Concept design sketches for the main cast of Sonic Adventure in my superhero human AU! With both their hero personas and secret identities! (Or, in Knuckles’ case, his real identity and a casual style disguise for going about the city unbothered lol)

ALSO if you’re wondering why Tails and especially Big are still furries here… well this isn’t just a human AU, it’s also a superheroes AU so they all have the same powers that they have in canon! Tails is a shapeshifting kitsune who still uses his two tails to fly, and Big is a mutant and the local cryptid of the Mystic Ruins… but he’s still just a chill dude who likes fishing! He’s not exactly a ‘hero’ but he does have powers and likes to use them to help out his friends :)

#ffxiv #sketch #zenos yae galvus #adventurer zenos #thancred waters #im thinking of a “cant stand each other for more than an hour- but knows where the other keeps all their stashed weapons”#kind of relationship #a mutual respect of strength and capability but very little else beyond it- at least at the start -sees each other as reliable eventually #but are very rarely seen around or talking to each other if there are others present- though I do personally imagine zenos going to him #for advice- mostly because I imagine Thancred being very direct and honest with him out of the rest other than Alisaie #the tanking duo of zenos eating all the damage so thancred can tear into their target #thancred gets to know a literally giant self sacrificing punk and has to take a moment and look at himself #the first time zenos throws himself in the way of something to shield him from it #you know- warrior/gunbreaker duo privileges #also zenos accidently fueling a rivalry because I just see adven!zenos as the type of guy to push those around him to improve too #one sided rivalry for the most part- i imagine most of the scions struggle to read him but he's just chilling there either relaxing or #silently appreciating his new friends- well his definition of “friends” at least LOL #also #zenos “i can nap anywhere” galvus #it simply continues on lmao

#Doodles #Adventure Time #Fionna and Cake #Simon Petrikov #Winter King #Winterkov #The first five are all in sequence and then from there it's a bit sporadic #I dunno if this is one I'm gonna finish by they did both turn out very cute so I wanted to show some of them off lol #It's mostly a headcanon comic about how they differ in attractions (basically how much influence the Crown has on Winter)#I initially compared Winter to a slightly more chill Bill Cipher - a non-human entity inhabiting a human body #Probably tempered by how much Simon is still left over - not a lot but even a little does make a difference!#In that there's a lot of things the Crown might get out of a human body while still experiencing an entirely alien interpretation of stimuli #It's all just a lot of character analysis headcanon stuff lol - the Winterkov is still the main focus! Here anyway lol #I am very endeared at the idea posited by some fanfic writers that inviting Simon to the lab was just a pretense lol #He /did/ have to get out of his clothes before getting into new ones lol #They really do both have such lovely designs ah <3 They're fun to draw!#This was a lot of settling into them - I love the little floof-lifts that Winter has from Simon #His hair is long but it's still not completely able to weigh itself down from his voluminous bob! Very cute #The nose ears and shape of Winter's glasses really set him apart but their similarities are so fun #And while it's not featured here Simon's shy little smiles vs. Winter's big and loud expressions! Their contrasting features are so neat!#Very enjoyable character design

#wolfgang grimmer #ginko #kuroo hazama #balsa yonsa #master keaton #these are characters that all have a specific type of vibe #they're all a little transient and don't really stick to places or people very long but they're very chill and generally helpful #idk I just could grab any 2 or 3 of these characters and see them working well together in Situations #they would also make a good adventuring party tbh. good blend of healers and combatants #theres other characters that COULD fit this description but I left out because they're either too intense or outwardly depressive lol #doesn't quite fit the vibe #also I could be absolutely off my shits about blackjack I've only seen a little so far. he just has the Vibe of these guys to me #but yeah. any combination of these characters could make for either a good relationship dynamic or adventuring dynamic or both

was fishing on the pier in the forest and Leah (who i hadn't talked to yet, i'm replaying and have to talk to everyone) walked up right next to me and started sketching lmao. i know that's just her schedule, but it was nice and friendly in a way. she ended up watching me for a little longer before heading home at night. the bestiesssssssss.

hmmmm i know going up to banff on the friday of the long weekend is probably a bad idea, but also what if i went to banff on my birthday?

#Idk if it’s any good but it’s been a few weeks that it’s existed on paper so now it’s digitally drawn as well #there is a plot also #that is mostly figured out #So ask about that if you want that kind of exists just probably not well considering I haven’t technically watched Adventure Time #but eh I know hopefully enough for this au #anyway! So Scarab is an acidic water spider beetle creature thingy. (These two are both made of magic water stuff) he works as and disguise #as a fire spirit type creature instead though with the help of a neat little magicy necklace #Prismo is a mermaid type water spirit and is supposed to keep his little corner of an environment nice and cared for #which he does and well but Ig he meets Jake who’s a fisher or something and has been having trouble catching anything because Prismo’s a #little too efficient with that and also other reasons #they get along or something Idk and Prismo helps him catch some fish #a lot of it because Prismo has little concept of how many fish are too many fish or something Idk #anyway he isn’t really supposed to do that #other spirits are probably suspecting something like this is going on but they don’t think he’ll cause any harm so they’re pretty chill #about that Ig #Scarab however is of course not and has nothing better to do #Ig he ended up with a really cramped environment or something and didn’t like it much thus jealousy and also other factors? Idk. Idk. But #anyway he quit that and works as a firespirit instead as kind of a law enforcement Ig and yeah pretty much tries to get Prismo in trouble #it doesn’t particularly work naturally #Orbo still doesn’t care etc etc #Scarab gets fired which was Not meant to be a pun but sure take it that way Ig bhdfbvjhdfbvhjbdfjhvbfdjhb lol #and at some point Prismo found out that Scarab is also a water spirit and is really confused because like.#Yeah without context that’s a little confusing sure Idk #Anyway this all pretty much goes like Fionna and cake does except Idk of F&C and all of that exist so really it’s more so just the Scarab #plot in a different situation without all those characters??#Idk #also maybe Jake drowned at some point (Prismo wasn’t there and didn’t cause it) or something a while before #and Scarab has been busy but now he has time to get Prismo in trouble #maybe Prismo tried helping someone like this again or the environment thingy of his went into a little disrepair following the death #Idk dude this stuff is just vague ideas
