Fun fact, their branch was the first of the main family I brought over to ts4 from ts3. Roxie is Francis and Cherry's daughter for those who have followed me since that ridiculous bachelor challenge.

It’s funny hearing the Yonan (or any other non-Yonan character with a southern accent—ex: Kremy) characters talk, because one part of my brain is like “I do NOT talk like that”

And then I become acutely aware of how I talk when I’m not really worried about articulating my words, and then I realize “oh shit, I DO talk like that”

#even down to the thickness of the accents #I’ve mentioned this before but I feel my accent is about as light as Kremy’s when I’m focusing on articulating my thoughts verbally #(as in. there’s obviously an accent there. it’s just not quite as strong)#I mean that’s also partially because I grew up in the city but yknow #but also when I’m tired or talking to my brothers #my accent becomes a bit thicker (kinda like Queenie’s I feel)#now my more redneck or country bumpkin family members have real thick accents #similar to Gideons or shepherds depending on if they’re red neck or from the country #legends of avantris #side note but I appreciate every description of yona being consistent yet diverse #same with the accents from the Yonan characters. consistent but different depending on their respective regions #especially since I’m 90% sure yona is supposed to be loa’s version of Texas #(and if I wasn’t sure beforehand i certainly became sure when I learned that shepherd the fucking cowboy was from yona)#from the deserts being described/pictured for Shep and Gid #to the lush farmland being described/pictured for Jericho and Queenie #no I did not forget about Jericho being a Yonan character until just now. shut up. you have no proof.#kremy lecroux #gideon coal #queenie march #jericho sticks #silas shepherd morgan

I think Jericho isn't very popular so you might not be that interested in this chart but I always liked Jericho (despite only knowing him from the Teen Titans show and not the comics) and I find his power (possessing other people) quite interesting.

He was involved romantically with Raven as well as Kole at some point but later comes out as gay... in fact I really thought that the ship JW/Kyd Wykkyd would be more popular... but then again... that's hard to write with both of them being mute or not speaking.

JW/David Isherwood is canon too btw.

Names are so vital. So important and held to who a person is and gods Claude who has known Jericho through being far closer to Simon than himself now; through Jericho and the taking of his FACE through having to take in the mind of bloody fucking Martin. If names bring power, what sort of humanity does it draw out of a person when they’ve seen you try on a good couple. Maybe I’m just in my own head about this but truly, there are versions and layers of learning and change to the Jericho we know now, and after a certain point? If we move past his childhood? Claude has been there for nearly all of them besides the tubs. When he lost Kassie there was someone else and this one hasn’t LEFT through his learning and hasn’t died through him stumbling into the world and overall at his side. He has truly been one of the people closest to him. One of the closest you could get, at the very least, when you wear the face of a tormentor and feel your gut twisted by their own memories of their hatred of you or how you her them, and you can’t remember a world without that hurt. I’m never going to heal from these two I swear it.

(also the taking of Martin’s face is destructive to my mental health rip someone please save me it ruins me every time I remember it, n WONDER he had brother issues dude)

#city of blank #like seriously tho imagine being Claude and watching this man you died for break down #as he has to relive memories of his own torment THROUGH THE ASSAILANTS LENS. Like wtf dude I’d lose it #Claude is sat there at his side. Likely still helping coax him into showers as he’s growing skin.#Likely helping him find ways to stay clean and get up in the morning. Claude knows how to clean up without the energy for a shower #we’ve all been sad like that before. He gets that. He knows that. And fuck I hate how his apathy likely trained him for this #for helping someone take little steps into a world that has never welcomed him and actively hurt him #to teach him humanity and whatever he would let himself be taught. To grow into himself and not just into Martin’s skin.#AND THEN he watched him heal from being blown up and was there in the jungle shit and likely as Jericho’s red blank space came in like that #like. He has seen SO MANY VERSIONS of this man and stuck around for each one #i fucking love him. Symbol of bloody loyalty. Through thick and fucking thin. He has supported Jericho since the dawn of his second life #and he’ll continue to do so in as much time as the world will give him. No matter if it costs him an arm and a leg #or his family. Or normalcy. Because he doesn’t want normal he wants jericho. Standing in the yard— Standing in Titans Tower

Dressed like a kid— Holding on to the team and each other and being heroes even after everything

The house is white— the tower is the same and so is everything inside, like it’s frozen in time

And the lawn is dead— THEY’RE not the same, and the never will be again, the pain’s changed them and twisted them into people that would’ve been unrecognizable to the people that saw that tower as home. No matter how long they try to hold onto each other, they know they can never go back to when this tower was happiness and peace and not just the graveyard of ghosts of all the people now gone, including themselves
