I relate to the 9-1-1 writers the most when they're like we want to put our blorbos in situations but we don't care about the situations outside of how they affect our blorbos.

Okay so: In Jonah 1:17 when the fish is first mentioned, he is called "dag gadol" ("dog gah-dole") and that is "the huge fish". And "dag" is a masculine noun, because Hebrew like most languages has gendered words.

But then, when in Chapter 2 "Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh his God from the innards of the fish" inexplicably this word fish is "dagah" and the "-ah" is the feminine ending of the word which makes the noun feminine and so now it's a big mama fish.

So, it goes from male fish, to female fish. And some stupid scholars think this is a scribal error, but I think they are nincompoops. This is absolutely on purpose and has to do with the whole rebirth theme of Jeremiah and Isaiah (and also Jesus because Jesus dies in childbirth). Jonah enters the womb of the sea monster (the Hebrew is fish, but when Jesus talks about Jonah, the greek is for "ketos" "sea monster"), who is really just God's rubber ducky, and then gets vomited out reborn as a prophet who can accomplish God's will.
