Meta knight was walking ahead of you as you picked up flowers with your cute smile. “Poyo!” You said smiling ready to show meta knight your flowers you picked up into a bouquet. 

When all of a sudden, you were getting pulled into a red portal as you screamed out to meta knight who seemed to be in his own world.

“POYO! POYO!” You then get sucked in as meta knight turns to see nothing. “Reader/Kirby?…..where is he NOW!” Meta knight exclaims, his accent thickening in worry as he runs around the area calling out your name.

You swirl in the portal to get thrown out and roll into the feet of a person. “Oh my! Are you okay sweetie?” The sweet voice says as she picks you up. Charlie looked worry seeing you dizzy. “Poyoo..” you said with a dazed out look from your trip of the portal.

Charlie took you in her hotel, getting you water and suited to rest as vaggie checks up. After 24 hours, they kept you as you became part of the hotel staff.

I headcannon you once accidentally swallowed Angel because you saw him as a regular spider. You literally transformed into his color palette before Charlie made you cough him up.

He chooses to willfully go off the deep end by willfully combining himself with Dark Matter, and then causes mass destruction in a desperate attempt to finally one-up the pink puffball. A big cloud becomes everyone's problem because it despises a child.

Memories Still At A Halt: Susie accidentally stumbles upon a clockwork star, and then decides to spend her wish on reviving her father. Unfortunately, as he's brought back, he still can't recognize her as his daughter. But because Susie is now the HWC's president, she's more easily capable of reigning Max in as she takes care of him.

Hope Within The Darkness: Morpho Knight makes the one-time decision to allow the Dark Matter Swordsman another chance at life due to witnessing him being badly mistreated by the rest of the Dark Matter clan in hades. DMS adopts the name 'Blade' as he tries to fit in with Kirby and co., in hopes that he can try to be friends with them.

Friendship Really Does Shine Like A Star!: This dramatically rewrites the story of Star Allies. The cult is now much more threatening during this event, and three extra dream friends (Gryll, Drawcia and Prince Fluff) tag along Kirby and all the other existing dream friends. This also slightly rewrites Forgotten Land to include the dream friends.

Aaaaand I'm done for busts of other characters in TMNT: From the Hidden City because I didn't feel like drawing fullbody refs! In order from left to right (and under the cut because this is long), we have:

Slash, the leader of the Animal 5, an amateur garage band/vigilante group in the Hidden City. He's a tortoise yokai, and somewhat hostile to the Turtles at first since they seemingly came out of nowhere during the Tournament. Nonetheless, his heart is in the good place.

Mona Lisa, a member of the Animal 5. She's a salamander/axolotl-like alien, and her temper (which matches Raph's easily) doesn't undermine her intelligence. She and Raph quickly bond over how much they have in common once the initial hostilities are gone.

Leatherhead, a member of the Animal 5. Unlike the others, he's a mutant, mutated from a baby alligator that was splashed in Mutagen the night the Turtles were made. Unlike the Turtles, he didn't get the luck of a caring parent when he somehow escaped back in New York, and was forced into horrible things by his captor. Nonetheless, he was eventually able to find his way back to the Hidden City. Despite his scary appearance, he's a sweetheart.

Mondo Gecko, a member of the Animal 5. He's a lizard yokai and an otherwise regular civilian in the Hidden City, content with living a simple life. He got in the Battle Nexus on a bet and for a chance at the prize money, but found a talent for fighting along the way. He's the more relaxed member of the Animal 5, and was the one who came up with being a band to cover their vigilante activities.

Miyamoto Usagi, an apprentice member of the Hidden City's old guard. He's very dedicated to his training, and his peers describe him as incredibly mature and talented for his age. The only person who's been able to get underneath his mask is Leo, who's earnestness and kind heart are able to drag out Usagi's own inner child. He has a strange power that allows him to peer in other universes, and often uses it to ask advice from a certain older, more experienced version of himself.

Shinigami, a sorceress who was born in the Foot. She's Karai's most trusted associate and long-time girlfriend. Compared to said girlfriend, she's much more laidback and casual, and more willing to have fun on missions. She's still very much loyal to her. Some could argue she's more loyal to Karai than she is to the Clan... her magic allows her to hypnotize people and transform into a cat.

Jennika, a member of the Animal 5 and a frog yokai. She's actually a spy for the Foot, having been recruited during the Battle Nexus by Karai. She keeps them updated of what's happening in the Hidden City, but slowly comes to questions herself as the story progresses. She fights like a boxer, and can secrete poison.

Koya, a bird Yokai and a recent addition to the Foot. She was recruited during the Battle Nexus by Karai, and is part of her squad as a scout, archer, and air fighter. She's quick to attack and dislikes hesitation, conflating it with cowardice. Once Karai leaves the Foot, she very quickly realizes how insane everyone in it truly is without a buffer (Karai), but she believes that leaving now wouldn't do any good.

