And I understand your pain... Not enough BurningCheese content of any kind, at least on the Western side. Asian side of the fandom is filled to bursting with fanart and stuff. I think the problem is that most people on our side of the fence are terrified to ship it publicly because there's a risk of harassment and ostracization from the others, because boo hoo toxic boo hoo abuser x abused (and then they'll turn around and ship Hollyt4ya and ShadowSp1ce like the cowardly hypocrites they are lol). I'm tempted to assume most of my asks are anonymous for that reason. It's a shame, really. It's all a shame. Shame that BurningCheese doesn't get the love and attention it deserves and shame that anyone who tries to give it is burned at the stake for it

But I really do encourage you to post content! Pretty please! The world always needs more BurningCheese stuff. I'm only one person, I can't do it all alone haha

I found shadow milk really annoying before I got back into crk, because all the ads I got of the game were in english and used his english voice, and I found it generic and obnoxious. He didn’t sound like a unique character at all and sounded very stereotypical

Then I actually installed the game, heard his korean voice and I kid you not, instantly fell in love. His Korean voice does so much for his character, even reading the official english dialogue it made his character so much better just hearing the tone of voice he used. I love how deep and theatrical it is

This is LITERALLY the Tumblr Sexyman-ification shit @burningcheese-merchant mentioned in a convo we had that famous artists fell into the silly jester propaganda which also leads to so many shadowcanilla fanarts mischaracterizing PV to conform to his tastes. PV is also LITERALLY COOKIE JESUS and yet so little people actually depict him like that. 😭 (He beat up SM's ass because he's telling him to get his shit together and he could've killed Black Sapphire and Candy Apple too in the Korean version. :( )

I even wonder if people would even have the same hype if the REAL Shadow Milk characterization from Korean, the game's REAL language origin, was actually conveyed through En Localization<-(sucks ass and ruins every single character to the point they're not the same!!!)

Golden Cheese would choke and die from the physical manifestation of her own pride and ego before she could ever utter a sentence that open and honest. Hollyberry is choosing to laugh it all off and pray she can drink away and not think about it. White Lily would fall into another witch pot of bubbling goo before confronting said feelings. Only Pure Motherfucking Vanilla is that clincally batshit and unburdened to spout his feelings 1000% unfiltered to a guy who just killed his friends and got his rocks off psychologically torturing him.

Mystic Flour being utterly repulsed by such naïve, meaningless sentimentality, still clinging to the remains of the apathy she so cherishes and champions even as it slips through her fingers like flour through a sieve; hating herself to her very core because somewhere within it, she KNOWS her heart beats and aches for that ridiculous man, but she would end her own suffering before she allowed the truth to poke its head out from the shadows of her subconscious for even a single second

Burning Spice knowing how he feels for Golden Cheese, reveling in it, LIVING for the way his heart thunders in his chest and his breath hitches at the mere thought of his little bird. Never being afraid to tell her so, to pour out the contents of his dark heart without any filter (and Witches know he needs one at times...), either through his mouth or through the blade of his axe. And, above all of these things, bundling up the other 4 Beasts' feelings and tucking them away... Above all else, they are angry. They are angry at Shadow Milk. Because he achieved what none of them could. He got everything he wanted. His Ancient admitted his love for him, with all of the raw sincerity one could possibly afford another. The other Beasts would do ANYTHING to hear their Ancients speak to them in such a way. To acknowledge and embrace their connection, to confess to loving and longing for them; for their countenance, for their voice, for their touch, for their very souls. Shadow Milk got to reunite with his other half - who chose him willingly, wholeheartedly.

And Shadow Milk chose to throw it all away in the end. Let it all go to waste.

If any of them ever see him again, they're going to let him know EXACTLY how they feel about it all. Maybe it can count as practice towards crafting a proper heartfelt confession.

Greetings from the castle!

It's great to hear from you all, it has been a while hasn't it? And thank you for your gifts, we'll make sure to put it amongst the pile of gifts he has received. As always, he is loved by everyone here.

The festivities has been a huge success and the prince has enjoyed the 1 week celebration for the holidays. This time, the other staff were planning on making the celebration for the new years to be even longer, but his highness' advisor had to put a stop to it before it gets out of control.

During the holidays, the prince had been adamant on kissing the advisor under the mistletoe, even going as far as to ask us to lead them under one while he waits just out of sight. So far he hasn't been successful in that regard. The closest he has been was right after the holiday ball near the balcony, unfortunately he passed out in their arms a few inches from the advisers face.

Another thing, the prince has been giving gifts to the adviser since the 1st day of the winter month. He has seem to be taken by that song '12 days of Christmas' that has been popular recently, so his gifts followed the lyrics up until the last day. However, it still went on until the 25th, but we never knew what the gifts were past the original 12. The adviser has been secretive in opening the gifts, but they always seem to turn red before rushing off somewhere.

We asked the prince himself but all we get is a dreamy sigh and something about 'toys for the bedroom'. We did not know the adviser likes to play toys in their spare time.

Other than that, the holidays has been good and everyone seems to have a great time here. We of course, also bring gifts for everyone, we understand how cold it is in the frontlines so we have prepared thick blankets and proper cloaks for everyone to enjoy, the kitchen staff also prepared candies and other delicacies to bring in the holiday cheer.

May the Royal Knights prosper and may this holiday bring in joy to everyone!
