What you taught was your dream quickly ended. You rarely talked about what you wanted to do in the future and that included talking to Kyujin about it. However when you and Kyujin both joined JYP you pretty much were sure that your life goal of being an idol will become real, and it sort of did. Yes the struggles of being a trainee were real and you did always double guess if being an idol was worth it.

It was something you wanted, but not always. Unfortunately your dreams were crushed after getting a major injury during 2020, you were devastated of course. Your best friend, Kyujin, did hope you would return but instead you didnt. You decided that it would be best that you just support Kyujin behind the screens.

When you heard that Kyujin would be debuting in a group (at that time JYPn) you were excited. You were the first person Kyujin texted to let you know about the news and of course you were excited!

When it did come to her and the groups debut you were even more excited, being there for their debut song ‘O.O’ release. Then if suddenly, she stopped contacting you. Maybe it was just because shes an idol and cant give you the time she could when she was a trainee. Yes, you were still supporting Kyujin but now more all members, however you still were wondering why she hasnt texted you. At the same time maybe it was because of the massive amount of hate they were getting which you never understood why that even happened. Its not if the hate affected the members, its that they indeed did.

As if somebody at JYP knew you suddenly received an invite to visit the members. You did suspect that it was a fake invite afterall, a massive and rich company invites you to meet the members? It just seemed impossible, nonetheless you visited them the next week.

Entering the building you showed them the letter and then you were sent to the practice room; “NMIXX Practice Room”

The person opened the door for you and saw only one person there. Maybe he accidentally led you to the, but no. It didnt seem like it.

“Hey?” You said trying to get the other persons attention

“Hey” It was Kyujin. You should have known. No one would invite you to meet NMIXX suddenly if it wasnt someone who knew you. That person was Kyujin.

Walking back home you couldnt forget how beautiful she looked. Yes, you always found her adorable and complimented her, today was something different. The next couple of months you did start to text her more and more often and she was also quick to respond too!

Whenever a comeback was announced you were quick to give her the support she needs. At the same time you were feeling sort of…guilty? You were supportive of Kyujin which you didnt mind, but only her, while you had the chance to always meet all of the members.

“Then lets meet them” Kyujin said before leading you out of the practice room

“Wait, now?” You asked

“Yes.” Kyujin said

“But-” You tried to say before she grabbed your arm and quickly led you out. You were sure that somebody will notice how you and her were holding hands, which to your surprise no one did!

The ride to the dorm wasnt really that long, either because you were lost in thoughts or the traffic was a lot less today. However when you did arrive at the dorm you were nervous, the members know about you, so it really shouldnt be this awkward but it is.

“Hello?” Kyujin said entering the dorm “Alright either they are asleep or-”

“We waited for you!” Jiwoo said

“You did?” You asked

“Yes” Bae answered

“Well to be fair Kyujin talked about you for like a month straight, so we decided to suggest the idea of her inviting you” Haewon said

“Well that makes more sense” You said

“Hey wheres Kyujin by the way?” Haewon asked “She was with you, but didnt come with us in the living room”

Of course you didnt really believe her, you knew she was jealous, she also knew she was jealous. It was really just a matter of time when Kyujin will admit it, but for now she wont.

The next couple of days were kinda annoying for Kyujin, she was always thinking about you. She knew she had to do something about it but didnt know what.

“You are in love, Kyujin.” Haewon said

“Im not” Kyujin said “Its just…i care for her.”

“Care for her? Sure. But i would say that you are in love” Haewon said

The members decided to invite you over to movie night and a sleepover, of course you did accept it. That should have been a huge sign. The whole night was really just Kyujin trying her hardest to not cuddle.

In the end all of this was just a date for you two. Kyujin knew, the members knew but you didnt.

You couldnt be happier right now, Kyujin also couldnt. The next day waking up you had her in your arms, your relationship is still new so you forgot for a moment that shes your girlfriend, not best friend. Sleeping on the couch in the living room together with Kyujin was a bad idea, as anyone could walk.

When you woke up in the morning, you tried to look for your phone but gave up and checked Kyujin’s phone instead it was 7am. You tried your best to not look at her notifications, they were mostly from other social media and then, ‘NMIXX’. It makes sense that the girls have a groupchat, there werent many notifications, only Haewon mentioning something about you and Kyujin, however you didnt really pay attention.

You moving around did wake up Kyujin but not fully.

