Hi long time lurker. And look, this is a page about HASAN PIKER. This is the place for what I'm about to do, I'm a girl with a bunch of interests and sometimes those interests intersect in ways I just sit on for years cause quite honestly I'm using "girl" v loosely and I'm 31 woman and I know what "cringe" is because I wrote the book, so I just kinda shit post in comments on twitter to release the stress of being a fan of Hasan, and I don't have a twitter anymore, so I thought I was just going to have to die on this.

But finally, on this day I was watching a clip from the 12-29-23 at 4 in the morning cause I got off work early (https://youtu.be/kMwQQmVMcAw?si=XhjWf6R_O5UgH9MX&t=294) and I got all I need to let out about 4 years of built up Hasan drama. So mods, Daddy said I could so please please please don't delete this. This is perfect fodder on who to block personally and as I will elaborate, I done my time in this community, just let me have my soap box.

Who am I and what give me this authority? (a disclaimer) As stated above I'm up at 4 am, and this is "off early", I work nightshift factory job in middle america who's worked there for 10 years with a long side story I will not bore you with. I found Hasan when he did the breakdown on fb and just liked the way he broke down the news. Is he a perfect person? No. There are many things I wish he didn't do. (Hoobastank) But on the whole, solid person who's world view is refreshing to listen to and I don't lose sleep in supporting my like in him because he tries to be ethical with his spending and its like $5, come on, I can spend $5 to enjoy myself ad free at that top of the hour if I want. I work 12 hour shifts.

But as I said, I work 12 hours, and where Hasan sometimes makes 10 hours of content, I also have other interests and sometimes I'm doing that, sometimes I'm a drama girlie (and it's super sexist if you judge me), sometimes I'm a goblin. And boy howdy how I wish the drama girlies would rally around Hasan because he's chill with QT and Rae, cause then I wouldn't have to do this myself. But alas, we must all sometimes be the change we want to see in the world, and the drama girlies don't know about this filth, so here I am. Youtube channel-less and angry. So I'm gonna vent about the latest drama here for a moment cause I've been sitting on this need since Hasan's biggest mistake, befriend the worlds more admired online deadbead father since Onision, Steven Kenneth Bonnell II (wiki).

Hasan having the most unhinged reaction to being asked to not do a fundraiser with Hogwarts Legacy for the trans community, I've never seen them gargle balls harder. WHY?? Cause they wanted to bully Jessie Gender, a truly respectable person.

Be in it for the right reasons -When getting into writing in general you gotta really be into it because it gets hard seeing something you wrote only get a few likes, speaking of likes, do not let it get you down when some things you write maybe isn't as popular as you hoped!

Use Grammarly! -Okay, not all the time will Grammarly get what you are trying to say so do not blindly trust it, but double-check your writing for errors!

Be clear about your boundaries! -Do not sway on what makes you uncomfy for anyone! and do not be shy to block people or not respond to an ask if you have made it known you are not okay with writing it

It is okay to take inspiration! -Does a writer you like describe things in a way you enjoy? Attempt to replicate it but not entirely! add your own spin on it to see if you can make it your own look into writing/book YouTubers who talk about writing styles and what not to do! for example, I watch crimson rouges videos on onisions books and pretty much left feeling like I was the best writer ever lol

Give your blog a theme! -This is more just for fun cause people will like your blog a lot more if you can have a constant theme going on with it and it was nice to look at! plus it would be more fun to work on if you thought it looked nice!

consistency! - I know I'm one to talk about consistency cause I don't post for a while but yk! try to post something once a week or whatever you are able to do!

Be inclusive in writing! -If you are writing self-inserts be sure to make it where the reader can truly insert themself! I have a post about this that I reblogged and I will link (here) about what to look out for! or if maybe you find that you cannot make it all-inclusive put something before the fic that says what the reader is described as a sort of warning

Try to get a mutual or two! -Having other writer friends on the website could give you someone to turn to when you are having trouble with writing! How to get mutals??? um idk I've just kinda stuck with followers of mines who interact with me frequently send them the occasional meme or didn't talk to them at all but still consider them a friend!

My G, why does the floridian hurricane in porg’s shitshow of a fic upset you so much?

@sui-senka just pinging ya bc you replied and I figured you wouldn’t want to miss my response.

