Luigi Mangione, 26, was reported missing to San Francisco on November 18, 2024, by his mother, who last spoke to him on July 1st, 2024. Luigi's friends and family had been unable to reach him for about six months, and nobody knew where he was. Luigi's mother, Kathleen Mangione, believed he was in San Francisco. Weeks later, after the December 4th killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, San Francisco police noticed a resemblance between Luigi’s missing person photo and the surveillance images of the suspected killer. They tipped off the FBI, though their information was just one of hundreds being investigated.

On Sunday, December 8th, San Francisco police contacted Luigi’s mother, who confirmed that the surveillance images resembled her son. The next day, Luigi was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after being recognized at a McDonald's. Luigi, currently jailed in Pennsylvania, is contesting extradition to New York and plans to plead not guilty. His family expressed shock and devastation, extending prayers to Thompson’s family.

The perpetrators name is allegedly Matthew Cobson Harris Floyd Junior (according to him, but this sounds fake as hell.)

There are two fatalities: a student, and the perpetrator himself.

Here’s some photos that are, allegedly, of his social medias / manifesto (?), and Instagram.