“Y/n…” Kyujin said, her morning voice was something you never heard even after all of the sleepovers, this was the first time.

The next couple of hours were you and Kyujin hanging out in the living room, you did try not to be obvious but that wasnt working when Kyujin was clearly cuddling with you.

You were sort of relieved that you broke the news to her. While yes, the others still dont know and shouldnt for a while there will come a time where both of you will have to break the news. You couldnt live in the dorm forever, so you decided to finally say your final goodbyes but before that you needed to break the news to others. Lily and Bae sort of knew so it wasnt that hard to admit. You and Kyujin invited both of to the living room, where Haewon was still there.

“So, why did you call us here?” Bae asked

“Did someone die?” Lily asked seeing Haewon not responding

“No one died” Kyujin said “Me and Y/n are dating”

“Oh, congrats!” Lily said

“For how long?” Bae asked

“Since last night” You responded

“I guess them cuddling this morning was a sign” Bae said to Lily

Breaking news to Sullyoon was different, you called her down with the thought of breaking the news. However when she came down you were surprised.

Afterall breaking the news wasnt as difficult as you thought it would be. However after you went away, you knew Kyujin would get sad and miss you a ton.

As her birthday was coming up and you havent seen her and the members in almost 2 months you knew you had to do something.

Meanwhile the members already quietly went away, they thought its better to leave you both to be than to be in the middle of all of it.

hello tumblr im writing a novel. as one does right. it’s vaguely a slice-of-life maybe??? idk there’s probably a plot but rn it’s just the characters being characters and occasionally i put my guys in a Situation or two. you’re gonna love it, trust. so there’s this 17 year old trans guy right his name is jax. it was cloud for a while but dw about it, he’s jax now. he’s got some Issues but it’s fine. he’s got a little sister (she’s 6) and he takes care of her and also has a job to pay for groceries and also his mom works like 60 hours a week probably idk, so she’s kinda gone a lot but it’s chill he’s thriving. (he’s not.) he’s a very caring individual, mature and has no problems whatsoever he swears (ignoring the fact that his grades are dropping and he Needs those to get scholarships for college and one of his jobs fell through and also his childhood best friend is back in his life and he’s being an ASSHOLE now but it’s fine he’s got no issues.) btw his dad is gone, he might come back, he probably comes back, idk why he left in the first place yet. we’ll see.

SO. this childhood best friend right. his name is harley. he’s a horse girl and his parents are divorcing and he is so sad and so angry all the time right. he wonders a lot what it would be like to have wings. he wears jackets even in the summer bc they make him feel bigger and his favorite jacket is his letterman. he’s also smart! like really smart. and he’s good at taking notes and his teachers like to volun-tell him to be a tutor sometimes. he’s got siblings too, he’s not close with them. they fight all the time. he might have an ex idk yet, i think he might. he potentially also has a girlfriend but idk about that yet either. he’s also got a toyota corolla i think. and ALSO!!! floating around here somewhere im not sure where she fits yet possibly harley’s ex definitely jax’s friend, is josslyn!!! she’s a hotheaded wrestler girl with an affinity for red lipstick. she’s also perpetually angry, just in a different way. more cocky and daring than sad and mean. she’s got a VERY strong sense of justice and would like to kill all public figures. i think she wears skirts idk yet, she’d def also wear tank tops and cargo pants but who knows not me. she wants to go to college parties. she does, once. she drags jax along with her and it ends terribly. she gets very in over her head very quickly and doesnt know when to quit. if you tell her not to do something or that she cant do something, she WILL be doing that something and she WILL be in your face about it as well. she’s possibly also a lesbian.

you decided that it was time to stop

Holiday Harbinger 2019 for @paxveraque

Hi @paxveraque ! I’m your holiday harbinger (thank you @masseffectholidaycheer for organising) I struggled a bit with what to write because I read all about your Cassandra and kind of fell in love with her and her history and wasn’t really sure how to get her tone properly because you write her so well, so I decided to write about Garrus instead who we all know and love and I really hope you enjoy this. 

The air is hot, not even a speck of dust was stirring in the standardised meeting room, all grey metal and bright lights. Garrus’ feels like his plates are melting in the stifling room and he struggles to focus. Someone is saying something about the First Contact War but Garrus can only really catch every few words. He hates these kind of training seminars.

History, he thinks, is best left behind.