Bepop and Rocksteady, two thugs who were mutated by Draxum during his test runs of the second iteration of mutagen. They were hired by the Foot as muscle before Donnie could administer the retromutagen, and they often serve as comedic relief to Karai. The both of them are also complete idiots.

Goro and Blaze, Karai's mentors and technically her adoptive fathers. When Shredder isn't around, they run the Foot Clan to the best of their abilities. Goro knows bits of magic, and Blaze possesses enough brute strength to level a building.

Kirby O'Neil, April's father. He's a comic writer and illustrator, and created a relatively obscure comic that's just popular enough to pay the bills. Even so, he has an additional dayjob as an editor for a journal so he can make sure his daughter doesn't miss of anything. He's a hardworking man who often worries for his daughter, but can clearly see that she's at her happiest being friends with four green weirdos. His necklace is a gift from his late wife...

Lou Jitsu, Splinter's former identity. Martial Arts master. Even better at improvising with things such as ladders and fish. Movie star and celebrity. Bisexual icon. Once yelled out 'Hot Soup' instead of 'Hatsu' during the heat of a fight and it became his catchphrase. Has had it enough with the casual racism and homophobia of the early 2000 that he ran off to another dimension to marry his girlfriend. Certified monsterfucker.

Dr. Honeycutt, a technical war criminal from another galaxy. Regretful of his past as a weapon maker, he escaped to Earth where he was found by the Hamato clan. He is a friendly being, who's regret over making weapons have made him take a vow of pacifism he swore not to break.

And the Crying Titan, also known as Venus. She crashed onto Earth a few millenias ago, and is responsible for a bunch of things. From creating Yokai-kind (accident) to giving the founders of the Hamato clan their powers (willing). Baron Draxum was her student, and his mourning of her death at the hands of a nascent Foot Clan quite literally resulted in him creating the Hidden City.

mmmm i wanna talk about my kirby hcs mainly surrounding puffballs so ill just drop them here. in case anyone's curious. look at this with the perspective of the gameverse and animeverse combined. also remember most of my kirby hcs/lore stuff is meant to be in direct connection/relation to my kirby ocverse so some notes might be exclusively starstruck/oc-dependant. long post warning under the cut

like i said in my kirbsona post i think puffballs as a species are classified as a divine/astronomical phenomenon, which basically means the (somewhat unexplainable/unknown) circumstances of their species' creation are attributed to both natural cosmic occurrences in space and a potential omnipotent/higher power having a hand in it.

puffballs (with very few exceptions) form within molecular clouds aka stellar nurseries. their bodies are relatively made up of the same stuff that literal stars are made up of, which is attributed to their natural hardiness, long lifespan, and strength.

there's usually only about 1 puffball exclusively formed per every stellar nursery. after a stellar nursery forms a puffball, it'll basically go back to forming only stars, and won't form a puffball again. the contents + appearance of the stellar nursery itself dictate the specific features, colors, and powers of its respective puffball, so everyone's unique! this is also why compared to the population per other species across the universe, there's a relatively small ratio of puffballs.

puffballs normally don't wake up after the initial formation, usually remaining 'asleep' in a dormant state from infancy to early childhood so they can continue to grow off the resources within their respective molecular cloud. the naturally intended time between initial formation and actual awakening is about 8 years, with the intent of the puffball waking up with already fully developed intelligence, speech, and coordination.

HOWEVER, it's certainly not unheard of for puffballs to wake up earlier than that, and while they'll obviously be at the lesser developmental stage that is in line with their younger age instead of an 8-year-olds, they're fine and will grow normally with just a little bit more help required. this is the case for Kirby, who prematurely woke up at around 2 years old in puffball age. he's basically a toddler, and in the context of the puffball species, he's considered a premature puffball.

it's also possible for puffballs to wake up later than 8 years, but 'overdue' puffs are exceedingly rare and almost unheard of compared to the premies.

in terms of biological/blood relations within puffballs, it's very, very rare. this is due to the fact that puffballs aren't exactly a species that sexually reproduce (or at least produce hybrid offspring that are puffs), and also because of the aforementioned fact that every stellar nursery only forms 1 puffball each. due to the unique makeup of a stellar nursery factoring into a puffball's genes, in the exceedingly rare case of twin puffballs (2 puffs forming/growing together simultaneously) or a second puffball forming in a stellar nursery that's already hosted a puff in the past, the puffballs are biological siblings (share 50% of DNA). i'm still brainstorming the specifics about how a biological puffball child created via reproduction between two puffs comes into existence, so i don't have any concrete answer/hc for that yet.

in relation to that, a majority of puffs after awakening are often raised either by themselves or by adoptive parents, usually of a different species (e.g. ricky raising kirby, nimue raising sir lancelot/nonsurat). it's sort of a destiny thing. the one who takes them in is usually the one meant to do so, so it's not exactly a coincidence.

