Me: I’ve gotta beat Silksong as quickly as possible (so I can safely look at fanart and read fanfiction-)
Enemies: DOUBLE DAMAGE ATTACK GO!
#I feel like I started with three masks instead of five#I understand it’s to make you think more carefully about encounters#but goddamn run backs are brutal#you likely won’t beat any boss the first try that does double damage#even enemies that don’t do double damage can do double damage#cause they’ll have this slash attack that hits you#traps you#then hits you again#I do like that most enemies are smarter though#they’ve all got more personality than most Hollow Knight enemies#and even with the generous double damage handouts#the enemies are still pretty fun#Silksong