He wants to be on the range, practicing his shooting. He wants to be reading case files and actually doing something rather than being forced to sit in this room, with its too small chairs that don’t accommodate his talons and learn about how humans fucked up the carefully balanced system the Turians had policed for centuries. It’s happened hasn’t it? Surely the best thing to pay attention to was how to deal with it, what to manage, what to fix, where they go from here.

Garrus hates feeling static.

Finally there is a pause in their lecture for the day, and there is a scraping of chairs and tables as people shift and file out of the room into the C-Sec corridors. He goes out to grab a hot beverage, hoping that this time he doesn’t pick up some Batarian crap by mistake.

“yeah you heard their considering a human spectre?”

He overhears and that stops him right in his tracks because okay, humans are pretty courageous, he’ll give them that, but spectre status? Please. He can’t imagine any human matching up to Nihlus. He lingers a little longer, hoping to hear more, but apparently, it’s just rumour and hearsay and he doesn’t really have time for this.

He heads straight to his office, passing by a group of humans in N7 gear and that is enough to get him to keep watching. The leader of the group has this look in her eye that Garrus recognises somehow, he’s about to stop, about to follow her when someone bumps into him, making him drop his notes.

“Ah, I’m so sorry,” the Asari says, her cheeks blushing a bright pink even through the blue. Garrus shuffles together his papers again and attempts a smile, flaring his mandibles. He adjusts his subvocals despite knowing the Asari won’t get it.

“No problem, have a good day,” and it’s dismissive he knows, but it gets what he wants as she practically runs away and he turns to try find that woman – but too late, they’ve moved on. Oh well. He’s got cases to cover.

Lately, though, he can’t help feeling like he’s on repeat, one thing after another, always the same red tape, always the same forms to fill. His talons itch to dig into something real. He stares at the paperwork on his desk and sighs.

Maybe real wasn’t what he was built for.

The job is given to him in hushed whispers, behind closed doors, though the irony of glass partitions does not escape him.

Saren.

They’re not sure they can trust him anymore, and Garrus is handed this like some sort of prize, like investigating their top Turian spectre is a reward he’s gained, as if turning his back on a fellow Turian should make him happy.

Shit, he grew up hearing stories about Saren. He admired him.

But, he’s a good Turian, he says he’ll look into it and when he does…there’s a whole lot of information to find and it makes him kind of sick to the stomach.

As soon as he finds out about Saren it’s like opening a can of worms, he knew there was corruption but what he didn’t know was how incredibly tied his hands would be. It’s like there is a block at every turn and through it all he hears whispers of someone.

Cassandra Shepard.

Something in the way people say her name makes his heart stop, but then he reminds himself that this isn’t some fairytale. This isn’t some story where there’s a hero and they make all the difference.

He’s just a lowly C-Sec officer and she’s just some military hotshot of the week.

But, goddamn, if it doesn’t sound like she’s actually getting shit done.

He meets her in a whirlwind of gunfire, she shimmers into view before him coming out of her tactical cloak, a shotgun on her hip.

“Let her go,” she says.

The moment of distraction is all he needs to save the kidnapped doctor they were here for. After that, everything is fast and loud.

She’s a force: focussed, brutal, efficient.

It’s like watching a sniper rifle in action.

Something about it falls into place for him, this is the first time he really feels like something is happening. After months of twisting and stopping at every turn, of chasing Saren around in circles, she shows up and bam. Clear lead. Clear information. He needs this.

He runs after her after everything is done. She’s about to go talk to the council but he stops her before she goes in, he almost feels shy.

“I want to come with you,” he says, all bravado in his voice even though he doesn’t feel any.

When she agrees, he almost doesn’t believe it.

He watches her argue with the council and sees the quiet passion and determination in her stance. There is a calm intensity to her that he can’t take his eyes off and he wonders why the hell the council can’t seem to see it also.

His decision is so easy then, he walks away from C-Sec without any regrets, knowing he’s following the right person.

And as he steps onto the Normandy, its white and black gloss and blue dimmed lights reflecting through his visor he feels it.

The thrum of the engine, the clank of his talons on the runway…this thing here, whatever it is, him following Shepard’s footsteps as she leads the way, her smile as she turns back to welcome him aboard.

This is real.

PART 1

The Pack and Humans have had a peace treaty that kept them hostile towards each other, to further this peace holding the Humans and The Pack decided to take step forward and meet up and hold a peace gathering between the two families.

