Alright a little lore about me but I have to write it in 2010s terms to make it understandable.

I am an emo + bangya + nerd weirdkid. I am also someone who does a sport. Anyways, recently I got into a group of other people who do this sport and they're (majority) preppy normies.

As is the case, it is halloween (epic af) and I am going to be attending the coolest halloween party at my university, now, the group theme is 'Werewolves vs Vampires' where the elder memebers are vampires and the noobs are werewolves... I am a noob, and despite it being obvious that the elders wanted to stand out as the 'more easily sexy' option, I LOVE the idea of dressing up as a werewolf because I am an emo + bangya + nerd weirdkid who has always been known as 'the wolf dude' and also has wolf in my name (yes legit and yes by choice) anYWAYS, I ordered everything for the costume I wanted to put together and now that the party is getting closer other people started asking stuff like "HOW TF DO YOU DRESS UP AS A SEXY WEREWOLF?" etc, and others started sending pictures for inspiration and let me just say:

My interpertation of a werewolf costume is completely fucking different to the consensus of the group.

I am learning so much about the world recently, isn't that great?

Today has been very eventful you guys. I sadly did not take any pics tho. But I took Autumn out with me (along with my datemate of course) to a tourist town, which is a 30min drive from where I live, that's famous for having witch stuff and huge for celebrating Halloween. While there we found so many amazing plushies, including some super cute and unusual animals from the brand Miyoni by Aurora, the largest selection of Palm Pals I've ever seen in one place, and a nicknack store half of which I can only describe as Jellycat Valhalla. Yes I came home with some new friends. I adopted a very fluffy rooster, 2 precious red pandas, an axolotl, and a jellycat little dexter dragon

Summary: Halloween is Y/N's favourite holiday, but this year, she doesn't want to spend it like she normally does.

This Halloween Y/N didn’t feel like going to any parties, so instead, she opted to get free candy from the people in Rafe’s neighbourhood. He watches as she puts her hair into two buns in her Winnie the Pooh onesie. The Tigger onesie is getting a little too hot while he waits for her. “Are you almost done, Angel?” he asks, looking at her through the mirror. She nods her head, “Yep, I’m ready to go.” He picks up the honey pot-shaped Halloween buckets for them and takes her hand into his other hand. They head out the door toward the house next door. Little kids litter the street dressed in various costumes. Once they get to the first house, they are the tallest ones out of the bunch. “Trick or Treat,” they chant with the rest of the kids. 

They let the children go before them and at the front, the owner of the house pauses to get a good look at them. “Well, aren’t you two just so cute,” the older lady gushes, going to squeeze Rafe’s cheeks. She gives them their candy and they mutter their thank yous. The next house is another frat house. When they see Rafe’s costume, they attempt to laugh but the threatening look on his face stops them. He knows their laughter would make Y/N feel bad. “Trick or Treat,” she says, holding out her bucket. Ryan grabs mini bottles of fireball, “Since you guys are grownups, we have some adult juice for you guys.” Rafe does a small cheer as he watches the bottles drop into his bucket. The pair thanks Ryan and Rafe is about to pull Y/N to leave when she steps closer to the other frat boy. “Ry, can you take a pic of us, please?” she asks holding out her phone for him. He nods his head and takes her phone. Rafe wraps his arm around her waist, pulling her in closer to him. Other boys may be embarrassed by memorializing this moment, but Rafe could not care less who sees him in this outfit if it makes Y/N happy. His grin matches hers and gives her a kiss on the cheek once Ryan hands her back her phone.

The night is coming to an end and they are at the house at the end of the street. There is a bowl on a table in front of a door with a please take one note leaning against it. A group of teenage boys and a little girl are walking in front of them. They catch up with the girl dressed as Darth Vader, standing behind her to wait for the teens to be done. The older boys snicker at the sign, taking the bowl and dumping all of its contents in their bags. Y/N watches as Darth Vader’s face turns sad at the realization that the force isn’t going to bring candy into the helmet-shaped basket. Y/N feels bad for the little girl and she approaches her. “Here. Take my boyfriend’s and my candy,” she offers, motioning for the girl to hold out her basket. 

Y/N tips her honey jar over so all her candy flows into Darth Vader’s head. Rafe isn’t one to object to his girlfriends and walks over to do the same. Darth Vader smiles massively, wrapping her arms around Y/N’s waist as a thank you. The little girl runs back to her mom and Rafe steps closer to his Angel. “That was really sweet of you,” he tells her, pressing his forehead against hers. She shrugs her shoulders, “It was nothing. I can buy myself a treat anyway.” His hands bring her in by the waist. “You won’t need to buy any candy. Let me be your treat, Angel,” he offers, pulling her into a passionate kiss.

semi-unrelated: in 3 days I finally have an appointment with the very expensive celeb hair stylist who cut my hair 2 years ago. kinda wanna switch it up cause a) well I'm paying that much why not, b) idk I get sick of looking in the mirror / feel like my appearance can be very plain, my hair is very pretty on a good day but most days it's drab and sad and doesn't stand out / total appearance dysmorphia etc etc etc you know the usual.

