(a low-effort, self-indulgent post about 141 x sunshine reader with a love for flowers <3)
Moving to a military town had been a gamble. You weren’t military, had no family in the service, and you had no real reason to pick this particular place other than the fact that it was safe, stable, and quiet. The houses were affordable, the people were friendly enough, and you figured you could make a home here. Besides, you were far enough from the base to avoid their early morning drills but close enough to still feel secure.
And it was nice. Really, it was.
The town had its charm. It was small, orderly, and filled with people who were either part of the military or had long grown used to living in the shadow of it.
You just hadn’t expected it to be so… plain.
Everything was muted, designed for practicality rather than beauty. Row after row of beige houses, identical porches, yards that were neat but uninspired. It felt more like a barracks than a town, and you knew you wouldn’t last long surrounded by such monotony.
So, you changed it.
Within a week of moving in, your porch was transformed into a floral wonderland. Ivy and jasmine vines trailed along the railings, hanging baskets, overflowed with cascading petunias, swung from the beams, and the front steps were lined with carefully arranged potted blooms. Roses, marigolds, lavender- anything that could inject some color and life into the dull uniformity of the street.
And the town noticed.
It started small- passersby slowing down, lingering in front of your house, knocking to ask if they can take pictures. Then came the comments at the local market.
“Did you see the new house on [] Street? The one covered in flowers?”
“I thought I was dreaming- looked like something out of a storybook!”
“Oh, that’s her place. She’s always out there, tending to them. Such a sweet thing, always smiling.”
And then came the soldiers.
One morning, while you were watering your newest additions- lilies this time- a group of soldiers on their way to base slowed in front of your house. Their conversation died off, replaced by muttered confusion.
“Didn’t know we had a damn botanical garden in town.” One of them said, adjusting the strap of his gear bag.
“Are those-” Another squinted at your newest arrangement. “Does she change them?”
“She does,” a woman in the group confirmed; you had seen her before, you were sure. “Saw her planting new ones last week. Honestly, it’s nice.”
You smiled to yourself, pretending not to notice as they carried on their way.
But it didn’t stop there.
Another soldier stopped during his run, hands on his hips as he took in your porch. “Hell of a setup.” He commented, glancing at you.
“Thank you!” You beamed, wiping your dirt-streaked hands on your shorts. “Wouldn’t want the town looking too drab, now would we?”
His lips twitched. “Well, you’re succeeding.”
More and more soldiers began to take notice. Some just passed by with lingering glances, others stopped to admire the work. A few even asked for gardening advice- one particularly flustered private admitted he wanted to impress his girlfriend with a flower arrangement but had no idea where to start. You happily helped him pick out a selection, even wrote him a little care guide.
It wasn’t just the passing soldiers, either.
Older women in town would stop by just to chat about your arrangements, some even bringing over cuttings from their own gardens. Parents would pause during walks, their children pointing excitedly at the bright flowers and fairy lights you had strung along the porch. The local baker started leaving small bags of cookies at your door with notes like, Your flowers made my morning brighter!
And then there was Task Force 141, as they’d eventually introduce themselves to you.
The first time you caught Captain John Price standing on your sidewalk, arms crossed as he stared at your house, you thought you were in trouble. He had the kind of presence that demanded respect- commanding, observant, the weight of experience in every movement.
“You lost?” you teased anyways, adjusting a pot of marigolds, and hoping he wouldn’t consider you disrespectful.
Price huffed a quiet laugh, eyes flicking between the vines, the flowers, the fairy lights. “No. Just… wasn’t expecting this.” He gestured vaguely at the floral explosion around you.
“Well,” you grinned. “I refuse to live somewhere that looks like a training camp. You are the soldiers, not me.”
That had been the start of it.
Soap was the next to visit. He showed up a few days later, leaning against your railing as he inspected a cluster of bright yellow sunflowers. “Got any of those that’ll survive my terrible luck?”
You hummed, then handed him a small, sturdy succulent. “Try not to kill it.”
Then came Gaz, who always claimed he was “just passing through” but somehow always found himself near your house. He asked questions- what flowers worked best for balconies? His mum has a love for tending to flowers as well. Did you have any recommendations for someone who had never taken care of a plant in his life?
Regardledd, you happily enjoyed chatting with him, and he left with a small potted fern, promising to send updates.
And then there was Ghost.
Ghost never exactly visited, but you saw him. Once, when you were rearranging your display and muttering about getting new soil, you spotted him standing across the street, arms folded as he observed your work. He didn’t say anything- just gave a barely perceptible nod before disappearing back into the shadows.
But the next morning, a heavy bag of high-quality soil rested against your porch steps. No note. No explanation.
But from what the others had told you of him… you knew who it was from.
The townsfolk had opinions about that, too.
“That group’s been sniffing around your place an awful lot,” Mrs. Holloway, the town baker, noted one morning as she handed you a fresh loaf of bread. “You got yourself a security detail, dear?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “I think they just like the flowers.”
The butcher, a gruff man who had lived in the town longer than anyone, grunted in agreement. “Good. Those boys need something nice to look at.”
Even the local barista took notice. “Gaz came in the other day asking if we had any floral-themed drinks,” she giggled, leaning in close to you. “I swear, he’s trying to impress you.”
Ultimately, the town adored what you were doing. Where once there had been dull uniformity, now there was life. People started adding their own touches- small flower pots, window boxes, even a few hanging baskets inspired by yours. The air felt lighter, more welcoming.
And the 141?
They had seen the worst the world had to offer. They had fought in places where beauty was a distant memory, where survival took precedence over everything else.
Yet, somehow, you- sunshine incarnate, with dirt-streaked hands and a smile that could brighten even the darkest day- had managed to burrow into their hardened hearts.

Found-Family headcanons for a³'s coven of chaos, part 4: (because they all deserved more time with each other)
(warning: drinking)
(part 3, here) - (part 2, here) - (part 1, here)
Everyone loves to give Señor Scratchy treats, even when Agatha insists they shouldn't.
Señor Scratchy especially loves Billy, Lilia and Sharon. He does likes to cuddle everyone, though. Except Jen, who he's always trying to bite, (???) because he wouldn't be Agatha's familiar if he didn't.
One day Jen jokes that she will turn him into a purse if he rages against her again—and everyone defensively yells at her at the same time. “Okay! Okay! Jeez! I was joking!”
Sharon cuts fruit for everyone every time they hang out together and forces them to eat it before doing anything else.
Jen usually pays for everything. It's the price of her constantly bragging about her, “real job.”
Agatha always teases her about it. One time, Lilia felt bad—and so she “went to the bathroom” and payed for everyone herself.
Billy himself got his first bad alcohol experience at age seventeen at his first big teen party, which Eddie took him to.
He got very fucking wasted very quickly because turns out he's not great at holding his alcohol. So—he begged Eddie not to call his parents, because, “they've bEeN through enOUGH I'M A HORRIBLE SON AND NOT EVEN reALLY THeirS--”
So, Eddie sighed and called Agatha to get him instead. And yes, your girl did drive ALL the way to Eastview—and spent the whole night sleepless, sobering him up to save him from the hungover. She was just glaring at Rio all night long, telling her to go make coffee and no funny business, while holding his head over the toilet. She was surprisingly gentle and comforting during the experience—because she does have her moments—like when Lilia had her traumatic hallucination in Jen's trial and Agatha gently went, “okay” instead of mocking her. That's the vibe.
BUT he still got the scolding of his life the next day. The whole neighbourhood heard Agatha yelling.
During the argument Agatha yelled that, “I'm not your mother!” and he shot back, “I know that, do YOU know that??” Which caused her to avoid him for a few days.
Later, Rio told him how much it actually affected her and why—and Billy felt really bad about it. On mother's day, he gave Agatha a gift basket of stuff he made himself, (with his bio-mom's help.) Agatha said it was tacky and unnecessary—but she actually teared up a bit. She opened the window and yelled at Wanda's abandoned lot to make an insensitive joke about how, “suck it, Wanda, you rank last in the mom list—” as to not show too much vulnerability. But Billy is used to her by now—and he knows that she appreciated it.
Alice always feels sad on mother's day. She visits her mother's grave site and tells her how bad her life is. This year, Billy went with her. And for the first time, Alice only had good things to tell her. About how she broke the curse—and she can finally do something with her life now. About how she got a new job, and a coven.
Also, to cope, Alice got a gift for Lilia and one for Sharon. They may not be her actual mothers—but she appreciates them both endlessly and their support means the world to her. She got them both protective crystals.
You know who ELSE got Sharon a gift??
Well, Sharon doesn't either. She just received an anonymous bouquet of Azaleas and she had no idea who sent it to her.
It was Agatha, but she'd die before admitting it. She's the last person you'd suspect, since she still calls her Mrs. Hart despite how triggering it is, or pretends she doesn't remember her existence at all. In reality, she's grown fond of the Westview residents despite her best efforts not to. She doesn't particularly respect them and she does view them as “lesser,” but she doesn't wish them harm. They did take care of her for three years—and the Agnes role does have bits and pieces of Agatha in it.
Billy finds out through Rio and accidentally tells Alice. Alice tells Jen, Jen tells Lilia, (because she's not about to hide Agatha's embarrassing secret.) and Lilia tells Sharon.
Sharon is surprised but also extremely moved, considering she doesn't have any living family. She wants to thank Agatha, so she gets the idea to throw her a surprise party. (Since she herself hasn't been to a party since Mr. Davis passed away and she really wants to attend one!!)
She gets help from the coven but also invites all the main Westview residents that we know and love. Rio proposes the idea of writing, 'Agnes of Westview' on the cake, to get back at Agatha for always calling them by their Wanda-branded names. Sharon doesn't want to, but everyone else finds it hilarious, so they do it.
Agatha pretends to be extremely annoyed.
She isn't. She just never expected this to happen to her. For people to want to be there—and to see her as someone at least capable of good—someone who deserves a second chance.
