Reread @naffeclipse’s fic Apex Polarity and I simply could not get the thought of meeting Eclipse in a warmer area out of my head. I think it would be funny and leave more opportunities for Eclipse to be “curious” or learn more about human things. Specifically I love the idea of introducing him to pool floateies and I don’t know why

Not to mention I think it would be easier for his courting intentions to be realized sooner, since he can have you around for longer without danger to yourself or raising suspicion. Just a fun idea I think

Happy day, @naffeclipse !! (right click each for better quality fghgdf) Apex Polarity had me in a choke-hold and ough ;o; the ending was so intense and then so lovingly soft, I knew I wanted to draw it as soon as I was done reading. 3 days after starting it, here we go! It got away from me a bit at the end cause it was just meant to be a sketch comic but heehoo Thank you for such a lovely piece of fanfic!! <3 <3

I decided to try and draw @naffeclipse’s orca guy from Apex Polarity I’ve been hearing so much about

I'm currently really sick so I had the thought of how different Eclipse's would react to their Y/N being sick. The most vivid reactions I can imagine are Orca Eclipse thinking his Birdie is dying and Sleuth Jester Eclipse struggling with the vigilante (to give them medicine and soup that they don't trust because why would they trust anything from him).

As for the Eclipses, you're dead right with both! Orca Eclipse would be silently fearful for his birdie because illnesses in the wild are very life-threatening. Birdie explains that it's a cold, and they'll be fine. It's just a little sniffling and coughing and nothing to get worked up over. Eclipse isn't buying it and he's keeping them nice and close to ensure they heal up.

Sleuth Jester Eclipse with a sick vigilante is the world's worst doctor + worst patient combination.

Vigilante, nasally and groggy: Your bedside manners need work, angel eyes. Until then, I'd die before I take medicine from you.

Eclipse, furiously trying to not crush the medicine he's holding in his fist: Sweetheart, you're mistaken if you think I'd let anything kill you but me. Now drink this before I pry your jaws open.

Been thinking about Orclipse… he’s so very forward and grabby, had me on the edge of my seat. Now if THIS guy had four arms… it would be over. @naffeclipse you write a lovely eclipse in every iteration of him <333 shaking you around <33 please go read Apex Polarity it is delightful.

As you take a much need rest after going through so much danger within the facility, Eclipse begins to think about you. How at first he only thought of you as another expendable the Urbanshade executives sent down to their doom for a deadly task… Now, seeing you willingly sleep on his tail, so vulnerable yet trusting him despite your initial fear of him and himself giving his coat to blanket you…

It’s the moment his curiosity towards you turns to something deeper.

@naffeclipse I am beside myself with obsession over Apex Polarity. Over the past two days I’ve reread chapter 11 five times only to start the whole fic over from scratch and choke out two fanarts besides.

Your writing…I’m literally speechless. The intensity in which you write Orca!Eclipse and his obsessive tendencies tickles my brain in a way that no other piece of media has tickled before. I’m low key worried I’ll never read anything that good ever again because I’m just so obsessed.

I drew another piece first that’s a bit of a spoiler for the most recent chapter (as of now) that I’m less satisfied with but I’ll put under the cut as well as some closeups from this first piece.

I strive to write as well as you, I’m going to be vibrating with excitement until the next chapter unless I rocket into the sun first.