The day came and Both Kings sat down at the dinner table in the werewolf territory for safety measures. They begin to discuss the measures they need to achieve to uphold the peace even longer as the war continues on. This started when a werewolf mated with a human, it started an uproar and New Age. People were furious but after a while they got over it, the New age started when two different beings mated, it messed with traditional values and biology. They created a new race, before the New Age a werewolf had never imprinted on a human before. The commotion caused the Royal families to take some precaution towards the new findings. Both kingdoms were not heartless, this was something that wasn’t taken light heartedly but also not sadistic, both races decided to not separate the mates from each other so they made a peace treaty that will last a long time.

A new threat rose when the Kims were in power of the Pack and the Songs were in power for the human race. The vampires, weren’t the most vicious out there in this world of supernaturals, because the Fae were the worst, but the races dealt with them long time ago and they don’t bother the species anymore. The Coven wasn’t the friendliest either, but they mostly minded their business.

But now they are out for blood for some reason that occured a long time ago. So to keep the peace with at least someone, the Kings of the Humans and the Pack met to discuss a marriage between their kids. The human Princess, Song Yong Sang and the Pack’s Prince, Kim Jong In. granted it is not the best position that she’s ever been in, but it wasnt the worst. Being a warrior princess and a stubborn daughter wasnt an easy thing that her parents agreed on. But they still love her which is why she’s still here today, she really wanted to fight them on this meeting but she couldn't really do anything about except whine about it. Which she did to her younger cousins Hyun Jin and Ji Mi, step sisters but inseparable since a young age.

“I just dont get why I have to go” she whined, to them the night before as they came to visit and ask her if she’s getting married.

“Its your chance to meet him and decide from there, you’re jumping to conclusions right now, he could be a very kind person, you know” Hyun Jin tried to reason with her.

“But I dont wanna meet him, I am fine being single” she huffed

“You’re being immature, have you ever thought that maybe your parents arent going to marry you off in a jiffy, they’ll probably agree to let him court you first” Ji Mi rolled her eyes at her tactics.

“I am sorry, who’s older here? Cuz its seems to not be the oldest” Hyun Jin teased. Yong Sang rolled my eyes smiling at her.

“Give him a chance you might actually like him, i mean have you ever seen his face? Its angelic, I am sure he’s very kind” Hyun Jin added after a moment with a sigh, again my eyes were completing a circle but this time Ji Mi joined me.

“Is that all you care about?” she grunted kicking her softly. She grinned at us before continuing, “Dont be like that! You know he’s very hot, especially his Nobles? I cant even believe that such fine human beings could exist” she sighed dreamily and very dramatically.

“That’s because they arent, they’re werewolves” Ji Mi deadpanned

“So this is what you guys do on your spare time when I am not around” she mused at them, Hyun Jin and Ji Mi’s cheeks flared red.

“No” Ji Mi denied

“Liar! You admitted that Kyungsoo is hot yesterday!” Hyun Jin accused. The princess burst in laughter when Ji Mi covered her face in embarrassment.

“You guys are tempting me to take you with me tomorrow just to see you guys get all squirmy and shy” she joked. They shook their heads ferociously at her, she smirked.

The next day was spent getting ready for the dinner, she wore a beautiful blue dress with a white shawl, she loves this dress, she sighs in annoyance, ‘such a waste on something so...annoying.’

Her parents complimented her and told her how the night was going to go.

“So once we get there we’re going to have small talk first then once we move to dinner and after we eat, you and him will leave so we can talk about the proposal” the King listed off, while her mother added after him.

“Please be on your best behavior, and try to get along with him because if this ends well you’ll be courted by him for at least two months” her eyes narrowed at the thought but she tried to think positively and instead put a smile on her face. He might be nice.

she kept on repeating that in her head all the way to his front gates. This was her first time seeing their home and it was magnificent. The green was everywhere it reached the lowest ground to the tallest towers. The towers were a royal blue that was appealing to the eyes, it was her favorite color, hence her dress. She mentally groaned, great he’s gonna think she did this on purpose.

Funny, her heart was beating at a crazy speed. She tried to calm it down by taking slow breaths but it didn't help. They reached the front door and were greeted by the King and Queen themselves.They gave off an aura of power and knowledge, it was intimidating. They greeted her parents before turning to the young girl with twinkling kind eyes, they didn't seem that scary anymore.

