We don't talk enough about how fluctuating needs don't only mean day-by-day. They can change pretty rapidly throughout the each day. Hour-by-hour, or even within minutes!
Anyways this lack of acknowledgement caused me to feel a little strange in the beginning because there was just no representation for my experience! Even though it should go without saying, the way a lot of people present having fluctuating needs is as if they know exactly what their limits for the day will be first thing in the morning when they wake up and that's just Not Me.
So, I'm here to let you know that you're valid for needing to make adjustments to your accommodations throughout your day, and it's okay that you can't predict the future daily. Just be prepared and make sure nobody gives you shit for it, not even yourself!!

letting myself unmask has been so nice at times because i'm seeing my boyfriend express joy much more readily too. who knew me being expressive and all that would do so much good!!!
#today was touch and go but overall much better than yesterday where i was watching a musical (not my thing) and it was legally blonde (cool)#but everyone's voices were so shrill (ouch) and the audience was clapping (ouch) and talking a lot (ouch)#and i was three rows back from the stage so the lights were bright (ouch) and there were strobe lights (ouch) and the person seated next to#me kept touching me when she turned to talk to the person next to her..... AND my joints were killing me but we had to walk everywhere from#the theatre to the restaurant we ate at for dinner. which was a byob. and i didn't know we were going to a byob or i would've b'd my own b#but my bf's family doesn't drink so it would've been awkward anyway. and no one talks to me and i don't talk to anyone but yet i'm expected#to be there for some reason (??) i'd rather stay home honestly. horrible time. i couldn't even vape because of said family#so i had zero pain or anxiety relief that whole time. and i had the longest meltdown in the theatre. and i couldn't finish bc intermission#so i had to just like. force it down so i could sit there in silence for 15 minutes while everyone else talked to each other.#and then after all that we still had a 40 minute car ride back home. with my bf's mom.#and then today she invited us to the park with her and my bf was like 'do you wanna?' and i couldn't say no in front of her so i said yes#and then felt SO anxious because god. i just needed A Day. so then i shut down. but then i communicated what i was needing to my bf#and we had a nice walk at a different park on our own. phew#i do Not mean to complain but goodness. pre-autism i would've blamed myself for everything that happened#but now i can properly commiserate with people who understand me LOL anyway. look at some of the crazy shit i went through yesterday

10/10 would recommend warmies if you have extra to spend on something cute. They're basically plushies but you can put them in the microwave to warm them up and use them as a heating pad. I bought mine to help with period cramps, but now I'm using them to help with my chronic pain :) (I have the manatee and dinosaur, and named them Wilson and Yoshi)
I know not everyone can afford these, as they're pretty expensive, and capitalism bad, but you have to find joy in the things you can, and for me, that means buying random cute shit.
[image ID: a picture of a gray manatee plushie on a white background. It's just kinda sitting there, but it looks like there's something heavy in it because it spreads out at the bottom.] (please help I've never done an image ID before and idk how to do it)

you've been writing so many good animagus!reader fics lately ilysm for it:33 what animagus would you want to be, if you could??
and ilysm for reading them bubs, thank you<33
this might be a bit controversial, but if i had the option to become an animagus; i simply wouldn't lol. i don't think i'd enjoy it? i have enough to deal with with my human body, i don't know if i'd be able to handle adapting to and juggling another form. too much for this little witch!
now say i either had to or had some magical potion heal all of my bodily aches and problems; i think i would want to be a cat or something that flies. my biggest (unrealistic) dream as a kid was to have wings and be able to fly, but now that sounds tedious and strenuous lmao. however i still believe it would be epic to just fly from place to place and not have to deal with transportation. the downside is that it's difficult to cuddle birds properly, so maybe a bat? or one of those flying squirrels lmao. as for the cat, writing cat!animagus!reader has fuelled my already existing desire to just lay around as cats do. be all liquid and purring and nonchalant, you know? sounds nice. if i were to be an animagus, i would want it to be a break from my human existence and not an added layer of tasks, e.g. i wouldn't want to run around the forbidden forrest or go hunting or any such thing. it'd either be for cuddles or for making my life easier, and i stand by that laziness 100%.
did this question demand this much of an in-depth answer? absolutely not. did i enjoy musing anyways? oh yes i did. have a lovely day babe<3

Feel free to get specific in the tags :) I have a hot water bottle my goodest friend gave me and it's got a really cute pink bunny cover so it's comfortable to use as well as aesthetically pleasing (which I feel is something often overlooked in med supplies/pain relief items!)
I also have the grey cat Warmie his name is Mr. Teatime (like. that freak from the hogfather)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But most recently my heating pad has been the most practical though bc I no longer have a microwave and executive function and pain is a bitch and a half, so I don't always have the means to fill up my bottle because I'm. Suffering too much already. I can't wait to get a whole heated blanket again though! Love those guys

NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric: A User's Review (After a Month of Use)
As someone who has been dealing with joint pain for a while, I was interested in exploring natural remedies for managing discomfort. After some research, I decided to try NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric with its high dose of curcumin and emphasis on improved absorption. Here's my experience after using it for a month:
Tumblr media
High Potency with BioPerine Boost:
I opted for NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric because it delivers a powerful 2250mg of curcumin per serving. This is significant because regular curcumin has notoriously low bioavailability, meaning the body struggles to absorb it. The inclusion of BioPerine, a black pepper extract, is a big plus. Studies have shown BioPerine can significantly increase curcumin absorption, potentially maximizing the benefits.
Experience and Results:
I took the recommended dosage of three capsules daily with meals. The capsules are a manageable size and didn't cause any digestive issues for me. In terms of pain relief, I wouldn't say it's a miracle cure. There wasn't a dramatic difference overnight. However, after a few weeks of consistent use, I did notice a slight improvement in joint stiffness, particularly in the mornings. My knees felt a little more flexible, and overall, there were fewer aches throughout the day.
It's important to note that everyone's body reacts differently to supplements. While my experience included some positive changes, it might take longer for others to see results, or the effects might be more pronounced.
Additional Observations:
Organic and Vegan-Friendly: I appreciate that NatureWise uses organic ingredients and caters to those with dietary restrictions by being gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO.
Dosage Considerations: While three capsules a day aren't excessive, some users might find it a high pill count.
Limited Clinical Claims: The product mentions supporting joint and cardiovascular health, but specific clinical references are lacking. It's always best to consult your doctor before using curcumin for any specific health condition.
Overall Impression:
Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience using NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric. The high curcumin content with BioPerine for better absorption is a strong selling point. While the pain relief wasn't dramatic, there was a noticeable improvement in joint stiffness, and I believe continued use might lead to even better results. If you're looking for a natural approach to managing joint discomfort and are willing to be patient, this could be a good option to explore. However, keep in mind individual experiences may vary, and discussing potential benefits with your doctor is always recommended.
Additional Notes:
It's important to maintain a healthy lifestyle alongside taking any supplement. This includes a balanced diet, regular exercise, and managing stress.
If you experience any side effects while using NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
I hope this review provides valuable insights for those considering this supplement. Remember, your individual needs and experiences may differ.