The ending montage with Eddie being alone looking at his pic from Halloween with Chris... no, I'm really, I'm okay.

The BuckandEddie of it all:

It's interesting that they kept pairing Eddie up with other members of the team during calls but Eddie was all over Buck still. Like... they are partners, and they continue to be like at the pumpkin call (LUBE? PLEASE, I AM BEGGING), but Eddie was with Buck at the hospital (both for Buck and Denny) and at Buck's loft and at the station too.

Buck and Eddie are always entangled in each other's business but this season's been like a whole other level. The framing, the dialogue, everything about them is pointed as fuck and it's no coincidence (the lube, I can't get over it!!!), of that I'm sure.

This episode, which had a lot of Buck and T, had a ton of Eddie in between them which allowed us to see their dynamic and it was a sight. We had Eddie in the hospital room, by Buck's bedside, asking the doctor questions, while T was on the other side of the door, observing. Eddie was there to tend to Buck's boils and reassure him it'd be fine and even bet and shake on it to try and keep Buck from spiraling while T was just... there. Eddie was apparently distracted on his phone, sucking on a freaking ring lollipop (looking at Buck like that!!!!!) but he was actually well in tune with Buck and what he was doing and Buck protested his boyfriend's claims that he had been picking on his boils but he didn't argue with Eddie about it at all.

So yeah, Buck has a boyfriend that could fit right in, being a firefighter and getting more into the 118's business and sharing time with Buck and his BFF in the whole wide world. This episode showed in part how T didn't fit exactly right (why were they not sleeping on the bed, I'm so confused...), how Buck realized that and sent him a message that he wanted him to. And I think they will make it past the next episode, actually, because I have a feeling that if tptb are going where we all think/want them to go with Eddie, they might want to establish that on its own.

And they would also want to do what Oliver said and take it slow on the Buddie front, and I know it's been slow enough, but Oliver and Ryan have alluded to wanting the story to develop naturally and to not have them be bi/gay and into each other because of the message that could send. I have a feeling that means reaching Buddie after both have time to go through self-realizations away from each other and having Buck be in a relationship actually serves that scenario better. At least for a little while, then they can let the pining begin.

Some other things:

The thing about this show that I both adore and dislike is that I know every main is gonna be okay (there was only ever one exception to this) and they're not going to kill one of their children either. So I simply couldn't get into the mindset of feeling sad over Denny dying because I knew he wasn't going to.

I love that we got more HenRen and I wish next time Karen and Eddie share a scene, it'll be a less tragic one. I love Denny so much, the actor is so good and such a cutie, I'm glad he got to shine. It's also funny that once you get old enough in the show, you're fair game to be in harm's way. Rite of passage.

Chim was so scary and cute and great as well. I just think Kenny's so good at everything and the show sometimes failed to properly take advantage of his skills so I'm glad they're finally getting to showcase his range fully and all at once.

Peter was also having the time of his life being a carefree version of Bobby, and I'm here for it.

Josh's whole costume being Eddie's mustache. Plus Buck also having one. Ryan, the man that you are.

Maddie, once again, going for the kitty ears.

They really are having an "Eddie Begins" type of emergency on an episode called "Confessions" which will focus on Eddie. I'm sure it's gonna be just fine. I'm sure nothing major will happen with my favorite character in the world, Eddie Díaz. I'm sure.

hiii take some seasonal five. i feel like he dresses like a quirky teacher after a while. like if ms frizzle was a grumpy old man discovering himself. more muted colors and dress shirts but cant deny a good sweater or vest (or sweater vest) and before people go "well he didn't wear a ugly sweater in that Christmas pic, why would he dress this way- its to HIS taste. and years later. he found all those sweaters horrid. but if he picks it, 100% different and its stylish and he does not take criticism.

i feel like he's the uncle to annoy the most on holidays. come to his place with little warning for trick or treating then get him in on candy trading after they nag him to make cookies. he would be so monotone but goofy.

the chibi is him as a kid. i don't think they were allowed to do Halloween but grace made them costumes anyway. i feel like baby five was a brat who refused to tell her what he wanted ever bc complicated feelings towards dad and her....she guessed what he wanted correctly (he wasn't hiding it well.) and she made him a cute vampire costume. he couldn't contain his joy well. fuck. she was being a mom. but dad's stupid mind games.... he would proceed to jump on his bed and run/blink around his room like a dweeb then chase everyone around and try to bite them. no 8 year old can deny the joy of the perfect costume.

