, drugged up, strip searched, his privacy violated on a daily basis, isolated away from society and everyone he knew because apparently he needed to be 'saved from this illness in his brain that makes him do/think/feel' things he otherwise wouldnt and because he needed to be 'punished' into being a 'functioning', 'productive' (read: profit-generating) member of 'society' (read: hegemonic cultural norms & forms.) This is what psychiatry does - it doesnt help, it locks us up and tortures us. I dont need to be able to name alternatives to this lol . This is the worst possible way of treating anyone ever. It would help immensely to literally just STOP doing this. Even 'sane' people would go insane in places like these.

So the alternative to acting like an absolute asshole towards people who struggle severely and who dont have a place in society would be to 1)not isolate them away from society and 2)not torture them 🙏 . It would be to get rid off the psychologists' individual and the psychiatric systems' general saviour complex that only results in abusing people bc they act like the people who are labelled as mentally ill are (=their minds/brains) responsible for at fault for their own struggles. Instead we could show solidarity with each other and try to built a world where everyone has a place in and is valued as a person and where the suffering/madness of an individual is not seen as an incentive to literally abuse and socially ostracize them.

And @ everyone dont come at me w 'not everyone has these experiences w psychiatry' - any time you talk about systemic criticism you have to look at the most marginalized experiences. When talking about police defunding/prison abolition we also talk about police brutality that black disabled poor people face . And yes not everyone has bad experiences w every single cop , still ACAB . ALSO dont come at me with 'I know there ar GOOD psychologists who Actually want to help' ,1) fuck their savior complex 2)what individuals motives are for joining this system of oppression isnt necessarily the purpose of a system. The purpose of a system is what it does. The police isnt there to protect us, psychiatry isnt there to help us. We only have each other.

So, what you can do right now to get rid off the psychiatric system in your community? How can we stop relying on this authoritarian system that abuses and incarcerates so many of us ??

I think its important to educate each other on our rights. Because then we have the knowledge on what not to say in a therapy session so we dont get incarcerated or what to do when we are questioned by cops/psychs to see if we are 'at risk' or what to do when we or friends of us are already incarcerated so they can get out of there as fast as possible. Also educating your friends/family on psychiatric propaganda helps - a common myth is that if you dont 'look for signs' and call the cops to institutionalize a friend they might kill themselves. All while institutionalization/incarceration increases the risk of suicide extremely. This is important to know so no one in our communities calls the cops on us when we're doing really bad. Also educating each other on the biomedical model so everyone understands that we dont have an illness that we need to be 'saved from' (depression for example) or 'punished for' (aspd, drug addiction) and that we (=our minds/brains) arent to blame for our struggles Etc.

If you know that youre sometimes in extreme mental distress/pain you could also make a crisis plan with friends so you dont need to rely on the psych system - like for example the plan could be that a friend calls in sick for work/university and then stays at your place for 3-4days and is there for you/drinks tea w you, goes for a walk together w you, smokes a joint with you together until you feel better and arent acutely suicidal anymore. (Its also best to include several people in this plan bc it can get really overwhelming for 1 person). You can als include things in the plan like asking your friends to take away all knives in your apartment if you want to. Or if its a more permanent 'crisis' then a plan on how to move together with friends to get away from your nuclear family/abusive partner (just as an example).

Access to medication, knowledge on how to get off of them if you dont want to take them anymore and freedom and proper education in your decision on taking, weaning off or on staying on medication is not given in the psych system. So how do we change that? A common reason for 'crisis' is trying to wean off of psychiatric drugs (a lot of people get suicidal or psychotic bc of the withdrawal for example - depends on the meds, dosis and since how long youve been taking them though). You could plan when to do this together w friends. Theres anti psych guidelines on how to do this safely - a lot of psychiatrists tell you that you need to stay on meds no matter if you want to or not and they often dont know how to wean off of them or think youre 'at risk' and incarcerate you if you mention that you want to stop taking your meds -this highly depends on how stigmatizing your diagnosis is (=schizophrenia/bipolar are good examples for highly stigmatized ones) or if youre sb who get racialized for example (bc then psychs immediatly perceive you as more of 'a risk'). You could make a plan for example where you ask your friends to stay w you through this by living at your apartment w you for a few days, cooking meals for you and keeping your apartment clean. And then another friend of you could come by each day after work (for example) and also be there since its probably a lot for one person. Also LYING to psychiatrists is always a good idea. For example when youre trans and want to access gender affirming care its important not to mention any diagnoses in general but especially diagnoses like autism, schizophrenia, psychosis or PDs and then literally lie about yourself if necessary. You always know who you are and what you need best. Also dont blindly trust your psych on what medications go well together - look it up yourself !!! Theres a 'drug interaction checker' online where you can see if it might be dangerous to take certain meds at the same time. Also READ on what side effects are possible - make a diary for when you start your medication on how youre feeling/doing . Some changes are awful but still hard to notice bc youre thinking that it could also be a 'normal' worsening of your mental state that you think you might also have without meds. Also depending on what physical conditions you have/had you cant take some medications without it being dangerous - READ the whole instruction paper thing that always comes with your meds and/or google it !!