OKAY so the very short answer is she doesn’t know shit (unsurprising, but still) and clearly didn’t do any research about hurricanes, hurricane procedures, hurricane safety, or… literally anything, considering that a lot of her self-written Vergil backstory hinges on a hurricane separating him and his “lover,” making him unaware of Nero’s existence.

Her ignorance about hurricanes and the damage they can cause is practically inexcusable, considering most anything can be googled nowadays, so this had no reason to be as shit as Porg made it. This absolutely infuriates me, considering that I have lived through hurricanes, specifically, one of the worst hurricanes to hit the northeastern US.

The LONG ANSWER will be under the cut because, i’mma be real with you anon, I’m gonna tear apart Porg’s shit, and I get real mad.

Alright, so, in Porg’s fic, this bullshit comes at the end of her segment about her OC and Vergil, and why Vergil knows that he had sex with someone, but was unaware his child was alive. About seven months into OC’s pregnancy Hurricane Hugo (or, at the very least, a hurricane with matching strength TO Hugo) hits wherever she and Vergil are, they got separated during the storm, and then never reconnected. Her OC then gave birth to Nero and died during a demon attack, but Nero was not killed, and was taken off the mainland to Fortuna.

Before continuing, here are some important things to remember!

Porg has stated in her fic she placed Fortuna around the Florida Keys

She specifically cites Hurricane Hugo as the hurricane that hits and separates Vergil and her OC. She also cites this happening in the year 1989 (the same year Hugo happened). Remember this setting.

Nero’s mother is SEVEN MONTHS PREGNANT when this hurricane hits.

Nero has to be young enough to have no memories of his mother. At most, I’d say he would be a year old, and at the youngest I’d say 2 months, because he’d have to survive for at least a few hours after his mother died before people found him.

Okay? Okay.

So, for the first point of stupidity, there is absolutely no reason why Vergil and her OC should have become separated. I’m not reading off her fic directly, but I’m pretty sure that she never cited a specific reason as to why, just that they did.

During hurricanes, you get the fuck away from the coastline if you can because flooding can and absolutely will happen, and then you stay indoors. You do not go outside unless you absolutely have to, especially at night when you can’t see. The windspeed for a Category 1 hurricane, the lowest you can go before it’s classified as a tropical/severe storm, is 74 mph (119 kmph) and can cause damage to houses and cause branches or poorly rooted trees to fall. You can lose power, but it’d only be for a couple days at most.

Hurricane Hugo (or her imaginary hurricane, which would have the same strength and occur at the same time) was a Category 3. Category 3 hurricanes have the lowest wind speed at 111 mph (178 kmph). Whereas Category 1 hurricanes can do some damage, mostly through negligence or very rare circumstances, Category 3′s can rip trees out of the ground, cause serious flooding, can damage most well-built houses. It’s not fun, and picture of areas devastated by hurricanes are brutal.

So Vergil, who is a decently smart sentient being, and her OC should have NEVER gone outside, let alone be away from each other. A seven month pregnant woman would ABSOLUTELY NOT BE OUTSIDE IN A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE. I can understand them not wanting to move away from a coastline, or abandoning their house, as they possibly would’ve had nothing to come back to, but there is NO reason why they would get separated in 1989 after a category 3. If anything, this should’ve brought them closer together.

And yet, somehow they do! And they never reconnect? How??? Porg states that this is all happening in southeastern US–there is no way any seven month woman would be able to travel far enough on her own, more than likely without a car, and be able to care for herself. Granted, Porg made her OC a full devil, but even a full devil would definitely struggle at 7 months pregnant with a baby coming in the future.

Now, I’m going to be honest, this was all the minor stuff. Now here’s where I get mad.

When people find Nero, Porg states in her fic that instead of taking an infant to the hospital, they instead take him to an orphanage on Fortuna. Remember, this is at the very least four months after a Category 3 Hurricane hit, and at most, 16 months.

Now, I live on Long Island. For those unaware, back in 2012, we had a hurricane hit us. That was Hurricane Sandy, which was a Category 1 when it hit. People here acted with confidence–it’s only a Category 1, it’s not that strong, we’ll all be fine!–and didn’t prepare properly for it.

This was one of the deadliest hurricanes of 2012. It was a Category 1.

