You're telling me that Maddie is getting a big plotline focus for the first time since s5 pretty much, since even her wedding didn't involve a lot of her just for y'all to be like "uh excuse me this is about Buck"? Like are you fucking for real right now? Buck? Buck who got the Gerrard plot focus, the bi arc, his death, the donor kid basically giving him all the fucking focus in the past 2 seasons is gonna get the focus AGAIN because "obviously it is not Maddie getting kidnapped"? Do you hear yourself???????????????? You're telling me what? That you think they filmed Maddie being taken just to put in the trailer and mess with us? That Tim is saying Maddie is gonna have a thriller story just because it's all about Buck???? Be so fucking for real with me, let Maddie be the focus for heavens SAKE.

60-pages of Buddie comic?? Am I crazy?? Yeah, crazy about Buddie lol I wanted to upload everything in one post so I combined 2 pages in 1 photo since there’s a max of 30 photos in a post. I hope it’s still readable. Pls lemme know if it isn’t ^^

Storywise, I’ve always wanted to write a scene where Eddie is hit with all the things Buck had done for him in the show. I thought this was the perfect chance to do it and have Eddie realize how much he meant to Buck and how much Buck meant to him. And the separation just begs for the ‘what if Buck gets into an accident while Eddie isn’t there?’ hahaha and who isn’t a sucker for a happy head over feet (yes Alanis Morisette inspi— played it on repeat while making this) in love Eddie???!!?!?!

Although I wasn’t able to translate everything I had in mind into this comic, I’m still pretty proud that I was able to complete it. At least, the main story! So there will be some supplementary comics that will follow this storyline. I’ve written out most of them and drafted two so far. I hope I’ll be able to finish everything in time before 8B coz I’m suddenly moving this month and will be busy, as if the comics jinxed me haha

I know this isn’t what I normally post, but I was watching Jennifer Love Hewitt’s new movie, “The Holiday Junkie,” and recognized this apartment lol. Buck’s apartment being used, plus having multiple 911 actors in this film, makes me lose my mind. 

At least this made me a little less sad about waiting till March 😭

Half questioning my memory of the post s4 era, half side eying a certain character, so correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there was ever a time when the Buddie fandom fully took the single “Evan” from the season 4 finale as Eddie receiving “Evan” privileges from then on. From my recollection, fics stayed mostly consistent with their uses of “Evan” by Eddie, perhaps just with an emphasis on important moments (love confessions, Christopher’s adoption papers, wedding vows, NDEs, etc.) after the finale. And I had to stop myself from wondering why that is because I know why. We all know. Because nobody wanted to use “Evan” in fics when Buck had just told his parents that people who know him call him Buck. So Buddie fandom heard that, accepted it, and uses it only sparingly. In canon and fanon, even Maddie only rarely uses “Evan” anymore, and it feels even less common for her to use post-Buck Begins (if at all, actually). So the fact that Tommy and BT fans tend to use “Evan” (at least, this has been my experience) is so utterly jarring. Buck told everyone his preference, and I believe LFJ has spoken about being told to use only “Evan” when referring to Buck, so I simply do not understand anyone who believes that BT is in love already or endgame. Yes, it could go the “Buck gave Tommy ‘Evan’ privileges off-screen” route, but then why push it off-screen? It would be a major allowance made for a new love interest, and a significant step in Buck’s character arc. Yet we see nothing of the sort. So why would anyone believe that’s what happened? The last we heard, Buck had told his parents and everyone else to call him Buck exclusively, with the minimal exception of Maddie (who was, for most of his childhood, his one and only lifeline and confidant). That sort of history and characterization is not ignored if there is not something very wrong with the writers’ room. It was not even ignored by a significant portion of the fandom post-season 4, although Eddie gaining permanent “Evan” privileges would’ve been a strong indicator of a Buddie endgame (had an on-screen explanation of Eddie gaining this privilege been released). It was not ignored, and it did not change the nature of Buck in fic nor fanon. So why in hell is the same not holding true for a brand new relationship like BT?

One other reason why I'm more inclined toward Buck & Tommy? They understand each other's line of work, but they are NOT working in the same firehouse. They WON'T be constantly attached to the hips all day at work and outside of work. Just like Hen, Bobby and Chimney do have their significant others outside the 118 firehouse, I would prefer for Buck to have a significant other outside the 118 firehouse, too. Remember how Hen basically said Buck doesn't have anyone outside the 118? That's a potential difference and improvement Tommy could make for Buck.

So anyway, now we need jealous!Eddie next episode please!!!

P.S: is it weird that I kinda ship Buck and Tommy? Don’t get me wrong I still want buddie to be endgame here; but bucktommy is kinda… cute?

eddie's "but his wedding is about you?" comment was not him saying that buck bringing tommy to the wedding is making it about him btw. it was literally the exact opposite. in the most teasing way possible he was pointing out that the bachelor party and the wedding are literally the exact same situation, so if by his logic "officially" calling tommy his date to the wedding isn't an issue then it's silly to think the bachelor party would be either. if you took it the other way and decided this was some gotcha moment of eddie basically calling buck selfish for wanting to take a guy he likes to his sister's wedding then I fear you've not only misunderstood eddie's love for buck, but also buck's love for his sister and chimney and their love for him. also i think you're real fucking annoying.