Mahito With a Pet Cat

• He’s constantly teasing the poor thing, but definitely a good play mate for when the kitty gets bored.

• He shape shifts into a cat sometimes just to hang out on their level OR so he can get cuddles from people 🥰

• He loves them dearly so he won’t experiment with them 😋

• He likes the really big and long ones, like maine coons or above-average ragdolls. They’re fluffy 😍😍

• I feel like he would over feed it a lot and would have to constantly be reminded that they shouldn’t eat that much 😓😓 if the cat got deathly overweight though, he would ask for help to help it lose weight (he doesn’t want it to die ☹️☹️)

• He trained the cat to sleep with him in bed rather than in the actual cat bed. He just constantly wants its attention 😭😭

• He takes many silly and cute pics of the kitties (I also kind of headcanon that he would have like a cute little Polaroid or digital camera instead of any kind of phone)

• He would find a crap ton of little costumes and pajamas for the kitty, ESPECIALLY Halloween ones

HAPPY HALLOWEEEN!!! 👻🎃 (yes ik its not actually Halloween but its for Halloween). Sun and Moon dressed up as Princess Celestia and Princess Luna!! Those two would no doubt love mlp. Moon would also be a big hello kitty fan, like he appears all dark and broody to like all the parents, but the kids and Sun all know he’s a softie.

Also big tidbit, I have a couple different versions for my Sun and Moon. Theres these versions and then my story versions. These two I do not see as siblings, they are more like best friends/coworkers (or lovers idc, again I’m no hater). But my story version of them (our normal life) are siblings. I just wanted to make this clear, cause I really dont mind any version of them, but I do have set universes of them.

I kinda rushed through this to be honest.

Oh and the second pic is my version of DJ. I 1000% think his glamrock body would look like a spider. Like his design would be based on a jumping spider cause they are genuinely so cute, with their big ole eyes. I also like to think that he has glasses he put on top of his eyes cause sometimes the younger kids get a little scared. Oh and he has mainly four arms, but he has an extra pair he can call out whenever! He definitely can climb the walls. Oh between his arms, like apart of his outfit would have tiny little webs. To be honest I don’t think DJ would talk. maybe selective mute? I was actually thinking he would be like boombox from gumball, where he has a switch but it’s turned off from talking, so instead he makes like boombox noises. Idk that idea may change a bit, but I like where it’s going. Btw his height is still around the same like maybe 8ft?? I know Sun and Moon would be 7ft, and I want DJ to be the tallest so yeah 8ft seems right.

any plans for Halloween ? I’m either going to dance or celebrate with my family. I can’t decide but the choices make me feel bitter sweet. it’s a great dance opportunity but I appreciate going trick or treating with my siblings because they’re growing up. one day they’ll be over it. :’) enjoying where we are. in the previous messages, you said “your hair is not ugly. it’s the way you perceive it” that makes sense. There are rare times when I love my hair in certain mirrors but every time I tried to take a selfie or saw it in a different mirror, it looked hideous (today it happened). with my looks as well, sometimes I look pretty. sometimes I don’t. I just saw a picture of me from last month and was surprised that I looked pretty? but then I saw myself in the mirror today and I immediately panicked. someone called me pretty today & I didn’t know how to feel. a part of me started to fight with myself “am I pretty or not? what are they seeing?” yesterday, someone called me cute & the only thing that went through my head is “that’s odd. what are they talking about?” I don’t know what they are seeing.

I was trying to figure out why it keeps happening everyday. why in the hell do I look different every day? what is going on with my perception? any tips on how to navigate through this? I used to think my features were a problem, but I don’t think so. I used to think it was my weight because I gained a few visible pounds. I don’t think my looks should depend on weight though……well, I think. my mom took pictures of me this weekend. the weight didn’t bother me. my stomach was even showing. it’s just some pics were cute, some looked terrible like another person (even in regular angles 😭). like wtf is going on? what do I really look like? 😔

i've been well thanks~ actually, i've been really focused on organizing myself in a way that feels good and productive daily. i started working from home and actually, it was hard for a while to really be disciplined with myself hahahah but now i've got a swing of things and its really nice. ive been exploring new places, making new friends, and just trying my best to enjoy my time :') thanks for asking <3

i hope you can do both too! that would be such a darling halloween!🎃 hehe actually for the holiday, i'll be doing my usual tradition. eating pizza and sweets, passing out candy, and watching some of my favorite halloween movies <3 (specifically, halloween (1978) and hocus pocus~) for me these are the true halloween classics i've always watched with my family for many years!! up until then i'll be marathoning halloween dcoms. my partner has never seen any before, so i'm really excited to share that part of my childhood with them~

i think that really unstable perception of yourself is extremely normal!! it really goes back to have an unstable inner self as well. of course, some days you can look entirely different. honestly, you can even look different in the same day!! when we arent very stable in ourselves, our looks can shift and change constantly. ive truly experienced this myself, and its super trippy. more than anything, just keep practicing deciding how you want to feel about yourself, despite anything else!!