I lived through that, and it wasn’t pleasant to say the least. I was one of the lucky folks that lived far enough away from the coast that there wasn’t any serious flooding, but even then it was rough. I was sitting on my couch looking out the window when a giant portion of a tree that had been eaten away by bugs broke off from the trunk and smashed into our front yard, only about fifteen feet away from where I was sitting. If the tree had been leaning more towards us, or the wind was blowing just strong enough, it could’ve crashed into the room and crushed me. When my dad went out to walk our dogs that night (and at this point, we’d lost power) one of those poorly-rooted trees fell over. It was pitch black outside, with heavy rain and wind making it impossible to see more than five feet in front of you. We didn’t know if he was alive, because we also didn’t know which tree fell or where he was, and we couldn’t hear each other over the wind.

And I know plenty of people that lived in worse places that didn’t leave, and they got even more fucked over in that first week. The only reason why my neighborhood got power back within a week was because we were right by two schools (my elementary and high school, ironically enough). I know people that had to go twice as long without. Some had to wait a full month because of downed trees and severe damage to the breakers in their neighborhoods.

And again–my street, my neighborhood, most of the people in my school? We were lucky, because a majority of the school body and staff lived inland. People got fucked over for YEARS after Sandy, especially those that lived on the coastline and straight up couldn’t leave, even if they wanted. Their homes were flooded, they lost thousand of dollars having to repair the damages, lost countless memories following the damages in the aftermath. This was happening more than a year after a Category 1 hurricane hit an island.

So the fact that Porg, in her godly wisdom, could go “yeah, baby Nero wasn’t taken to any place that could give him substantial care, but was instead given to an orphanage on a tiny island that was hit by a Category 3 hurricane” completely infuriates me. She did zero research, other than finding a natural disaster that happened somewhere she was familiar with, around the time when she oh-so grandly puts Devil May Cry 3, to “pull at the audience’s heart strings” is not only moronic, but completely ignorant to real people who have suffered in the aftermath of hurricanes.

There is a sentence–just as barebones as the rest of her shit writing–that describes the aftermath. That’s it. And as an added kick, Vergil doesn’t care about it, or how his lover is missing in the aftermath, even though Porg wrote him as someone who cared about her OC very, very much.

(This is arguably the most in character she gets with Vergil, by the way.)

It is entirely possible that, after a Category 3 like Hugo, that Fortuna would be fucking wrecked in the aftermath, especially if it was in the direct path, and especially where Porg put it. Fortuna is an isolated island with no obvious connection to a mainland (at least, established in the games, i haven’t read the novels). Put that next to Florida, which is well-known for getting hurricanes and tropical storms pretty regularly, and I don’t know how the fuck it would be standing, let alone in a state where it could accept an infant.

I think that stupid section was the part where I really, really hated what I was reading. In an age where the internet, where google, where there’s plenty of resources and first-hand accounts talking about hurricanes, the damage they can cause, and the aftermath of said natural disasters, Porg did nothing more than look up a Hurricane that happened around 1989 and slapped into her fic with nothing more behind it than a plot point that made zero fucking sense.

Oh, by the way? All that information I looked up about hurricane windspeed, about when Sandy and Hugo hit? It took me less than a minute to look up and fact-check myself. Porg, learn how to fucking google simple shit before you puke up your regurgitated bullshit.

I’m gonna be perfectly honest. New Moon was the worst book I had ever read until about a week ago. Now it’s just the worst professionally edited book I have ever read.

But I’m not here to just shit on Onision entirely, as much fun as that would be.

The best plot synopsis I can give you for this is ‘It’s about a loser in high school who was written by a guy who was probably a loser in high school and never got over being a loser in high school; so he rewrote his high school days in this deranged fantasy in order to make himself seem both downtrodden and cool, which makes everyone involved come off as a big loser.’ And I would know because I was also a loser in high school. The difference was I got over it!

James, at least, is a person. He’s just not a likable one.