Also literally just sharing/collecting tips on how to cope w different struggles + harm reduction guides (suicidality, drug addiction, ...) is very helpful. There is a lot of community sourced material already out there.

I understand that the reason most people are severely struggling is because they dont have a community (=like when you only have 1 partner or 1 friend ,because youre (still) legal property of your parents, because youre stuck in a nuclear family,...) and not only because psychiatry divides our communities by blaming us for our struggles and isolating and stigmatizing us. Building community and relying on each other is the only way to get rid off the psychiatric system in the end. If we already had a real community that we could rely on, all the psych wards would be empty and therapists wouldnt exist. This is not the first step, its the solution.

Als there are already alternative institutions (that are already in practice) that are a replacement for psychiatry.

This is probably the answer that youre looking for 😂. I dont really care about these kind of anti psych concepts and practices since they seem out of my reach atm. Ik that theres an anti psych house in berlin whos guiding principles are 1)community care /peer support 2)full autonomy for everyone there and its specifically for people who are running away from psychiatric violence.

Other alternatives that I havent really looked into yet are : bethel house , peer respites, new models of therapy

Okay let me just go on a tangent about my feelings about the post-series Luffy separation arc, cause I think it gets way too much hate when it’s such a heartbreaking and well executed deviation from oda’s standard formula!!! I know that we all love monkey d. luffy and he’s LITERALLY the main character of the series, but it was also really nice to get more time to focus on the rest of the crew. But here’s the thing, even when Luffy wasn’t here, he was still here. And I’m not talking about the so called ‘blessings’ or whatever that kept SUSPICIOUSLY popping up around the crew when Luffy disappeared, I’m talking about the consequences that arised from him disappearing. We truly got to see how grand the effect luffy has had on the world around him, and how many lives he was able to touch ; - ; So even though luffy physically wasn’t present (I mean KIND OF but you know what I mean), this was still VERY MUCH a luffy arc imo. 

Oh man but I think Oda wrote luffy’s disappearance so well,,, I was sobbing for like 80 percent of this arc. Like just gradually seeing the crew’s deterioration as time passes by,,, but everyone has such unwavering faith in their captain, he HAS to come back cause Luffy always comes back. But here’s the thing, Luffy didn’t know what was happening to him when he started disappearing. But what he DID know is that he wasn’t sure if he was gonna be able to come back or not. And Luffy hates breaking promises- he’d never make a promise if he didn’t plan to keep it, and he’s not an idiot either, so when he just felt himself disappearing and saw zoro nearby... Instead of saying something like “I’ll be back!” and potentially making his crewmates wait for him forever, he tells zoro to “take care of the crew”... SOBBING AND CRYING T - T. So YES. the crew has unwavering faith in their captain. But. Luffy didnt say that he’d be coming back or anything. So what are they supposed to do really.

And it’s really hard to read at some parts, like it never loses the goofy tone that has been there throughout all of one piece and it’s really sweet to see everyone rely on each other to keep one another afloat, but the slight tension that keeps building up over the months while they keep looking for clues and answers... And how each lead keeps becoming a dead end... When it builds up and Usopp finally voices the thing that’s on everyone’s mind.

Oh man. I started crying so hard. It took 6 month for any one of them to say something. Like this is One piece. Of course Luffy is gonna come back eventually, it would be waay too dark otherwise... But Idk man, even I started to doubt that :((( But luckily. THIS IS ONE PIECE. So right after everyone started,,, well not exactly losing hope or anything (maybe a bit)? but going BATSHIT INSANE FROM THE REALITY THAT THEIR CAPTAIN MIGHT BE GONE FOR GOOD, they finally got a solid actual clue of what might’ve happened to luffy!!! And I’m SO GLADDDD!!!!

