After witnessing that delightful bundle of chaos and pinkeye, I genuinely don't think I'm prepared for the shows going forward

#like arrfgggdiakaktmcksmsama this was literally all for me like they knew what they were doing#i love character design i love pokemon i love miku. and then you put ALL THREE TOGETHER....#i will explain some of my choices here#poison miku is just too good but also i am a big sucker for freaky scientists with constant “worry” eyebrows#her design is just so out there and crazy (this is about the shoes. some understand the greatness of the shoes and some dont. and thats ok.)#every other miku in peak i think establishes their theme exeptionally well especially ghost bug and fighting#for ghost i already love spooky and gloomy looking characters and that miku delivers tenfold (of course shes designed by the GOAT take)#esp with the mix of ghostly and electronic/digital regarding the glitchy parts n the 01 hologram#she looks like shell invade my computer and give it a virus if i dont send the chainmail about her tragic file corruption to 10 friends#(in the best way possible)#for bug miku the big dress is a huge plus but also i just think shes adorable nuff said#for fighting - i love a delinquent character and she fits that really well. the half coat thing is a big highlight for me#also the leek theme is absolutely iconic#for the ones i didnt like as much - i honestly just think the koraidon one is a leeeeetle bit boring#dont get me wrong. it has really cool aspects like the hair and the koraidon like cape but idk#it feels like theres a lot going on but not that much at the same time? its still a really nice design tho esp the hair color#for the ones in yellow tier - i just dont like the color palletes very much . theyre still really nice designs esp fire miku#but all in all these are genuinely all amazing designs and i dont want to be too critical or mean to any of them esp seeing im not a pro#but this was really fun to see unfold!!! cant wait until the songs start dropping#in the topic of miku as well - hey muse dash where's my miku on the switch version....#please dont make us wait too long 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

I went to see the Barbie movie today!!
Look at this.
Now your Barbie can have a mental breakdown too! Sleep well tonight knowing you two have debilitating anxiety and existential dread in common :D
If you're on the fence about this film- watch it. It was hella funny, the set designs were spectacular (it all looked like toys! My childhood dream of being able to shrink so I could use my toys things kinda came true today), wonderful acting, and it has a lot to say.
My favourite part might have been seeing the other movie-goers though. Everyone wore pink! Yes, including me, and I slayed in it. One guy genuinely looked like a Ken doll! Gosh I had so much fun.

This is my island, Starfall!!!!! I had vague but elaborate lore for it and the residents, some sort of mystical enchanted forest town that's home to some strange guys (a mermaid on land, a vampire, an alien..... two random old OCs of mine LMFAOOO and MEEEEEE 💖)
These are only snippets of Starfall, so I recommend visiting if you're interested! Plus I. Worked hard on it and am still proud of some of my builds 🫣 It was never Finished finished, but also it's at a point where I don't wanna do anything else but nuke it 😅

Had a bad dream about my laptops last night. Dreampt that both of them ended up getting viruses.

I plan on working on updating my Windows XP laptop from service pack 2 to service pack 4 today and seeing if I can verify the Windows installation and maybe update more drivers anyway lol

I enjoyed the ending quite a bit it just took a bit too long to get there for me?#I thought the spooky forest king stuff could have been creepier - like there’s bits telling us he looks unearthly and creepy#but then every actual desciption and the way he acts was very average teen boy so I never got that vibe?#There were also a number of initial ‘explanations’ of the things going on that amounted to ‘it doesnt make sense it’s just like that;#and it would be dangerous to explain it to you’ which didn’t help with the middle section dragging bc not much was happening or explained.#It explores some important themes around purity culture and religious suppression of women’s sexuality ;#it just mostly hits at the end. I just wish we got to that a bit faster maybe? idk#I had assumed this was queer for some reason* but it does have a pretty generic m/f romance that I wasn’t that into#though I do understand relevancy of that re: the themes#(*there’s a nonbinary character and a bit where I couldn’t quite tell if it was implying she might be bi or just talking about#queerness in general)

I have issues with that other user's creepy to wet spectrum of king gizzard albums so here's mine
#I've omitted the ones I haven't really listened to#albums are ordered from creepiest to wettest within tiers#it's mainly just that the ones that have a lot of horror and apocalyptic themes are up in the creepy category#and the ones that are more jaunty and/or have a lot of water imagery are wet#eyes like the sky isn't all *that* creepy but anything about the old west is automatically a little hauntological yknow#live in san fran would be creepier but it also has a couple of really wet songs in the back half pulling it back#sketches of brunswick east is really chill overall but does have a song about fucking a spider#which is really creepy#polygondwanaland would be sopping but they can't stop talking about eye gore#KG would be wetter but intrasport is a NIN song and some of us is just very spooky#all of the middle tier ones have lots of both creepy and wet songs#or one of each in laminated denim's case