They eat and drink together, having a blast. Billy isn't allowed to drink, but Agatha sneaks him a glass. Just ONE glass. You know, to teach him responsibility, as if she's the queen of it. “It's about knowing when to stop, teen.” “oh is it? tell us more”
Sharon is the opposite of a light-weight. She chugs down those shots like they're nothing—and if you ask her, she'll dismissively wave and say she's “lived a life.” Still, she doesn't seem to know her limits, and she gets carried away. At least she prepared some bomb ass charcuterie for everyone!!
Jen is a classy drinker, picky with her alcohol. She knows her limits and always drinks just enough to “make the company tolerable,” since, “no sane person could ever find you idiots amusing without a few shots.”
Lilia becomes incredibly talkative when she drinks and she loses whatever filter she may have otherwise had. Not to say that usually she has too much of a filter, but drunk, she literally becomes Patti Lupone. Jen finds it endearing and listens intently, Alice finds it sort of amusing but also a bit shocking, Rio matches her freak and Agatha just finds it fucking terrifying.
You'd expect Rio to be wilding, but she already does that sober. No, instead, she becomes very clingy and very affectionate—just whipped over Agatha. And she's kind of a light-weight too, which surprises everyone at first. It's because her real form is literally skeletal and her human form is probably maintained magically—so there's less actual real body mass to dilute the alcohol. So, death can tear through the fabric of reality, but metabolising alcohol is just too difficult.
Alice can hold her alcohol very well. She was once the definition of a teenage dirtbag, so she has experience in the field. Now she's pretty sensible. She's also the most clear-headed, even when she's drunk enough to stumble around.
Agatha herself is a slow drinker because she wants to make fun of everyone else for being less sober than her. She's developed a fair bit of tolerance over the years, but when it finally hits it really hits.
During a particularly rough case of drunkenness her and Jen sung karaoke together. Not during Agatha's party, though. Neither of them can quite recall the incident, or so they claim. Unfortunately for them, Alice recorded the whole thing. Rio made it her ringtone, as did Lilia.
Jen forces Lilia to get a skin-care routine. “Doll, I actively choose to look like this because I don't have the time or energy to maintain a youthful appearance. What makes you think I'll spend money on these products that capitaliSe in womeN's InsEcuriTiEs—I'm a divination fraud, you're a beauty guru fraud, we're both senior citizens, I don't care for this—”
And Jen is like, “okay ouch but nO this is nOt what I've been selling. This is new. We're not talking about just a luxury—the skin is the largest organ of the body and is exposed to various environmental stressors like pollution, UV rays, and temperature changes, as well as internal factors like stress and diet. I'm giFting these products to you I mAde them in a cAuLdron.”
Lilia is so flabbergasted by the clarity of Jen's explanation that she agrees. However, she constantly forgets to actually apply it.
Fortunately, Jen never forgets. And Lilia is probably the only person that Jen tolerates to constantly give reminders to.

Merchant, what are some headcanons you have about silentlily/mystic cacao? (Aside from the ones we alr have, which I’m rlly grateful for btw🧚‍♀️) maybe even a small fic with one of these ships(I’m definitely not STARVED of content of these guys)
Do you think they have a change at redemption, and if so, would they be together with their respective ancients?
Also just so you know I got converted into the burning cheese cult the day I read your first ao3 fic about the ship, I was amazed by the writing and was craving for more, actually I’m the person named “cracker” that commented on your fics.
Thanks for feeding us with your amazing ideas 🙏🙏
CRACKER??? IS THAT REALLY YOU???
Tumblr media
I'm so happy to hear from you again 😭😭😭 where have you been, I've missed you and your comments on my fics 😭😭😭 I love chatting with you man, it's so nice that you found me here
While I can't provide any fics right this second (my fic backlog is HUGE; for multiple stories/AUs/ships, not just BurningCheese. First one in line is a BurningCheese fic I've been sitting on for 2 months+ now. First chapter coming to AO3 soon (as in... tomorrow 👀)), I can provide headcanons at the very least. 3 each, for my old buddy 🫵❤️
Silent Salt never, ever takes off his helm. He is deeply uncomfortable showing his face to anyone, even his friends (it took them forever to learn what he looks like, even after literal years of friendship). The fact that he is not only willing to show his face to White Lily, but let her touch and remove his helm herself (that is HUGE), is a true testament to how much he trusts and cares for her
Silent Salt loves White Lily's hair. He thinks it's absolutely beautiful. She taught him how she braids it so he can do it for her, which he does every so often
I hc Silent Salt as being completely mute (like, he can't make any noise at all. As if he has no vocal cords, period. You can hear him breathing and that's it) and primarily using movement/body language to communicate his thoughts and feelings (and sign language as well, although he uses that to carry on longer and more articulate conversations). White Lily took the time to teach herself sign language so she could understand and communicate with him better, which he finds deeply touching as very, very few people have ever done that for him or anything nice at all really. Letting my personal characterization of + backstory for him slip a little here haha
While Dark Cacao and Mystic Flour are not particularly romantic (it's just not really who they are, nothing to do with not liking each other), they will both still make little gestures for each other. They take care to make each other's favorite tea, just how they like it. Flour will tuck stray strands of Cacao's hair back behind his ears when she notices them (and she always does. She pays closer attention to his face than anyone realizes). Cacao always asks Flour how her day has been, or if something is bothering her (he, too, is attentive to her face and facial expressions, and does notice subtle changes (which is also huge bc Flour wears the same damn face almost all the time lol)). Small things that actually mean quite a lot, because they stem from genuine love that does not need words or grand gestures to make itself known and understood
They are very polite and patient with one another, even when they're disagreeing (or even arguing). They will never talk over each other; they wait until the other has finished saying what they have to say before they respond. They feel a deep mutual respect for one another as individuals and try to maintain this, regardless of how tense their interactions may become
They sometimes exchange keepsakes unique to their cultures, as tokens of affection to hold onto and admire while they're apart. Scrolls, paintings, idols. Small things not really meant to take up space; just things that turn their heads or draw their eyes over for a moment and make them smile when they walk past them in the palace/Ivory Pagoda
Really makes me smile to see you again, dude. You really were there since day 1 and I'm grateful. And I'm glad I convinced you to ship BurningCheese in the first place! You and everyone else honestly 😂 it's both awesome and hilarious how many people have come to me saying I converted them to the ship. I feel I like I'm amassing a private militia lol. Gonna murder all other ships involving either character in their sleep. Gonna storm Devsis HQ and seize control of the writers' room. Gonna hoard nuclear weapons and take over the world
I hope you enjoy the stories I've written on here as well! They're mostly wholesome because as fun as Yandere Spice is, I genuinely do ship Burning Spice with Golden Cheese and want them to be happy and healthy, which is why I mainly prescribe them a slow burn romance + slow burn redemption arc for Spice lmao (they're all tagged #merchant shorts for ease of access. There are 9 in total I think. With more in the oven, because I keep forgetting to put my imagination on a leash most of the time. Trying to slowly work my way up to their wedding) I also hope you like the fan babies 👉👈 I put a lot of time and effort into creating them (please ignore my lack of artistic talent, I will improve eventually. Hopefully. I make up for it with my writing in the meantime), they're my little blorbo grandchildren
(As for that other question of yours... In my main canon + my Reformed Beasts AU (which... are kind of the same ngl lmao), yes, Flour and Salt can change. Any bad person can change their ways if only they cared enough to do so. It takes time and great effort, but eventually, they both turn over a new leaf, as all the Beasts do. As for whether or not they get together with their Ancients... wait and see. I like SilentLily and MysticCacao, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll happen. You'll find out as I dump more stupid lore on here lol)

10 more BG3 headcanons I have (some thirst)
Tumblr media
Round 2! Hope you'll forgive me for one of these in particular; I know it was kinda wild. And I should warn you; some of these aren't really headcanons, but things I wish we got during the game. Didn't wanna make another "nitpick" post though since I didn't have enough. Make sure to check out my first 10 headcanons!
Tumblr media
Astarion became more faithful if he romanced a cleric/devout Tav--Call me a sap for divine inspiration, but seeing how Astarion mentioned how no god ever answered his prayers throughout the years, I like the idea that a cleric Tav (or at least a Tav with reverence for a god/gods) inspired a bit of religiousness in Astarion; nothing elaborate, but something along the lines of "the god(s) you worship must care about me because they brought you to me, and you saved me"-type thing. I kinda have a similar headcanon for Wyll since he mentioned something similar about gods giving him the cold shoulder, but for some reason, I keep imagining him being more secular, though perhaps he does have a bit more respect for the gods.
Tumblr media
2. Wyll and Tav's first child (after Lily) is named after his father--I remember that if you tell him you want to start a family (kinda sucks he's the only guy I can have the dialogue option with, but I get it), that his father would like someone to carry his name. I'm pretty sure he meant the Ravengard name, but I do find it cute if they just said "screw it, we're gonna give our child your exact name." Ulder can be a unisex name...right?
Tumblr media
3. Omeluum helps us if we rescued him--This is directly contradictory with canon, but I wanted it so bad. It doesn't feel fair that Omeluum is the most helpful mind-flayer, but there's no option to have him be the mind flayer who assists Tav's team. It'd be a nice alternate option to having the Emperor or turning Orpheus or a member of your team into an MF.
Tumblr media
4. Wyll expresses interest in becoming a wizard if Mizora's pact is broken--Perhaps this is due to respecing ALL of my team into wizards based on my gaming style, but I don't put it past Wyll to miss his warlocks abilities, and since he'd wisely not sell his soul to a demon after being free of Mizora and not have the time to go through a whole wizard education, Gale tutors him in their free time, and he eventually becomes an accomplished Bladesinger.
Tumblr media
5. Astarion's fed on everybody and (mostly) no one's picked up on it--When Astarion mentions that he'll visit Tav and be careful not to wake them, it kinda makes me feel like he's made his rounds, but isn't gonna mention that since the team didn't trust him when he was outed as a vampire, and telling them that he's already crossed some boundaries would probably get him killed.
