The Timeless Strings

Remember you asked for growth. Do not be so surprised when life challenges you.

This beautiful cover version draws inspiration from Joni Mitchell's song “California.” This is a poetic and introspective song that reflects on longing and the search for meaning. Well, I know I haven't written a fic in a long time. Probably in like 5 or 6 years. I know some of you love the little relationship I had going in my main fic. I just want to say that I probably won't get back to it.

I love writing. I loved writing that fic. I loved everything about it. Actually, I really love everything I've written. It's something I can go back and read and be proud of, knowing that I did that, and I think it's pretty fantastic.

I still think of things I would like to write about with the Alex and Mus saga. I think about that fic a lot, actually. I just can't bring myself to write on it anymore. It's not because I don't want it to continue, I don't feel that I should.

So, for now, I am putting that part of my life behind me. I may come back to it in a few months, a few years, or never again. Who knows?

At any rate, thank you to all of you who have read, liked, shared, commented, bookmarked, etc. You all have given me the greatest confidence knowing that if I put my mind to it, if I really drove past whatever mind road blocks I have, that I could write an amazing story about anything and everything I could possibly imagine.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all of you. Even those of you who lurk on my pages and don't comment, share, or like the fic.