The problem with the acotar fandom is that the people who are too invested and too emotional in a kind of toxic way are the loudest and ruin it for everyone else. People who love nesta and those who hate her literally cannot have a friendly debate, it has to be an argument - and some of them force the view that (for example) if you like the inner circle by extension you must hate nesta. They’re so invested that they’re (to me) starting to talk about the characters like they’re legit real people, yet somehow refusing to see that the characters are nuanced and therefore aren’t perfect (which is more realistic - but that just means they come at their flaws). I completely understand relating to chatacters because of your own experience etc and therefore wanting to defend or condone their actions (like that’s what authors do when they create characters) but there has to be a line somewhere where you go ok it’s fine this isn’t real and the acotar fandom is incapable of that. I am part of the acotar fandom and I mean no hate to it but they need to chill the fuck out they’re ruining the experience. And then there are people who are anti sjm?? Like seriously?? If you don’t like her books don’t fucking read them and don’t look at her fandom content online?? Like why do you need to express your hate for her?? While we are most definitely making a difference on a small scale in terms of the fact that we’re turning people away from supporting him, as well as pissing him off (which is always a plus in my book), in the grand scheme of things, he’s still making money, he still has tons of 15-year-old little fans who call him “daddy” and look up to him like a god, and he’s still going to continue on using and abusing people and never having to experience the consequences of his actions, ever. It’s extremely infuriating waking up every morning and having to acknowledge this - not just about Greg, but about every single piece of shit on this planet ever who deserves to pay for what they’ve done, but who will never get their comeuppance. It’s absolutely frustrating to have to know how unfair this life is, how often good people get bad things, and bad people get good things. So I completely understand where you’re coming from, friend.

Randomly Random - Part 9

Don't you just hate taking showers in the winter? It is harder for me, yes. I don’t wanna get in cause I’ll get cold beforehand and then I’ll take a hot shower, feel good, and then have to get out and feel cold again. 

Do you say "epic fail" a lot? Not a lot, but that is something I say.

How personal does a question have to be so that you wont answer? I think I’m pretty open on here for the most part. Definitely more so than I am in person, that’s for sure.

Do you ever feel like sometimes you have short term memory loss? Sometimes.

What if a stranger came up to you yelled BATMAN & ran away? I’d be caught off guard and just like, “wtf...”

What's your favorite kind of pudding? I love banana cream I used to love banana pudding, but I don’t eat thick stuff like that anymore because of the thickness and texture. My eating habits have changed a ton these past few years.

Did you ever run over something with a lawn mower? I’ve never used a lawn mower.

When someone says don't look do you look? Ha, I can’t help it.

Have you ever played spin the bottle? Nope.

What was your first Halloween costume? I feel like it was a witch. Well, when I got a little older. Not sure about the very first like when I was a baby.

Did you eat your Wheaties this morning ? What was for breakfast? I haven’t had Wheaties since I was a kid at my grandparents house. That was my grandpa’s favorite cereal. Anyway, it’s 4:51AM so I haven’t had breakfast, but I am craving a breakfast burrito from one of my favorite places.

Reading wrap up (Feb, 2019)

I was kinda in a reading slump this month, but it wasn’t too bad. I finished 13 books this month. 

#01 Anatomy of spirit by Caroline Myss

Anatomy of the Spirit is the boldest presentation to date of energy medicine by one of its premier practitioners, internationally acclaimed medical intuitive Caroline Myss, one of the "hottest new voices in the alternative health/spirituality scene" (Publishers Weekly). Based on fifteen years of research into energy medicine, Dr. Myss's work shows how every illness corresponds to a pattern of emotional and psychological stresses, beliefs, and attitudes that have influenced corresponding areas of the human body.

I ended up giving it a two-star rating. It just wasn’t for me. 

#02 You by Caroline Kepness

When a beautiful, aspiring writer strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he Googles the name on her credit card.

I was pleasantly surprised by the book. I thought the writing style would be unpleasant to read, but in the end, I ended up liking it. It does baffle me that some people see this as a romance story, whereas it’s actually a horror. The book was not amazing by any means. I am not planning on continuing the series. I would recommend this as an after-reading-slump-read since the writing was smooth and the story structure was fluid. 3/5

#03 Reindeer moon by Elizabeth Marshall Thomas

A fictional account of the life of a Siberian tribe 20,000 years ago, from the author of "Harmless People" and "Warrior Herdsmen". It is both the story of a daily struggle for survival against starvation, cold and violence and an evocation of spiritual journeys and primitive magic. ~Goodreads

I found the Finnish version of this book while digging through my grandmother's stuff. The premise was unlike anything I had ever seen. I have for some time been curious about prehistoric life. 

The book's depiction of life after death left me feeling hopeful. The story has two timelines, one of the main character growing up and one of her as a spirit. I would recommend this for anyone who loves animals and is interested in prehistory.