“Oh my! you are so beautiful” the Queen complimented her causing her to shuffle her feet before forcing herself to stop because ‘princesses dont shuffle their feet when nervous’ her annoying Lady in Waiting’s voice rang in her head, she bowed in respect and thanked her.

“Thank you, your highness”

“Oh no, no formalities please! Were going ot be family just Mrs. Kim is fine.” she waved off her formal greeting.

“Yes i agree with my dear wife Mr. Kim is fine” the king added as i bowed respectively to him too. We made our way inside as the king quickly added, “i apologize for my son’s absence, he got caught up with a meeting concerning our positions in the battle, i am sure he’ll be here within a few moments.” i shook my head and smiled at his apology, at least i dont have to deal with him for now.

Like my father had prepared me, they had a small talk before we moved on to dinner, their son still not showing up. I honestly think this meeting might go faster if he never shows up because then i wont really have talk to him.

Unfortunately my prayers werent answered because midway in dinner the doors opened and came in a strutting tall figure that had an apologetic smile on his face. I Know its him because Hyun Jin shoved a picture in my face last night. My heart decided that beating at an abnormal speed is what it should do when we made eye contact, then tingles spread through my body. It seems that all conversation stopped when he stepped in the room, as we continued to make eye contact my parents cleared their throats, snapping my attention towards them. Noticing how the Prince’s parents were smiling with mirth swimming in their eyes. His eyes turning a quick red before disappearing as if it never happened, i elected to ignore it.

“I apologize sincerely for my absence, i had to deal with a few minor issues regarding the war” he stated with a sweet smile on his face that won my parents over, making them shake their heads in dismissal of his rude action. I mentally rolled my eyes, they probably think hes going to be a great husband. I was fooled except he hasnt done anything bad except be late so i cant really make him a villain, yet.

“Come, come! This is princess Yong Sang from the Song family” the Queen introduced us. I bowed while he took my hand, igniting tingles in my arm and kissed it lightly. My heart fluttered as i scowled at it in my head. I am supposed to not like him. What is this? Is he playing mind tricks on me? As he straightened up again he smiled a very attractive smile at me that made me shoot him a small one back. I swear what my cousins said last night is messing with my brain because now i am considering giving him a chance.

Dinner wasnt uneventual, unlike many others i have been through, he was seated right across from me and he kept on shooting me heart stopping smiles. My heart couldn't take it and i was very relieved when they announced dinner was over but the dread settled when i heard the Queen suggest for the Prince to show me around the castle while they talked. I was not surprised when he agreed and offered his arm for me to take. Making the same feeling tingle up my arm again. I swear i am not going to survive tonight if e keeps doing this to me. As the door shut closed behind us, he turned to me and asked,

“What would you like to see first?”

“What would you suggest?” i asked back curiously, i am going to try to push back all the negative and tingling thoughts and try to enjoy my time here, because at least my parents picked it a beautiful man for me to marry.

“In my opinion the weaponry and the library are the best.” he said after a long pause.

“I would like to see the weaponry then” i confirmed, causing his eyes to widen in shock. I guess i understood his surprise i was in a very restricting dress and i didn't appear to have that kind of likes. I nodded in confirmation when he raised an eyebrow.

“Please, lead the way” i said with a small smile. This boy doesnt even know what hes about to get into.

“Alright, my lady. Would you like to hear about war stories then?” he joked.

“Yes please that would be wonderful”i wanted to add ‘i am curious at what is your choice of weapon’ but i am going to ask later.

So as we walked, he told me stories of the wars he participated in, when we arrived, i was shaking my head laughing.

“Really? How did you think telling a warlord to “shut the fuck up” wouldn’t have consequences?”

” If it makes it any better, I meant it.” he refuted my remark. As we went in, i was already comfortable around. The thought scared me because i just met him, but it feels like ive known him for years. As we walked around i noticed that there was a part of the room he avoids. As i looked closer i understood why, it was silver, i remember that his kind cannot stand silver. It physically burns them.

“I wonder why the Pack’s weaponry has a section with silver laced weapons?” i said outloud pointedly looked at the Prince. He chuckled and turned around.

“Because sometimes even your own kind cant turn against you.”

“Well then how did you use them?” i questioned.

“When we needed those weapons we had a seer enchant them.” he explained vaguely.for now i am going accept this answer.

“So which weapon do you prefer best?” he asked, beating me in asking the question ive been itching to ask.

“I prefer small daggers” i answered, “what aboout you?”