in relation to the aforementioned hybrid offspring between a puffball + non-puffball species, though, it's a lot less complicated. while i'm not sure if puffballs are really that capable of being pregnant simply due to anatomical limitations (because lets be real im not exactly sold on the idea of a 2'0 sphere that lacks a distinct abdomen/pelvis being pregnant), i do think they're capable of getting other species pregnant via good old copulation to result in a biological child. not gonna get too into the specifics of puffball sex. this doesn't always mean the offspring is gonna be a puffball (since they can take more after the non-puff parent's species instead, sorta a 50/50 chance), but regardless, its an example of a puffball having blood relatives/parents. an example of the potential special differences between hybrid puff offspring would be kelemon (kay and bedivere's biological offspring, genetically a puffball hybrid that physically counts as a puff) and stellaluna (meta knight and ricky's biological offspring, genetically a puffball hybrid, but not physically a puffball).

(this hc is starstruck/oc-dependant) back to the subject of puffballs partially being a divine phenomenon. puffballs as a species were intentionally and personally created by divinity, the omnipotent, but unknown almighty god + creator of the universe. due to this, puffballs have one of the closest links to divinity alongside the 'common' deities (nightmare, florence, etc), but much like deities, they're unaware of the connection and divinity's overall existence. haven't really finished fleshing out exactly why divinity created them though.

branching off from that... out of every puffball, the one with the actual direct link/relation to divinity is kirby. ik ik call me basic but the void/kirby theory is real af in starstruck. so just know kirby's existence/role within the universe is not a coincidence and divinity has been watching over very closely.

puffballs as a general collective (excluding some specific individuals) sort of lie in the grey zone between mortals and demigods/deities. they're by no means on the same level/don't match the specific requirements to be classified as a deity/demigod, but they're nothing like mortals due to their previously mentioned lifespan/power/origins/etc. They're sorta just their own thing.

still sorting out if every puffball is a star warrior. sorta like not every star warrior being a puff but every puff being a star warrior.

depending on the environment they grew up in as a child, a puffball's natural capabilities and physical construct may be different and generally exclusive to themself. like i mentioned in my lancelot hc post for example, lancelot being raised by a selkie/growing up in a colder coastal environment with regular exposure to waters gives him a natural affinity for it, making him an exceedingly skilled swimmer, giving him a general immunity to water-exposure conditions (hypothermia, shock, decompression sickness, pulmonary barotrauma, etc), leaving him capable of holding his breath underwater for 15+ minutes, and having reinforced airways that let him dive extremely deep without harm. the same goes for chavra who grew up in a swamp/wetlands, meaning she's generally immune to water-borne infectious diseases/ailments. on top of that, her skin is much tougher, making it hard for her to be bitten by anything in general ranging from mosquitos to snakes. both are examples of the unique capabilities and even genetic/physical changes that can develop when a puffball has prolonged exposure to certain elements/environments in the developmental years during youth.

puffballs are a surprisingly diverse species for a bunch of walking spheres. animal puffs (puffs with animal features like ears, fur, tails, etc. e.g. kay, who's a cat puff, and cari, who's a moth puff) are their own subsection of puffballs, and are not to be confused with puffs who just happen to have animal wings (e.g. meta's bat wings, galacta's dove wings). some puffs have neither of these characteristics as well.

there's very, very few, but some puffs are deities. specifically galacta knight and cari. and maybe kirby but thats more complicated. they're the main outliers in the aforementioned note about puffball's grey area classification.

Well, happier for some than for others, it seems. Eagan Connolly is raising quite the fuss about the disappearance of someone named Will Monroe—details are light on who exactly Will is but apparently he's known to some as a local prostitute. If you see her hobbling around, maybe keep a wide berth, since they’ve been heard muttering to themselves in public. If it was something worth worrying about, the police or Mayor Nat herself would have informed us, of course.

We have multiple witnesses having seen what looked like a very upset Christopher Winters and a very concerned Jim Dunford in town the other day. They were arguing about what sounded like a cheeky New Years Eve kiss that they shared. Jim seemed to be trying to placate Christopher, who was not having it, shoving the man away and stalking off. No news yet as to whether Emma Dunford is aware of this. For all we know, this might be her way of having her cake and eating it too. Christopher and Emma are also expecting a child, which begs the question, is now really the time to try something new?

Speaking of their upcoming adoption, the baby’s birth mother has also been on her own romantic adventure. Josie Reigh and Gabriel Westfall are official, at least if the people overhearing her referring to him as her boyfriend are to be believed. The two seem to be quite happy with each other. Alas, not everyone seems to be as over the moon as they are. Nico Garcia stills seems hung up over Miss Reigh, which is no surprise, since he always was the more sensitive brother. He has repeatedly been seen intoxicated at the Sasquatch and was even heard propositioning one of their bartenders. One lucky contender who took him up on the offer is Jessica Sinclair. That girl's taste has always been questionable—but perhaps this is the one who will break her streak of heartbreak?

