Hhhhhhhhhhhh the sudden realization that there are people actually LOOKING at my stuff, reaching out, commenting, wanting to be friends, like- ...Okay, I KNOW I put stuff out there with the thought "Hey maybe someone will see my art and it will make them happy! That's all I want!" *Peoples sees my art, LIKES it, crawls into my DMs/tags me/otherwise responds and engages with it, maybe even wants to be friends, it MAKES THEM HAPPY*

WHOA! ALSO I'm suddenly plagued with the "oh boy, what if I say something really stupid and they discover how lame and what a dork I am and then leave" TT___TT Ough these folks are already so nice and I barely know them yet I hope they don't want to already leave- ....MY HUSBAND IS USUALLY THE ONE WHO TALKS TO PEOPLE FOR ME BECAUSE?? HE IS SMOOTH?!?! AND I AM?? NOT?? And not afraid of being embarrassed like I think this man just, doesn't have the ability to be embarrassed?? I also like, am starting to heavily use tumblr after literal YEARS of inactivity so I feel like an old fart trying to figure out what all these new features/buttons are and do, so if my formatting is ugly I'M SORRY I have no clue to to change text colors/italics/can I even USE emojis?? MY GOODNESS. it's been a hot minute since i posted the first part and i guess i just couldn't SHUT UP because this is FOURTEEN PAGES LONG. please don't mistake silence for hatred. please don't mistake unanswered plotting messages as indifference, or a lack of enthusiasm towards you. considering the ages of most roleplayers, many of us have bills to pay, families to take care of, medical conditions to treat, appointments to make, classes to take, homes to clean, and lives to live away from the computer that are far, far more important than writing on tumblr — life has a tendency to get in the way of hobbies and fun things like this. be patient with your fellow writers. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. of course you can set your boundaries, keep your space comfortable, and softblock whoever you wish, but do so while recognizing it's probably not hatred or apathy that keeps them from leaping into your dms with message after message. they probably love this hobby just as much as you... but sometimes life gets in the way.

I actually think it would be so funny if Thor adapted to Midgardian clothing and such, wearing t-shirts and jeans and after Asgardians start settling on Earth that's generally what has to happen. But Loki keeps wearing his complicated leathery Asgardian clothing for the apparent sole purpose of jump-scaring any visitors to New Asgard
