(This is just a fun “what if” so bear with me-) I know we make mention of the potential for Krang remnants to be stuck with Raph and/or Donnie, but Mikey and Leo also had a moment with the other two where a type of Krang goop was crawling beneath their skin (this being immediately after Raph broke free.)

So I raise you the potential for all four of them to have a bit of that Krang parasite on them…and for that to have unforeseen consequences.

Warriors and Legend's dynamic is the most ridiculous thing ever

Warriors is the one who would torment Legend for daring being his bitter and salty as fuck self

To the point where he would probably bully the other into being less bitter just because he kept saying how horrible the other's existence was

And Legend had to prove him wrong on principle

Warriors be that kind of older brother who smashes Legend’s head into the cake and then gets him a new one

He definitely seems like the type to make fun off legend

While also having his arm ready to grab him if they are near any form of escape

Who is he going to tease if the rabid rat is gone

An older sibling's teasing and love towards the middle child is ALWAYS the most devious and dangerous there is

The rest of the chain are not the ultimate middle children

That’s all Legend with his teenage angst and physical reaction towards Warriors' existence

He visibly experiences pain when Warriors is getting any kind of success

He has to ruin it or else he won’t reach the most inner peace of being a demon spawn that any middle child craves to have for once

They are so older sibling and their younger rat sibling coded

Like even if Legend gets put under mind control or something (because of his dark form) he would rather get into an argument with Warriors and stop in the middle of killing somebody to tell him he is the worst thing in the universe

Then actually be controlled

The sibling rivalry is TOO fierce for even the strongest kind of mind control

The urge to be a gremlin is too powerful

The chain has to constantly drag those two away from each other because Warriors loses any and all maturity and self control when in general proximity to Legend

Time , Sky and Twilight be berating him on being too harsh

Just like any other parent does because you are bigger and older

Even when the younger one started it (the universal experience is no joke Legend was giving him the middle finger behind the others's back)

And the cycle continues

While also trying to force them both to be friends even if they are more or less the weirdest but best friends anyway

With their only night ones being either negative for their relationship or goodbyes/something final (knowing or unknowing)

Also shoutout to the shed scene which I just realized is done at night despite being romantic because it is their last moment like that before El gets back!

Also makes me wonder about the ily2 scene, which takes place in the morning, and if that is, rather, emphasizing the fact that it's the first scene in the plotline of Mike's inability to say he loves her. That would make sense as, though it's played as romantic, we now know that it is starting a big plotline for the following season.

(If you're confused, mornings = new beginnings, night = endings is one of the oldest tricks in the book. So mornings is what will be their future and nights is what is/needs to come to a close. It's near universal, if not universal)

A great, direct example of this is also simply Mike saying goodbye to El at night and then staying up at the hospital to say hello to Will in the morning in 1x08. Establishes this really clearly for the audience.

Also, of course, can't talk about lighting without bringing up...

In general, seasons are typically ended in the morning with hints and lead-ins to the future seasons - with Mike, this is consistently El. The one time it ends with El, the season ends at night.

So I've been thinking about how the "iron hurts them" rules of ghosts actually works. Like we know that solid iron is very painful for them (yes yes despite Edwin's seemingly indifferent expression to it we still know it stings pretty bad by Charles' reactions) but I've been wondering, since iron is like a commonly occuring element in varying amounts and forms, just HOW much iron do they have to be exposed to for it to hurt? Would say the amount of iron in food hurt them? Like would eating a dark chocolate bar or a leaf of spinach hurt them? Would it hurt to the same degree of pain as a solid iron cane or would it be a smaller but still there pain? Like would it be similar to the same difference between my walnut and cashew allergic reactions, how the amount matters for the walnuts but cashews it's an intense reaction no matter the amount I was exposed to? If they react to the amount of iron in edible things, would it burn like a physical hot pain or would it burn like an allergic reaction on the tongue? Also still on the allergic reaction analogy, Since they supposedly can breathe (due to the actor's need to breathe) their air passageways and lungs must work at least in some capacity and does this mean they could theoretically have an anaphylactic reaction still? Would they still allergically react to things that would cause allergic reactions in life? Or would iron cause this new ghostly allergic reaction if ingested?Also would the iron in other people's blood cause it to hurt if they came in contact with their blood? Like say, Crystal gets a cut on her hand and touches one of their arms would that hurt them? Does different states of iron matter to how painful it is too? Like iron in liquid forms like blood differ from it in solids like iron bars and foods? I'm so curious to all the inner workings of their inability to touch iron

am i the only person who tends to think of pain in pitch?

as in, pain can be “high pitch” or “low pitch” — if its sharp, like a paper cut or heartburn or aching, its high pitch; if its like a stubbed toe or sore muscles or a headache, its low pitch

high pitch pain is when you hiss, low pitch pain is when you groan, etc etc

i dont know if this makes sense to anyone else?????

(because everytime im writing fanfiction i have to hold myself back from describing it that way — and im not even sure i could fully, effectively communicate that w/o breaking immersion — but me saying “sharp pain” has become. a problem. probably. i really need alternatives)
