Ah see. I've actually already tried that before. It didn't last long because it didn't seem to be working.

I've come to terms with the fact that there's just gonna be idiots who won't look into it before they ask. It doesn't bother me as much anymore that means I get to make memes about them and laugh at their stupidity.

If I'm lucky I'll give someone a snapshot into what it's like being a fanartist who got recognized for the one thing they don't make anymore.

Saw a really cool animatic and the visuals really inspired me.

Decided to take a stab at the whole thing for one of the pokepastas i dont talk about often because he doesn't have an actual written story for people to read. but just know this is very much like- fucked up angel symbolism, with an intense desire to be human over what you were made to be.

You can tell my consumtion of magical girl media is affecting what im drawing bc- this character isnt even a magical girl. I just wanted to draw them being more fem, so i had them magically change to a girl instead of just drawing them fem. For no reason.

OK so, just curious, what's the lore behind ExSouls!BB and ExSouls!Armaros?

Exsouls Armaros is exceedingly egotistical. As an angel- he was assigned the very important job of figuring out why Funkcity was basically rotting away from the inside (Daddy Dearest had basically turned the city into his own personal hellscape realm) and this made him think he was super important- like, "WOW big task for me? You must trust me a whoooole lot- I must be like super strong and cool right?" That kindof mindset.

Except he gets down there and basically assumes the reason DD is doing all this is because of GF, his "daughter". He's not fully wrong- DD was doing it to manipulate GF into relying on him but regardless, HE was the one causing this, HE should have been Armaros' target. But Armaros thought he knew better, thought he was better, and aimed for GF instead. Obviously this leads to the fabled BB sacrificing himself to save GF for BF- getting shot by Armaros instead. Armaros FALLS/Gets cast out of heaven for his sin of pride- and then launches into his revenge scheme to those who caused his downfall.

Only to find out, that DD brought back BB- Here's the thing though. In Exsouls, DD is huge a manipulative asshole- when he brings BB back, it's at the point on the timeline where BF and GF are dating but she doesn't know that he's been killing all her Ex's yet- so he still has to play nice infront of her. So he agrees to bring BB back so he doesn't owe BF anything like in canon- but isn't NEARLY as gentle with BBs Soul as Canon DD was- resulting in BB coming back as a very frail, sickly, and rather demonic shadow of himself. He's still BB, but moving, seeing, breathing, it's all extremely hard for him, but he's revived like DD said he would. (This display of demonic reserection/helping passes on souls, is what inspires GF to make a deal with Tabi, Garcello, and Senpai down the road.)

So Armaros, driven by revenge, shows up at BFs and GFs apartment- only to find BB there, in the sorry state he's now in. He finds himself unable to take his revenge out on someone so pathetically scarred- someone who's scars are technically Armaros' own fault. So his revenge plot shifts gears- he starts taking care of and protecting BB, and in return realizes how wrong he was for targeting GF.

It takes him a LONG time to ever admit he was wrong- afterall he is a prideful egotistical pompous asshole, but he does do it eventually. Till then he makes up for it with acts of service for BB. Who is constantly defending him from his brothers harsh glares for killing him in the first place because he's such a sweet and kind soul. <3

It's also important to note that they WERE using sketchy buisness practices though.

I doubt they paid their employees very much- and given the state of Miss Delight after what looked like years of being locked in the school- maybe they don't need to eat? But just feel compelled too by their hunger?

If they can live without food- its likely they never even fed them-

Unless one of the employees got locked in with them- like that guy with the prototype, or anyone of the adults mommy assaulted, or all the nosey employees boxyboo ate-

This might be a silly question, but what do Angel and the family of saved toys he’s putting together eat to survive? Do they just find old vending machines in the factory, or do they eat the same…disturbing stuff Poppy mentions they ate to survive after the hour of joy below the factory towards the end of chapter 3 in the game?

While Angel is in the factory, the toys try to avoid eating around him out of fear that he'll finally grow wise and reject them and be afraid of them if he found out they ate human flesh and other toys. (This isn't a problem, he's really only in the factory for a week at most.)

Obviously, this doesn't work once they're free - he quickly finds out, and instead of immediately judging them, he tries to ween them off of human flesh by giving them other various meat products and other food. Because he understands that given their environment and that most of them are CHILDREN, he knows they don't know any better.

SPAM apparently tastes a whole lot like human flesh, I'm told. As well as Pork and Horse.

It might depend on their individual personality- the real kicker on the whole "the toys are murderous monsters who eat human flesh" thing is that there is actually vending machines in the game- full of snack food.

Thus meaning...the toys picked cannibalizing each other, before they even attempted breaking into the machines for non-cannibal food? Catnap is big/strong enough to lift people with ease- you're telling me the bigger bodies couldn't easily break into vending machines???

That to me reads as "We were not raised to eat regular food- we either CANT or WONT for one reason or another."

In my au I choose to make it a taught and bodily expected thing- they were kids, taught to live off human flesh, so not only do they not know any better, but their bodies thus come to expect it from that given diet- eating anything else in large portions might make them sick.

I think the taste of other food (candy, baked goods, ect) is enough to convince them to TRY Angel's food. Which makes him happy- which makes THEM happy. But they've still gotta build up a larger tolerance to it over time.
