Damn this took me wayyyyy too long to make, but I wanted to create some film posters that actually made sense in my save - meaning, posters that actually had MY sims - and only those that are actually actors - on them and not sims that have never existed anywhere in my game. The reference for this one was the korean drama called '사랑비' or 'Love Rain' and I found the layout over on Pinterest. Blender Scenes are 'Christmas City' and 'Lavender Fields' by @ kiinascenes "Poses" are by me. (" " because there's no poses. I just attach dae's to rigs and pose the sims directly in blender.)

THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Dust particles, botched press conferences, testy teens, VIPs, bombings, assassinations, military intrigue, national abandonment, hacking, camping, and eyeglasses.

HOT TAKE: I have not yet seen the American version of this show, but damn, this was a democratic rollercoaster of an experience. Everyone is out to win something whether it's an improved South Korea, dirty revenge, or just maintaining some semblance of governmental sanity.

This show has a real 'let's use the same 3 hallway sets over and over again' problem, but the familiar environments just made me care that much more about the acting masterclasses happening between their walls.

Ha Soo Bin was also a rookie, plus this was also around Uhm Jung Hwa's debut time, and before Jin Shil did "Jealousy" and "Nambugun". What a time machine video. I am in LOVE.

Also - Hee Ra and Choi Jin Shil BOTH covered a Lee Jiyeon song each - Hee Ra sang "It's Not Too Late" (one of her more underrated songs but I LOVE love Hee Ra's rendition of it, she did so well!) and Jin Shil went for "That Reason Was Pain To Me", our resident sad girl anthem. (may she RIP). Yeom Jung Ah, fresh off the Miss Korea pageant, sang Lee Jae Young's "Temptation".

Crash Course into Romance. 8

Comparable to: Crazy Love (kdrama) ; My Strange Hero (kdrama)

This drama was the talk of 2023 on Netflix. Was it a bit overhyped, meh…..a tad. Don’t get me wrong, the first half of the series is probably the best I’ve seen in a kdrama in a long time. At first it’s a simple romance story between two middle age characters with an other sub storyline of the hardships of how teenagers are pressured through school by their parents. It’s done brilliantly at first. Unfortunately it took a nosedive around episode nine and didn’t recover much. There is a murder mystery suspense plot that gets thrown into the mixed. It sorta jars the whole series getting quite predictable and very corny as it unfolds. The drama is still very watchable especially a must watch at least once, especially for Jung Kyung-ho who for me was the highlight throughout. His scenes with Jeon Do Yeon were perfect. And for Oh Eui Shik. Epic.
