Not too long ago I saw people talking about Mariah playing Ethan and I had to draw her (plus it was an excuse to draw Joey Ethan as well :) ).

This is the original lineart by Megan:

As you can see, it includes a couple compositional elements that I didnt include in the final render. My reasoning behind this was, because I am focusing on detail and colour work, I wanted the composition to allow the colours to stand out as much as they could! Specifically the spider web behind Webby there- I had it kept in for so long, but it ended up drawing the eye away from parts that I wanted to emphasise more. (Don't worry, the artist said I could change the composition!)

This, with my usual mess of halftones, texture brushes, and blocky chisel tips. Then, to get to the final product, it was a matter of some strategically placed colour dodge layers, multiply layers, and a nice background. (This makes it sound so much easier than it was, the lighting itself took me about 3 hours, that fire?? Sophia's fire??? Took me TOO LONG)

Knowing “Nerdy Prudes Must Die” was the first idea the Lang brothers had for Hatchetfield makes the whole series so much funnier.

Like, did they know in “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals” that the weirdo who demanded a hot chocolate would be the leading man of the high school horror show?

Did they know the prude they mentioned a few times would be a homophobic murderer who defiled a corpse, fucked a ghost, and became a vessel for dark lords?

Was the homeless man joke in BEFORE the recast because they were still brothers, or not?

Ok, but like, imagine if we got Joey!Ethan in Black Friday. Joey!Ethan has always struck me as more of a nurturing depiction of the character (in part because of the dialouge, but also in part because of Joey's performance I think), so I feel like their dynamic would be really sweet. But then, he dies. That would be devastating enough on its own. But then, imagine how fucking scary the "it's just like california" scene could be if it was THE SAME ACTOR WHO ALSO PLAYS WILEY. It could be so chilling to reinterpret the scene as Wilbur specifically taking control of Ethan. Just imagine that performance. You know Joey would fucking eat that scene and leave no crumbs. Haunting shit.

Since Lex and Ethan also went to Hatchetfield High, Max would have definitely tried to get on with Lex, mirroring his thing with Grace but this time the forbidden fruit is that she's a senior and she genuinely doesn't give a flying fuck about him.

My headcanon is that Lex and Ethan would have have beat the shit out of a younger, less jacked Max Jägerman constantly every time he tries to shoot his shot lmao >:3 and if it happened earlier on in Max's freshman years then Lex might even beat his ass psychically like how max levitated Richie

The image of Joey Richter's Ethan Green absolutely bodying Max is so funny considering he also played Peter Spankoffski 😭 Ethan did say in Nightmare Time 2 that if someone else was seeing Lex, then they're dead so yeah lmao mwahahahahaha