The younger Garcia brother isn't the only one moping and drinking his sorrows away at the bar. Theodore Collins has become the latest member of the lonely hearts club. Many have remarked he's been overly temperamental at work with some adding in that he and Kirby have officially called it quits. However, seems they're both quick to move on. Theodore was spotted hitting on Morgan Vovk, who took him home "as a friend"—you can take that as you will. Meanwhile, Kirby has been seen multiple times leaving the drive-in with Edward Langston. Now, sonsidering he should be focused on helping raise his goddaughter, you would think he'd reconsider his priorities. Kirby is fun but they're hardly the person you'd want around when you're trying to be responsible.

Elfilis and the gemini stumble upon a human colony. Elfilis plans to slowly mentally torture the humans for revenge and tries to get the gemini to join them, but Elfilin opposes and Forgo doesn't want to interact with humans ever again. The three fight all the time but still hold onto eachother.

Super Mario Galaxy AU i guess?

Not realky Super Mario Galaxy, but basically the humans already had "planetary warp technology" and Elfilis and Neichel meet up during their intergalactic travels and also Lab Discovera wants to capture Elfilis anyways so they have to do a Mario Galaxy to stop them??? Idk

Unnamed Candy World AU

Mousies wake up in a candy world with no memories of how they got there. Elfilis feels like something is wrong, but they're too overconfident to act on their suspicions. Plus, the gemini have a thing for sweets (which they got from Elfilis themself of course) so they're overjoyed.

Backrooms AU

Morpho traps the rats in a dream that resembles the backrooms (that Lizzie knew of from reading children's minds) to trick them into dying.

In which they are actual siblings. That's it.

Idol AU

There's a whole ass seraphim society now! After beating the living shit out of Boib, Elfilis becomes a super idol. Once again, Morpho wants them dead. Elfilis is fucking terrified and uses their music as a cry for help.

Also Neichel is there as Elfilis' fancy pet and best friend because this was originally gonna be an Elfilis-Neichel swap but there's so little that can be done with that.

Elfilin sees this and wants to be a steamer too, so he makes a YouTube channel named 'elfilingamer87' and streams his gameplay of Kirby's Dream Buffet. Unfortunately he ends up having only one subscriber, which makes him extremely sad because he thinks Elfilis will be disappointed in him if they find out. William Afton, a human, tricks him into being experimented on in exchange of fame and knowing who that one subscriber is. Turns out that one subscriber was Elfilis themself, who had been advertising his channel like crazy.

Void is actually a corporation where a huge accident took place, leading to the death of four important employees(?) and their partners. Their children (the heroes of yore) are childhood friends who got separated in their teenage years (Elfilis moved to London, the others idk) so with the death of their parents they're trying to find eachother and help eachother out.

Kirby is Meta Knight's adopted son and Meta Knight is Galacta's brother

Despite the setup, this one is also very Elfilis-centric and focuses on them raising their twin siblings on their own.

Great Sage Elfilis

Elfilis is basically Lucifer from Christianity, except that instead of falling down to hell they fall to the mortal world and are thought to be the child of god (who is actually Kirby). And they're also amnesiac.

Elfilin and Forgo are manifestations of their feelings. Forgo becomes the curse and Elfilin sets out to save the world, but Elfilis is intrigued to why this random ass child looks so much like them so he takes him under their wing.

Princet Elfilis

Mousies are very beautiful children who destroy the orphanage they were in to escape and are adopted by King Dream Minecraft. But King Dream Minecraft is a horrible person so Elfilis and Galacta (the head knight of Dreamhorne who became Elfilis' best friend) manage to get him exiled and Lizzie becomes the new monarch.

The first one again but Elfilis

In the first AU, Galacta plays the role of the town guide, and is an ex warrior who was exiled for being too violent and runs a bar now. He briefly takes care of Void.

In this AU, Elfilis there as well alongside Galacta, although they left willingly after a fight with William Afton.

They heavily dislike Void, which leads them and Galacta to get possessed.

Backstory and Lore (optional): OKAY. Chisp is only a very little waddle dee! He's not a baby persay but moreso around 6, i think? He struggles communicating verbally like the other waddle dees because of how young he is and a general nervousness about talking so he uses nonverbal communications!! And my cannon for Chisp is that before he started realm hopping he was one of the waddle dees that travelled to the kingdom of the sky to rescue Dedede with kirby, but after it was all over he was!!! The only person to go and stay with Taranza, while everyone else went back to dreamland, chisp just sat next to Taranza and gave him a little shoulder pat, and that was when Taranza sort of, took Chisp in as like, a cool uncle figure, training his realm hopper abilities and such, Although as a "Pop-In Friend", and part of the reason chisp is so proud of his abilities is because its usually very hard for a waddle dee to stand out, they're mostly just faces in the crowd and chisp is nonverbal, as well so he finds it even harder, so having a close good friend who can teach him what makes him special was the first time chisp felt like an independent little guy!

anyways chisp is a realm hopper and he's in ohio and he's ALSO. a child. and! he ends up getting adopted :) by one of my ocs, trinity. she's like just some girl. it's hard being a single mother when you're 15 and your child is a waddle dee and your friend slash crush keeps saying "waddle deez nuts" /lh

Welcome to the Organization Official, the official social media page for the galactic peacekeeping force known as the Organization. To promote our mission and allow for more transparency, we have decided to set up a blog for anyone who wishes to ask questions to our soldiers and affiliates.

