unfortunately the way they treat Lisa Cuddy is narratively really interesting and the way she and House's relationship crash and burn says SO MUCH about House and his existence and place in the world as who he is in the context of love as he's able to experience it and I could say SO much about it and what it adds but it would require me to be mean to Lisa Cuddy and I WON'T DO IT!!! There is too much nuance and layers to cover and I am lazy.