Omg and when they tracked down the pray-pray no mi user and finally got some answers out of him. OMG WAIT A MOMENT I REALLY LIKED IS WHEN PRIEST GUY IS LIKE “urerheg without luffy up there as a god the entire world may very well be destroyed cause the sun has been super unstable for centuries blah blah” and then Nami freaking PUMMELED THE GUY AND SHOVED HIM DOWN WITH HER STAFF AND

SOBBING CRYING SOBBING. THEY WOULD POTENTIALLY BLOW UP THE ENTIRE WORLD IF IT MEANT THAT THEIR CAPTAIN WOULDNT HAVE TO BE LONELY ; - ; KILL ME.

URGH I was really hoping that Luffy would return right once they beat him up cause I really really missed my boy, but honestly I think the final method of getting Luffy to return was super clever and absolutely worth the extra 3 weeks of waiting!!! I know that it was foreshadowed across the whole West Blue Saga and everything but I honestly had no clue it would end like that, DONT MAKE FUN OF ME :(((

When the crew finally got their captain back after 8 months of waiting... I mean they’ve been separated before for even longer periods of time, but they always knew that they’d be back together. This time they didn’t know. BUT AREHAHRGE ALL THE PAIN AND SUFFERING WAS SO WORTHIT WHEN THEY ALL FINALLY REUNITED T - T!!!!!! UWAHHWHAHWUAAGGHA!!! AND SEEING ALL THEIR ALLIES AND FRIENDS THEYVE MADE JUST CHEER AND CRY WHEN THEY HEAR THE NEWS!!!! he spent his whole shower standing there backtracking all his steps, from when he woke up to when he got home. after he got out he proceeded to stay in the bathroom and sit there for 25 minutes and 19 seconds scrolling through your messages to see if he had said something wrong trying to find a mood change for him to have to come home to a pouty partner. after finding nothing he sighed coming out of the bathroom and joins you for dinner. the dinner is silent, your peacefully eating but he pokes at his food not being able to get your sulky face out of his mind. he puts his fork down before looking at you “please tell me what i did” he said plainly trying to mask the fact that hes going to explode. you look at him and tilt your head confused, he picks up on your body language and speaks up again “i dont like seeing you pout, especially if it was something i did, did someone do something did i do something?”. he sees your face change when you realize what he was talking about “you never would believe what my mom did to me today…” you continued

Im guessing this is rooted from the moment where he asked about the women and children 😭 which is odd, because he literally said "it'll be a massacre!" right after... he had murderous intent, not lust. Or maybe women and children taste better!

I know if you look at my masterlist you'll see a couple of dubcon fics and its true i like dabbling into dark content with sukuna quite often, but canonically speaking, sukuna has never been portrayed as an inherently sexual individual.

He is quite the opposite in fact, he is a complete nerd for jujutsu, he values strength above all and i just don't see him being interested in raping someone...? Though i understand him committing atrocities and believing that the "weak" deserve to endure their own suffering has kind of led to people getting the idea that he wouldn't be opposed against raping someone but i really disagree with this idea

He has shown time and time again that he is completely uninterested in weak people, in fact, he doesn't even give them the time of his day - most of sukuna's victims have been killed off quite quickly and without him paying much attention to them at all, he simply doesn't care about those who don't match his bare minimum expectations.

And those that he does end up liking to some degree, people who have the power to give him a somewhat worthy fight, he does respect them in his own way, which is indicated by him learning their full name and being more responsive and engaged when he's fighting them. When he was fighting yorozu, she asked him to "wait!" even after they had started fighting, and i found it interesting that he actually stopped and heard her out before continuing the fight. Additionally we can see from uraume's relationship with him, he is also not keen to abuse them at all, in fact he is quite chill with them??

If sukuna is uninterested, he does not even bother looking at them twice. When he is interested in someone, he has shown he maintains a level of respect for them. In my opinion, it doesn't matter whether this interest is romantic or platonic, i think one can depict a lot about the other...

I definitely don't think he doesn't rape because he thinks its morally wrong or whatever, i feel like he just 1) lacks an inherent desire for sex (he is more infatuated with a person's strength and jujutsu) 2) he doesn't go out of his way to torment those weaker than him, he is just that disinterested in weak people 3) to people that he ends up liking to some extent, he respects.

