The fact this is from the same episode. Same episode. I didn’t see it live but. The way we see it joey played Dan Reynolds and the cineplex teen, went off screen and shaved so he could play Wilbur like. An hour later. Joey richter is truly talented and dedicated to his characters.

Nobody ever talks about the fact that Wilbur is wearing StarKid pins whenever he shows up.

Yeah, I'd hear you out if you said the SK could mean something else in-universe, or even that StarKid is an actual production company there that happens to sell merch for completely mundane plays. But there's a pin of Paul's face from the TGWDLM playbill, and unless for some reason StarKid's in-universe counterpart specialises in writing RPF about random average people, there's no way he could have gotten that exact pin off a merch store.