“I am good with swords” i nodded. I have to admit he proved me wrong, i thought he was going to be unpleasant.

“Library next?” i asked. He neared me and nodded his head before tilting his head in a cute puppy kinda way.

“I would like to show you something. But you have to hold onto me” he proposed. I was curious so i gave him an okay sign and held onto his arm. He wrapped his hand on mine and smiled at me mischievously before the world was whirling around me and landed in the ground.

My head was spinning still not understanding what he just did before my eyes sharply looked into his.

“You teleport” he shook his head with a grin on his face. I was still not stable and i was swayed a little too far before he caught me.

“Are you alright?” he questioned, the mirth quickly disappearing from his eyes and worry replacing it.

“I am alright, just still dizzy from that” i gave him a small smile in reassurance. After i steadied myself we made our way inside the awaiting open doors of the huge library. I looked at the books around and quickly turned.

“Ou do know that my parents are here so we could get married, right?”, i totally forgot that werewolves have mates until i remembered when i looked at one of the book’s title.

“Yes i did, originally i had a problem with it” he paused before looking at my eyes deeply, making my stomach churn. “But then i saw how beautiful you are” he added with a slight smirk.

“Oh my god stop, this is serious what about your mate?” i rolled my eyes smiling before turning serious.

“I dont think she’ll mind.” he shrugged. My head didn't comprehend what he just said.

03: Does she regret anything?jasmine believes in learning from her mistakes rather than regretting anything so she tries to feel that way about things that sometimes go wrong rather than waste her time on regret.

04: Is she insecure?she thinks everyone has a few insecurities some more than others even if some wouldn’t ever admit that so, yes. she has insecurities. for example she likes her body but sometimes she gets a little insecure about it, feeling like her boobs for example are not big enough.

06: How does she want to die?this is something she definitely hates thinking about a lot. if she has to though, she’d prefer to peacefully fall asleep when she’s really old and not really suffer and go through pain.

there are mostly civilians in the camp people and kids that wouldnt be able to defend themselves well so V gets put there with a handful people to keep an eye out for them and

the camp gets in trouble with some other grp that take their supplies away before they can pick them up

so these people seem to have their base close to that camp and V being V wants to investigate and see if these guys are just talking big or if they really can take the camp out like they say if the camp doesnt pay to get THEIR OWN STUFF back sneaking her way to those people its not only clear that these guys are full of shit- but they also have beef with each other in their own little gangster grp

she witnesses how they basically ruin themselves drinking, fighting and taking their compadres out so problem solved itself u may think as V suprise hits the last guy standing who is just happy he has a lot of shit to live off of

so while she checks how much of the supplies these greasy guys had their hands on already she gets surprised by a RANDOM LOL patrol of aliens (what kawa u drunk go home)

seems those guys had their stuff a little too close to a checkpoint and the noise they made when they killed each other resulted in alien troops coming to check what the shit is going on

So far, V’s day is a rollercoaster of ups and downs she gets wounded on her leg but manages to take out 2 out of 3 aliens

hunter shows up and oh boi does she like him but also she does not trust him bc the last time he just dissappeared after she helped him and he helped her and now she thinks that he might just go ahead and kill her rollercoaster down so to speak he shoots the last alien saying something along the lines of ‘this one I am taking care of myself~’ meaning her, obv and she thinks its her last seconds lol so while she scrambles backwards and he casually walks towards her ANOTHER PERSON SHOWS UP

so in case u cant already tell from my rambling: ASSASSIN shows up- turns out hunter has ignored the elders call and she came to check up on her annoying brother lol he reacts quickly, making sure she doesnt notice V V IS HELLA CONFUSED BUT WHY NOT while they 'talk things out’ (rather get onto each others throat pretty much immediately) she takes her leave slowly and bleeding bc of that darn wound on her leg she tries to stop the bleeding and cover her tracks

not trusting her own ability and fearing that she might get followed anyways once her absence at the scene is noticed she avoids going straight to the camp doing all the indiana jones things she even wades thru a friggin river ….that rollercoaster keeps spiraling down eh?