Tumblr media
6. Tav is on frequent baby duty if romancing Lae'zel (unless githyanki)--This is a very selective headcanon dependant on MY Tav, but I do imagine Lae'zel leaves Xan with Tav whenever she has important duties, though she grows concerned that Tav will coddle them too much (unless they're also githyanki and they're helping her in her war against Vlakith). Otherwise, I could imagine Shadowheart's parents or Lord Ravenguard trying to help babysit.
Tumblr media
7. The hyena from the beginning of Act II in the Shadowcursed lands returns and stands by us--I love "Speak with Animals," and I didn't appreciate it until a couple playthroughs in. I love the idea that upon being freed, he joins us in camp and befriends Scratch and the Owlbear cub.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. Gale and Lae'zel are especially attracted to those with a lot of junk in the trunk--Random, I know, but it is a headcanon. Of course, this means almost nothing when in my mind, all the characters (particularly the men) are built with Rule 34 proportions, but I do love the idea that Lae'zel has a specific lust for thicc people (perhaps it's just a gith thing due to their skinnier body types), and Gale is easily flustered/seduced by someone of that build. I kinda like the idea that everyone in the camp is drawn to that, but Gale is more obviously distracted and Lae'zel is more obviously attracted; Astarion and Shadowheart keep their desires close to the vest so you don't have power over them, while the others are merely polite not to blatantly devour someone cakked up.
(Side note: Man, I wish we had a glute slider like Veilguard had--but a GOOD one.)
Tumblr media
9. Gale is blissfully unaware of his (physical) allure--No idea why, but Gale always gave me "hot dad" vibes where youngsters are always drawn to him and attracted to him, and he doesn't understand the lust directed at him. He thinks himself handsome, but not really a magnet. As such, whenever people flock to him, he (sometimes) mistakenly assumes it's due to his magical acumin, being a hero of Baldur's Gate, being a chosen of Mystra, etc. When in reality, it may just be that he's the hot wizard. He always has a full classroom as a professor, in any case. (And this as hilariously ironic because I imagine he's very horny. I have a situation I imagine where he sends an astral projection to Tav in public that is accidentally very explicit.)
Tumblr media
10. The Spawn in the Underdark offer a haven from Minthara and the drow--Even if she sides with Tav's good nature, Minthara is evil-leaning, and can go about going to war with one of the biggest drow houses. Given drow ruthlessness and sexism, I do like the idea that if the spawn are sent to the Underdark, whether ruled by Astarion or not, and they offer a haven from the horrific nature, and are on the verge of creating a peaceful enclave within the Underdark (and maybe offering a transactional relationship of protection in exchange for blood?)
(Note: Ignore the black coverings; apparently this is a pic from a bug that happened a few years ago.)
Hope you enjoyed these headcanons! Do you have any we share?

If you want marauders ideas I kinda have one. Black! Reader who writes to her older brother telling him their mother has arranged a marriage for her as soon as she graduates. Basically the marauders protecting reader from whoever tries to claim her hand. Could be platonic or romantic, it's completely up to you and your pretty brain. <3
Sirius is already so absolutely extremely overprotective over his sister so this would put him into overdrive. Like this man is pulling out all the stops to save his sister from enduring a life she doesn’t want.
I kind of imagine this taking place after Sirius ran away to the Potter’s. He’s not right there in person anymore back home but he’s still around at school and he for sure is gonna be on a warpath when it comes to all the other purebloods. He and the other Marauders aren’t going to give any of the Reader’s possible suitors any peace whatsoever while he’s still around. Sirius will make it his life’s goal to make all the possible suitors’ lives absolute hell while he still can. Even after school, this man would still be on a warpath to ruin them all.
First things first though, I could Sirius very much trying to get his sister away from their mother and out of Grimmauld Place altogether. He’d try to get them to come to the Potter’s too or maybe they even show up on their own at some point (probably when it gets closer to their arranged marriage). If that were the case then he for sure is going to do everything in his power to protect the Reader.
The other Marauders would for sure help Sirius whether he asked them too or not, especially seeing how much of an issue the whole situation is, particularly for Sirius given he can’t fathom his precious sister being in such an overall terrible situation that they have absolutely no autonomy in whatsoever and could most likely be treated horribly in.
If James, Remus, or Peter had a thing for his sister, I think Sirius would be perfectly fine with it so long as it could get his sister out of this situation. He’d especially prefer James or Remus over Peter cause he at least knows that they can keep his sister safe and protected in his stead then he believes Peter ever really could. Either way, I could see them devising a plan to get his sister and take her far away to elope with the respective Marauder, whether it’s before or right after she graduates it’s happening fast. If they wait until the Reader graduates then the second her feet hit the platform Sirius and the boys got her in their grasp and they’re gone.
I could also very well see Sirius desperately looking to James to marry his sister, like a marriage of convenience. Whether James is romantic or platonic in the situation. Like, Sirius would be on his fucking knees begging James to save his sister. He couldn’t care less if James still wanted to be with Lily that is if that’s still what he wants after marrying the Reader but he just needs to stay married to the Reader in the process. Like, the two can go their separate ways and be with whoever they want but they need to keep the marriage to ensure the Black family doesn’t try to take the Reader back into their web. But I could see James going through with it but being conflicted. Sure he still has his love for Lily but he also feels the need to do right by the Reader and be a husband to them, even if they’re more than okay with the situation just being merely out of convenience. Maybe James started out yandere platonic for the Reader but after marrying and playing house with them for a time he starts to grow romantic towards them.
In the case of the Reader marrying Remus, I could see him being conflicted too but it’s more from the fact of marrying his best friend’s sister, not to mention his being a werewolf. Not only does he feel awkward about the situation (whether he was romantic for the Reader already or not) but he also feels like he’s damned them to a life of being with a monster even if they agreed that either of them could be with whoever they wanted to be or that they didn’t need to treat this like an actual marriage. Even though there is that agreement, Remus would still very much take his vows very seriously. He never thought he’d be married to anyone, let alone his best friend’s sister, so he wants to do right by them and act like a husband. He wants to give them a good experience even if it isn’t exactly a complete marriage between the two. But eventually Remus does start to really fall into the role of being a husband and he quite enjoys it, overall he enjoys being with the Reader most. So, it would be really hard for him if they weren’t treating the marriage as it was, like he was, even just pretending and playing their part the smallest bit.
Imagine if the Reader viewed their ‘marriage’ to James or Remus as just being solely a way out of their family and the unwanted betrothal they were thrown into and eventually getting into a relationship of their own outside of the marriage, meanwhile James/Remus have become romantic!yandere for them. They would feel so betrayed, having taken their vows seriously and wanting to do right by the Reader in the beginning only to genuinely fall for them in the end and they’re just out ‘cheating’ on them so openly and unapologetically.
Also, imagine if the person the Reader was supposed to marry was actually yandere for them too. Like, maybe it was Barty Crouch Jr, or Evan Rosier, or (Merlin forbid) Rabastan Lestrange. And they were actively trying to get their darling back 👀. Not to mention yan!bro!Regulus who is on the other side of things. Especially regarding Barty and Evan, maybe Regulus was the one who brought it up to Walburga about the arranged marriage to begin with cause he knew how his best friend(s) felt about his sister and he trusted them enough to be with her. Plus, if their parents were going to marry the Reader off anyway, particularly for blood purity reasons, then he’d rather it be to someone he could trust with his beloved sister than anyone else.

🤍💚 !!
as always these are long lmao
💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?
to be fair lily is soooo up to interpretation since we only see her through the lens of men (mostly snape). it's hard to say anything is particularly wrong besides flat portrayals. but seriousbrat who's analysis (x x) I always love has been talking about how the boys are often not written like teenage boys, in favor of woke feminist heros, and I think the same can be said for lily.
I think even people that like her use her as the moral compass. but she does almost laugh when james is bullying snape in SWM. so I see her more as someone who wants very badly to be good and kind, but it's at odds with her own desires/wants and sometimes needs (she needed to drop snape before it got to the point of him calling her a slur fr fr).
not that i don't think she's kind. I think she grows to balance the over-empathetic parts of her with her own needs, and dating James is linked to that. in the sense that she's doing something that she used to think would be wrong, but now is like "fuck it I want to".
so yeah back to her almost laughing, I think lily has an instinct towards cruelty to some extent. we know that severus, sirius and james all have a talent for cruelty, and those are the three people we see her befriending in the text. her being a woman also plays into her being the moral compass, but i would say that the pressures of her two societies necessitated her to be more mindful of her behavior. she had less options for recklessness, but, again, we know james and sirius are reckless! and severus is taking some sort of risk by signing up with the death eaters. she doesn't fuck with people who play it safe.
so yes i think there is this part of her she sees as bad that is interested in dark magic and being a bitch bc it's fun (oversimplification) that all three of those relationships allow her to explore in different ways. usually she keeps it locked away unless she deems it acceptable to use as a weapon. i think being a mom brings this part of her out, more, for better or worse.
🤍: Which character is not as morally bad as everyone else seems to think?
this is kind of random but molly weasley. I think she was adored uncritically in early fandom and now she's just bashed both of which I think are two sides of the misogyny coin.
In general people project their own relationships with their parents onto characters like molly & walburga. molly is not super emotionally mature, she's cruel to hermione in book 4, she yells at her children and she plays favorites.
she also is the sole caretaker for all of her children, her husband, and then in 5, 6 and 7 the whole of the order. do we see anyone else taking the lead on household management? no! that's an enormous amount of stress. it's clear she feels responsible for the well being of her children and they are constantly in danger.
her two brothers died in the first war. she births all of her children during a war (ginny is born a few months before jily die). her whole adult life has been shaped by this conflict, and I'm sure it's impact what she believes care should look like. she's desperately afraid of her children making the wrong choices and ending up in a bad situation. I know this comes in the form of nagging about grades and making good career choices, but it's impossible for there not to be something deeper there
like I did not grow up with war in my country but I've had an incredibly unstable life up until age 25/26 (I am 27). my younger sibling (22) who I raised also has! and when she makes choices, there is a deep level of anxiety for me. there's a looming fear that something will end with extreme harm, even if that doesn't seem connected to that choice. I can only imagine how much that's multiplied when it's 1) your own children 2) active war & 3) your brothers died in the active war.
plus she makes me think of all the invisible labor women do to help war efforts. I don't think she's a great mom but I don't think she's horrible, she loves her children & is trying very hard and sometimes falling short or even failing. to err is human tho.

