In Swap Au the beginning of season 4 is slightly different from the canon one.

Macaque steals the scroll from the underworld and plans to use it to trap Wukong. He keeps it hidden for a while, waiting for the right moment to use it but Mei finds it and opens it by accident, getting her mentor stuck in it.

The young dragon panics and asks Tang for help, hoping that the century-old monk will have some trick up his sleeve to help them. Alas, the only way to free Macaque is to go in themselves, but not before having warned their friends about what was happening and asking them to keep an eye on the scroll while they are inside of it.

They struggle for a while to find where the shadow demon ended and in the meantime end up reliving a few points of the Journey West.

During their travel a mysterious inky figure has been chasing them, forcing them to retreat always just before they could get them. It's then that Mei and Tang meet Azrue. The lion acts like he's a redemption villain, trapped in the scroll for his past mistakes that he now regrets and offers the two his help with keeping the inky creature at bay while they look for their friends.

All of that is obviously a rouse and instead of finding and freeing Macaque, they free Azrue's sworn brothers, Peng and Tusk.

But to everyone's surprise, the two sworn brothers don't want to follow Azrue's plan and are actually and are actually really concerned with the lion's obsession with Sun Wukong.

Azrue storms away, taking the scroll with him and the inky creature he had managed to leash under his control.

Next thing the heroes know is that Heaven is at war and the monkey tyrant is winning

You know, I love the Brotherhood! Specially Wukong, Macaque, DBK, Azure, Yellowtusk, and Peng. Not to be confused with the Camel Ridge Trio, consisting of just the last three. But while on the topic of the three, it reminds me that they're said to be from the Celestial Realm. Presumably, all ex-celestial guards like Azure.

Which leads me to the first three. All from the Mortal Realm. Two OP demon kings and one guy who just so happens to be friends with one of them.

You may ask.

Well, I don't know. What if I came up with an AU where Wukong keeps on heading up to the Celestial Realm to cause mischief, but instead of Nezha chasing after him, it's Azure? This becomes routine for a while, but then Wukong drags DBK and Macaque into this. And of course, with TWO more troublemakers on the loose, himself and a couple of guards ain't gonna cut it. So this is where Peng and Yellowtusk get involved. And maybe JUST MAYBE these enemies can become... lovers in the process????

Fun idea I’ve had bouncing around about Remus:

You know how queer/neurodivergent kids have that one teacher that they bond to? You know what I’m talking about- you’ve seen the memes about the gay kid and the English/art teacher bond.

I like to imagine that Remus just has a tiny group of kids who hung out in his classroom to feel safe.

He would leave his door open constantly and during lunch, he would offer to call a house elf for hot chocolate, tea, biscuits or other sweets for the kids. If he noticed one of his kids doesn’t eat lunch, he would quietly pull them to the side and ask what was up.

The kids would talk to him abt literally anything under the sun. Some would even go and ask for help for other classes (quite a few for potions, none of which were slytherins)

He’d have a small bowl of pride pins and flags up for grabs on his desk which his kids occasionally take, always causing him to give a little smile to the kid.

I don’t know. I just image Remus as the designated safe teacher. He’d be the one to notice a kid struggling and offer help or ask what’s wrong. He’d be the one that students go to when they have problems at home, were being bullied or just needed someone to talk to.

So for your golden emperor, AU, does MK still live in that little apartment above Piggzy‘s noodles or did he move to the top of FFM now that SWK lives up in the celestial realm?