alright so heres ABOUT what ive got. heres the image from the fight stick promo stuff that has a majority of the smaller quality ones. the issue is i have sources from so many desperate areas of the web its a bit hard to compile them all but heres my best attempt

this is where i first saw there was a full set of these things and got kinda obsessed. heres where to buy the few that are still in stock btw.

from there they did a lot of charms and pins with these designs, so its kinda easy to find them with this style of background out there. a few ive only seen in decent quality from this kind of thing. not like. amazing but a way better look at a few of em than the buttons.

from this website i managed to extract these images of a couple of them. which are really cute but so funny. the sol and ky are similarly cropped so i wont bother posting them. just silly to include. this site also has some other cool merch its neat to poke through. (particularly it has some images of the halloween merch which is SO cute)

This is a long one!! And It's in the middle of the week cause I was waiting for yesterday, cause I got a little yarn haul, and then I was super excited and cast on with some of the yarn lmao.

I'm talking a lot about knitting plans today too, along with some of my w.i.p.s.

Firstly, my halloween/skulls cardigan is on hold for the moment, just cause I don't have enough yarn to finish it. I am almost done with side one, and I have used two and a half skeins, and I only have two left, and I'm on row 27? I think, of 31. I think. So I'm gonna get another skein this week when we go grocery shopping, and hope that it will be enough lol.

the first pics of the post, lol. You may be going 'Fox, didn't you just finish this hat?' the answer is yes! But while i was making it, my mom fell in love with it, and so I cast on another one immediately after. I am probably gonna finish this up today, but I decided to include pics, cause I'm keeping it in this really cute halloween bag my aunt gave me.

I am not mad about making another of these hats, I love the pattern (its the Ryegate Hat), and this yarn. I am so in love with this yarn, it's the Light Weight Essential Cotton Yarn by K+C. I love it so much in fact that I think I have more knitting plans with it. In this color too, cause it will be perfect for the project I have in mind.*

next we have part of the yarn haul, lmao. I was too excited when I got new sock yarn and immediately cast on a new pair of socks. I am making A Little Hocus Pocus socks, and I am making them with Paton's Kroy Socks Yarn in the color Midnight Orchid. It reminds me a lot of the genderqueer flag, but that wasn't the reason I got the yarn lol. I honestly just saw it an fell in love with the colors, and it didn't hit me that it matches my flag until I cast it on. I just thought it looked very magical.

the second part of my yarn haul are these beautiful skeins of Fishermen's Wool from Lion's Brand, in the color oatmeal. This is also kicking off my knitting plans for the future part of the post this week. This yarn is going to be used for a Gaia Shawl, which will be my Birthday Shawl for this year. Last year I started a tradition of casting on a shawl on my birthday, I made a Campfire Cozy shawl, and I knit on it during November and December and then I lived in it in January and February. I'm very excited to have a new shawl in the family tbh, even though I mostly wear them around the house. I don't know if this one will take me as long, and the Campfire Cozy has SO many textures, and the 'lace' portion was so complicated I started it over at least twice. I was also watching The Musketeers while knitting that lol, so that didn't help my concentration.

But because I can't cast that on until the 26th, I'm going to be picking back up my pass the honey cardigan, its been off to the side for a couple months now. I think I was just frustrated with it tbh. I like it a lot, but it was going to be a gift, and now it's just...... Here. And while I do like it a lot, I also feel a bit guilty about it?? Cause I tried so hard to make something my sister will enjoy wearing, and I couldn't find it at all. Very sad about that. But I do want to finish it, and I also think I have an idea about something I could make her in the future. But yes, I do want to finish that cause I think it will be great to wear in January.

*And Lastly, going back to the Light Weight Essential Cotton Yarn by K+C, Next month, a sweater pattern from the.creabea (Rebecca) called the Stick Season sweater will be coming out. And I am head over heels in love with this sweater. So I am going to be knitting it in the same yarn as the hats I've been making (both cause I have some left over, and because I think it will be amazing in this yarn). She also just has some absolutely beautiful knitting patterns, and I want to knit her patterns that are coming out for advent season this year too. I think her other sweater pattern that just came out, the Alder Sweater, is absolutely beautiful, but I am very intimidated by it, lol. Maybe one day I'll give it a try.