what are some problematic opinions you have??
I really don't think any of my opinions are problematic? Idk, I guess I'll let the people be the judge of that. I want to preface that these are how I feel personally and I would never try to enforce my opinions on others. Ship who you want to ship, love who you want to love. If you disagree with any of my opinions then that's fine but please don't try and convince me to "see your reasoning", these are opinions I'm pretty set on.
I don't particularly multiship, not because I have no sense of fun but because I genuinely can't understand how people ship Barty with Sirius or Narcissa with Lily or Evan with James etc. It makes so sense and no amount of reasoning will ever convince me that anybody other than Evan can stand Barty to a degree that they want to fuck him. He's so annoying and I mean that with all the love in the world as an Evan kin. I think Sirius needs Remus to mellow him out. Lily and Narcissa is just a no from me. Period.
I think sometimes the fandom forgets that relationships can be platonic. Friends exist, not every character needs to fuck all of their best friends because they understand each other so deeply. Yes, they have great chemistry...as friends. Platonically. Do you want to fuck your best friend? .......actually you're on tumblr and a marauders fan so who knows
People are so desperate in this fandom for others to talk about the girls more but then when people do post about them there is like no interaction. From experience, the boys get more hits, more kudos, more notes etc. I write about Rosekiller expecting not much attention, I'm not in it to get popular otherwise I would stick to Jegulus and Wolfstar rather than my precious murder husbands. But whenever I post about the girls the comments are dryyyyy and it's not fun. I love getting comments and replies so I can interact with others and talk about headcanons. It feels like as soon as I post about the girls people forget that they were encouraging more of that content in the first place.
Fanon and canon are blurring and not in a fun way. There are certain headcanons that people take from fanon or even from specific popular fics and start stretching canon to fit the fanon and then get angry when people don't stick to it. Saying a character is canonically a certain way because of implications in the canon can be really harmful.
I don't particularly care for OCs in fics. I read these stories for the characters I like and if an OC has like a massive chunk of a chapter on their own or even whole chapters or whole fics I will likely skip or even DNF because that's just not what I'm here for. Like I don't care.
If a character isn't attractive in this fandom, people don't care. Just because someone doesn't have rippling abs and perfect skin, it doesn't mean you can write them off as being bad. People can be hot and fat, ugly and fat, ugly and skinny, ugly and a good or interesting person!!! As a plus size person, I have spent my whole life looking at media portrayals saying that I am not worth attention until I am skinny, only then can I be attractive, and this fandom can be just as guilty sometimes (I'm looking at you people who make Snape hot to justify liking him, and making Peter have no personality besides being fat).
People are way to eager to interact with content they don't like to tell them they don't like it. Look up what an algorithm is, hun, I'm begging you. (this isn't controversial unless you are one of those people who does that)
Okay, hopefully I've not lost anyone along the way. Like I said, don't try and convince me I'm "wrong" in the comments, these are opinions and cannot be factually incorrect < 3

So I was reading your meta about why Tom/Minerva wouldn't be a thing or work out in the long run past a date or two, and thought I'd take a stab at how Tom and Alphard did make it work in your and Vinelle's fics.
Alphard's high tolerance for relationship shenanigans
Tom might care about his partners (he wouldn't start a relationship in the first place if he didn't), but he's often bad at letting them know, and also pulls a lot of obnoxious shenanigans/is pushy in general, which can drive off many potential partners. Being in a relationship with Tom means having to put up with a lot.
So Alphard is one of those people who can tolerate this. Maybe part of it is just his natural personality, but I feel like Walburga being so domineering during their early childhood (she's like this in their early adulthood too, and I doubt their dynamics have changed that much) also plays a major role. Alphard's still capable of being assertive and stubborn over things he finds particularly outrageous, but his default reaction to things he doesn't like is to give up after his first few attempts to change it fail, and just grumble and despair to himself in a corner. So when first-year Tom comes along beating him up, Alphard just goes with his well-practiced response of letting the other party have their way and getting it over with already.
He's also introverted and uncharismatic, which means he doesn't have much of a social life and gets lonely as a result. So having a boyfriend who values him for his thoughts and he can have a deeper connection with is something Alphard really likes, so even if said boyfriend is sometimes being negligent or pulling/having pulled crazy stuff (ie constantly beating him up in the past), it's still better than nothing. The fact that he's gay which massively cuts down on potential romantic partners, and would make him stigmatized if he got outed doesn't help. Neither does his massive crush on Tom. (Lily's more charming and doesn't have the orientation issue, but she's still lonely and without deep connections. In any case, she also displays the same high tolerance for less-than-stellar boyfriend behavior)
Minerva, who probably has a better social life and isn't so lonely, would be less tolerant of all of Tom's baggage.
2. Alphard already being aware Tom isn't all sunshine, and in general gets to see past the facade more
He's in Slytherin, and they're dormmates to boot, which means Alphard is getting a front-row seat to Tom being a horrible menace to their housemates (and him). Nonetheless he still finds things to admire about Tom, and though that could be kickstarted by teenage hormones, a good chunk of that attachment must come from Alphard himself or the crush wouldn't last so many years. Alphard is already at the point of being able to accept liking Tom while still knowing he does unpleasant things. So if you drop the revelation of Tom doing worse than just nasty school bullying onto their heads (ie the basilisk and horcruxes), Alphard will still be in for a shock, but that's less for him to process than Minerva who only gets the shattered charming perfect facade of Tom to work with.
Also, being dormmates means that Alphard in general gets to spend more time observing Tom, which combined with his perceptiveness means he knows Tom as a person rather well, maybe better than Tom knows him (Tom spent several years not paying attention), dirty secrets aside. Even the less observant Abraxas manages to see more of Tom by virtue of his position than Minerva.
3. Tom's actually interested because of circumstance and the mystery/newness factor
Tom is fresh from all the crazy stuff that went down last year and in the summer, and while presumably still having a mental breakdown has gotten some of it out of his system. He's still unhappy and restless and wants to do something to distract himself, but he probably wants it to be something less, uhh, exciting than what happened earlier. (I'm assuming what was described in OOI is also canon to TMWWBK or other fics)
And then while going through his usual kicking housemates in the stomach so they know their place routine, he notices Alphard's choice of reading material. Come on, there's no way his stupid dormmate actually understands that stuff, right? He's probably just being pretentious and wants to make himself feel smart. Nonetheless, there's nothing lost if he asks, and then when Alphard doesn't give the expected answer he gets curious. Isn't this exactly the kind of harmless pursuit he wanted? (Alphard, meanwhile, sees what's happening and decides to deliberately bait Tom into following up) One thing leads to another when Tom realizes Alphard himself has some pretty interesting thoughts sometimes, and then they're friends and romantically involved.
This also seems to be the case for other fics where Tom gets romantically entangled with someone. More than even intelligence, Tom seems to need that other person to have hidden depths or a mystery that he can pursue. Bonus points for them being evasive, which eggs him on. Minerva, as a known factor that he already gets the gist of, just doesn't interest him enough.
4. General romanticism and Alphard's willingness to commit
So you said Tom's romanticism makes him want to skip the dating stage and do relationships in an all or nothing way. Either they commit or there's no relationship at all.
And Alphard, who isn't exactly swimming in other options, is quite attached to Tom, and does have a dramatic streak himself, is willing to take the plunge. The fact that it's a taboo relationship (both same-sex and a pureblood seeing an apparent muggleborn) and they have to see each other in secret, demanding a higher level of commitment, just amplifies it.
5. The blood purism and societal issues thing
This is the part where it doesn't work. Well, those two have other things going for them, and have enough of an established relationship and care for each other that they try to work around this issue, but it never gets fully resolved in the canon and near-canon timelines. The blood purity debate is one of those things that comes up every now and then, and always ends with them deciding to call it quits because neither party is convincing the other anyways, and don't they have more productive things to do with their time?
So Tom of course struggles to get anywhere in the wizarding world as himself, and concerned, Alphard tries to help by giving him financial support, which often is turned down. Alphard might think it's just Tom being too proud to accept handouts, and that is part of the reason he won't take substantial gifts unless Alphard gets smart about it, but it's also a matter of principle. The issue is the wizarding world being built on nepotism and closing its doors to outsiders, and Tom only managing to do well with his insider boyfriend's help kind of proves the point.
Alphard is better about understanding muggleborn issues than most purebloods, but he isn't muggleborn himself, and there's still a remove between watching something happen to a loved one and experiencing it yourself. So he's aware of Tom's struggles to get anywhere in society legitimately, and acknowledges it's unfair, but the same tendency towards resignation that helps him put up with Tom's nonsense also works against him here, in that he gives up on the system changing too easily. For him, yes, the system is broken and there's a lot of things that could be done better so muggleborns don't get screwed over, but it is what it is, and it's not like they can actually change things. Tom, of course, refuses to accept this, and this tension eventually leads to Alphard being unable to prevent the Voldemort thing because he can't fully get it.
So that's at least what I got from analyzing things. Please let me know if I missed anything significant or got something wrong.
This is a truly beautiful post anon, I love it, but unfortunately confirming or denying anything would be spoilers to a lot of things..
Look, @therealvinelle, ship thoughts!

Happy DADWC! Can I get "Grace, Dark, Holding" from the 3-word prompts for whoever you're feeling tonight!
Hello! I have some Hawke/Sebastian tonight for @dadrunkwriting. Egregious use of the Chant of Light ahead:
She can’t stop wondering how different things would be if it was a vase of Andraste’s Grace on the table, and white lilies never entered their home. If she had come home from the Keep just an hour earlier last week and heard about her mother’s beau at dinner.
“Hawke.” Sebastian’s voice rings through the room, dark and silent. She blinks. She hadn’t even noticed him enter. He takes his time crossing the room to her bed with the light footsteps of a rogue.