He still lives in his apartment, but they remodelled the little cabin in FFM so it doesn’t fall off with just seeing it. It serves as meditation temple and sleepover centrum for the Traffic Light/Chimera Trio (his apartment is still too small for the three of them)

So basically, FFM is more of a relaxation place for any in the monkey gang. Sometimes Macaque appears to take care of the monkeys but then leaves (he has his own home, and no, it’s not the dojo lol)

I’ve been thinking of an AU of this for a while now due to the similarities between each story (magical school of wizards with respective houses of each powerful mage), however as I think more there are even more character similarities some, depending on how you view Yuu

Golden Trio ⭐️- obviously Ace, Deuce, and Yuu, my favorite trio

Deuce ♠️ - Harry Potter. I can’t connect many similarities between them, but at the same time I can. They’re both boys who love their parents and just try to do the best in what they can, especially since both have been given a second chance to succeed in this magical world. Now, Deuce isn’t perfect but he is trying and is not overtly prone to breaking the rules. He’s sweet, innocent, while still having bite to his bark. A bit clueless at times but with good intentions.

Ace ❤️- Ok now this asshole is perfect for Ron (I’m joking). But honestly his more outlandish personality does have some comparison towards Ron’s sarcastic personality. He’s more on the laid back side whilst still being a valuable friend. (Also they’re both ginger lmao) Plus his relationship with Yuu is more on the chill play fighting side, anyways…

Yuu 🦐 - Hermione, this one can be taken lightly depending on how your version of Yuu is but one thing is for sure: they always get Ace and Deuce out of overblot situations and manage to use some sort of semblance of a brain to figure shit out. However, in my AU let’s say that Yuu too is trying to make a life for themselves by working hard and doing the most they can of their schoolwork. Yuu also being the glue that holds these two idiots together. And honestly her whole schtick as the school therapist now makes sense

Grim 🐱 - Crookshanks. Nothing more to say, just Yuu’s stupid cat (with love)

Also the whole racist thing with Hermione and Yuu could have a connection, since Yuu basically has no magical abilities, yet are able to attend this magical school and work their way up. And because of this, there may be students opposed to Yuu’s magiclessness (mudblood—)

Malleus 🐉- Victor Krum, this is slightly stretching it a bit but I can see these two sharing similarities. Malleus and Krum are both exemplary at their respective wizarding sport (Spelldrive, and Quidditch) and are known to be prodigies of it. They don’t have many friends due to being viewed as Gods, Celebrities, etc. in some way and therefore are quite lonely. Attracted to this specific person for not fawning over them and for seeing who they really are, and are able to appreciate their brains for what it’s worth 💚💚

“And, in recent news, a new hero has arrived in Wàn Qiān Chéng…” On screen, a hero in glimmering gold loomed over the wrecked city. His laugh rang in the air as he pulled out a red and gold staff. “So far, little details are known, but what can be known is that his name is Qi Xiaotian, believed to be age 21-” The TV shut off.

“And that’s what I found.” The Gold-Winged Peng crossed his arms, staring at the TV like he was tempted to throw a spear through it. “Sun Wukong has found that child he was searching for.”

“He’s just a boy,” The Yellow-Tusked Elephant hovered by the window, looking over the city. Over the centuries, Lion Camel Ridge had transformed into a marvelous city. They had done their best to make it into a paradise and there was almost nothing worth threatening the city or their people. “Sun Wukong’s son or not, there is no way people will take him seriously.”

“Please, people said that about Wukong,” Peng opened a cabinet they kept and reached for a fridge in the back. A bottle of red wine was something he grabbed with a grin. Yellowtusk shook his head at the offer. There was no response from the third person in the room. “And look at him!” The cork popped out and he poured himself a glass. “A menace of his own creation! His son will probably be worse!”

“The boy-”

“Is probably marked as a weapon of Heaven!” Peng’s cackle was harsh enough to make everyone wince. “Knowing that bitch of a lapdog, they were probably the first he showed him to!”

Yellowtusk sighed. “Your opinion, Azure Lion?”

The third of their group had been quiet through this conversation. The head king sat on the couch, mouth set in a firm line, gripping the pillow. His eyes were locked on the TV. His eyes briefly flashed purple before he blinked, looking between them.

“He sounds like a risk,” he finally said, tapping his claws against the pillow. “Getting close to Sun Wukong, however, is always a risk.” None of them could forget the threat their former sworn brother had given Azure when he had rescued the monk.

