🇦🇺 ☠️ 🚨 CELEBRATED JOURNALIST AND JULIAN ASSANGE BACKER, JOHN PILGER DEAD AT 84
The celebrated Australian journalist and public backer of Julian Assange, John Richard Pilger died at age 84 today.
Pilger was a strong critic of American and Western Foreign Policy, and became well known as a strong backer of Julian Assange in his fight against U.S. and British imprisonment.
Pilger was known for his books, films and articles informing multiple generations on several critical issues such as the U.S. wars in Vietnam, Iraq and the U.S.'s aggressive moves towards China in his documentary, "The Coming War with China."
Pilger was a winner of a multitude of awards over his life, including the British Journalist of the Year twice, and was also awarded the Consortium News's Gary Webb Freedom of the Press Award.
In recent years, Pilger was a strong anti-Imperialist and anti-colonialist who became banned in Western Mainstream media and would only appear alternative and independent media.

I have some questions about karaoke night, Alex Hirsch. Very Important Questions. Which I will happily scream at a poor hapless baby triangle who can have no answers for me, and possibly also does not have object permanence yet.
Follow-up that is I guess suggestive, but let's be real here, Bill's a fucking triangle:
Dude slipped right into his birthday suit, lmao
this is so stupid :D
Anyway, I don't care what anyone says, this brilliant individual knows what's up - Bill is absolutely way more of a monsterfucker than Ford could or ever will be, full stop.
#fanart#billford#bill cipher#stanford pines#gravity falls#book of bill#i watched gravity falls because i was curious about all the Toxic Old Man Yaoi on my dash and wanted context#turns out most of the context was in the book of bill tho lmao#look they either banged or married or both while drunk and i will accept no other possibilities#you don't use the phrase 'and one thing led to another' in a PRIVATE JOURNAL if what happened wasn't salacious in some way#i mean - ford didn't exactly grow up in The Most Inclusive Time Period???#dude was probably like 'gotta use this wording for plausible deniability - NO ONE can know i boinked the talking triangle'#in other news - i must bully the baby billy#don't know how much more GF stuff i'll toss up here but i have a few other little scribbles in the works. probably won't color them tho lol#also don't ask me why bill's bowtie stays where it is despite his “pants” being under it. just. just fucking don't ok???#EDIT: oh and since i see this a lot in this fandom for some reason: DO NOT REPOST THIS PLZ K THX :D

Whatever the result is, I will attempt to recreate it as a drawing!
#poll#I know some of you are curious to hear an update on my hell trip. Good news! I already have thumbnails for my day one comic journal.#A lot happened! There was a comically large block of cheese! I got lost in the woods at night!#But I digress. This post is about charcuterie. Which is apparently a high artform that people have strong opinions on.#I am genuinely curious to see how the results distribute. My hunch is that the board will be hilariously unbalanced#but I am willing to be surprised! Plus it is an opportunity to try drawing something outside of my zone of comfort.#Good luck to this board. I think...it will need it.

extremely funny genre of post on this web site is when people forget about places with a population density below a few thousand per square mile and are extremely confident about everything
someone says "all right everyone if you need access to this particular thing here's how you can figure out how to find that thing in your area, step one do this" and then one or two reblogs later they reveal that there was actually a secret step one and secret step one is "live in a major city where tracking this down isn't actually that much of an issue for you in the first place"
#i'm not mad i'm just. like. okay. the real answer for people outside major cities is pretend you live on a farm in the 1800s#and plan to venture Into Town for Provisions#and figure out where you're going to go and go on a road trip#maybe you're going to a major city#maybe you won't get anything because there's nothing there because you haven't had news over the winter#come back and write in your journal about whatever transpired#and then you have to make sure to get started on planting the corn or whatever

Caption on post -
Interview with released prisoner and cancer patient Mohammad Aklouk, who had been detained since the start of the war. Mohammad describes the horrific conditions of his detainment, including the small, oppressive cell windows and the inability to see sunlight. The repression units frequently ordered prisoners to drop to the ground and brutally beat them. Mohammad emotionally recalls a fellow prisoner, Mohammad Al-Kahlout from Jabalia, who was struck in the head and died in his arms. Aklouk is one of 70 prisoners who were released on June 11th 2024 through the Zikim crossing west of Beit Lahia currently staying in Kamal Adwan Hospital.

This is one I missed earlier, it's from 19:10pm GMT on the 9th of November 2023, so almost 2 hours ago
This is DEEPLY fucking concerning. It also explains the earlier report about Reuters denying they had prior knowledge too. I can see them using this as 'justifiable cause' for targeting journalists.
In the way they claim Hamas is in every mosque, ambulance, portaloo, I'm waiting for them to start saying the journalists they murder were ones who recorded footage from the 7th.
