Theory here!
Needletail, Sleekwhisker, Juniperclaw, Strikestone, Beenose, and Yarrowleaf were the fellow apprentices who defied the rules in AVoS.
Needlepaw, Sleekpaw, and Juniperpaw betrayed their Clan and went to live with the Kin. Then Beenose did the same, taking Cloverfoot and Berryheart with her.
Both departures occurred before Darktail took over ShadowClan, meaning they voluntarily abandoned their Clan for a band of rogues. That's treason.
Then Sleekwhisker and Yarrowleaf voluntarily fled with the rest of the Kin after Darktail's death.
Needletail, Juniperclaw, and Beenose drowned.
Drowning was Darktail's exact method of murder!
Three of the cats who followed him died that way? Is it a coincidence?
It would be cool to see Sleekwhisker and Yarrowleaf drown too! As a form of cursed punishment for their past treason.
And Strikestone, who was precisely the only apprentice who didn't join Darktail before he took control over ShadowClan, nor flee with the rogues after his defeat, died in battle, not by drowning!
Perhaps it was fate or StarClan's way of punishing them for abandoning their Clan and being responsible for ShadowClan's fall! And the only one who didn't betray his Clan, wasn't punished!
I hope Sleekwhisker and Yarrowleaf drown!

I like the idea of Tornear being called Tornkit as a kit as a reflection of how his mother felt after his father's death. Or Shrewkit after Shrewclaw.

I absolutely despise it when people pretend Spottedleaf’s Heart didn’t exist.
I know there is zero malice behind it, but it just has always troubled me as a victim who went through a similar experience. I personally believe one is allowed to like Thistleclaw pre-SpH and even if they don’t know it exists but disregarding the whole entire book has just always set me… off.
Spottedleaf’s Heart was written very poorly, no questions there. But just if it was addressed correctly… That is something we NEED to be teaching to younger readers. Things to look out for, who to go to. So pretending it just suddenly vanished from canon has always told me “I don’t want this very bad thing to be true because it’s bad.”
I get people who disregard the book but I think that if it was just written how it should have been written, or at the bare minimum made her leave BECAUSE of the relationship’s context itself and not for the reason provided… then I feel it would’ve been so much better than it was.
TL;DR: Spottedleaf’s Heart is allowed to be canon, it just was written badly. It should not be an excuse to ignore it, it should be a sign for the community to band together and make something better off of it.

Warrior Cats is still the only goddamn book series I have ever finished and I'm sitting here trying to be an author sweating hoping no one will ask me what books I like to read because its only Warrior Cats and that was nearly 15 years ago

I've started rereading The Power of Three and I didn't really realize how in depth they made a lot of the background characters, like Birchfall, I've noticed, is made out to be very self-proclaimed important, with one of the pov characters, I forgot which, say that he was acting very experienced and wise, despite him only being an apprentice a few moons ago. They gave them personality! I just really like this arc too...

How the heck are people thinking that Breezepelt is slightly older than Lion, Jay, and Holly? He is SLIGHTLY YOUNGER than them by like, 1 moon.

The kin of your kin prophecy would’ve been far more interesting if Brightheart was involved. She of kin of Cloudtail after all.

People need to start sharing their off the wall headcanons more. Give me the stuff that makes zero sense and that you pull out of nothing because you enjoy it.
For example, I headcanon that Echosong is a first generation descendant of the Sisters, just like Rootspring and Needleclaw. And like Rootspring and Needleclaw, she has a brother, but unlike them, it was her who got the ghost sight. That’s how she was led to SkyClan in the first place.

I love scrolling through this blog because someone will mention a character and i’m like “who…who is that?” And its fun to try and figure it out. Anyway everyone in the series except for the main characters are forgettable

asc was so bad I've written the series off, i expect nothing interesting from now until it ends. frostpaw was everyones favorite and the supposed most interesting in the arc but i thought she was as bland and featureless as the other two, just involved in the note interesting plot. i couldn't tell you anything about frostpaw, sunbeam, or nightheart. i thought splashtail taking over had potential but was executed without even a hint of the poise of tigerstar and his motivation was stupid at best. the plot was so paper thin and I'm always just kind of surprised to see that people enjoyed anything about it. it was so skippable

It drives me insane when people say Hollyleaf killed Ashfur for "no reason" bc she reveals the truth at a gathering... she killed Ashfur BEFORE she knew who her parents were, they just knew it WASN'T Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw.

while the context is pretty bad (i dont even remember what book that was), but i just cant get over the 'x only crime was loving too much'. right after describing someone committing actual atrocities. it will literally never not be hilarious. i love quoting it.

I get why part of the fandom didn't want Frostdawn to become leader after everything she's been trough, but at the same time I think it would have been nice for once to have a she-cat POV in the main series get an arc about leadership.
Like so far the only main series POVs who have had this type of character arc are all toms (Firestar, Brambleclaw, Clear sky, Thunder). Toms who didn't get this type of character arc still covered, in one way or another, leadership positions. Lionblaze and Gray wing both became deputies at some point in their life. Jayfeather, Alderheart and Shadowsight are medicine cats a role that, despite what the books might want us to believe, is also a pretty important.
So far Rootspring and Nightheart are the only male characters that didn't have any leadership position and it wouldn't surprise if this decision had to do with the fact that they are still young and have only been around for 2-3 arcs.
Meanwhile, before ASC, the highest ranking position given to a female main character was deputy with Squirrelstar and Bristlefrost being the only two female character to get that role. I know ASC also gave us Ivypool deputy and Squirrelstar, but even there their character arcs aren't centered around leadership.
Squirrelstar not being the Three real mother and having lied to her mate and clan to help her sister was the main focus of her character arc. Ivypool got a SE, right after she was nominated deputy, yet said SE main focus was her grieving the death of her daughter. It also feels extremily odd to me that in CS, the first ever warrior cat arc to give us a female POV with a leader position, said female character arc was about realizing she was getting to old to keep her position of leader and instead had to leave her role to a younger tom.
Again I understand why people wouldn't have liked it, but I also wish female characters in warriors could get more important and that their role wouldn't always be so centered around being a mother or a wife

ngl I feel bad that Hollyleaf had little to none participation during ASC. Altough yeah i'm glad she's resting in Starclan but i can't help but feel that she was suspicious of Ashfur during Squirrelflight's Hope.
Besides, If I found out that the man i killed because he tried to mess with my loved ones was still up to bs I would've kicked his ass twice idgaf u_u