tired, scared, bleeding and now also soaking wet and without her jacket bc thats what she used to get rid of the blood that might drip from her leg, pants,shoes whatevs and the supplies still are theoretically lost meh so she ends up exhausted somewhere in the woods like at this point V doesnt even care? she’s gonna do something …right after she rested her eyes for a minute mind u u.u bad idea

no amount of wading thru water and trying not to bleed everywhere helped and who shows up with the most satisfied shit eating grin under the sun? aye u might have guessed it hunter wastes no time telling her all the things she did wrong while funnily enough he also without explanation or anything he just inspects her wound and does some funny psi stuff this rollercoaster is confusing V is angry, she is pissed at herself and him of course- scolding her and gloating abt how she messed up but she is also confused af werent they done with helping? shoudltn he be just …skinning her alive or some shit since thats what they say he did to some people or maybe roast her

on a kebab stick but there he is

numbing the pain in her leg somehow and deciding that she needs to get somewhere else if she had more energy she might have tried to resist

but as things are nothing stops him when he picks her up (not elegantly in the least i might mention) and starts off to who knows where

so however much time passes V has no idea but it feels like not more than 5 minutes have gone by….then again…who knows…she might have fallen unconscious somewhere along the way

she gets plopped down and its soft wherever this is it looks better than anything she knows

she is so dumbfounded by her surroundings she doesnt even talk back at first when he tells her to get out of the wet clothes

she’s in the middle of stripping down all the while still oggling the room with the sleek surfaces and the outrageously comfy looking bed…how dare they…whoever owns this place should get beaten with a stick

so before her undies fall she snaps out of her thoughts and wants to yell at him Buuuut he is nowhere to be sen seen* ok so off with the undies

V wraps herself in a blanket and (WHY IS IT SO SOFT HOW DARE THEY)

V is still taking in the room wrapped in that blanket, her clothes sprawled over a now-not-pristine-white-anymore chair this room looks pretty but empty like someone had planned to live here

its pretty and empty and although the matress she sits on is insultingly cozy and the blanket a dream come true….its still cold and V has to make a concious effort to stop her teeth from chattering where the fuck did 'he’ go tho for a moment V imagines complete strangers entering the room to see a freezing V sitting on their bed and wrapped in their blanket

thats funny almost the whole situation is ridiculous

V is ready to walk back to that chair and wring herself into those wet clothes again

leaving this place and probably dying of hypothermia outside sounds just as bad as sitting here and waiting for kingdom come this is way too similar to the last time she was stranded with this guy speaking of which maybe he already left

with her bare feet she slowly tip taps thru the room, checking windows and closets and making her way to the only door in sight the second her fingers make contact with the handle the door opens

'gotcha. nessing with the doors again.’ messing* (lol jk) no lights for now he says but the place will warm up eventually theres electricity

he somewhat inores her °_° face and walks past her and she cringes when she realizes he goes straight to her stuff V almost trips over herself to make sure he cant get a hold of anything what are you doing making sure these will dry- or would you rather have them stay wet I dont mind you like this [insert rude smile here] so the clothes get taken care of

its still cold V is still confused by his charitable behaviour wtf is he thinking wtf is SHE thinking she completely forgot abt the whole 'he is gonna kill me’ story so, with newly found waryness she starts asking questions why help me why follow me why not kill me

whose place is this we gotta remember last time they met was when she helped him and he taunted her

and she bluntly spat out that she doesnt know why she does it but whats so wrong with that- maybe she just cant help it- maybe its not her fault she likes this guy so he pulls up a chair in front of her, sits down on it, his arms on the back of it whats so wrong with that i cant help it- its your fault

nothing else he grins he is fucking crazy and V isnt so sure but it almost felt like he could have said he liked her she huffs