Sukuna is a very sexualised character (i dont hate it, in fact i love it a lot 😍) which i think makes him more prone to easy misunderstandings that he is sexually impulsive as well, but gege has shown us its really not the case! (Yorozu came over with her whole pumpum out and he did not bat an eyelash)

Please take anything i say here with a grain of salt, i am obviously not gege akutami so i wouldnt dare to say i know sukuna inside and out, but this is just my honest thoughts on this question!

I won't completely rule out the idea that he may be a rapist, gege hasn't portrayed his past, we barely know anything about sukuna personally- but judging from what we already have canonically, i don't think he would be a rapist.

I know that in fanfics, almost anything is game and i really enjoy viewing sukuna from all kinds of angles and perspectives, i truly believe he is such an interesting and appealing character, i could also write up a whole essay about how flexible he is to write with, but this is already quite a lengthy response to a simple question so i will leave it here 😭

The entire yumi-kiryu-nishiki thing in the end of kiwami makes no sense to me at all and makes me want to gag.... and RGG fumbled kiryu and nishikis story hardcore, so much in fact that they REDID it in LAD7 between Ichiban and Masato. The way Nishikis story is literally about Kazama and Yuko but they dont acknowledge it at all is insane to me. His inability to live up to kiryu, and his failures in protecting his sister… like rlly we just went no where with those plot points? His driving forces? I feel its barely touched on.

It's interesting that Nishiki himself doesnt view kazama personally at all (thati know of)(in game at least) if he so strongly feels that kiryu is his better half than why doesnt he feel any way towards kazama? At most kazama is just an obstacle in his way towards the seat of chairman. Yet kazama himself feels like hes a guidance figure for nishiki?!?! In yakuza 0 nishiki tells kiryu that he doesnt have to do any of the stuff that hes doing to appease kazama, that hes fine being himself and that he doesnt owe kazama anything. It’s interesting that he clearly doesnt feel the debt that kiryu does.

The only real scenes we get with kazama and nishiki are in the Tojo headquarters. Where nishiki and shimano expose the missing 10 billion. Where kazama looks at nishiki in scorn and nishiki stares back, smug? It feels almost playful. Cheeky even. Later, nishiki attempts to snipe kazama. He describes the experience as his hands couldnt stop shaking, because he knew deep down it was wrong? Because he held some sort of affection for him?

I dont think so. I think it was thrilling. That he wanted to and always had wanted to. I always liked to think that Nishiki found out what the orphanage really was. A place where kazama dumped his guilt. This is more headcanon territory but i like to think that nishikis family was wealthy and comfortable. I think part of his greed stems from feeling like he deserves it. Maybe he does in a way. But i think finding out about the blood on kazamas hands just made him think of kiryu. How kiryu called that man his father. The man that killed his birth parents. And yk what? I think what bothered him the most that he knew kiryu wouldnt have even cared. That it would always be kazama, above all else.

Who did kiryu care about more than anything else? Who was he putting above everyone? Even himself?

All of your Y/Ns have such unique personalities, so thoughtfully fleshed out into their own characters. It makes it so fun to think of these different scenarios. Meanwhile, poor Cryptid Hunter Y/N is going all out in the hunt for this deadly siren that's killed one too many humans, and geared with their harpoon, noise-canceling headphones, and a special desire to stop the scary thing, they battle with Eclipse. He's more intrigued by them than by him at first—they can't trust a cryptid, but Eclipse finds them amusing while trying to snatch their ankle and pull them into the frozen water.

Then he finds them cute, then... Well, he can't lure them to him with a song, but he has other charms, and once they're close enough, he'll rip that cursed device off their head and sing them a song they can't resist.

on simple words: Ochako falling in love with Izuku is part of her and Himiko's arc, but not Izuku's. Katsuki's arc revolves around accepting, along other things, Izuku, and this gives Izuku a different kind of support and future which impacts his arc greatly (the apology, wanting to chase each other forever, leading the suit project).

With this I dont mean Ochako doesnt impacto Izuku's character, she does it greatly and she's his hero, but those things didn't happen because of her accepting she fell in love with him -she is like that, a hero at heart, from the very beginning. Katsuki needed to learn to accept him, and because of that he gains strength to help him and be by his side.

Ochako's acceptance of her love isn't meant to create a new relationship with Izuku, but with herself and the way she treats any scary/bad emotion, denying it to herself, an internal conflict.

Katsuki's acceptance of Izuku is literally meant to bring them closer and create a new relationship together, he is still a bratty asshole at 25 but he is able to accept his own vulnerability and work thru it while keeping in mind how Izuku is chasing him(he's chasing Izuku.

