I've recently been started to join in on some new fandoms but I just wanna point out a few similarities that I have been blatantly noticing a few similarities between these Two Movies.

"The Sea Prince and The Fire Child" (also known as "The Legend of Sirius") and "Tabaluga" (also known as "Ice Princess Lilly").

Why am I thinking that they are quite similar if you may ask despite many of their own differences to each of their own story? Well, here are some similarities that I wanted to point between these Two Movies.

Basically, Two Stories that share the Same "Star-Crossed" Lovers dynamic between Fire and H2O.

Which are based off of Actual Old Stories.

Male Protagonist is associated with a Certain Element who has a Loyal, Brave, and Fun Personality who has a Small Sidekick for a Friend.

Love Interest is also associated with Another Element (Has a Kind, Sweet, yet Gentle Personality).

Who's also got a Friend on the Same Elemental Race as Her.

Story also has some Backstory Lore that the Two Races were once One but for some reason that their love turned to hate against each other due to an Evil Being of Jealously.

Both Movies tend to develop a Romantic Story between Two Different Races of Elements between Fire and Hydrogen (Water/Ice).

Then at the End of their Story, both Lovers end up joining together beneath their own Lands where the Two Lands with their own Said Element become One again in Peace.

Now obviously, these Two Movies may strike a similar detail when it comes to Two Elements falling in love, but they're still not alike because the context of their own Storyline is completely different.

One that the ending in "The Sea Prince and The Fire Child" ends with Sirius and Malta dying together as they become the Stars while Tabaluga and Lilli in "Tabaluga" have their own Happy Ending where their Two Lands are in Terms together again (thus, no commits between suicide).

I'm not really too sure if "The Sea Prince and The Fire Child" was an inspiration to one of Peter Maffay's works in his "Tabaluga" series.

But I just couldn't help but notice some brief similarities between these Two Love stories that take up Two Different Elements between the Heat and the Cold into a Romeo and Juliet inspired story.

And also...

Both Movies also have a Wise Turtle Character.

Bet you didn't see Another Coincidence.

if i had a nickel for every time someone with a color in their name was unjustly incarcerated after losing their sibling and when a younger sibling believed they were abandoned by an older sibling which led them to join the enemy and eventually sacrifice themselves for the greater good, id have two nickels… but isn’t it strange that it happened twice?

been feeling a type of way lately about gritty characters. the characters who barrel through life with bloody fists and a broken nose. the scrappy, blow-for-blow, feral cat type of characters. the ones that fight their way through the most brutal conditions and are constantly up with their back against the wall, face to face with the worst possible odds but somehow they always find that one sliver-chance of survival and take it no matter the pain or the cost, and each time they go through something horrible the line for what they can endure moves even further, but they keep doing it. they keep on surviving the worst of the world because surviving is all they know.

basically. i just love it when characters are metaphorically drop kicked into a blender just to see how they'll be on the other side. bonus points if they're hot ofc.

something about the way fandoms blame Sirius for "abandoning" Regulus (he ran away from an abusive household) and Violet for "abandoning" Powder (literally never happened)🤨

or criticizing Sirius for not choosing Regulus (he's a death eater) and Violet for not choosing Jinx (the other option was killing Caitlyn) 🤨

or expecting Sirius (locked in Azkaban with dementors for 12 years) and Violet (beat up by prison guards since she was 16 for 7ish years)to be perfect, stable and make good decisions 🤨

well this isn't related but Sirius spent all his years in Azkaban thinking abt James and to avenge them and Vi called out for Powder so often, the guards thought she was a drug addict and the first thing they did after escaping/being freed is to find James's killer/Powder and their loyalty just makes me sob violently 😭

Sirius and Remus as Jayce and Viktor. Remus as Viktor because a) the illness that cannot be cured and b) his boyfriend (Sirius as Jayce) doesn't give a shit that it can't be cured and risks thousands of lives by keeping the magic hex core. Also cause they're mad scientists.

Vi and Jinx - the Rosier twins. Evan as Vi, Pandora as Jinx

Cait - Barty Crouch Jr, need I explain myself? Grew up wealthy realised the problems in society and got into fights etc (not saying the de are good but the rich-fighter kind of way)

Mel - Mary - gets with sirius for publicity for hex tech, but sirius is actually with remus

Ekko - Marlene. fight me. Dorcas as an OC who when marlene was in the other universe, they were together and when she got back gave her the courage to ask Dorcas out

Isha - I was thinking Pandora but then I thought little lily as isha

Vander - james. Big heart, takes care of everyone

Silco would be Regulus and secretly in love with James but hates himself for it so fights with him instead.

These were kind of the first few ideas I had, follows the main plot with a few slight changes. Other characters im not sure yet or could be ocs. also like a lot of marauders characters suit a lot of arcane characters so this was my best guess.

hi hello i present to you keeper characters and random other characters they are similar to:

sophie - percy jackson. neither wanted to be a “leader”, were forced into the role till they carried it with pride, uprooted from their original lives and told these insane truths that finally make all the weird shit make sense, can’t help but fall for people who they think don’t like them back but do but it takes forever to realize

fitz - mako from legend of korra. both unnecessarily hated, slightly protective older siblings, dated main character and didn’t end up with her, queer coded, angry all the time

keefe - sirius black from harry potter. hides behind jokes, in love with his best friend, emotionally inept (but working on it), 0 self esteem or self worth, parental abuse and trauma, doesn’t believed they can be loved.

biana - rarity from my little pony. generosity, loves her friends to the end and back, loves fashion, acts of service/being there for people, changes perspective on what beauty really is, gorgeous

tam - evan rosier from harry potter (actually MY mauraders tv show that i made in my head). the only thing they truly love is their twin sisters, would do anything to protect them (even though they are not at all helpless) & nothing is “too far” when it comes to it, CHOSE to be on their parents bad side/outcast when their sisters were forced out, ruthless, mistrusting, & funny asf

alvar - loki from the mcu (no redemption arc). i haven’t watched the show but based off prior knowledge, jealousy for his younger brother, looked over by his parents, does terrible things because of it. however fitz is NOT thor and alvar is not half as hot.