My wife and I are in our 40's and 50's. We have created A/B trusts and transferred our assets to them, and expect to have estates that will benefit from the estate tax saving these trusts afford. We recently both purchased $1M 10-year renewable term life insurance policies that we expect to keep for 10 years. We chose not to use life insurance trusts because the purpose of the policies is to replace the lost income of the deceased spouse if one of us dies relatively soon, not to increase our final estate, and the trusts are somewhat costly. today is the fifth anniversary of my miscarriage. my middle school math teacher’s daughter just had a baby today. i dont feel anything. i never truly did unless someone else does. the day it happened i didnt express myself at all and i can’t remember what i was thinking exactly, i can just remember how much pain that was. it was nothing compared to full term labor, but at that time it was the most physical pain i had ever experienced in my life. the top three most insufferable physical pains i have experienced are labor, a miscarriage, and a disease i have i dont talk about because its not that big of a deal but when it happens it’s completely miserable. the worst emotional pain ive ever felt is hard to pin point because ive never really had a terrible thing happen in my life that affected me so bad emotionally. i guess the worst is having poor self image, which is an eh on the emotional pain scale compared to losing a baby to most people. my mom thinks im more sensitive about my miscarriage than i am. im more sensitive to her emotions. anyways im watching a new show i dont like so far and i hate how poorly they portray people. its just not believable. people dont talk to each other in code or fast and witty jokes all the time. people talk over each other and dont know what to say and dont say everything theyre thinking. i dont always have the right words or perfect story or best possible response. yesterday we were out with tanner’s grandparents and his grandma recently lost her mother. she said that losing her mom is a completely different pain than losing anyone else you love. and i awkwardly smiled nicely and watched her eyes swell with tears and didnt know what to say. i didnt want to say im sorry or that i understand or anything i obviously dont really mean. so i didnt say anything. i dont think im a very relatable person so i really dont know what to say. ive been trying really hard lately to be a patient and active listener and it’s paying off. it has it’s downsides but the best part is the more i listen the less i have to share. people love to talk about things and i have always been envious of people who cared about what other people had to say. people who listen and make eye contact and nod their heads and remember what people tell them. i always thought i was the type of person who didnt feel like i have to give up a part of me to be there for other people and it’s not like that. im not giving a single thing up from myself when i hear what other people have to say. not even my time. my time is relatively less important than having a conversation about anything with anyone. anyways i have one empty notebook on my bookshelf and i hate writing in real life for lots of reasons. the biggest one being anything you write is permanent, even if it was with pencil or whatever. you can burn the sheet of paper you wrote something regrettable down on and it doesn’t take away from the fact that you had to write something down and it was so bad you had to destroy it. ive written about a couple of my insecurities on this blog before and i realized how much they mean to me after i made them real by writing about them and posting it. it made them worse maybe. it doesnt help me to talk about things to myself. although i dont write to help myself, i write because i love to type and sheer boredom. nothing on this entire blog but the insecurities ive written about really explore myself. for my one empty notebook, ive been considering writing a couple major things down in it. and just keeping it on the bookshelf. i have had blatant secrets spelled out easy for anyone to see folded up in notes to my friends scattered on my bedroom floor and no one has ever had the mind to pick them up and read them. i could write about my greatest fears in that notebook and seal them away anticlimactically by shutting the book and putting it back where i had it. it’s the same meaningless notebook, same meaningless spot on my shelf, same meaningless arrangement with all the other same meaningless things i keep near it, just with fears and secrets and shadows and bottled up thoughts inside. i can take away from the realness of written out negative thoughts by storing them next to tanner’s unused bible and my high school graduation cd. but i probably wont do that. my next writing project is a google doc called in the case that i die. tanner gave me one condition about my dating life if he dies. and it made me wonder if i had any conditions for if i die. if i have any certain ways i want things to be after my death if it should happen so soon. i dont think i do but i cant know unless i start writing it haha. of all the things i fear, i dont necessarily fear death. ive come to terms with the end of my life. speaking of fear and death, i really miss roller coasters right now for some reason lmao. when i was little i would ride anything my height limit. if it went upside down, sideways, stopped midair, turned the lights off unexpectedly, or jerked you around i was not afraid. im still not, and i think im more of a thrill seeker than i thought i was. i dont say no to anything that feels dangerous but isn’t, like roller coasters. there is the inherent danger of them breaking, but if i die on a roller coaster i die happy. if i get severely injured on one i might think differently but that hasnt happened so im not going to worry about it. anyways. a question a lot of people have been asking me is what im going to do for my honey moon, and tanners parents are offering to gift us a cruise vacation after we get married, but tanner and i were talking about going next year when we have money again haha. i want to really enjoy it and whatever they say about money not bringing true happiness is stupid. having fun and having money overlap. and having fun and having other people’s money is the same thing ha. also, we have loosely planned a pregnancy... idk we havent talked it out details wise, but i want to have another baby before i never have another baby. my grandma had 5 babies like, 10 or 15 years apart i cant remember. and thats amazing and i low-key want that but also really dont. i think ill have one more baby, then start donating my eggs if im eligible. my mom hates that idea which makes me want to do it more. im a fertile but fragile human and i want to share my fertility with people by donating my pretty, smart lil eggs to people who will love them. women are born with all the eggs they ever will have in their entire life, but not all women have viable eggs and not all couples have uteruses at all. i want to extend the fruits of my womb to humanity. anyways im gonna go