Ochako and Katsuki's feelings for Izuku, accepting them, helps them to be better heroes and take inspiration, admiring him and expressing it in the ways they can. The difference, beyond love being textual in her case and not in his, is how Ochako doesn't need to be in a new relationship with Deku, she already accepts who he is and neither have anything implying there's anything more going on behind closed doors, while Katsuki does -after they became friends, being considered one even before the apology, their relationship keeps evolving creating this feeling of needing to be together, which is why Deku being separated from him during the Final War was a huge bad omen, and the reason behind Katsuki's temporary death. Katsuki has a huge role in Izuku's wellbeing, and he is aware of that responsibility, he can't show that much change between them outside of smaller cracks like the hospital scene.

In conclusion, ill admit Izuku's arc doesnt revolve around anyone like that, around accepting them, bc he as the Japanese hero already accepts everybody and skips his most emotional and vulnerable thoughts that go outside of heroism. We know so much about how others feel about him, I cant help but believe its on purpose -he doesnt want to talk about those things, so he wont describe them or express them in order to keep control of his heart.

We don't know most negative things about his world or the people in it when we are in his POV, and he prefers to make everything have a hopeful and heroic perspective, a Deku point of view if you will. If something is bad and he tell us, is because it will get resolved, something heroic will happen, or theres some hope in it. In his narration, he doesnt focus on who he is as a person, but a hero. A potential hero training, a potential hero with his heroic peers, a potential hero giving saving in non traditional ways (the cultural festival, giving others speeches, etc).

At this point, we know he sees Ochako as his hero who always tries to not need help and will focus on a positive facade without completely believing it like him. While he is similar to both Ochako and Himiko in the way they focus only in the positives, I personally believe Izuku is fully aware of his "bad" and scary feelings and accepts them, but prefers to not reveal that much to the readers so he can still be heroic. That's what his character is about, he is genuinely at peace with losing OFA, or hurting Shigaraki, or not being a hero because he is pure hope. If he loses it, his mind would be gone too, he wouldn't be able to process these things. He helps Ochako because Ochako didnt have hope at that moment, he gave civilians hope, and he tried to give Katsuki hope too.

We don't know what he textually feels about Katsuki. Or his death. Or wanting to be chasing after each other forever.

We don't know, and I can't help but see his acceptance for Katsuki, his silent screams, him losing focus because of his pain, his trust in him, without a single expressed comment or thought about it.

Maybe that's not so heroic for a hero.

ok I've lowkey been going insane so I gotta get this confession out before I immediately get proven wrong within like the next few months

Since the 18th super edition is pretty much confirmed to take place during the StormClan era, I hope Snowtuft reappears as a villain in it, major or otherwise. Him not remembering what he did or why he was in the dark forest could line up with the fact that StormClan had been completely wiped from the modern Clans’ and even STARCLAN’S memory up until VERY recently

The 2 things we know about Snowtuft are that he was once a ShadowClan cat, and that he was power-hungry. What if, after StormClan temporarily left the old forest, Snowtuft and the rest of ShadowClan had tried to take over that large stretch of territory that StormClan had left behind? And then they refused to give said territory up without a fight once StormClan came back? 

Maybe Snowtuft had once been leader, but ended up getting driven out after ThunderClan/WindClan won their territories back and getting his -star suffix revoked (a la Brokentail), hence why he hadn’t faded yet. But im also fine with him just being a regular evil goon or something to whoever ShadowClan’s actual leader at the time was

I don’t know I’m just spitballing. I just really, REALLY want snowtuft to have some relevancy going forward. i don’t care what he does. I don't care if he plays a major role or if he only has the tiniest one-sentence cameo. I just want him to be involved with the StormClan era in literally any capacity . erins PLEASE

learning more about his backstory would just feel really rewarding after the authors remembered him for like 5 seconds in TBC and then unceremoniously killed him offscreen. I’m hoping that was more than a one-and-done deal and was actually meant to set up hype for future material involving him (considering how the the authors said all the way back in 2023 that they had already been plotting the stormclan idea for a year at that point. it wouldnt be THATTTT farfetched to assume that snowtuft's whole "I don't remember my past but I probably sucked" thing was actually subtle foreshadowing) I’m the world’s NUMBER ONE STORMCLAN ERA SNOWTUFT TRUTHER (at least until the super edition actually comes out) idc idc. if I get proven wrong feel free to return to this ask in a year and throw tomatoes at me