My name is Shinkiro, and I am part of the Administration division of the Organization. I directly work for the general, in other words.

Before I leave you off on your own, I was told to go over a few rules for questions.

Depending on how many asks are received, we might not be able to answer all of them. Please remember that we are a working Organization and not all divisions will be able to answer every question they receive.

Please keep all asks PG-13. This is a public blog. We do not know if children may be reading this.

Kurabe

The Lady of Shadows and one of the Organization's Big Four Commanders. Leader of the Combat division and captain of the battleship GranEssex. Originally an orphan from a desolate planet, she was taken in by General Z and became one of the greatest warriors in the galaxy. In the past, she was the mentor of Meta Knight. When off-duty, she does her best to be an adoptive mother to him as well, though she can be overbearing at times.

Kirby

The Hero of Planet Popstar. A humble child that belies the amazing powers he holds. Despite this, he greatly cares for his friends. Student of Meta Knight.

Meta Knight

A former member of the Organization who is now living on Planet Popstar. The leader of the Meta Knights. Kurabe's greatest student and mentor to Kirby.

King Dedede

The self-proclaimed ruler of Dreamland. He claims to be Kirby's rival, but everyone else can definitely see that they are friends. Has memorized the appearance and names of all 400 Waddle Dees who work under him.

Bandana Waddle Dee

One of King Dedede's advisors and one of Kirby's closest friends. He is surprisingly strong for being a Waddle Dee. Probably the most levelheaded of Dedede's Waddle Dees and the king's oldest friend, hailing from his home planet of Brightfall.

Mercury

Vice captain of the battleship GranEssex. Kurabe's best friend. Her species is a liquid metal shapeshifter known as a Limet. Normally very level-headed. She is like an older sister to Meta Knight.

Erhard

The chief medical officer of the GranEssex. A male Limet who is a kind doctor. Previously imprisoned in solitary confinement for a crime he didn't commit, he was acquitted and joined the ship out of gratitude. He is a bit socially awkward due to his isolation.

Akemi

Kurabe's current star pupil. While she is on the surface shy and has little confidence in herself, she shows great strength when angered.

Reedy

One of the Organization's Big Four, the leader of the Intelligence Division, and captain of the battleship VictoriousArc. Kurabe's rival and Mercury's adoptive older brother. An extremely smart Limet that has a bit of tunnel vision. He is a bit of a stickler for the rules and often gets into conflict with Kurabe, originating due to his first belief of her not earning her position due to being the General's student and adopted daughter (untrue). Despite this, he really loves his wife, Raita and his children.

General Z

The General of the Organization. Kurabe's mentor and adoptive father. Believed to be the oldest still living Star Warrior in the universe, he can still put up a good fight despite this. He can be a bit protective of his daughter.

Risotto

One of the members of Task Force Zetta, an elite unit of only Limets that directly serves Reedy in the Intelligence Division. A beast summoner who is a gentle giant. He doesn't talk much.

Pandoro

One of the members of Task Force Zetta. A skilled swordswoman who joined around the same time as Risotto. She speaks in an old-fashioned tone.

Fettuccine

A member of Task Force Zetta. She is the youngest member to join the group and is noted at being a genius when it comes to interrogation. She is like a younger sister to Risotto and Pandoro. She develops a close friendship with Meta during his time in the Organization, but it's clear that they blossomed into something more...

King Bebebe

The ruler of the Crescent Kingdom on Brightfall and King Dedede's father. A righteous king who is an avid supporter of the Organization and a close friend of Kurabe, who he often calls "Kura-kura" and "Kuracchi". The two of them have a past that Kurabe is slightly embarrassed about. He cares about his son, but is often busy with work. His advisor is Bandana's mother and the army's leader is Bandana's father.

Mikuto

A silly, lazy Star Warrior with a love for music and sleeping. Kurabe's boyfriend who she first encountered on a certain mission.

Katsumi

A powerful mercenary who dresses as a sukeban. Often encounters Kurabe. Likes lollipops and money.

Mars

The leader of the terrorist group Void. A manipulative yet charismatic warrior who enjoys causing chaos.