#04 Chant and be happy by Swami A. C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada

I haven’t the slightest clue why I decided to read this. The book is about the “Hare Krishna” mantra. I am not much of a believer, and the book ended up being a big meh for me. I would recommend it if you are interested in Buddism. 2/5

#05 Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan

There's no ancient evil to defeat or orphan destined for greatness, just unlikely heroes and classic adventure. Royce Melborn, a skilled thief, and his mercenary partner, Hadrian Blackwater, are two enterprising rogues who end up running for their lives when they're framed for the murder of the king. Trapped in a conspiracy that goes beyond the overthrow of a tiny kingdom, their only hope is unravelling an ancient mystery before it's too late.

It ended up reading a bit too much as a young adult. I think I would have prefered the story more if it was written as an adult novel. The reading experience was weird. I constantly felt like there was just something off with the story. After finishing it, I realised what it was. This book is what shonen anime would be like in a novel format. It was especially apparent in the way the scenes switched and moved on during the third acts. 

I don’t know how to explain it. I feel like everyone who has watched Naruto would know what I’m talking about. 

The story structure and plot twists weren’t the most surprising, but I didn’t really mind. It was an incredibly easy read. I will continue the series even though technically speaking I think it’s trash. 3/5

#06 The unwanted: A novel by Christiaan Barnard

I don’t really know what to say about the book. It was quite average. The characters were forgettable and the plot wasn’t anything special. I am glad I read it, but it wasn’t anything special. I would recommend it for someone looking to learn about racism in 20th century America. 3/5

#07 War Horse by Michael Morpurgo

In 1914, Joey, a beautiful bay-red foal with a distinctive cross on his nose, is sold to the army and thrust into the midst of the war on the Western Front. With his officer, he charges toward the enemy, witnessing the horror of the battles in France. But even in the desolation of the trenches, Joey's courage touches the soldiers around him and he is able to find warmth and hope. But his heart aches for Albert, the farmer's son he left behind. Will he ever see his true master again?

This book was a childhood favourite of mine, and I read it to see if it would hold up. I still enjoyed it, but it was apparent that it was meant for a younger audience. It took me roughly two hours to finish it. I would recommend it as an easy middle grade read. 4/5

#08 Before they are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie

How do you defend a city surrounded by enemies and riddled with traitors, when your allies can by no means be trusted, and your predecessor vanished without a trace? It’s enough to make a torturer want to run – if he could even walk without a stick – and Inquisitor Glokta needs to find answers before the Gurkish army comes knocking at the gates.

I was quite afraid to reread it since second books in trilogies tend to feel like filler. I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up liking the second book more than the first one. The characters, the dialogue, the writing, I adore everything about Joe Abercrombie’s books. I said I was going to do a review about the trilogy in my previous wrap up. I don’t know if I’ll actually do it since I still can’t really say for sure why I love this trilogy this much. 

I would recommend the First Law trilogy for anyone who feels like GRRMs SOIAF is too big of a commitment and want to read something similar and easier. 5/5

#10 Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie

The conclusion to the 'First Law' trilogy is here. Battles will be fought, kings will be made, love will be won and lost and cities will be destroyed. Magic is going to be unleashed, heroes will fall and the First Law will be broken once again. The end may be coming.

I loved it with all my heart. I did go into a small reading slump while reading it since it was so long. 5/5

#11 No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai

Portraying himself as a failure, the protagonist of Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human narrates a seemingly normal life even while he feels himself incapable of understanding human beings. Oba Yozo's attempts to reconcile himself to the world around him begin in early childhood, continue through high school, where he becomes a "clown" to mask his alienation, and eventually lead to a failed suicide attempt as an adult. Without sentimentality, he records the casual cruelties of life and its fleeting moments of human connection and tenderness.

Semi-autobiographical, No Longer Human is the final completed work of one of Japan's most important writers, Osamu Dazai (1909-1948). The novel has come to "echo the sentiments of youth" (Hiroshi Ando, The Mainichi Daily News) from post-war Japan to the postmodern society of technology. Still one of the ten bestselling books in Japan, No Longer Human is a powerful exploration of an individual's alienation from society.

I don’t want to say too much about this book since it is basically a fictitious autobiography of the author. The book left me feeling blue. I didn’t rate it because of the autobiographical nature of the book. 

