hey is anyone fascinated by this like i’m fascinated by this

i know we talk about it a lot but it is truly so cool to me that five’s fingerprints are just scattered across history, leaving detectives and law enforcement to run in circles trying to figure out who the hell this mystery man is.

how many police stations do you think were completely stumped and eventually had to give up a case because absolutely none of the details were adding up. because the villain of sorts exists outside of time.

also: the fact that this particular station had to clean up after five in the past means that in 1938, he was in the very city he grew up in. and i really wonder what he got up to while not working. he definitely explored the city, right? definitely stalked the hell out of reginald to try and see if there was any chance he was up to something?

just a tiny little scene that i think gets glossed over sometimes, but i just think it’s so interesting. the way that they reveal things and set up plot points and background information in the first season is so so good, because the first time you watch it you’re like…why are the kid’s fingerprints from 1938? what would he have been doing there?

but then you forget about it and then they reveal that he’s a time traveling assassin, and you don’t even think about it again until a rewatch. GOD this show used to be so damn good
