My only real and valid writing tip is that you google every word you make up for your fantasy stories. That's It

dedede has a southern accent to me but he does not sound like ted lewis even remotely. he has a deep and smooth voice that rises into a sharp and quick dialect. but when he's relaxed his voice is as smooth as a pan of warm molasses and it's very surprising considering how he is usually: goofing about with his friends most of the times and thus yelling and shouting most of the time

you wouldn't know it just by seeing him in his usual environment (giving orders to waddle dees, training bandana waddle dee, sparring with meta knight, roughhousing with kirby) but king dedede's voice is like. ohhh it's very soothing when he's actually sincerely relaxed. it's common for people to fall asleep when he's reading books aloud to them, which is how he gets the waddle dees to sleep when they have trouble sleeping.