Stay away. Or Heaven will make you regret it.

“So, what shall we do?”

Azure stood, brushing himself off of dust. “Keep an eye on him. See what he does. I want to know everything about him.” If he was like he hoped and if they played their cards right, maybe they could restart the alliance with Flower Fruit Mountain. A smirk formed across his face.

And maybe another shot at Heaven.

Golden trio as Kents Au (...title pending)

Part one - Part Three

In this part I wanted to look a little at the dynamic between Clark and his surprise siblings.

Clark didn't get to go home as often as he'd like, between work at the Daily Planet and with the Justice League he tended to have trouble getting back to the farm more than a few weekends a month.

The farm and his parents were his rock; one constant in the flurry of life as a superhero journalist. He knew no matter what he could come home to Ma's and Pa's warmth.

Maybe he'd been to complacent because now, standing at the threshold of the house after months off planet, he was embarrassingly off kilter.

The house was full of laughter. Not unusual between Jon, Conner and their friends but these voices were unfamiliar. Taking a breath Clark entered the house.

As Superman Clark knew he had patience in spades, but for some reason the three kids his parents had brought in managed to push his buttons in ways no one had before.

Ma said that it was just what younger siblings did but Clark had gone over thirty years as an only child. Pa thought it was hilarious.

Now Clark didn't hate them; he actually thought they were amazing kids who'd clearly been through it. He'd been able to connect with them over being away from their planet. He made sure to make time for each of them, flying and stargazing with Danny, playing whatever new video game Tucker had discovered or listening to his latest discoveries, working in the fields and finding new vegan recipes with Sam.

However laying in the cornfield being slowly smothered, it was hard to recall any affection held. He knew it was on purpose too because he could hear Sam cackling in the distance. Why she felt the need to attack him with corn he didn't know. It was another prank in the long series they'd started after Clark's sixth visit.

Danny said they were trying to give him the authentic experience before proceeding to 'not touch him' for an hour straight (And despite what Ma said Clark knows he was using his intangibility).

Tucker was a bit less obtrusive with his pranks, choosing to change Clark's ring tone and phone background after every visit. Clark had learned the hard way to make sure it was changed after his phone blared City Girls in the middle of an interview.

He'd thought Sam was the only one refraining but clearly she'd been waiting for him to drop his guard.

At least they were comfortable.

"you, luffy, that's you" - his homework? never complete; his handwriting? so shit it feels like ants crawling on paper; his uniform? something has to be missing always whether it's a button on his shirt, tie, belt, something. - one time he pulled up with one sock missing and when asked, he shrugged and said "sometimes things happen" - why did he say it like that??? - somehow, despite it all, he manages to pass (nami tutored him forcefully and made him pay her later) - best friends with the martial artist!zoro and cooking prodigy!sanji - nobody knows how these three are friends??? but they are ig - also, i headcannon him as the guy who is like 4 feet and after one summer comes back stretched out (hehe, pun intended) - always so kind to others even if he doesn't know them, always willing to help freshmen out and run errands for you if you need help - nobody knew he is related to his older brothers (ace, sabo) "how are you their brother??" "idk? how am i??" - just the bestest boy ever, golden retriever energy all day every day no matter what universe it is

zoro:

