All federal employees have received yet another threatening email on the weekend from a random email address outside our agency demanding every one of us reply with five bullet points to prove what we quote “got done” last week. (Which was also the week many of our coworkers began to be fired with lies about their performance, btw). Not included in the text of the brief email, was the fact that musk tweeted that anyone who does not respond to this email by Monday will be considered “resigned”.

Many assume, because there is no way musk and his gang of teenagers can read over 2 MILLION responses, that they will be feeding our responses into some sort of AI, which will then make calls on who will be retained.

Hot Tip on Fighting the MAGAs -

Don't. At least not physically.

Instead, fight them by being the opposite of them.

When they spread hate, spread kindness.

When they try and divide, include.

When they speak lies and rumours, learn facts and truths.

When they act with anger and rage, stay peaceful and content.

When they show their ignorance, educate yourself.

Is this easy? Nope.

Will it change MAGA? Highly doubtful.

What it will do, is show others' that there is hope, that there is good, and it will be a reminder to keep on going, keep on trying, DO NOT GIVE UP.

Getting uncontrollably angry, feeling despair, being less-than-kind (even to those that may not deserve it 😬), won't make you feel better, and likely won't help in the long run.

Project 2025 ain't gonna roll out all at once. So what we're gonna wanna do is make passing each individual part of it as difficult as possible, so there's less to undo once we finally get this country back on the rails.

If you are a USAmerican in a relationship that might be affected by legislation that dissolves same-sex marriages, who may no longer be recognized as next-of-kin, especially if you have children, get your rights in writing!

Your marriage certificate may not be enough to prove you have rights to make medical decisions for non-biological children or for a same-sex spouse or partner.

Go to a lawyer, get it spelled out as clearly as possible that you have a voice in emergency medical and legal situations.

As of Jan 21st, 2025, a full copy of the constitution is no longer available on whitehouse.gov. I feel like this is a good time to remind everyone that the biggest threat to authoritarianism and facism is a well educated and informed population. Inform yourself and fight.