Hello! What is your thoughts on meta knight and his relationships with everyone? Who do you think will he get along well and be besties with :00?

Hi! You're gonna get a long one!

First off, wanna mention that i think every specie ages slowly, and won't die unless killed by an outside force (so they can't die of old age, and they won't physically age past a certain point). This means that I will use physical ages to describe characters, rather than actual ages because these guys are all thousands of years old probably (I also think that some species will age through childhood quicker than others).

Okay, so!

Meta Knight is one of my favorite characters, which means I like to give him the most painful hc's I can! First off, he's blind, but he's got a visor in his mask that let's him see (which is why in some of my doodles, he has glasses, they're made of the same material). This was Nightmare's fault, his eyes were normally yellow but turned grey afterwards. At the time, Nightmare also quite literally ripped out his wings. Luckily for the plot amoured circle, the Dimensional Cape works as a prosthetic and can turn into his wings (He can actually use magic to maintain his 'wings' while he's not wearing the cape, but it's very limited and will hurt a LOT afterwards, so he doesn't do that often).

Alright, so hears everyone I can think of and Meta's relationship with them!

Kirby - Initially, Meta Knight refused to see him as anything more than a child who needed to learn. He was afraid of getting attached. He didn't want to lose anything else. However, this failed, and he ended up seeing Kirby as a son, going as far as to call him one. He cares for him enough to probably destroy the entire town in order to keep him safe, and is obscenely grateful that Kirby can hold his own for the most part.

Tiff - Initially, some kid who he avoided because she asked too many question and he didn't want to risk her figuring anything out since she tends to hyperanalyze random things while dismissing others. After Kirby's arrival, he sort of has to be around her, so he tries to keep himself emotionally distant. But he's bad at that, so he ended up seeing her in the same light a parent would their daughter, although he'll deny it. He finds it difficult to remember that she's still pretty much a 10 year old child given she's incredibly smart for her age. He teases her about Kine because, quite frankly, he finds it hilarious.

Tuff - He was a little easier to stay distant from. Meta Knight didn't have an opinion one way or the other about him before Kirby arrived, and usually only saw him or his sister if they were getting involved with Dedede in case they were about to get killed. Afterwards, he also sees him like a son. He's got adoption issues lmao. He's aware that Tuff is kinda stupid, but looks past that a lot in fvaor of things he's actually good with.

Sword/Blade - He feels the same way about both of them and will obliterate you if you hurt either of them. He met them at possibly the lowest point in his life and didn't initially believe they'd survive for very long given their terrible fighting capabilities. Regardless, he got attached and they became very close friends. He cares for their safety, and is a little off put by their willingness to do stupid things that puts their live sat risk, especially if he's the reason (cough cough Wolfwrath cough).

Dedede - In one word, idiotic. He showed up before Tiff was born so he's known Dedede for a LONG time. Even then, the idiot was playing with monsters. He got frustrated after the child's were around and Dedede started endangering them with his stupidity. Admittedly, he finds it amusing when he's scaled by N.M.E, but hates that it's them that does it (they don't deserve money how dare).

Ecsragoon - Sort of sad, really. He's just pathetic, all of his skill and he couldn't find a better job? It was worse after Meta Knight had seen that his mother wasn't a complete failure of a parent. Escargoon worked so hard to lie to her and out up the most ridiculous act he'd seen from him, but couldn't keep himself from being a complete fool of a person? He suspects he was likely more decent before working for Dedede. He also finds it infuriating that he yells at Tiff so often, and has even had her neglect her sleep for several days to built a stupid robot, only for it break and for him to attack Kirby anyways. Hurting him as bad as he did was satisfying.

Any of the cappies - He tends to avoid them, he's socially awkward. He finds them all collectively stupid, though. Who gets brainwashed by a swirl on TV with a penguin repeating 'Kirby must go away' over and over? Regardless, he appreciates that they provide company for his children friends.

Fololo and Falala - No opinion, but appreciates knowing they'll help him out if he needs to fly after Kirby without using his wings.

Waddle Dees/Waddle Doo - All his children. Every single one of them (Waddle Doo excluded). He sneaks them candy and they like to bring him small gifts. Typically screws or feathers, they don't have much. They're all squishy cute things. He's glad they're so durable. He likes Waddle Doo. He may be oddly loyal to a rude penguin, but he takes care of the Waddle Dees and won't hesitate to ask for something if they need it.

Tokori - He doesn't like him. He's rude to Kirby. Finds it amusing that Tiff has literally punched him and he seems to fear making her mad.

Any of the talking animals - No real opinion. He doesn't like that Kine likes Tiff. His kids aren't allowed to date. He finds it funny, though. He'll tease her about it endlessly.

Any talking trees - He mostly doesn't care. A little annoyed that Whispy nearly got his kids killed over a demonic flower, but oh well. It was a while ago.

