Butch hadn’t made much of an effort to make his acting seem all that convincing in the first place so he’s not too embarrassed when Roland calls him out about it; still, he looks a little bashful for a moment, a sheepish smile taking up his face. He’s just glad that the vampire seems to find it endearing as evident by the fact that he’s still willing to let him stay the night, even if he wasn’t actually feeling ill.

“Ain’t that a good thing, though?” The cowboy asks jokingly before following alongside Roland into the building; he looks around as they make their way to the elevator, a little confused at first as they step inside. There had been elevators in his time, though they weren’t electric. One would have to use a pulley system in order to raise and lower the cabin and people usually weren’t riding inside of them, so it’s a bit new to him in its own right. As the machine makes its way up, he gets a weird feeling in his stomach similar to butterflies from the sudden acceleration upwards—hey, that was kind of fun!

Exiting the elevator, he follows Roland to his apartment and steps inside as the door is held open for him, intrigued by the interior. It was reminiscent of his coffee shop in a way, what with the homely interior.

“A sofa jus’ fer me? Looks comfy!” Butch observes, used to sleeping on rather uncomfortable surfaces. “Yer livin’ th’ high life, huh? Lookit all this stuff. Ya even got one’a them fancy picture boxes!” How exciting! His place was modernized but not to the point where it was confusing to Butch, atleast not from what he could tell so far anyway.

Now, Roland was no mind reader. But he liked to think he was pretty good at reading body language. Not to mention, he had been a Triage nurse in the military--he knew what an ill person looked like. Butch had been chatting his ear off this entire time, and had good color to his cheeks. Even without his poor attempt of pulling the wool over Roland's eyes, it was obvious that he was fine.

"...you know. If you wanted to stay the night anyways, you could have just said so at the beginning." Roland gave him a lopsided grin. "You're a terrible liar. Come on."

Roland punched in his code to get into the building, leading Butch through the foyer and into the elevator. It was a short ride, only 6 floors, before they'd step off of it into a long hallway. As they walked past the doors, Roland began fishing for his keys in his pocket.

"I've got a sofa you can sleep on, and plenty of blankets and pillows you can use. You're welcome to the shower and the fridge, there's no risk of you accidentally grabbing one of my meals."

Roland unlocked the door to his studio apartment, and held it open for Butch to step inside. It was open floor, decorated with antiques and plants. It had a distinct early to mid 1900s style to it, with a touch of modernization with the addition of tech and appliances. Most notable would be his kitchen area, which looked similar to his coffee shop; with an at-home espresso machine and extensive liquor cabinet, it was clear which area of his home he spent the most time in. Once Butch was through the door, Roland closed it behind them and locked it again.

"Feel free to make yourself at home. If you're feeling queasy at any point, there's juice in the fridge you can drink, and I have medicine in the bathroom cabinet."

- osamu: cooking (recipe vids, ‘cooking things from this pop culture thing,’ food related challenges, ‘teaching my roommates how to cook!,’ etc.)

- kenma: streamer (gaming as well but mainly streams lol, basically how everyone else paints kenma HA)

- kuroo: public interviewer (“hey shawty, [insert dirty joke],” ‘asking girls if they like an*l?????,’ trash form of content, kinda hate him but he’s hot so he has subs)

- bokuto: exercise youtuber (‘my workout routine,’ ‘what i eat in a day,’ ‘getting my dumptruck,’ etc)

- akaashi: booktuber (basically has online book club LMAO, book reviews, ‘reading gabbie hanna’s poetry???,’ has read all of onision’s books on his channel, etc)

- suga: diy (troom troom type beat except actually useful, voice like butter that’s why ppl watch, ‘5 easy flip flop hacks!!,’ ugly thumbnails)

- daichi: fix-it youtubers (basically ur dad lmaooo, ‘how to change your tires,’ ‘how to fix your pipes,’ everyone is obsessed with him cs he’s v attractive and they have daddy issues)

- oikawa: fashion youtuber (‘what i would wear at fashion week,’ hauls, runway reviews, fashion history vids, award show red carpet roasts, etc)

- iwaizumi: manager-chan (organizes tours, meet n greets, etc, makes sure that ppl are actively collaborating ((except not for u lol)), besties w oiks hehe)]

- sakusa: asmr (like zach choi but he doesn’t eat, wears black latex gloves and his black mask, always dressed in all black, whispers occasionally n everyone is obsessed w his deep voice, mostly does ear cleaning / sleep trigger vids)

Susie and Melania probably did, but Meta stopped them from trying to finish him off.

He wants to hear a confession first….make sure of it all. I think hes hoping to be wrong, deep down, but its been so suppressed by his desire to protect Dreamland from any threat — including him, if hes right (Susie and Melania feeding his doubts certainly didnt help in making him realize things sooner).

Morgan is nervous about kids not liking her or thinking she's scary, and she's scared that she'll mess up with them. It isn't that she doesn't want them, I don't think, it is that she's just not sure how to start getting over her fear and suddenly being put into the spotlight with Jumin and this teen that needs help, y'know? I think they'd have a bigger thought on it since it's their OC, but I have my own assumptions just from interacting with them usually. It is kind of sweet to see a somebody who seems tough and hard to just go soft and gentle.
