question: about your lovecore aus- is the thing that makes them gain the aesthetic (what mono interacted with/v-mix’s virus) the same, like different manifestations of one thing, or are they different scenarios that happened to become lovecore independently of each other? i hope that makes sense- ; u ;)

I suppose you can think of them as different manifestations of the same "thing", yes- but not in a way that matters or makes them connect in any significance to the stories they're made for.

Afterall it's really that the Virus that becomes Mono and Val, and the virus that infects V-mix and is obsessed with prolonging its life and remaking the world in it's image- the thing that infects all my love core aus....well...

They're all me aren't they? It's all my doing.

The actual fish isn't pink so I'd rather base Val's siren form off the pokemon, I know the pokemon is based on the fish- but it's like. A sad gray. No thanks.

Another question regarding borrowers, can a borrower have more then one talent or is it only one?

As mentioned in the Tiny Tails Infographic about Pip Makings and the one about Tiny Tail Societal Structures -

Borrowers in Tiny Tails reproduce asexually by funneling TALENT they've gathered over the course of their life, into the body they crafted to become their new Pip.

This of course means that Borrower Reproduction tends to come out very linearly, borrowers with the Strength TALENT only have Strength to give their pip obviously, they can't just manifest Empathy talent out of nowhere.

But that isn't always the case.

If a borrower is lucky enough to have the privilege of living in a den among other borrowers- often they will want to have their pips WITH those other individuals. This is ultimately safer for the pips- as then the TALENT it can draw from to come to life is increased. And just like with one parent, the Pip takes after the TALENTS available to them (Not even limited to two btw). Pips with multiple talents are referred to as "Jacks" by the borrower community- similar to a kid being mixed ethnicities.

Having more than one talent doesn't make you eligible for two roles in your community however- a Pip with both Empathy and Vision can become a Craftie or a Tamer- not both- and will often become the one that they have grown more TALENT with over the years.

It's also worth mentioning that the TALENT being split like this directly effects how a borrower can perform certain skills. Say you had three Pips that were born around the same time. One has only Vision TALENT from his parent, another only has Bravery, and the last one is a Jack with half of both TALENTs. Then you had them compete in a crafting competition.

This is what their scores would look like- even though a Jack can't beat a Pip with more Vision TALENT than it- having the TALENT at all makes them better at that task than a Pip who doesn't have it at all.

Are borrowers only rodents? I've been considering making a reptilian borrower self-insert/oc but I'm pretty sure that won't work.

It's not really that borrowers are rodents- so much as the way I made the story for Tiny Tails. I didn't want them to be completely overpowered. Flying, swimming, and poisonous borrowers sort of just don't really feel all that fun to me- its overcomplicated and ruins the vibes of my "small creature that can BARELY defend itself." story.

So I started limiting my Tiny Tail Borrowers to only small mammalian creatures- so mostly rodents, but also lagomorphs, and whatever the fuck raccoons and armadillos fall into.

That being said i also don't like limiting creativity so reptilian and other animal features can be added to your Tiny Tail's borrowers- like Bait's fish bones- but most likely as cosmetics from a carrier spell, or tools or paints or even snake skin used in the clothes.

That girlfriend one is my laptop lockscreen and my background is the bf one. My Phone lockscreen changes all the time so it's anyone's guess what it was when I found the post but what's 1 more partner in my 100+ Bf and Gf polycule LOL.

Could you explain your Cronus rewrite? I am rather interested in what you changed about him.

I complain constantly to my friends about how I feel like the dancestors were underutalized. Made by Hussie just to make fun of his fans on tumblr- which i get because they were insufferable years ago- but also- upsets me NOW because Cronus had a very interesting quirk about him that i WISH had been the pivotal point of his whole character. (It was part of his character but....not nearly enough- it almost felt like he was using it as an excuse to be an asshole and i wish it didn't do that)

He wanted. To be. HUMAN.

I can't honestly say that I know of another character that wants to be human- I know a lot that are interested in humans, but Cronus wanting to be a human greaser is so unique and so fun when you stop and think about it.

My rewrite of him would focus heavily on that. He wants to be a human- he wears a hat to hide his fins- doesn't like taking his shirt off because it shows his gills (Infact he flat out lies when the descendants and humans meet him in the bubble about what his blood color and species is)- Contemplates sawing his own horns off daily but has too much self preservation and fear so he covers them in cheap costume jewelry to pretend like they're fake- paints himself white and doesn't know how to seal the paint he's so CRINGE- He calls everyone baby or babe or dollface not because he's genuinely flirting but just cause that's the kind of human greaser movies he watched, like mf just thinks that's part of being human.

Overall i wanted him to be written more obsessive human kinny nerd who doesn't know how to talk to people so they put up a fake confident personality to front, and less....ya know......(gestures at the scene with him and mituna. you know the one.)

Spot is the character I made to play in a minecraft FNaF series by Flipside Production's!

I don't wanna spoil too much about them out of the series, but lemmeee thiiink....

Spot is a prototype dog animatronic made by the Faz company to entertain wallflower children. It was made to sense children who wandered off- and go to them to play games. Due to many factors- it wasn't actually finished so the only game it can play is 21 questions. (Also it's built REALLY funny, just a bare minimum exoskeleton with a plushie around it. It was meant to look cute.)

FUN FACT ABOUT BORROWERS FROM MY TINY TAILS UNIVERSE:

Borrowers of the hedgehog subcategory are very prone to becoming Fightiers, due to the thick density of their fur creating natural spiked armor. Somewhere along the way, borrowers of strength talent must have noticed this and continued to pass it onto their pips. This also leads to them growing out their fur unintentionally because it's VERY hard to cut. ^^;
