Summary: You have a bad day and tried to handle it on your own but Zoro knows better and comforts you.

Today, you felt like everything around you is about to crush you. You couldn’t eat breakfast without feeling a heavy weight on you.

"Y/n-chan? Is something wrong? Is the food not to your liking?"You shook your head, looking at Sanji with an apologetic look. "No. Your food is amazing as always. I just have a lot in mind. That’s all." You reassured him and started to eat again.

Then, when the others tried to initiate a conversation with you, you brushed them off, not wanting to burden the others with your feelings.

"Oi, Y/n! Let’s-" "I’m sorry Ussop but I don’t feel talking right now. Maybe later." Ussop nodded, a bit thrown off by your odd behavior but he didn’t questioned it and went to Chopper.

The crew was normal. The Wege laughing, bickering, working or just relaxin. But you. You felt like crying. It was as if you didn’t belong to them, making you feel even more like an outsider. You know exactly that it’s not the case but you couldn’t help yourself.

So you went to your room in the girls chamber, closing the curtains and turning off any light there was. You just wanted to lay down alone.

You let your body drop ok the bed, slowly letting everything, in form of tears, out. A son escaped your throat, then another one and another one. You couldn’t stop them and your didn’t wanted to. You wanted to be alone for a while, hoping that no one would come in.

Though you must’ve forgot how observant your boyfriend is. "Go to her." The sudden voice behind the swordsman made him flinched. Robin, who just spoke up, started at him. "She hasn’t been acting like herself the whole day. You should go to her."

Zoro nodded in agreement and made his way to the girls chamber. Nami saw that and was about to yell at Zoro when Robin shook her head. "Let him be. Y/n needs him." "I see. Alright." Nami smiled and continued yelling at Luffy.

"Y/n?" You looked towards the door to find Zoro, his soft voice calling out for you. Tears were still rolling down your face but you didn’t want him to look at you in that pathetic state.

"Please, don’t…don’t turn on the lights." You begged in a shaky tone. Zoro immediately knew what you meant: Please don’t look at me.

That’s what you meant by those words. He let out a sigh, closed the door and walked up to you. "We don’t have to talk. Just don’t hide your feelings from me." Zoro let himself down next to you, his swords on the ground.

You made space for him, turning yourself to face him while he laid down next to you, wrapping his arms around your body. You instinctively pressed your head against his warm chest, finding comfort in your boyfriend.

Zoro your hear your sniffles and felt your tears drop on his chest and it hurt him. It hurt that you’ve been feeling down an he only realized it now. His heart arched in pain seeing you in that weak state.

"You don’t have to hold back, y'know? Why do you think you have me? To brag?" Your mood was lifted by his words. He was right in a way. As lovers, you should support each other anytime without doubt. And right now, he’s supporting you. Holding you. Comforts you.

"I-I’m sorry. I just didn’t want to ruin the moon on the ship." Zoro snorted at your apologize. "Don’t apologize for that. Just let me stay with you." Luckily, the room was dark so couldn’t see his flushed face.

Silence filled the room. You were thankful for that. As time passed, the tears stopped welling out of your eyes and you felt tired. "Zoro? Thank you for being with me.." Just as Zoro was about to answer, he heard your quiet and peaceful snores.

The swordsman tighten his arms around you, pulling you closer to him while he himself drifted off to sleep.

"Look at them. So Zoro can be soft." Ussop giggled while looking through the tiny slit on the door.

"He’s treating her so gentle. It’s almost unfair." Nami pouted playfully but knew you two deserved each other.

"Let them be. They deserve some privacy as well." The whole crew who just watched your two from the door flinched as hands suddenly blocked their view and closed the door.
