I hate occupying space.

I feel like I have to make myself as small as possible.

I shouldn't laugh too loud, or smile too big, or talk too much, or be seen for too long. I shouldn't exist loudly.

Someone like me has to stay quiet. I mustn't bother others.

Maybe I'm weird, but not the good kind – not the tolerable kind. Not the type that would make others roll their eyes and playfully say, "Oh, you!".

I'm the type with sideways glances between strangers and complaints about me behind my back. I'm the type that annoys and aggravates.

It's just so hard, occupying space without guilt when I am just too much, and then too little, and then too much again all the time.

Which is it, then? How can I exist in a way that won't go through so much scrutiny? Why is being autistic so fucking lonely and wrong all the time?

I truly, TRULY do not know how to say this, because the fact that I have to say it makes me feel like I am losing my grip on reality. But no, in the post-capitalistic anarchist utopia, I will not be relying on “autistic minecraft girlies” to be building inspectors because - and this may shock you - one of those occupations takes years of education in how to read and interpret hundreds of thousands of lines of regulations based on complicated math and physics that were the result of decades of tragedy and death, and the other one involves playing a children’s video game.

Apparently much-needed reminder that reposting artists' art (by saving the images or screenshotting them and reuploading them yourself) on other platforms without the artists' expressed permission and without credit is theft and an insult to their passion and craft. You are profiting (in views, in attention, in feedback) from someone else's work and ideas, who do not get that feedback for sharing their creation.

i do sometimes wonder, if the people who get on your case about not updating, understand the level of work that goes into creating things. like obviously, of course, i understand that i have gone a significant amount of time without updating and i GET it. i do. i just am busy, i don't know what else to say. but like, it is work right? like getting out a chapter a week is essentially like having another part-time job. which is why i've needed to take a break. cause i just don't have the time / energy for another part-time job right now. and i don't mind people asking about when fics will update, i really don't. what i do mind is people being like "REALLY you need this much time??" Like DAMN excuse me. i am doing my best. it takes energy and time to create. and i do that for free in the spaces between all the things that i have to do otherwise. idk. idk what the point of this is. other than being like, you must have never made anything, if you don't understand why sometimes it takes time.
