hello again, i have returned briefly thanks to a new friend's allowing me to utilize their wifi hotspot- (thank you deranged_abberation2443 on reddit!!) and i wanted to also say thank you to everyone who has helped even by simply reblogging my prior posts as even if you are unable to donate, any amount of visibility is not only helpful but neccesary.

i come to you now happy to still be alive- head hurting from the explosions - despite the hell we have all endured so far- this morning we said our prayers and it was as if for a brief moment- nature itself stood with us- i reminded myself to admire the present moment for my sanity would wane without these small moments of gratitude.

it is far from over.

since last posting, i have known 5 people whom were incredibly close to me to either be killed in the rubble or succumb to their untreated wounds. it is hell on earth. in heaven, there is another gaza, one filled with our fallen friends and family, all smiling and happy and free- waiting with open arms for the rest of us to finally come home.

for us still tasked with our time here in gaza on earth- we absolutely still need your help. if there is anything you can do- do it. friends in the western world- protest, bring light to this hidden horror, call it what it is- a genocide. disturb the comfort and peace so easily used to forget the truth of your neighbors crying for help, disturb public events with cries of gaza' s need, it is not rude but necessary- tell anyone who will listen and shout it at those who will not- we need you our brothers and sisters of the human race. please help us be free from this rampant and horrific inhumane injustice to our people. we are victims of someone elses perception of wrongdoing. we have nothing to do with the people killing us, we are just being made an example for some unrelated and greedy or monsterous need.

I was having this conversation with a girl and she asked me what I thought of Disney Princesses and my response was “I like the newer ones I’m not a huge fan of the old Disney princesses considering most of their Storylines revolved around men. Some day I hope they have a lesbian Disney Princess”. (That’s a simplified version of what I said) and she replied “I hope they never have a gay Disney Princess”. So of course I asked her why and her entireeee arguement was “I don’t think we should be exposing kids to that, we need to repopulate the Earth”. Like those two statements completely contradict each other. People with ideology like this are just dumb. For starters if your kid is looking at two men holding hands and thinks of sex then clearly there’s a problem with how you’ve raised your child. Actually scratch that no matter how old you are if you look at a gay couple and immediately think of sex then you are the perverted one. See I could understand if you didn’t want children exposed to any sort of relationship/romance but that’s not the case. Unless there’s two gay men having sex directly in front of your child there isn’t really a problem. When I realized I liked girls I wasn’t thinking about sex I barely knew what it was, I just knew I that I had crushes on girls. Yes there are some instances where children are exposed to inappropriate content but in most cases it’s an accident (for example a 7 year old watches a music video with inappropriate language however stuff like this can be solved by simply having better control on your child’s media) but straight people post the same kind of content as well. We need to all stop always looking at the lgbtqia+ community in a perverted gaze.

“Easier to be angry than patient”

When I was making this I found myself angry that I couldn’t find any gender therapist or doctor that would respond to my emails for care in all of my city. I would shower looking up telling myself “it’s just like heights don’t look down and you’ll be fine” only to sink into bed and feel icky that I could see my cleavage those nights were the hardest. I found it difficult that I couldn’t depend on my support system to talk about these things with me about starting a fight and couldn’t find adequate Trans healthcare to alleviate this dysphoria. I thought if only I looks like a boy if I sounded like a guy people would not miss gender me so much people would be kinder if I could just blend in with cis gender society, this was a course a delusional fantasy but one that kept me up at night. I would tell myself it’s easier to be angry then patient because transition takes time not only for yourself but the people around you, still I found this “I have no enemies” approach failed me time after time. This piece represents the pinnacle of the fight against my dysphoria that I know now would grow into a festering depression and resentment for myself and others. I’ve now learned to be kinder to myself that my body does not dictate my being or brain “I think therefore I am” type attitude. For my fellow trans brothers and sisters, I feel you and I hear you this dysphoria thing blows but do not let it determine your day you are not your thoughts. You deserve to be loved and acknowledged for all you are even if you’re still questioning your gender identity you deserve to be loved so love the kid you used to be, love the person you will become, and love the person that you are today. Because you are one in a million a precious jewel hand sculpted and chiseled by the universe itself do not treat yourself as any lesser regardless of your physiology, your biology, or your spirit you belong here just like the rest of us and you deserve to take up space and be cherished.
