How does the American law enforcement not realize they are making Luigi into a fucking superhero? People are putting him next to that superman movie. Making him into this circus is gonna make him into an irl avenger.

every day i wake up and think about the fact that wade was special forces. and no there is not going to be any singular coherent point to this post this is just every thought and headcanon i have ever had about it

but like he will never not be a soldier in every single way. there are things he's learned that he's had to do like how to shoot and clean guns and how to survive torture and how to stake out a place and address medical emergencies, but there are also the other things like focus and discipline and communication, right. and this absolutely has an effect on many things that he does

in the case of an emergency, he can lock in and focus on the task he needs to do no matter what. wade as a person is very in touch with his emotions, but he can switch that off when necessary. we saw this when he was protecting vanessa in deadpool 2, and that was before vanessa was even physically injured—if he has to deal with a severe injury of a loved one, his special forces training would override any personal emotions he feels. and wade is intrinsically selfless, but his training has definitely helped hone that mindset: leaving no man behind, service before self. he was literally trained to put his life on the line for others and this is a theme we have seen in every single movie. doing the experiment for vanessa over actually caring about his own life, literally dying for russell, sacrificing himself so logan can live.

and even in daily life he is very attuned to his surroundings and body language. he knows how to carry himself, can change the tone of a conversation through the subtlest shift in body language. if he's angry or displeased, his tone could remain as lighthearted or nonchalant as before, but the air will shift ever so slightly to let you know that he's serious. and that is Scary. he can be so intimidating when he wants to be

also ! his identity as a soldier itself was protection for him. this is more symbolic than anything but Look at this:

this is by no means the special forces uniform or even a military uniform in general but this outfit choice was definitely meant to mimic it (vanessa is also wearing the same army green). it's literally armor for him in preparation for receiving bad news. like a soldier going to war

all this to say that he is an incredibly capable man and a soldier at his core and did not need protecting even before he became deadpool. not only that, but he is often the most qualified and skilled person around, which necessitates him doing the protecting most of the time. but just because he doesn't need protecting, it does not mean he doesn't need protecting on a mental and emotional-connection level. this is why logan is so good for him, because he's one of the only people in the world who understands this and can actually do something about it and will take a bullet or two for wade just because he can

I always see people make certain dp characters [ie: Danny's parents, val, giw] wanna get rid of phantom from danny like an exorcism

Even tho they're the same person right

But I always think of that ep where danny went through that ghost spliter, and you see Phantom and danny as two separate beings [this would've been so cool to explore btw]

Before they quickly went back lol

But what if the giw or someone actually succeeded in splitting them up. I wanna see the ramifications that would have.

Would Danny's "human form" slowly deteriorate from the injuries he sustained from the portal? Would it be instant or would it happen slowly.

Everyone thinks yay! No more halfa hes cured yippee 🕺until Danny looks more and more worn down, has phantom pains, can't sleep, nightmares, and slowly slowly his injuries start killing him and everyone starts noticing.

And then they realize danny can't live without phantom. That the people trying to save him from phantom inevitably ended up killing him again.

Also on the flip side how would this affect phantom like would he just fade away since his body technically isn't dead yet. Would he be caught up in some weird in-between 🤔

Thinking thoughts about how Zoro was seen literally as the devil, a blood thirsty monster that terrorized the East Blue... in reality, he was just surviving, alone, hunting pirates instead of harming civilians, but no one saw past his reputation.

Except when Luffy crossed paths with him, and yes, he complimented his strength, but he also acknowledged Zoro was more than just violence. He told Zoro he was a good person. Something he had probably never heard.

And he was stunned someone saw his fighting spirit as ambition and the pursuit of a dream and a promise, not just as mindless violence and sadism.

Because that's what Luffy is, hope and comfort that you are good and your dreams are at the reach of your hand and the opinions of others don't matter if you live without regrets and in freedom.

natsu and lucy sparring post-war at the guild gym and they kinda gather an audience cause of how long they’ve been fighting. lucy’s hair is out of her ponytail and natsu’s bangs are in his eyes. they’ve gotten to the point where they’re playing dirty. consistently taunting each other and absolute foul play. at some point lucy pins natsu on his back with his hands above his head and natsu fuckin headbutts her to get outta it. there are faint scales around natsu’s eyes, the room feels like it’s 90 degrees. everytime lucy changes stardress its nearly blinding and it seems like there’s bits of stardust clinging to her.

the tension is fucking palpable. everyone feels it. people are wolf whistling whenever one of them pins the other down. natsu gets lucy in a headlock and whispers something in her ear and erza feels downright scandalized. she considers covering wendy’s poor eyes.

Aithusa Returns Thoughts Pt 2

- Aithusa won't cuddle with Kara the way he does with Lena, but he does allow her to fly with him. Sometimes he even in invites her, hovering in place expectantly until Kara lifts up up and away at his side.

- Archer doesn't know that Aithusa is a dragon. He only ever sees Aithusa as a cat. An oddly colored cat, to be sure, with an uncanny intelligence in its eyes that's only sometimes a bit unnerving.

- One day Lena and Archer are walking to lunch downtown when a stranger steps into their path to start berating Lena for how her brother almost ended the world. Used to such animosity, Lena is ready to wait him out, but Archer is having none of it. He steps between her and the stranger, and gets in the stranger's face about they should ashamed to take their rage out on the woman who helped *save* the world, a woman they don't even know, how DARE THEY, until the stranger shrinks back and scurries away with their tail between their legs.

- Lena watches almost bemusedly, and when Archer turns back, shoots him a wry smile. "Feel better?" she asks. Archer adjusts the sit of his sport coat, standing proud and tall. "Quite," he says.

dimension 20 posting but i just have to say. i rlly don’t understand people still shipping fabian and riz, especially AFTER sophomore year. pre-sophomore year i understand because we don’t see riz’s like actual legitimate fear about being left behind because of his romance aversion but in sy we DO and it’s obviously not a “i don’t want romance became i’m attracted to the same gender”. dude literally makes up a fake s/o on the spot to feel included. you can’t just put aside a character’s aromanticness because you want to ship them with someone lol

this new tour got me thinking about performance again (as one does)

wataru tends to repeatedly put himself in the support or even villain position to make someone else shine, whoever it is that he deems the protagonist at the time, so that the story "progresses correctly". he often takes a step back so that "the newbies who are still learning" can get their time to shine, even if he'd also like to be at the center for a longer time.

and this is a problem he has in this tour too. fine already told him to do what he wants, but he's still somewhat hesitant and ends up playing around with izumi, he doesn't really get serious about it and that frustrates izumi to no end, as he's really competitive and truly works very hard to get where he's at

meanwhile, in performance we see one of the reasons why wataru likes hokuto's mom that much (lol). in her troupe, wataru (18-19) gets to be the inexperienced newbie, something he hasn't been in well over ten years, as a child actor genius

i'm really hoping that after this tour we'll get to see wataru truly going all-out