#12 Room by Emma Donoghue

Although the story is quite dark, the fact that it was written from a child's point of view made it strangely uplifting. The first half of the book was slow, but I think it’s worth struggling through it. 4/5

Onision rant: Pot and mental health

First off it is known that Billie suffers from mental illness, she's talked about it before and what she suffers from is something that pot can help. I too have mental illness (as well as have suffered from PTSD for a while) for over 15 years now, I've been on countless depression/anxiety meds over the last 10+ years, I'm pretty open about all that. Before a few years ago I only smoked pot a handful of times. I am not one of those people that think pot fixes everything for everyone, our bodies are different and different things work for different people (as well as strains/types of maryjane) so this is my perspective on how my body has reacted to meds and pot. Before I smoked regularly I took pretty high doses of Prozac, Zoloft, Buspar, and a few others mixed in there too. On each of these I was still depressed, still suicidal (at times) and still used alcohol to self medicate. As much as Greg wants to say you can just get over a chemical in balance, you can't. My parents put me in therapy from the age of 12 on, I was (and still am) pretty active amoung other things to help with my depression, but it still was there. My mother and grandmother also suffer from depression (manic) so they knew I had a good chance myself of being depressed and tried everything in the books before my mom even considered putting me on pharmaceuticals. As I've stated before I also am a SI of around oh 17 years now. I started around 12 by hitting my legs with yard sticks before moving on to numerous other types of SI (cutting, salt & ice, skin picking etc). Although I tried to stop many many times off and on pharmaceutical meds (and drinking) it never lasted very long, SI is an addiction just like any other, up until I started smoking my longest clean time was a bit over a year. Around 4 years ago I started looking into the health benefits of pot and decided to try it and after a year I quit all my meds (you have to ween off). Since then I haven't SI, I still get low periods but not to the severity I ever did while on pharma meds, haven't been suicidal and though I drink from time to time I don't drink like I did before. I won't say I don't still get urges to SI, or drink even, when I haven't had any smoke but the fact that I haven't is a big step up for me. Greg also brought up how it changes people, he's right but not the way he's projecting. It does change me, it makes me not worry about everything, it makes me motivated ( yes motivated, different strains do different things) to get out of bed and do things when before I smoke and in a low period I only want to stay in bed, it makes my anxiety lesson so I can go to the store on my own and actually talk to people, and it makes me less "moody", it helps my creativity (I am a "artist" of sorts for a living) as well as other professional benefits for me. Infact about everytime I write about Greg here I've smoked before because without it I 'freak out', partly anxiety and that no one will like what I have to say and partly cause he brings up bad memories of bad people in my life. I like that he brought up porn addiction in the newest video, wasn't that a big issue with him and sh, him watching so much henti (I'm guessing teen henti). As for pot being addicting, to some sure I'm sure they can get addicted to pot, but I'm willing to bet that those people also have an addiction personality type (and we all have our own addictions). I know my addictions and I've never felt that need for pot like I do SI, drinking and tobacco. If I wanted to I could stop smoking tomorrow and never look back, but I won't cause I like my semi sane mind over my insane one. With this what bugged me about his newest vid was the putting pot over loved ones and wasting money. If it was between my child eatting and pot food would win, if anything pot has helped me be a better mother because again I'm more sane then without it (something my smoking friends also feel), and no I don't smoke infront of my child, I hardly ever get "stoned" either (like maybe when I'm child free and I'm in a low point). As for price, it's cheaper for me to smoke then it is for me to take meds. Plus often when I was on meds I still drank a lot and spent around $40-100 a week on alcohol. Pretty soon someone I'm close to is also starting a farm so even now that I have some kinda insurance and could get some meds that don't work for cheap, cheap isn't free and it doesn't matter if it doesn't work. I have a theory that the main reason greg is against mind altering substances is because it would bring out his evil. One of my Greg like ex's was emotionally abusive when sober, but never physical, when he did get physical ( and until the end it wasn't even that bad of physically) unless he was drinking. I think Greg is a sociopath, I think he was made this way not born this way. I think he saw this in his mother (whom I believe made him the way he is) and he doesn't want that side to come out. The way he projects this on to other people shows his ignorance that thing affect people differently, while also showing his controlling manor. Unless the persons drug is actively hurting you, be it physical or emotionally, it's not your business. I'm pretty sure Billie smoking pot (imma guess mainly not around them as well) isn't hurting nither of them; it's just a control thing and I bet it bothers Greg more than lain, since he speaks for them. Greg is an ignorant prick, instead of worrying about what your girlfriend does (that probably helps her mental illness) he should worry about his porn (first henti) addiction since he's still panning young girls for sexually provocative photos after being called out for these photos, even though it will eventually hurt his family; can't make youtube vids nor be a father in jail.
