Fellow Gravity Falls fans, it is with great excitement that I reveal, the script to Not What He Seems!!

In 2015, a guy named Mason McGrew won a contest Alex Hirsch was hosting by making this awesome stop motion video of the theme song with the VinylMation toys!

His prize was the entire script to Gravity Falls' biggest episode!

I reached out to him last week and he graciously scanned every page and gave me permission to release it for you all to read.

There are some differences in it to the actual episode. Some funny and some...I'm gonna go cry now ;-;

i'm suddenly thinking about rockstar!eddie shooting a music video on some naval ship and meeting actual sailor!steve who's all dressed up in his whites 'cause eddie's a big name star and the captain said everyone had to look their best and eddie immediately folding for the pretty guy in uniform

just: eddie wanting a couple of the guys to act in the video 'cause hopefully then they'd actually know what they're doing, and asking the capt to point out his most competent sailor. the capt immediately points out one of his low-ranking ensigns (like, brand new baby officer 'cause that's the kinda shit an officer would pull) and eddie, having been raised by wayne (who i'm hc-ing as a navy vet) knows better and is immediately like "No sir, I said your most competent, not your least. someone point me to THE second class. Where's he? I need an enlisted guy." and a higher-ranking chief that's been following the band around the ship all day bellows out a laugh and says "You're gonna want Harrington, Mr. Munson."

idk idk, it's niche but for some reason my mind went into the cold clammy depths of my time in the navy this morning and i was like 'NOPE! don't wanna dwell here, make it fun! make it about the blorbos so you dont get sad!!' lmao

The girl in question is Jeff’s college sweetheart, Lia. They still follow each other on instagram as does Jeff’s other ex-girlfriend Sophie. The fact they are all still on good terms speaks volumes about Jeff’s character and just one of the many reasons to adore the man.

I really don't know which type of evil I wanted him to be , the "calls u a dumbass kind of evil" or straight up toxic kind of evil. I chose the calls u a dumbass kind of evil since toxic relationships are not my thing. PLUS THIS IS MY OWN VER OF JEFF WHO IS MUCH MORE DIFFERENT THAN OG JEFF. Both personality wise and backstorywise

jeff always jokingly "bullied" you in a nice way ever since u two got together, calling u a dumbass sarcastically , you didn't mind it since you knew obviously he was joking, and u started to bully him too jokingly just like him , calling him a stupid bimbo, he turned around and looked dead into ur eyes , " what the- why did u just call me that" he sounded serious, "I called u a stupid bimbo because that's what u are actually" you flashed him a mischievous grin , ever since u started to do shit like that u guys always competed who had the best insults ,you always somehow won, making jeff pressed af since his own gf is bullying him,it was cute seeing him get soo mad over just a small thing, "ughhhh" "why do u always have to win everytime?!" He pouts, "I don't know,maybe come up with better insults that don't sound like a 3rd grader's so called insults next time?" You teased , "come on! Don't do me dirty like that!" He whined , obviously feeling defeated and vulnerable, you stared to his icy blue eyes , shimmering like the hidden stars in dark,onyx sky in the dead of the night,(poet who? I only know amourluvie /j) "babe it's not that big of a deal" , you reassured him, planting a kiss to his forehead, he didn't liked being vulnerable , but still blushed over the kiss,laying his head on ur lap, "I hate you." He said while being embarrassed, "I love you too!". You said , softly smiling at him.
