For the 1st time in my 28 years of life, I am romantically interested in someone and they're interested in me too 🧍‍♀️ like this is the first time the feeling is mutual and I'm not gonna lie, in the past month that was all I could think abt (hence the my disappearance) LMAO

I genuinely........ could not focus on anything else besides the giddy feeling in my belly, and I've been going through all those silly cliche tropes I like writing about. And it's fun!!! But also??? Tiring AS FUCK. No one told me this shit was so fucking DRAINING. But yeah I'm okay, I'm alive, I still haven't read the new chapter but expect my live reactions Soon™️

I hope I manage to fucking FOCUS on something soon so I can go back to my usual activities and since things are finally starting to settle, maybe I'll get back to writing and engaging with the fandom WHICH I MISS SO FUCKING MUCH!!!!!!!!! Starting off strong (and the main reason of this post tbh): BLOOMING PANIC

10000/10 GAME‼️‼️‼️ i wish i could erase my memory and replay it over and over again, it is THAT good!!!!!!! GOD. The only thing i have to complain about is how short it is ;-; i wish this game lasted for, idk, an eternity. Romance and plot aside, what i loved the most about this game is how well written it is!!! The script is simply immaculate. In a lot of vn, at some point, the script can get very a little cringy, but in this case i never felt cringe at all hgsjsgs Like, the way the devs/writters made the silly interactions feel SO real and genuine but not cringy/embarrassing while still maintaining that unserious vibes? And the serious parts too, the tension and concerns didn't feel exagerated or dumb.. such great writting..Ugh, exactly my cup of tea. Also, it's rare for me to actually like all LIs on dating sims, but oh boy, i LOVED every single one here 😭 they all got me giggling and kicking my feetsies its insane !! even when i have a clear favorite cough cough i'll get to that later. But anyways, enough rambling, if anyone reading this post is into vn and haven't played bp yet, DO IT NOW 🫵 i recommend doing all routes, going through ALL choices, and getting all endings (yes, even the bad ones tho im not subjecting myself into replaying those ever again cause they're too devastating...), its all so worthy <3

After playing bp, i found out the same creator made another game with a similar vibe, so i tried it out! --> SeekL

SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! I actually really enjoyed the whole coding system/gameplay. And, for someone who doesn't know a thing about coding, it was pretty easy to solve everything without guides! Plot wise might be a bit more darkerish..???than bp, but not really ig? Can't really explain it without spoiling lol but it's so 🫂❤️‍🩹

To my surprise, i could immediately recognize the LI's voice the second i got the first call hhgdjdhdh had a strong "everything reminds me of him🚬" moment......

But yeah!! Highly recommend it!! Unfortunately, i don't have any ss for this one since i was waaay to into the coding thing that when i realized it, it was already the ending LOL but uhhh *insert balcony CG iykyk*

Following the chatism?vns, if you've played the ones i mentioned before and want more with that same vibe, im sure you're gonna like CUPID'S CHATROOM

VERY CUTESY!!!! Also funny interactions between the characters (tho imo its quite cheesy LOL) hgdhdh definitely similar vibes to bp. So, again, if you're into that, you'll most likely gonna like this one as well!

OHHH IM EXCITED FOR THIS ONE!!! it was very fun to play, but i did feel the demo was too short (in comparison to the other ones i've played so far). I'm intrigued!! Nothing too out of this world, feels like your typical vn/dating sim, but that's exactly why i got hooked lol I really enjoyed the way we got introduced to all the LI's (since i have awful attention span LMAO)

I'm VIBRATING at the thought of getting to know these two bbgs......

OHHHH KEYFRAMES THE GAME THAT YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!! Last one i've played (and technically still playing) and let me tell you.... this game is INSANELY GOOD 😭

The amount of HOURS i've spent playing and i still have two more routes to go through??? There's WAYYY too many options to choose, which some then lead to NEW CHOICES AND INTERACTIONS??? And not to mention that you get even DIFFERENT dialogues depending on the personality type you get at the beginning of the game.... like..wow. they truly weren't joking about the variety of options.....

I'm deadass, i keep replaying the game, switching up answers all the time, and i keep getting new dialogues i haven't gotten in previous runs 😭 its crazy good....

And the best part of it is how much i like the characters! Makes me want to be their friend sooo bad🫂

You're supposed to romance someone yes, but you also have the options of basically strengthening your friendships, and i absolutely adore that. It makes you want to pursue your crush, while at the same time want to not leave your friends on the side and also get to know the other LIs.... ughh.. keyframes <3

My favorite part of the game tho? Me, minding my business, when suddenly i see on my screen:

Why are you so mad at itch io? They didn't have a choice they had to comply with visa and master card or shut down we should be mad at them not itch io.

I shall re-state something I said to someone on BlueSky about similar statements being shared around there.

Yes. Collective Shout and Visa/Mastercard are the real problem here. These are the groups you should be the most angry at. They caused this to happen, with CS claiming it only took 1000 letters to do so (which, you know, if that's all it took... imagine if just 2000 super pissed off people called, emailed, and sent in physical letters about not liking this change for the next week).

Itch.io legitimately did not have a choice when it came to removing certan games and, it seems, hiding everything NSFW temporarially. HOWEVER.

They absolutely had a choice in how they went about it, and there is no excuse for them to have done so in the way they did it.

They could have taken literally any other route. They did not have to do this in the middle of the night with no annoucement for 4-5 hours. They did not have to update their TOS and then remove games for breaking a TOS no one knew was updated (they could have been much clearer here). They did not have to remove games people PAID FOR from their LIBRARY.

And they did not need to have a blanket ban for nsfw work THAT IS NOT PORNOGRAPHY. Many of the games, books, etc that were removed? Were not pornographic.

They were marked adult for sensitive subjects. Like an award winning game based on the developer's past WITH AN EATING DISORDER. The game was not nsfw, it was marked as adult due to the subject matter of the game. And it has been removed wholesale from Itch.io. Many LGBTQIA+ games that were not pornographic? Also gone! Shocker!

Itch.io also did not have to blatantly lie about not allowiing devs to recieve their payment for removed games that already had been sold. Multiple devs cannot get their rightfully earned money, this is a documented fact.

So yes. I am angry at Itch.io. I do not blame anyone else for being mad at Itch.io. They could have handled this in any other way that did not involve silently going scorched earth and punishing everyone who made even remotely provacative non-pornographic adult oriented work. People can be mad at Collective Shout/Visa/Mastercard for what happened and ALSO at Itch.io seperately for how they handled it at the same time.

And just know. The fact they removed non-pornograhic adult oriented material?

Was absolutely what Collective Shout wanted in the future.

Itch.io gave them the easiest win for the next step in their goals, considering the group wants games Grand Theft Auto and Detroit: Become Human banned. Itch.io only needed to remove speciific NSFW games, as indicated by them saying they will allow more NSFW games with specific restriictions once they work some things out, but they just banned content like those games willingly.

Be mad at all of them.
