I love that Ryan picked Buck and Eddie bumping shoulders as the reason people ship Buddie because that moment is only ubiquitous throughout fan made content. Like, you don't see entertainment journalists waxing on and on about how cute it is when Buck and Eddie bump shoulders. The tsunami, the will, Christopher, the shooting - these are all things that get a lot of attention in articles and Ryan could have picked any of those as the driver for fans. But instead he picked this small detail that's almost impossible to know about unless you consume fanvids and gif sets and see how often it gets used.

He's definitely in our walls, guys.

I hope too that means as Eddie pulls away a rainbow appears and he halts the U-Haul and hands tight on steering wheel as all memories flood back and that’s his oh moment. Buck sees and runs up not even in Jeep but runs worried something happened to Eddie and Eddie gets out and they hug again and Eddie pulls away still close and they kiss almost hesitated worried it’ll ruin friendship but it doesn’t. and the camera pans out showing the rainbow next to them as they kiss !!! And Eddie tells him he will be back with Chris. When Chris is ready to come home yes home to LA they all live together as Buck gave his loft to Albert or Josh or Ravi. And that is how we see Buddie start and go on dates and eventually get married. Chris is the one walking down giving them their rings. Ugh we soooo close! Even when they become canon I’ll still read their fanfics and still love their fanart !! Pleasseee we soooo close!!!🥺🤞🥺
