personally, I think Biden’s biggest mistake was even agreeing to debate him in the first place. If a schizophrenic person on the street came up to you and started accusing you of being an alien hired by the secret CIA-backed-cabal to steal all of their cutlery; you wouldn’t go into litigation with them and try to prove to a court that you are not an alien cutlery-thief, much less engage that person in any serious conversation. that is what I feel Biden did. and I think that it not only wholly undermined HIS legitimacy (and the legitimacy of his party) but it simultaneously legitimized Trump and lent him credibility as a candidate that he is completely undeserving of. Trump isn’t a serious politician, but by taking him seriously, Biden helped him seem like one.