He pauses in front of her, a lord asking for favor. She tips her head in a silent acknowledgement, and he takes a seat by her side.
He takes her hand in his and she feels the calluses on his fingers, his skin worn from the bow. A Chantry brother shouldn’t have hands like that. It’s not the first time she’s lamented it.
“You’ll ruin your eyes sitting like this,” he murmurs. It’s such a strange sentiment, almost paternal. It’s wrong. He brushes a bit of hair back from her face, and she flinches.
She’s so lonely. It’s loneliness that’s led him here. Loneliness that led her mother to her death. She wanted to be her father made over, but Hawke is her mother’s daughter. She’ll fall in love, and one day it’ll end.
She wants what she’s always been denied. So did her mother, and so does Bethany. The curse of the Hawke women.
“Have you eaten?” His voice was the larger part of what endeared him to her; it would reach her from anywhere in the Chantry. Now, it’s so gentle that she wants to cry and she wants to hit him.
“I don’t need you to take care of me,” she snaps. She wants the lecture, but it doesn’t come.
“All right.”
“You’re not here to pray for me?”
“For you?”
“For my mother,” she corrects, feeling stupid. It’s been a long time since she’s had to do this, and the anger is boiling deep inside her tonight.
“Prayer is meant for willing ears,” he says. It’s earnest in a way she feels she might never be again.
“So the Maker has turned his gaze to us after all?”
He laughs sharply at that, but there is none of the victory she normally feels when she can free a laugh from him. “You may be on to something there.” He cocks his head. “Do you wish for me to pray for you, Hawke?” he asks in that low, soft voice.
“For my mother,” she stresses, and he shakes his head.
“That will come. I’ll see to the service myself if you wish.”
It’s a strange thought that comes to her then: having always been fond of him, her mother would be exceedingly pleased to know Sebastian would arrange her funeral.
“All right,” she echoes. “To both,” she continues flatly. He squeezes her hand once. That she feels it is the surprising part.
“You have grieved as I have,” he starts after some thought. “You, who made worlds out of nothing. We are alike in sorrow, sculptor and clay, comforting each other in our art.” He clears his throat. “You are not alone, Hawke.”
She blinks and lets his hand, still holding hers, come into focus. There’s a bracelet clasped around his wrist, a thin ring of silver. She gave it to him, she realizes dully. Found it somewhere in Lowtown. She taps it, and his eyes flick to the motion, startled.
“Of course not. You’re here.”
“And how do you feel?” he asks quickly.
“Angry, still.” Her eyes are still on the bracelet. It would clash with the gold of his armor, if he were wearing it. That’s why she gave it to him.
“As was I.” His lips thin into a line. “As I said: willing ears.”
Sebastian does not do anything without purpose.
“Was your mother’s death the worst of it?” To his credit, he does not flinch: the prince turned brother has heard it all, she must assume, and her grief-stricken bluntness cannot compare.
“The more I think on it, she was not a particularly loving mother. It was the principle of the thing, I suppose,” he says delicately.
“So you’ve always been principled.”
“You never seem to remember the reason I was sent here,” he says. There’s a wry twist to his lips. “It may not get better. It likely won’t.” He pauses. “Another, if I may?”
She cocks her head.
“All things are known to our Maker, and He shall judge their lies. All things in this world are finite. What one man gains, another has lost.”
“I’ll make sure of it,” she says darkly. He inhales sharply at that, the quietest thing. If she weren’t listening for it, she’d never know.
“You can come see me anytime,” he says, rising to his feet.
“Don’t,” she says sharply, her hand coming up to curve around his wrist. He stills at that, the first sign of hesitation she’s seen tonight, lining his widening eyes.
“Hawke…” He trails off. They’ll need me at the Chantry, he’ll say, but—
“I need you here.” He blinks at that, some color rising in his cheeks. He’s still here, and she’ll relish in it for years. That is if came down to the Chantry or her, she might have a chance in it. “It didn’t feel hollow. When I killed him.” She looks at him again, expecting disappointment. But his eyes are bright in the moonlight with something new. Understanding, maybe. Fervor. “It felt wonderful.” He draws closer, just a bit.
“Did it now?” It’s barely a whisper.
“Won’t you stay, Sebastian?” Her voice cracks on his name. It seems to land in him like an arrow, for he falls back to her side and lets his hands drop to his boots to tug them off.
It is a different verse that comes to her mind as they lie side by side, one that always haunted her from her mother’s books of scripture. You have brought sin to heaven and doom upon all the world. She tucks her head under his chin and listens closely for the hitch in his breathing.
“I shouldn’t have taken your offer that first day on the Chanter’s Board,” she murmurs. “I shouldn’t have taken that from you.”
Slowly, he wraps his arm around her.
“Perhaps it was for the best,” he says. But there’s a shake in his voice. It’s not convincing. Not to her.
When she falls asleep, she swears she can feel the ghost of his lips on her forehead.

Would .. would you mind telling us about your clover fanon.. I am so very curious they’re my darling ever
sorry i read this and went "i should answer that" and then i forgor. i just rembdered though! some fucked up themes tho. animal death + general mommy issues and he has some Mental Problems <3 also off the bat. he's Soooo unlabeled to me but uses he/him and kisses boys. i dont think he really cares abt the pronouns though either hes literally just hanging out. ok so! First and foremost. The reason he is Like That is because he is [sparkling emoji] one of white lily's experiments! Particularly she took a deer from the millenial forest [holy animal], sacrificed it, and baked it into a cookie [she left the lily villiage at some point in the past but knows the forest's secrets still so. lol]. however he didn't really turn out and the powers he Did get from it aren't replicable,,, at this point she hasnt gone Completely off the deep end so she doesnt completely abandon him like she does for crepe later but he Did feel fundamentally unwanted and kind of just. Left her grove seeking to fufill what she wanted out of him [not realizing he's a failure by principle no matter what he does] he is by most means a wanderer. picks up his lute, grows fond of the forest animals as he travels along [avoiding villiages because well. he is kind of a freak of nature and also just general Tism makes him seem like much more of a possibly ill-willed cryptid than he is]. he has a very strong desire to become what his mom wanted from him but also develops an appreciation for the world and wants to see more of it. eventually finds himself in the millenial forest [and lily villiage],,, and while they do welcome him its clear with the way they look at him he is the Outsider and very fucked up . eventually speaks to millenial himself and he takes pity on him and gives him what he wants [immortality] so he can live up to his purpose and keep traveling the world. Eventually as a bard once he realizes thats a thing that exists. and honestly once he comes to terms with how he'll never have a relationship with his mom [the lily grove, a mess of illusions, doesnt really let him in deep enough to where she is] he just doesnt hang onto it and does what he planned to. he has to bear the horrors of immortality but honestly it isnt,,, too terrible with his aloof nature? Like. Immortal or not he's perfectly used to his animal companions dying over time and he mostly has superfiicial relationships with other cookies. i'd say the worse thing for him is he's very,,, distant a lot. it's also part of the learned mentality of a bard/storyteller [watch what happens and remember it instead of engaging in it] and learning Things Hurt once they go away in his immortality. he's been around 2-300 years and is mostly just chill. has leaned into that cryptic guy of the woods thing a bit. he really is just hanging out. he's also probably a little traumatized from all the shit hes bore witness to [especially the dfw when he put together the dots of wl's experiments and de's goals] but idk. he just generally does not caare. he eats poisonous mushrooms for fun ebcause theyr'e yummy and dont effect him because he's immortal/in a weird position of being almost divine with what he's made of. also some time post canon he meets a mostly-human robot [copperbell, my wife's oc] who's seeing the world for the first time after being trapped in the city of wizards up until very recently. they hang out a lot. two immortal guys very passionate about music who hang out. one who's very passionate for the world and one who wants to know so much about it . yeah they're yaoi eventually . the machine and nature CAN have gay sex WOOO

OOOH OKOK i’m so excited (anon who double checked here)— if it isn't too confusing or complicated, could i request something for zhongli, diluc and albedo with an s/o who’s super insecure about their appearance? maybe include how they would react, as well as how they would comfort them? i’m trying to be nicer to myself, but on most days i just don't know how anyone could ever find me attractive :') feel free to skip this if you don't feel like writing them!! tysm
𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: zhongli, diluc, albedo (separate) x gn!reader
𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒: not proofread, insecurities/self-deprecating themes
𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒: i actually had so much fun writing this??? thank u for requesting! <3
Tumblr media
he's a bit dumbfounded. why would anyone, anything be insecure of their outward appearance? especially someone like you?
though, that doesn't mean he's curt about it. zhongli will definitely take the time and effort to stroke your cheek, to ghost over your lips in a small act of you're beautiful, love
he's subtle about it, not directly telling you. though zhongli's words are like gold, he doesn't think straight out saying "i think you're beautiful" is enough
whenever he catches you staring at yourself in the mirror, he'll quickly come and swoop you away. no, you mustn't wallow on your appearance so much it begins to shift. zhongli is no stranger to overthinking, and he certainly will not let you do the same
(ahem, erosion. listen, the old man needs a way to make memory loss sound cool.)
he'll begin to put extra, extra effort in caring for you (he cared for you a lot before, but this is amplified now)
everyday, don't be surprised if a bouquet of freshly-picked silk flowers and glaze lilies appear at your doorstep. yes, it can be embarrassing to see the same flower man delivering it, but it's all in good love
little notes attached to it, telling you such little things, yet they mean so much. "you look lovely today, love." even if he hasn't seen you yet. "make sure to eat your meals. i left some in the fridge for you to heat it up when you wake up."
zhongli is a man who finds beauty in every thing, every mundane thing that a mortal may look over in their fleeting life. does the sky make you smile? does the way your lungs flood with oxygen everytime you breathe make you realize how lucky you are to be alive?
the world is still beautiful, as are you.
so embrace it, step by step.