Kabu - Meta Knight greatly appreciates his presence. It was nice to find something he was familiar with on Dreamland. He sometimes likes to chat with him.

That's all I can think of for Dreamland so GSA TIME!!

Nightmare - Ew. Ugly intergakactice war criminal that ruined his life and killed all of his friends. Meta Knight hates him with his very soul.

N.M.E Sales guy - Not really a personal opinion, but he doesn't like him. He works for Nightmare so hopefully he'll just stop existing. He doesn't know if he survived the ship being blown up and quite frankly, doesn't care.

Yamikage - He wants to kill him. He hates him. He doesn't understand how someone could betray the GSA, and it cost the lives of many innocent people. Yamikage also hates Meta Knight. Stupid pineapple.

Garlude - Now, I know it was never confirmed that she ever regularly worked with him, but I'm hooked on TheWinterRaven's Star Trio idea. He's very good friends with her and was devastated when she died. Before that, she was a good friend, but he admittedly didn't like her bothering him about his health.

Jecra (Knuckle Joe's Father) - Best friend, as stated in the show. He acted like an idiot, though, and would usually annoy Meta Knight outside of battle. They got along well, and Meta Knight had lost a lot when he had to kill him. His death hurt.

Arthur - He has a lot of respect and sympathy for him. He's the leader of a large army that (in my AU's/HC wasn't originally even his). On top of that, he grew up around him, and saw him like a brother. It was heartbreaking to watch him go from a confident and well trained Star Warrior to someone who felt hopeless about the battle they were slowly loosing. He'd started yelling multiple times about how much better Uther would have done for the GSA and refused any support. When they split up, Meta Knight was convinced they were dead, and was beyond hurt that he had to die in that state of mind. He knew Arthur blamed himself for every failure and setback, and seeing him act as if he was fine around others was painful beyond explanation.

Falspar - Menace. Also grew up with him. Falsoar tried to keep everyone's spirits up and Meta Knight appreciated that. He cared for him, even though he had been notorious for causing mischief before the army fell apart. Near the end, he was trying his best to keep Arthur together, and he seemed lost. Meta Knight didn't like that.

Dragato - Very similar to Falspar, but Meta would call him dramatic too. He'd be the type to hop around on one foot, yelling ow repeatedly in a higher and higher pitched voice it he hit it on something. He was 'killed' in the same state as Falspar. Neither of them seemed like themselves in the end.

Lancelot - Meta Knight would speak to him the most out of all his brothers. He was calm and introverted. Shy boi. He got along well with him but would also harass him about his health. He was Arthur's biggest helper and near the end, had the biggest struggle in keeping him and the rest of them even the slightest bit hopeful. It was a lost cause by then and it was obvious he knew it. He stopped after Arthur yelled at him to stop acting as if everything would be fine. From there he was more quiet and withdrawn than he usually was. Meta Knight hated that.

Kit Cosmos - He knew he existed but hadn't really formed much of an opinion on him. He respected his skill.

Galaxia - Meta Knight had been on his own for several years before meeting Sword and Blade, and was at the lowest point in his life. He carried a lot of guilt and Galaxia would try to comfort him. He finds her presence comforting, to the point where he hates it when she's not with him. He speaks to her a lot. When he isn't fighting a loosing battle with his mental state, she bothers him about his health. In short, she's probably the closest thing he's ever had to a mother.

Any monster - He hates them all. As far as he's concerned, they're just embodiments of Nightmare's magic, and they can all disappear forever.

Anyone who works for N.M.E - He hates them too. He's good at hiding it when he knows they aren't a monster, but if they anger him, they're dead.

Sirica - Seeing her was both painful and relieving. He knew Garlude cared for her and was convinced she had died a long time ago. He doesn't know where she got the idea that he left her mother to die, but he assumed some monster had spewed it to her before dying. She clearly didn't like N.M.E but didn't have anything else to go off of, so he understood. Still, it was difficult to be attacked for the death of a friend that he already blamed on himself. He treats her the way a father would their daughter. Very protective orb.

Knuckle Joe - He didn't blame him for going after him. He was annoyed with Dedede for telling him that Kirby was the one he was after. Treats him the same way as Sirica. He knows they can handle themselves, but when they're on Popstar, dad mode activates.

Intro 1- the human kids

Okay, I don’t particularly know how to start but early on, I want the human kids to be more prominent and be given actual character, and I’m starting this also with the humans, because we have an oc in the pile!

I tried to go more in depth with their personalities and their development, just some descriptions because I’m not sure how to kick off the plot.

(small warning for mentioned transphobia?)

April O’Neil

Starting off with April, she has kraang features from the start, and she’s a nervous cryptid child who will bite. She’s very attached to the concept of fitting in and being ‘normal’, she doesn't want to be seen as an outgroup. 

April’s definitely the mom friend, she took a lot after her dad (who’s way more prominent in plots) and she has a heart of gold. However, she tends to blame herself for everything and is a huge people pleaser to feel included. She has the flavor of autism where she wants to know people and wants to fit in.