- you take one look at this mf and you think, ah here is the classic delinquent, stick-up-his-ass martial artist and you couldnt be more wrong - he is never dressed right but that's cause he doesn't know how to tie a tie and listen if he had the willpower to find the right socks at 7 in the morning, he will - he is just an incompetent fool, trust me 😭😭 - gets late on the regular cause he always takes the wrong turn - the one "jock" who isn't anything like a stereotypical jock? like he hangs out with soon-to-be valedictorian nami, idiot luffy, theatre kid!ussop and cook!sanji - nobody can understand how this friend group was formed??? - actually gets asked out a decent amount of times and always says "nah, im good" and walks away to his friends - people are starting to suspect if he's dating luffy from how hard their bromance is going "zolo!!! gooDMORNING!!" luffy yells as he launches onto zoro in the middle of the hallway at 8:03 am on a random tuesday zoro casually drops his backpack to catch luffy "morning" zoro replies as if it's casual behaviour - the amount of trophies the school has in his name is insane (nation level martial artist, roronoa zoro) - he is actually decent at school, he is just average and he's fine by it he doesn't give all that much of a shit in the academic sphere - casually pulls up to the parents-teacher meet with thE FUCKING WORLD REKNOWNED MARTIAL ARTIST, DRACULE MIHAWK??? "i see he passed in all his exams. how wonderful, zoro. let's leave now." "aight" - he doesn't even think twice when asked if he knows mihawk, he's just like "yeah that's my dad what about him?" - a certified dumbass in every universe

- listen to me this mf went to masterchef junior and fucking won and people only know this cause the school hyped him up and not because he wanted people to know "omg sanji did you actually win-" "no that was my twin brother sanjo, please leave me alone" - actually prim and properly dressed, shows up at time everyday and gives in all of his assignments and submissions well before the due date (he is partially responsible for keeping zoro and luffy on track) - he was the one making cupcakes when nami was organizing a fundraiser for a nearby orphanage, he was the one who baked cookies cause sabo wanted to hand them out on his last day of school, he was the one who baked cakes for his classmate's surprise birthday party - rumor has it if you get on good terms with sanji, a mysterious box of homemade chocolate will be there in your locker the next day - despite all the hype he has, mf still gets no girls - like luffy, he is insanely kind to those who need help - has gotten almost suspended once for beating up a senior year kid for bullying a freshmen (luffy and zoro just stood by and laughed as that kid got his ass handed to him) - he is the son of THE FUCKING OWNER OF BARATIE, A FIVE STAR MICHELLIN RESTAURANT THAT IS FREQUENTED BY CELEBRITIES ALL THE TIME "omg omg sanji is it true that the rock visited your restaurant last night?!" Full name is Evarin Aldrich Whitewood, he comes from a Pureblood Family, where his Parents are fond of older and more Fancyish names(though he doesn’t have the fanciest name out of the three Whitewood Kids :).

If you can’t tell, Ev doesn’t like people all that much, he’s rather solitary and studious, only having a few close friends.

My whole 'au' kinda story thing is split up all between like seven of these characters, all being the main characters of different seasons and having their different friend groups. For instance, Ev is not all that great of friends with Kevin, Robyn, Lottie, and so on.

Along with those, he has the main storyline, and the majority of the Quests, but not all.

Wand: English Oak, 11.8 inches, Phoenix Feather Core

Born: Nov. 28th 1996(Part of the Cutoff Crew, with Daniel, Robyn, and Kevin)

-His favorite Classes are Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration, and although they aren’t classes, he enjoys Dueling and plays Quidditch as a Chaser.

He might not strike you as the biggest Quidditch fan, especially seeing as he prefers to spend most of his time studying and such, but he uses the games and practices as time to get his mind off of certain things.

(Which was partly short lived, as the Freys became the Team Beaters a year or so after he made the team himself. Though he has to admit…they aren’t exactly a hindrance to the team, as he feared they would be)

-Being a Slytherin, Ev shares a Dorm with both Daniel and the Frey Brothers, so you can imagine how divided that room is..and not just in friend groups and opinions of each other.

Evarin is a bit of a Neat-Freak, though not to an extreme degree. He can’t focus in a messy space, and very much prides himself in his attentiveness.

The Frey Twins are the complete opposite and prefer to use the floor as their storage space rather than their trunks or drawers. Ev can excuse a lot of things, but actively leaving your room looking like an Erumpent rampaged through it is not one of them. Daniel is better, but does often have organized messes.

*Also for context in my story Daniel is a Slytherin and Ivy is a Ravenclaw, yes i split up the Golden trio i’m sorry Ivy just doesn’t fit Slytherin imo…so i went with what the official art put her as :>*