Tumblr media
he... doesn't understand
diluc isn't one to be hung up over his appearance. though, that doesn't mean he won't make an effort to understand you
or, try to understand you
when he catches you staring at yourself with a distraught expression, he dismisses it at first. maybe you felt off today, yada yada.
and then it kept happening
and then diluc grew worried
all his life, diluc has been told he was handsome or gorgeous. and all his life, he had thought it was because he was the typhoon of a particularly wealthy business
so when you stroll in as the most beautiful thing he has ever seen and tell him, you think you're ugly... he doesn't know how to react
all he can do is stifle out a little "you're not ugly..." because you're not. diluc doesn't think you're ugly, both inside and out. ugly is such a broadened term, a twisted perception of appearance molded by society just to put others down
so diluc tries his best. he tries to tell you every day he sees you... well, um, he acts it out
occasional glances, his vermilion eyes will meet yours. he'll spare you a tender look before steeling over once kaeya comes into the picture. he tells you he loves you, but at the same time, he doesn't
just the warmth. the warmth he produces when he holds you, the warmth of his gaze when he watches over you, the ghosts of smiles when you do something so mundane yet amazing in his eyes
diluc will not tell you the obvious, the obvious that he thinks you're stunning and gorgeous and amazing and beautiful.
he does not tell you—because he can't. he doesn't know how, so he hopes that this kiss from his lips will be enough to assure you... even if it's just for today, or tonight, or this hour—
"i love you, and don't you ever forget that."
Tumblr media
albedo would go off about how beauty and ugliness is just a hypothetical term that people created to define their unrealistic standards
but then he notices the way you bite your lip in anxiousness, chewing up the skin as you eye at yourself like a vermin of this earth. why? why must you be so harsh on yourself? the alchemist thinks
albedo genuinely does not understand, but if you try to convince him otherwise, he will cut you off and pull down a list of why he thinks you are beautiful
number 1: you have enchanting eyes
number 2: you are actually interesting
number 3: you talk with him for who he is, not who others see him as
he'll begin to take you out on his material-fetching quests. look at this flower, he thinks it smells like you. did you know during times of old, people used to use stars to navigate? he thinks you are like polaris, a guide in the dark.
albedo will draw you in secret, each stroke filled with more care than his three-lined kaeyas could ever imagine. to him, you are the most interesting person in the world—he could draw you forever
like diluc, albedo does not understand why someone would think lowly of themselves. never has albedo met someone he thought of as ugly, but then again, he's the last person who gets an opinion on that. mr. "everything is a hypothetical"
and once while he was out, you discovered his drawings of you. how they portrayed every thought he ever kept until now, his little notes and the way you stared at yourself
did you know, people who are told to draw themselves often make themselves duller because this is how they view them?
yet when someone like albedo comes in and truly draws the person as who he sees, they are the most breathtaking ever
compared to his lame kaeyas, it was time you realized how truly beautiful you are
each mark, each smile and each article of clothing.
"before i met you, love was a mere concept i had no interest in."
as an alchemist who strives to create life, albedo is aware of the beauty such fleeting times hold
so tell yourself in the mirror the next time you glance at yourself. see yourself through his lens of rose, his lens that have never laid their eyes upon someone like you:
"i'm beautiful"
say it and remember.

ohhh my favourite part of ask games, (harmless) petty fandom drama. i know these are a lot so ofc feel free to pick and choose but im nosy and love gossip so if you feel like it *eyes emoji*:
1 2 (just for the drama lol) 6 (feel free to ignore i understand u completely but i live for drama lol) 7 (MORE) 8 12 (<3) 16 (*eyes emoji*) 21 22 (for some final positivity)
1 - the character everyone gets wrong cedric the sorcerer. he deserves respect as a person, and the royal family was wrong to deny him that, but he does little to earn respect as royal sorcerer. 'oh he has such a good and relatable arc' whup tee doo his grand finale was... *checks notes* doing his job correctly. the one he's been training for his whole life. color me unimpressed by a character that should have either left that job YEARS ago or put a little effort into anticipating what he'd be asked to do and practicing instead of trying to prove his worth through stunts and domination.
2 - a compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom can't do it lol, everyone's a verse in my mind
6 - which ship fans are the most annoying? shoutout to the time i went through the snape/lily tag and couldn't scroll 3 posts without a james/lily shipper trying to pull moral rank. however i think 75% of the hp fandom has ship rabies.
7 - what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them? eh, none, i don't let fandom influence my interpretations of characters that way. cedric is closest but the fandom misinterpretation is just an additional annoyance, rather than a driving force
8 - common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about 'cedric and sofia have a good relationship'. shipping or not, they're completely one-sided. what does cedric provide sofia with? he doesn't even listen to her particularly well.
12 - the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them to no one's surprise, my first pick here is wormwood from sofia the first. he was created as a joke, ha ha the pet is smarter than the human master, but then the show makes you judge him by human moral standards as the foil to cedric's 'deserving of second chances'. the show itself asks you to view a character that cannot leave servitude as human, and wants you to believe that his station is right. it's so deeply unfair. i care him. i respect him. i want to see him take the power of humanity for himself, abuse it, naturally, because that's all humans have ever done to him, then grow into a complete person when he realizes he cares despite it all. knowing that, i feel like mentioning areelu should come as no surprise. doing great evil in response to evil that was done to you? that's so up my alley. up my pussy even. making her bond with daeran of all people is such a great idea, someone who cannot forgive her, but must move on and work with her regardless. it seems like most people write her off as too evil to live, but she's still a super genius. there's a lot to be gained by befriending her. the gold dragon ""redemption"" happens so absurdly fast though. 'oh shit guess this is pretty fucked up, so glad you're a piss-colored lizard bc that's the only way i'd ever listen to you' wrath's writing in general has a bit of a quantity over quality issue. a lacking-logic issue. no way my azata would sacrifice herself just cuz without knowing what areelu will do once she's gone.
16 - you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc) - hero-type main characters in general. idk exactly what it is but i find most of them very dull, and often irritating. a lack of desires beyond duty? can't often be described as freaks? they just never have any footholds for interesting ideas to me. - gold aasimar cum. if you want something golden to come out of daeran's dick, you can just make him piss XD also does that imply his hair is naturally white? - daeran x chill/lawful/'boring' kcs - i can tell that on some level he wants the stability from people like that, but i can't see him actually bonding with them. esp not towards the start of the game. - truly, utterly pathetic meow meows. like, listen, i love shoving a character into a Situation and watching them flounder around, but they've gotta be proficient at something!
21 - part of canon you think is overhyped for just about everything: the worldbuilding. i think people get impressed by the mere existence of worldbuilding, rather than the quality of it. pf surprised me when i looked deeper into stuff and found it gave me the same 'this is a hot mess and i have to make shit up for it to make sense' feeling as stf. i expected better from a massive ttrpg but ok. for wrath, also the characters and the music. the characters rely on one-note personalities with maybe a ~hint~ of spice, with one extremely notable exception of daeran. the degree to which he beats out every other character in complexity is stunning, really. the music is... just fine? it's not amazing, it does exactly what you'd expect a track for that purpose to do. I think most of the tracks have muddy orchestration, too much focus on harmony/vibes and not enough on rhythm and melody. the one track i really love is 'a drink before the battle', it has a great flow and dynamics and i wish it played more often.
22 - your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores the villains/antagonists, best part of literally any media ever

Would you mind writing young snape x reader where Lily hates Snapes crush and try’s to talk him out of asking her on a date but he does so anyways?
A/N: Hello! Love this prompt, I'm absolutely obsessed with young!snape x reader fanfics. I hope this little thing meets your expectations xx
Pairing: Severus Snape x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Some swearing and negative language, mostly nice though!
The Black Lake
“Do you think she would enjoy it?” Severus questioned, looking over at his companion with wide, hopeful eyes. Lily Evans gave him a cold look.
“Don’t know why you’re even bothering to ask her out. She’s bad news, Sev, you should know better,” she said, as she opened the door to the library.
“Bad news? What about her is bad news?” Severus replied as he plopped their textbooks on a table near the back.
“You know! She’s always hanging out with those stupid Slytherins…”
“I’m a Slytherin, Lily,” Severus interrupted, giving her an annoyed look. She had the decency to look somewhat embarrassed.
“You know I don’t mean you, Sev. You’re different…”
“Why? Just because I’m your friend doesn’t mean I’m not a true Slytherin. I hang out with those ‘stupid Slytherins’, too.” Two blotches of colour appeared high on Severus’ cheeks, something that was happening more and more often when he got into arguments with Lily.
Lately, he’d been trying to stand up for himself more and counter what Lily would say about his house and housemates. She tended to lump them altogether and rant about the more...negative attributes their reputation landed them. Typically, he wouldn’t mind very much–the Slytherins in his year were particularly stupid at times. But lately, she had taken to giving scathing complaints about you, and he was growing increasingly angrier with each word. You were his only real friend in Slytherin, a feat that had taken a lot of patience and trust, but you managed it. As the years went by, however, something special rose between you two, and it was finally bearing fruit.
“Yes, but you’re not like them! You don’t go around cursing people for fun and practicing dark magic, and you’re not going around calling people Mudbloods,” Lily’s cheeks grew redder. “Can’t you see? If you ask her out on that date, she’s going to drag you right into it, too! She’s a horrible, selfish, annoying slag!” Her voice had risen and people looked over at Lily. Madam Pince gave their table a fierce glare and fingered her wand. Severus’ face grew darker the more Lily spoke, his hands beginning to tremble.
“No, Lily. You’re wrong. I know her better than you, and I know she would never, ever do things like that unless under Imperius. And frankly, I’m tired of hearing you nag on and on about her, especially when you know how I feel. I’m leaving.” Severus said, a tone of finality in his words as he stood up and grabbed his books. Lily looked anxious.
“Sev, wait! I just don’t want to see you make a mistake or get hurt,” she said, lowering her voice to a murmur as Madam Pince turned to face them again. Severus gave Lily a stony look.
“I know how to take care of myself. Bye, Lily.” And he walked away.
