How can Astrology Help in To Get Rid Of Toxic Bosses
A supervisor or a boss is one of the hardest elements that anybody can run over. He/she is somebody who really practices complete authority over you. The startling actuality is that everybody feels powerless before him/her. Give us a chance to endeavour to make sense of this circumstance mysteriously and look for recovery. It is surely known that not every person can be his/her own particular…

Curly's little blurb on his steam trading card just keeps reminding me he is a much more miserable person than people realize.
We don't get a lot of his thoughts, inner confliction that aren't bogged down by what Jimmy says or does. Even in the The Last One and Then Another, his dialogue is reflective, not the Curly before the crash but the result of everything. Parts of the him he was are there of course, but also disfigured and warped beyond recognition just like he is physically.
Tumblr media
Curly really doesn't think much of himself and desires. He clearly chases fleeting moments of happiness. He doesn't really have prospects for himself, assumes in a similar way to Swansea, that if it should make it happy then he is happy. Though, he hasn't reached the point Swansea did to admit it doesn't. He neither sees the glass half full or empty, it's just water, something he needs and he'll take it from any perspective.
He wasn't running from anything but he's never really been going towards something either. He's listless. I've been using the term complacent to describe how he feels about his life and the closest people (really just Jimmy) in it, but now that word feels too neutral, too nice. Happier than Curly really was. There isn't just one word for it, he's unfulfilled, uncertain, uninspired. There are no active problems he faces and that's the issue, why should he be upset?
I believe he really is a person who doesn't know who he is or wants to be. He follows a structure. I don't think he's suicidal, but he clearly doesn't think about what makes him happy. He's numb. I suppose that is a better word than complacent, used to the feeling even if he hates it. It doesn't hurt so why stop it?

even though i know the leverage team gets back together as soon as season 2 starts and we barely see any time of them being apart, it makes me unreasonably upset that they not only spent six months apart, but that they didn't know they'd all join back up eventually!! like wdym hardison spent months trying and failing to track down parker?? wdym parker gained a family and then spent half a year alone again?? wdym eliot had found a way to do some good or have some kind of purpose until it was suddenly over?? wdym nate & sophie had finally caught up with each other but came to realize that neither of them were in a place to have that relationship and spent months not knowing if that had been their last chance??

Driftwood MMC - Year 1 - Spring
This season, the crown collected $13,203 in taxes. Which is a lot! According to the official rules, I think that unlocks the Communal Well, Village Green, Hedge Tavern, Church & Cemetery, AND the Weekly Market?
I will be adjusting that a little, I think! They'll unlock the Military Barracks (which you are meant to start out with at the begining, haha), the Village Green, and perhaps the church.
No births, deaths or marriages happened this season. But all the toddlers grew up, much to my relief! And everyone just about managed to pay their taxes, which is always good.

I really like the variety of households the dice gave me. Some big clans, some tiny families, and a few in-between!

Episode five is really delightful because we all knew something was going on. The writers were clearly aware that their audience was going to hear "The Vampire Armand" and immediately think something like "yes i recall him from the superprison of the multiverse's greatest villains in lego batman." So it was funny that Armand was so smug and precise about exactly how much longer he'd been with Louis than Louis had been with Lestat but now it's hilarious and weirdly poignant. we saw you armand!!! we saw your face when you finally heard lestat say i love you, intending it for your recently briquetted boyfriend. it's so satisfying.

hey guys remember like a few days ago when a good chunk of this fandom thought ed and stede weren't going to reunite until like the very end of the season, or at least that they were going to spend a big chunk of the season separated? and then the full trailer dropped and suddenly we got all this footage of them in the same frame interacting and everyone realized how unlikely those predictions are??? and how literally just a tiny bit more detail changed everyone's perspective on things?????
anyway yeah maybe we need to all think abt that for a minute and like. rethink the way we're treating certain theoretical s2 plot points as if they're a given.

man... I complain sometimes but I really do love my job. I love helping people and I love crafts and I love having a place for everything and I love the way the laser cutter smells and I love seeing so many people doing so many different things. and if I could have this job for years and years I would be so happy truly. but. I can't.

Moderns who wanna be trad, really shouldn't pick the 50s to do it about if they wanna call themselves trad.
There was nothing "trad" about the 50s. First of all, the idea that women don't work and aren't involved in actual *production* let alone household production, was relatively new and... to a large degree, downstream of much of pre-war household production being augmented by technology and mass production. the idea that a household of five people could be supported on 40 hours a week, without the wife and children also being involved in production, was absolutely downstream of technology. So was a woman running a house without having to have a team of servants.
The "nuclear family" was a stepping stone toward atomization, in an economy that lasted for about... five minutes. It literally was a cultural artifact lasting twenty years only.
And it was futuristic as fuck, and downstream of technological innovation, not a return to the golden days, which most people actually remembered as quite horrible.
If you really wanna live in the spirit of the 50s for any reason but the shittiest and most sexist/racist parts of it, you'd want several Roomba's and a self driving car and would be the world's most annoying space nerd.
And you'd be great with stronger unions and you'd probably be okay with vaccines

So according to the Have I Been Trained website, two of my older fanfictions have been used for AI training. To say I'm pissed is an understatement.
They may be fanfictions, but they're still MY work. My time, my energy, my emotions. They were not for someone else to take and use to contribute to this immense danger the livelihoods of creatives. And now I have to worry about literally everything that's on my Wattpad account potentially being scraped, because that's where those two were taken from. Fortunately it doesn't seem to have touched my Tumblr or AO3 at the moment. I think AO3 added something try to limit scraping a while back, but if this shit ever finds my Tumblr I'm throwing hands.
Before I go, quick PSA If you feed other people's work into AI, you're a thief and you are actively contributing to professional writers/artists losing their livelihoods. If you use or pay for generative AI that use work taken without consent, you're a thief and you are an active threat to the survival of creative workers.
If you're an artist, Glaze your work if you can. I heard someone made something similar for writing that I'm going to look into. If you use Glaze, consider Nightshade too, as it will damage the datasets your stolen work is put into to further discourage theft. I hope a Nightshade for writing comes out soon.
