I also love the way they referred to Zerxus as an antiquities collector in the city of Dis like it's. A normal-ass city with regular people who go antiquing. Like is Dis on the Must Visit list for the most diehard antiquarians. Do people actually die in pursuit of Asmodeus's Left Boot (pre calamity, authentic dried viscera and calcified bone in the sole!). Are the souls of the screaming damned just flavor to the bucket list trip of the rich and retired communities. Is Zerxus well known and established among people who buy and sell antiques and who are not, I can't emphasize enough, living in the actual hells?

So I read a fic set in our world where Alcina has her daughters but they are kiddos and now I want to write something like that.

Like pleaseeee a wittle Dani just completely stuck to Alcina’s leg. And Cass being a rambunctious trouble maker but still being a Mama’s girl. And then Bela trying to be as poised as her mother even though she’s still in the single digits.

Like I can picture Cass wearing one of Alcina’s blouses tied around her neck like a cape with a scrapped knee while running around chasing “intruders in their castle”. And Dani giggling like crazy on the couch as she watches her sister getting ready to start running with her big sister. Then Bela over in the corner telling Cass to stop but being unable to stop her smile and little giggles from time to time. All the while Alcina is listening to them from her office with a soft smile on her face while she works.

the fuck of it is that the easiest cure for social media ✨✨skincare✨✨brainrot in my experience is to talk to women older than u in real life. ask a woman u know who’s over fifty and has beautiful healthy skin what her “skincare routine” is and she’ll be like well i wash my face every night and exfoliate with a wash cloth. i use a lotion from the grocery store that my doctor says is good, i get enough sleep, and i wear a sun hat in the garden

My ex-wife invited me to her wedding and I am dragging you all with me." and so he takes all of them to have a trip in the demon dimension (nobody knows its a demon dimension except Stan) while he goes to an Eda and Raine wedding (post cannon for both shows). On the way there he keeps talking about how his "ex-wife is a witch" and how "she has a large bile sac that gives her magic"; nobody believes him about her being a witch but Mabel IS convinced that they are secretly elves and is determined to get herself a hot elf partner during this trip.

fun thing about dredge is like. the familiarity of the unknown. like sure the various Horrors are scary when you first encounter them, but soon enough you learn where they are and how to avoid them and like, sure they’re dangerous and sure you don’t fully comprehend them but like. give them a wide berth you’ll probably be fine. which is exactly the mindset that any person who was hired to go fishing for a living in the eldritch nightmare town would end up in. yeah the anglerfish have come up to the surface and their lures are clearly designed for me but like. i’ve got bills.