He wandered aimlessly. He was too anxious to go to the Slytherin common room and be surrounded by the other people with free periods, but he didn’t want to wait around somewhere he could get ambushed by the Marauders. He sighed, his legs bringing him out to the edge of the Black Lake. He sat on a rock, the waves licking at the place his toes were resting. He pondered what Lily had said to him.
What if it was true? He knew you had a closer relationship with the other Slytherins, something he envied when he first started to get to know you. Your families ran in similar circles, and even though you were a half-blood, you had gained their respect and admiration through your hard work and captivating personality. But, even through all of that, you stayed by his side and only he knew your true thoughts. He knew how much you hated blood supremacy, and you shared a similar view of the Dark Arts and how they should be practiced and regulated. You cared about Potions very deeply, and you were incredibly understanding of Severus’ sometimes volatile nature. All in all, you were the only one that cared about him as a person, and that’s what made him fall for you.
As he contemplated his feelings for you, he didn’t notice you sneak up behind him until you covered his eyes with your hands.
“Guess who?” You said teasingly. His lips quirked up in a tiny smile, enormous by Severus standards. Your heart fluttered, knowing you were one of the few people that got to see it.
“Hello. How did you find me?” Severus asked, scooting over on the huge rock so that you could plop down beside him. You set your bag down and pulled your knees up to your chest, your head facing Severus.
“I just had a feeling you might be out here,” you replied, turning your head to keep him from seeing your cheeks heating up at his intense gaze.
“I–I have to ask you something.” Severus blurted. Your head shot back towards him, your stomach beginning to fill up with little honeybees doing their little waggle dance.
“Yeah, Sev?” You replied, your hands beginning to tremble. Was this it?
“I...I was wondering i-if you would be willing to…” He trailed off, swallowing. His Adam’s apple bobbed and he looked terribly uncertain, the splotches of soft crimson on his cheeks beginning to grow. The echoes of laughter from the grounds reached very faintly to your secluded area, but he was more focused on the blood rushing through his ears.
“Willing to what?” You asked, feeling a little bit out of breath. You hoped this was it. You had wanted this for so long, it hurt you to even think about it.
“Would you be willing to go on a date with me?” He mumbled, just loud enough for you to hear what he said. You inhaled sharply, hardly daring to believe the words that came out of his mouth.
“D-do you mean it? Do you mean it, Sev?” You asked, moving toward him insistently, demanding his response. He nodded.
“Of course I mean it,” he said, lacing his fingers together in an attempt to stop their shaking and he turned his head away from you and toward the lake, trying to will away his embarrassment.
Your mouth formed into a wide grin, and you covered it with your hand. You felt giddy, excited, elated, all of the emotions. It’s finally happening, you thought to yourself, your inner monologue becoming a bunch of flying hearts.
“Yes, Sev. Absolutely.”
A/N: I hope you liked this. Don’t know if this came off super slanderous towards Lily, I’ve never written her character before but I think she could be mean if she feels threatened in a way. Please let me know what you think and send me more requests, this was so fun to write! Also, if you want to be on the tag list, shoot me a dm!

Oh patron saint of mpreg, tell us, what is the absolute gold standard canon divergent mpreg scenario with Cas and Dean?
so for me the gold standard is for cas to get pregnant due to some kind of magical or metaphysical situation that dean at least does not perceive as sex. bonus points is cas is hesitant about it but refuses to explain why (because he doesn't know how dean will deal with the concept of himself being able to potentially get cas pregnant), so dean is like "we're doing it anyway" and then they do it and then cas doesn't tell anyone that he is pregnant until circumstances force the information out of him. and then dean has to deal with the fact that 1) cas can get pregnant, 2) cas is pregnant, 3) it's his, and he does so pretty poorly.
the rest is under a cut because this post is over 2.5k words long.
my favorite times for this to happen are at the end of season nine, just before dean dies and gets demonized in do you believe in miracles, and at the start of season twelve, just before sam and dean go to jail, because the pining in both those scenarios is delicious but it is so much more powerful if cas is also pregnant, and never even told dean. double points if the truth somehow comes out while they're separated so when dean comes back it's like. yeah cas is pregnant. it's yours. welcome home dean now you have to coddle cas' emotions because he thought he would have to raise your baby alone.
the season twelve scenario is particularly delicious because 1) we can have lucifer slut shaming cas in front of crowley in rock never dies, so crowley knows before dean, and 2) much more importantly, mary is there, and i am obsessed with like. okay. several things.
- the idea of mary getting all baby fever because she misses her boys and this is like. a baby she can take care of because she never got to take care of sam
- the idea of dean working through some of his parentification trauma by coparenting a child with the parent whose place he felt he had to take
- the idea of mary coming in and projecting her insane 1980s gender roles all over cas, suddenly treating him like a woman, stripping him of agency, etc. and like. dean would also do this even though he's not from the eighties, but mary would do it double strength, and they would reinforce each other, it would be a nightmare
- also mary trying to relate to cas on the Travails Of Motherhood etc. and cas being like ?????????? like i cannot stress enough that the weird gender roles she projects onto cas are also standards that she held herself to back when she was a Wife And Mother. while cas is like mary i am not a human woman and also i don't see what "having to look pretty for my man when i'm all baby bloaty" has to do with anything. that's not something i feel like i have to do
oh and 3) could you imagine lily sunder has some regrets if cas was pregnant? unfathomable episode. like ishim and mirabel's reaction but ALSO lily's. and it would fix the number one issue i have with lily sunder, which is that the resolution of the moral dilemma is "well AKSHUALLY the kid was human and not a nephilim so killing it was bad" rather than "it was bad to kill lily's baby, full stop." like ishim's cover up and using the machinery of power to manipulate the truth is very compelling, but the fact that it results in the moral essentially being "it would have been okay if the kid had been a nephilim" suuuuuucks.
basically, there's a reason i have two entire mpreg aus set in season twelve.
and then the delicious part in the season nine version is like. one, dean is away for much longer and he could be anywhere. also he's a demon and he's cheating on cas with crowley. and then even when cas gets him back he's still cursed with the mark, so we can get all weepy over that. you know. i'm the one who's going to have to watch you murder the world and i'm eight months pregnant. etc etc.
but the other thing that's juicy about this version is that cas is still semi-involved with the other angels at this point, like he's roadtripping around with hannah and they're trying to get heaven under control, so carrying a nephil is going to really affect those relationships. so he's going to be probably disliked by the other angels, and there are MANY opportunities for slut-shaming, but at the same time, the other "outcast" type angels might respect him for violating heaven's dictates.
and then of course there's his grace vampirism victorian wasting disease. in canon he's perfectly happy to let himself die, but if he were having dean's baby he would absolutely not do that, that's dean's baby he's endangering there. so of course there's the terrible guilt of having to kill other angels so he can live, plus potentially preparing to die shortly after childbirth so he doesn't have to keep killing. delicious.
and on top of all this cas can get slutshamed by metatron in, depending on when exactly he gets knocked up, meta fiction, stairway to heaven, and do you believe in miracles. plus stairway to heaven would be insane like all the angels would know that cas is pregnant. they would see it in his grace. like cas' angel army would just. know that he was pregnant with a nephil, and have to accept that because he's their leader. in love with humanity indeed.
i'm trying to think of other good times for this drama with cas getting secretly pregnant through a nonsexual interaction to take place. it would be great in season six. like: he's doing a blasphemy with his body but at the same time he's this big important rebel leader so they can't say shit about him, and also he's pregnant while fighting these big important battles (fun and sexy), AND this is like, hot on the heels of the realization that something about his feelings for dean is untoward, expands beyond the bounds of ordinary friendship and camaraderie. like he realizes that, and maybe even that he has sexual feelings for dean, and then he gets immediately knocked up. stunning.
it would ALSO be extremely fun for it to be some kind of... i don't know, magical longer gestation times, whatever, but for cas to have gotten pregnant sometime in s5 and only realized during the Year Of Lisa. LOVE to watch a man rake leaves while both metaphorically carrying the taint of taboo sexual feelings for him and literally carrying his child.
but the thing about season six is, first of all, cas isn't really... envisioning a future with dean. not the way he does in the later seasons. like does he fantasize about a future with dean? yes. like. he really did watch that motherfucker rake leaves. but it's only fantasy. he expected to never speak to dean again after swan song until dean prayed to him in the third man. he's obsessed with dean, but it's distant. remote.
like, we talk about cas babytrapping dean in the later seasons with jack, and he absolutely does, and he would do it even more if dean got him literally pregnant, but that babytrap is about... how do i put this. it's about winning dean's affection. late seasons cas knows that he's going to die by dean's side. the difference that babytrapping dean makes is that maybe it will get dean to be nice to him in the mean time, instead of discarding him like so much toilet paper.
but season six cas doesn't think of it like that. if he were gonna babytrap dean, it would be in the more traditional sense of forcing dean to stay with him in order to raise their child together. and he would never do that. he wants dean to have a happy future, which in his mind does not include him. like, compare here "he's retired and he's to stay that way" in the man who would be king, where cas assumes that dean is happy without him and expects him to live out his days peacefully without ever seeing him again, to "i'm the one who's going to have to watch you murder the world" in the prisoner, where cas assumes that he will be by dean's side for centuries.
but anyway, the other, much more important problem with season six is that cas has a war to fight. like, in the later seasons, cas really has nothing. even when he's on tenuous good terms with the angels, he doesn't really have a home with them. the winchesters are his family, and he'd give up anything for them. he has nothing in his life. he's at rock bottom, and this becomes truer the further along you go. late seasons cas has nothing he would prioritize over serving the winchesters, and he would be happy dropping anything he was involved in to have and raise dean's baby. parenting would give him a purpose that he no longer has, because everything else has been stripped from him.
but in season six cas has a life outside of them. like yes, he has a war to fight, but he also has a place in heaven, with the other angels. he belongs somewhere, he has solid connections to the outside world. even if he didn't have a war to fight, i don't know how excited he would be to have and raise a baby (even dean's baby) because he simply has other things he could be doing. he's involved in the world beyond the winchesters.
