Nunca supe bien cómo despedir a aquellos que nunca quise que se fueran. La verdad es que nunca fui de despedidas. El último beso, el último abrazo... Y la palabra "adiós" siempre fue de las que preferí no nombrar.

Pero llega un momento en que tienes que hacerte fuerte para hacerlo. Y aun así, no fui capaz.

Porque creo que hay personas que no se van, aunque ya no estén. No puedes decir adiós a los que nunca se irán, y eso no tiene sentido.

Así que traté de despedirme a mi manera. Guardé fotos, retuve recuerdos. Conservé olores y sonidos. Grabé en mi retina las sonrisas, las miradas y los momentos que merecían la pena. Intenté sentir, una vez más, cada abrazo.

Nunca fui de despedidas, pero un día tuve que aprender a echar de menos.

Te estoy echando de menos.