She lived in Northampton with her parents until she was 6, but for some reason her dad fled to the city one day with her, and now he doesn’t talk about it. She’s been friends with Casey since diapers, and she really doesn’t have that many friends. She’s not completely out, but she’s on the aroace spectrum and a lesbian.

While everyone else in the group run to danger, she curls up into a ball and cries for 45 minutes before biting.

Casey Arnold Jones (later Casey Jones O’Neil)

Casey has depth as a character now! He’s very impulsive and has an ironclad moral compass, tending to run off from the group to fit his morals. He has the power of tmasc gay man power, don’t know where to throw that in

His home life is very similar to IDW, the main difference is that Kirby has essentially adopted him at this point.

He’s a ball of repressed emotions, and he has little to no self preservation because of that, he is very prone to getting carried away and he gets very defensive when he’s not included or looked down upon.

Isabella Del Toro (later Isabella “D’este” Hamato)

Isabella is new to the friend group, she only joined the summer before after moving from Washington. She moved there for better physical therapy after losing her right leg, and she’s getting used to a prosthetic.

She was a jammer in roller derby before that, and her coming out as a girl (and also bi but less so) put a huge wedge in her relationship with her parents, who aren’t accepting.

She’s the flavor of adhd that she plays everything off as a joke, she doesn’t take anything seriously so she doesn’t think about it too hard, she knows her situation is fucked up but she’s too tired to admit that.

She’s less reckless and stays more to the side of fights, but when she’s in the heat of the battle, she usually needs to be dragged out of the situation because she’s either gotten her ass kicked or stopped in the middle of a murder.

She leans heavily on distractions, she appreciates helping people partly because she feels better knowing she’s leaving the world a little better than it was before, but also because she’s pissed that nobody helps them.

Casey and Isabella are vigilantes, and April is confused on why they’d put themselves out there in blatant danger, while the other two are confused why she doesn’t see her connections as a call to action.

Favorite thing about them

first thing that comes to mind for me in terms of elfilin's best moment is hands-down how he acts in the fecto elfilis fight once he's released. he goes from being happy to see kirby again and shocked at elfilis opening the portal to full-on screaming at the top of his tiny lungs as he charges truck kirby into elfilis. just pure ferocity in that puny big eared fluff ball. I've mentioned it before on here in a reblog but this was the moment that completely won elfilin over as a character for me

Least favorite thing about them

this is somewhat common for video game helper characters in general, but he does come off as mildly annoying near the beginning with how cheery and quick to explain controls he is. I didn't really begin to care about him much as a character until he was kidnapped, though thankfully finding out that he wasn't going to betray me like people were guessing also made me warm up to him more

if this just means “favorite platonic pairing of any kind” then I have to go with elfilin and clawroline’s relationship. starting out as enemies by association until clawroline rescues elfilin after things go south for everyone, starting the peace between the beast pack and the waddle dee town residents. I wish elfilin’s relationship with the members of the beast pack was more developed in general, but I’ll definitely take another “mysterious foe unwittingly adopts a child” type relationship in this series

Random headcanon

kirby introduces elfilin to his other friends following the events of the game, and he gets along best with the animal friends and gooey. they're the most chill of kirby's friends and elfilin can sympathize with gooey's connection to dark matter. otherwise though elfilin prefers to stick to kirby and bandana dee when visiting popstar, some of dreamland's residents casually possess the kind of power that scares him a little in comparison to kirby

Unpopular opinion

I've seen a lot of content involving elfilin being able to transform into his fecto elfilis form at will following chaos elfilis' defeat, and while I think that's a cool idea I don't think it would be something that elfilin would feel comfortable doing, at least not for a while. elfilin does want to get a better grasp of his powers but I think being in that form again so soon would remind him of how he previously has lost control to fecto forgo in that state, so he wouldn't want to assume that form until he became sure that fecto forgo's influence wouldn't overwhelm him while in it

Song I associate with them

I really like a burning hill by mitski, that song's sense of having been destructive and watching yourself do it and now just wanting to move on and accept yourself afterwards fits elfilin really well

Delta is Magolor’s adopted child! She’s a baby Galboros that he took under his wing when he found her alone and abandoned in the forest. She’s the equivalent of about a 3 year old toddler, and she gets along pretty well with everyone. She loves to play with her parents- magolor, susie, Taranza, and Marx- and with kirby as well! She hasn’t witnessed any horrors, she is just a Bab- but she does know her dad gets anxiety easily and will cuddle up to him if she can tell he’s in a rough spot.

She calls Magolor “papa”, or alternatively “Kitty”. She calls Susie “mama”, and Taranza and Marx are “Zaza” and “Baba” respectively (reminder that the four of them are in a QPR, and susie and magolor are semi-romantically involved with each other).