like, the reason cas wants to be a parent is that he is totally alone and totally purposeless. having a child gives him both a reason for being and someone who will always love him and who he can care for. if he doesn't have that hole in his life he might not be so eager to fill it with a baby.
for all these reasons, this plotline really doesn't work in season six, because you simply cannot justify cas not getting an abortion, unless you do something nasty like make angel abortion impossible, which i don't love.
you COULD somehow put the impregnation just at the end of season six, maybe just before the man who would be king, such that cas doesn't realize he's pregnant until he's already godstiel. you guys are unfortunately very aware of how obsessed i am with pregnant godstiel.
actually, @jeanne-de-valois has a concept of like. a single, madness fueled midnight hookup immediately pre-tmwwbk (or maybe even during, but prior to the superman mistake), where cas is simultaneously so stressed from being stretched so thin from the war and the lying and the shady dealings, and so high on being The Big Man In Heaven, that he's bold and out of his mind enough to actually come onto dean, like he just appears one night in dean's bedroom and is like, fuck me, and dean is like 👁👄👁 okay. so they have one single adrenaline and madness fueled hookup, and then everything immediately goes to shit.
and i think that's a great place for cas to get pregnant, and then he doesn't realize until he's become god, or maybe he does and he's just like "i'll deal with it later," either way godstiel is like oh? i carry dean's heir inside me? i will have dean's baby. i will have dean's baby it is my right and also my boon to him and also a symbol of my great and magnanimous love for humanity. and also maybe i will put giant paintings of myself pregnant with his child up in churches. what about that. which would be fun. don't know when he would give birth though. actually it would be insane if he gave birth as emmanuel and was just like. raising dean's nephil when dean found him again. nuts. but it just doesn't really have the same flavor as late seasons mpreg. doesn't compel me nearly as much. like the symbolism of godstiel being pregnant with dean's child is fun and sexy but them actually raising the kid afterwards doesn't compel me nearly as much, so it's better to leave literal mpreg to the later seasons and let godstiel mpreg reside in symbolism and fantasy.
or maybe the fetus gets stolen by the leviathans when cas walks into the lake and dean has to battle his leviathanated nephil daughter as the main villain of s7. like she's dick roman's secret weapon. i think that would be fun, actually. kind of an emma situation but drawn out over the whole season. and he thinks cas is dead for most of it so she's all he's got left of cas and a mess cas left for him to clean up. big sexy.
and as a bonus, i will also tell you the best time, imo, for dean to get pregnant: near the end of season eight. possibly a single, tragic farewell fuck in sacrifice when cas is planning to lock himself away in heaven and they're never gonna see each other again. and this impregnates dean with cas' nephil.
but then cas is human. and he can't do anything about it. like generally if they managed to get dean pregnant somehow, cas would immediately talk him into an abortion (which wouldn't be too hard; dean's natural white midwestern man who doesn't vote aversion to abortion would be at war with the horror of being pregnant, and the horror would win), or might not even inform dean that he's pregnant, and just quietly end the pregnancy without dean's knowledge, because cas would never put dean through that. but if cas is human, he can't do that. and furthermore, that nephil is the last evidence of his angelic nature that persists. it's the last of what he used to be, the last of his grace. and there's something absolutely delectable about that.
then of course dean would have to leave the bunker if he was pregnant with a nephil, because angels would be after him, and he wouldn't want to lead them to gadreel, so i am imagining dean discovering that he's pregnant and then showing up in a panic at the gas n sip like "actually cas i'm also out of the bunker will you go on the run with me?" and then they go on the run and have to live in motels again and cas gets to live with take care of dean who is pregnant with his child which is essentially his dream, and he doesn't have to feel guilty because he's no longer capable of giving dean an abortion so he doesn't feel obligated to get him to have one. ideally cas gets re-angeled just in time to give dean an angelic c-section. or maybe they rely on a normal human c-section in a hospital and cas stays human and they are two humans raising their nephil, which is also fun to me.

Introduction
Nabi masterlist
Lee Nabi: -5th member of Blackpink
-debuted on August 8th, 2016
-Birthday: August 2nd, 1999
-Position: Maknae, Main Vocal, Sub Rapper, Lead Dancer
Tumblr media
About Nabi: -Became a trainee in 2012, debuted in 2016 at the fresh age of 17
- very introverted, easily intimidated and doesn't really speak unless spoken to (though she's gotten better)
- is fluent in English and Korean
- Was born and raised in Canada
- younger cousin (by like 9 hours) of Mark Lee (NCT)
- The Lee Twins laugh in big (you know what I mean)
- Mark and Nabi aren’t twins, but they’re born on the same day so it’s like a fun little joke (their dads are brothers)
- they lived near each other their entire lives, might as well be siblings considering they were always at each others houses
-both auditioned around the same time with different companies because they heard companies don't often debut relatives (they were wrong but what’s done is done)
- Mark and Nabi are best friends, they had to be
- She's surprisingly popular in Canada (and the western market in general)
- Mark and Nabi are considered the "the most dynamic related pair" in modern kpop
- Mark+Nabi+Lily are the “kpop triplets”
- Lily (NCT), Yeri (Red Velvet), Tzuyu (Twice) and Nabi are an iconic quadruple
- Even though there are 4 of them, they’re nicknamed the “big 3″ since they’re all from one of the big 3 companies
- Mark is always pushing her out of her comfort zone, being one of the few people she's comfortably mischievous around
- polar opposites though. As kids, Mark was always so talkative and you would often let him talk for you, maybe you faded into the background a bit but you preferred it that way
- fans love to see them interact
- they support each other always. Find someone that promotes their twin better than them
- One of YG's aces (like Mark is SM's), they count their lucky stars they found her first
- Has friends throughout the industry
- loves songwriting, is even accredited on some of Blackpink's songs
- if she has your number, even if you aren't particularly friends, you'll receive a birthday text of some sort and a multitude of congratulations for every accomplishment
- Honestly the sweetest idol you could meet
- find someone with something mean to say about Nabi, I dare you
-she's one of the taller members at 5'6 but Lisa still has a couple of centimetres on her
- All the Blackpink girls have brand ambassadorships, Nabi’s is Prada (like Rosé has YSL) + more individual and group ones
- She might be small, but say something rude about her members and she'll fight you (and probably win)
- loves her sisters with all her heart, they're her family
Relationship with her members: Jisoo: The eldest member, though Blackpink doesn't have an official member Jisoo and Jennie take on most of that responsibility. Even as trainees, Jisoo took the younger (scared and naive) Nabi under her wing and took care of her in a way an older sister would. That's what she was, the older sister you never had. Everyone knows you're quiet, but Jisoo has a way of making you talk like it's the most natural thing in the world. She tends to always circle back during interviews if she feels you had something to say or was cut off earlier. Jisoo always makes sure you get your say. Nabi feels safe around Jisoo, comfortable like she could do anything. Jisoo, being a quieter person naturally too, notices the little things like if you're quieter than usual or stare at yourself just a tad bit too long in the mirror. She always seems to have what you need before you know you need it, like a hug (she gives the best hugs) or a water bottle.
Jennie: Your first became friends as trainees when she offered to help with your rapping if you helped with her dance. People tried to stir up some sort of competition between you two because of your friendship but neither of you really understood why. Those rumours died down pretty fast after. Jennie thinks of you as her little baby (like Jisoo does) and always makes sure you eat and drink properly. She makes her affection known, through hand-holding and other physical connections. Jennie always lets you know how pretty you look when you start to doubt it, your biggest hype woman. The fans like to notice that Jennie always has a hand on you in public like she knows you're internally freaking out and is there for moral support.
Rosè: The two of you have been best friends since the second you met. You both bonded over the fact you had accents, were so far from home, had the same birthday, and the fact singing was both your main passions. Unlike Jisoo and Jennie, she doesn't feel the need to watch over you so intently, but she never lets you forget that you're the maknae and always has an eye out. Rosè is the best friend you could ask for, honestly, if you didn't know who either was you'd assume they were sisters. Rosè is naturally very touchy-feely with people she's comfortable with, and you often bear the brunt of her cute clingy personality (not that you mind, Rosè is one of your favourite people on the planet.) Fans like to notice that the two of you occasionally link pinkies, for no other reason than to hold each other.
Lisa: She's a little dance machine. You met her as a trainee and was honestly a little intimidated by her extroverted personality and confidence, but once you got to know her you became two peas in a pod. Like Rosè she doesn't feel the need to watch over you, feeling as though having Jennie and Jisoo is overbearing enough. Lisa is the one that pulls you out of your comfort zone the most, always inviting you to hang out with new people (which is how you made so many friends) and always circling back to you on interviews and making you talk. She doesn't make you uncomfortable, not by any means, but Lisa always knows how much to pull without freaking you out. As trainees, Lisa had to learn Korean, and with Nabi's help, is now fluent. They became close through learning the language, there were many late nights spent together as you both brushed up on the new language.
Together: - What Nabi doesn't have in extroverted prowess and talkative traits, she makes up for with heart - Maknae on top, those four girls will praise Nabi to the ends of the world and kiss every booboo better - Rosè, Lisa, and Nabi make up the maknae line and as the Gen Z members, are unlawfully chaotic -sometimes Jisoo and Jennie have to separate the three of you in interviews because one look can cause a laughing fit that can go on for hours - Nabi, like Jisoo, notices the little things, she's quite meticulous actually - You're the first to know any secret, and the girls find it easy to confide in you because you always have an ear out for them - nothing they have ever told you have gotten out - when they're upset, sometimes all they want is a warm hug from Nabi - find someone that promotes Blackpink better than Nabi - When the girls have their own individual solo activities, find someone that promotes them better than Nabi. - you all support each other through everything -you're family, sisters, what else can you say?
Housing situation: - the five of you had lived in dorms for nearly 10 years together, some of those dorms had been pretty horrifying and you all decided enough was enough - once you all gained some success you decided to move out comfortably - all of your apartments are nearby - often though, you find yourself spending more time at one of their homes instead of your own - sometimes you'll ever sleepover with one of them - the five of you will raid each other's closest comfortably. At this point, nobody is sure of what they bought or what they took.
